Hello good evening and welcome to the Talking Cup. It's Sunday the 24th of November. It's Gav, it's Emi, it's Keith, it's Liverpool eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, after a treat to win away at Southampton. Today, Keith is awkwardly waving at everybody in the chat. I don't know what to say about that wave, he's a good predator. That's so Keith waves to all the families down at the football matches. Anyway, if we were left at eight points clear, a treat to win away at Southampton. It wasn't the best performance, but they got the job done in the end. Keith, I'm going to come to you first and I want to talk about the reaction to Liverpool running much later in the show, but we've got what we always got with overall reaction after the game. It's job done, it wasn't job very well done, but it was job done, and it's the sort of win where people are going to fuck off, isn't it? It's the sort of win that champions do, you know what I mean? It's the sort of win that we said in the chat earlier, when we won the league, it was like Aston Villa when you're not playing great and you're down and opposition fans and players are looking and expecting you to drop points and then you just pull it out of the bag. Now, I want to say you pull it out of the bag, Liverpool didn't play well today. They deserve to win, like watch that back tomorrow without any fucking emotion or tension in that, and you'll see that Liverpool absolutely violated them, but when you have that tension in the moment, Man City dropping points Liverpool, you know, have an opportunity to step on the trout a bit, and at times it looks like I'm going to go on to the blade and the officiant later on, but it looked like those all sorts going on to scope a Liverpool bow. They came true, and that's the most important thing. We don't mind winning ugly once you win, do you know what I mean? I'm much rather than, you know, heroic defeats, we were playing brilliantly, give me this hopefully 1-0s or 2-1s or, you know, give me them every day of the week, give me tortoises and I'm going to be the lawyer, you know what I mean? So, I'm the lawyer without, I think it was a good performance. Southampton, again, we said this about Wolves a few weeks ago when we played Wolves. They're better than their position suggests, now, Southampton, I hadn't better than their position suggests, but they do have a couple of players that can do damage today. We saw that today, a man toil at the Blee, it was a trefer then, but ultimately the clash out. I mean, you look at it back, Liverpool had all the ball, Southampton, they scored a goal from a penalty that was discussed in the world. They got a breakaway goal, which was a noise goal, don't get me wrong, the second goal, but it was lax, but Liverpool, let's say it was, you know, Marcel, we should have done better, let's say, on that bow, look, we came out with the win and, you know, not a day where Marcel has grabbed a brace and the clamour to get the contract done is reaching fever pitch at the moment. So, look, good weekend, great weekend for the Reds and good weekend for football in general with Diora Shawa Lewis, in which Lukman City are the team that are in a bit of trouble at the moment, you know, losing a player like Roger D has really seemingly affected them. Arsenal got a good win against Fartis, but all week in there was keep putting that pressure on and keep, you know, getting the wins and it doesn't matter, as we say, it doesn't matter how you get them once you get them, the wins are win, we take it every day of the week. Yeah, a couple of people have noticed that if, and actually in particular, it says Gavar, a quick switch from Billions to Trades, he had a was Billions in the background last week, it's now Christmas Trades, and I picked the worst weekend ever to do because my wife was away for a couple of days, so I was there with the two kids going, yeah, let's put up the Christmas tree, I was like, fuck it, no, no, no, no, just my daughter just goes this and he said we're doing it, we're doing it, you know, she just doesn't take any shit. This was the weekend, wasn't it, we put our eyes up as well, yeah, will it be rearranged when she comes home? No, no, I'm always home, things, the place is amazing, you know, and when they get her downer, I'm not the decorator, I do it, apparently, the problem is here, the ratio of bulbs there. Yeah, I don't know, I'll get away to the football room, I'm really sorry, right, but if you're watching this, or you're listening afterwards and those young kids around, don't get them away from the thing now, because this is the hardest bit of a lot, right, you're taking the stuff out of the attic, yeah, and you've certain items in the attic that will be used at Christmas or presented at Christmas, that's where I can put it to younger kids, so you have to keep them, children away from the land, and so you don't see in the attic, yeah, and it couldn't make us a bit more strategic, I think, yeah, it couldn't be a more strategic game away there, you know, it was the issue, yeah, but listen, right, the hardest bit was distracting them while I got the stuff down and put the stuff back up, that was the hardest bit of it all, me daughter completely took our and just went listen, just get the stuff down on the oil side real, and you did it for any time, so there you go, and me, Keith said there, take those wins, you know, I think, I think he makes a good point though, if you look up back in the cold of your day without the tension and the drama, Liverpool are actually okay today, I think they've played worse this season, and one, they're okay today, the penalty we get on to on a bit, the second goal is a bit of a madness, but overall, they could have had six or seven, you know, and that's not me not digging them in, because I think certain parts of it was very, very poor, but it does say to other teams, like, you know, there's narratives that continue to go on about not playing anyone, not hitting a bad step, you know, not winning them when they're playing poorly, they played, I would say probably six and a half over to end today, and a time seven and a time's four, but they won the game, you know, and that's all you can do, if you're not playing well, you pick up your three points, you move on, you go, we must do better on wins, or we must do better next Sunday, that's all you can do, Emma. To me, it was a stereotype ago, first came back after an international break, and I was a little bit concerned about that, but with the extra day, we normally play a half-twelve on a Saturday, or on a Saturday, the fact that we had it on Sunday, I didn't think we would see it, but we did, there was a, I don't want to say there was a kind of an air of just having to show up, but some of the things that we did were almost unforgivable. I think Yaman, dibbling, dibbling, dibbling, isn't it, he's very good, he's somebody to keep an eye on, he just loves to drive forward with the ball, loves seeing that, but I think the majority of their chances probably came from mistakes, and you can rectify mistakes, not like we were getting run out of it, and I would probably get on to the goal, but the second goal was like, it was like watching all the no ends in the park, like why was everybody just attracted to the ball and away from the attackers, and it's, I wouldn't say it's worrying, it's just a stereotypical game after an international break, I thought we played well in parts, you're right, we probably could have scored a few more goals, but we just did enough, let's not forget, right, so everybody's like, ah, lupola shaky, I still struggled to put them away at the Emirates, see, struggled to put them away, I think at the Etihad, they only beat them all nil, so not disagreeing with Keith, but these teams, these are their cup finals, these big games, and they put, like they'll probably go out next week and lose the fucking Ipswich, it's just, they upped again, a bit, the crowd is up for it, one thing that I will say, and I'm not going to harp on about it is there's one minute, fifteen seconds in, it was feed the scalars, and I have to say, there must be somebody in the crowd that said something to them, because they didn't hear it again for the whole game, so hopefully opposition fans are holding each other to task over that showy, but then, okay, so, so Tamsen isn't what the Monte Carlo of, of the, the steel coast, is it? Yeah, no, no, no, yeah, but then, look, it's a, the three pointers that maintain that matters, there's a few things similarities today, keep mentioned one with the Villa game, I think we've had another one of those earlier on, the season, I can't remember who it was against, but there's a lot of similarities, whatever about how, how far we are ahead, and all that kind of stuff, with 90 and 20, the Salah whipping off is Jersey, like, you could, you could get there, I think it was against your night, and he whips off to Jersey, he could get the two pictures today, but that's, that's, that's, that's, that's almost late to say, almost, yeah, almost identical, but it's that feeling like, it's that we're, we're going for this for going to eat, like, and that kind of made me happy, but look, three two, you take another 20 of those for the end of the season easily, as long as the three points is all that matters, like, you're, you're going to have, you're going to have off days to live up here all of all there, even live up here, maybe over last year towards the end of the season, probably draw or lose that game, so there's a resilience about them, but be great if they didn't need to be resilient, just play, play every opposite, take every opposite is a position of face value, or just think there is, there can be a case that we, not maybe underestimate teams a little bit, and we're probably lapses of concentration for, for certainly for the tackle leading to the tackle for the penalty, but like, also like, the defendant, and I get that we try and press as kind of a group of players, but like, somebody else has to pay attention to deflect the other players, like, who's marking these players, like, it's just all getting attracted to the ball, like a magnet was just ridiculous for the second goal. I, I don't agree with the, the statement, lapses and concentration, I think, very much of another you need to have a long hard look on himself, after the force call, a bit of shadow of a deal, I did go on a bit of Robertson, and we go on a bit depending on the minute, but what he does for like, I was criminal. It's absolutely criminal, where he goes, he comes out of the fence, he runs out of the fence, and instead of just tapping it off to somebody, he tries to play a ridiculous focus pass backwards towards a fallback, or a midfielder that's dropping him, it was horrendous. That to me is an lapses and concentration, that's some of the things this is getting really easy here. What is it? Yeah, that's what I mean. It's on the rest of my, the opposition. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's, it's literally out strolling here, and that actually will happen, or way, where it needs, or one in the look, where, where, and the wearing control, or one in the look and control, they were passing it round, they were being, they were being doing the usual, keep the ball away from Southampton, make them run around, make them ill, and then he, he does that, but we get into, we get into the goals in a little bit, and John Lewis calling this season, a season of narratives, and he also points out that, and Arsenal gave away a tune and lead at home the Leicester, and came back to winning in the last couple of minutes. Everyone was told that that was the Sony, the champion, so listen, it's narratives everywhere, and we got onto all that there, because it's a, it's a bit, it's, it's actually mad, some of the stuff that people come out with, but the line-up, Keith, you know, calories in gold, also in the semi-cassetal, took a knock, knock, and was injured, and during training, so he wasn't to be seen, Robertson plays, Canate and Van Dijk, surprisingly for me, ball play. I was under the impression that Canate was on four yellow cards when being told it's truly yellow cards, he's on, maybe it's one from a cup game, I don't know if that's far now. Yeah, it's far now, yeah. But it was your mate over there, that was leading it to believe that, wasn't it? Yeah, it was ever, ever was telling everyone, how does all panic and you do it about Canate? Well, I think he might have four cards this season. There was a commentator said it, big cards I think he said, they said, no, there was definitely, there was definitely someone commentating on it a couple of weeks back saying, that's his four yellow card of the season, which would make you think that's his fourth late one. Anyway, Bradley comes in right back, fair enough, then he does, he does Graven Birch, he does Jones, he does Sobber's Law, he gives McCallis an arrest, he also gives Diaz a rest, and goes with Gakbob, he goes with Nunez, and he goes with Salah. I mean, that's a project, he, or should we stop being surprised, or trying to be surprised, he goes strong when he has the ability to go strong, he doesn't feel like a manager's going to go, even if he's on the yellow, I'm not going to pull him in. I'm going to take that and deal with the next game after this one, when that's over. Yeah, I think that that's the nail on the head, Garvey. It doesn't seem to be, you know, two moves ahead, he just deals with what's coming up, because, well, I was not surprised McCallis was left out with the yellow card situation. To bring him on then, people were a bit nervous, we were going to bring him on it, look, your trust that he can get you in the game. The worry you had was that the referee was a bit tired, happy he had to start as well, and they all, and I thought, you know, any little contact boy, McCallis, and you go there and look at him, but I think slot from what we can see, and, you know, oil is, make this assumption, I'm not speaking for anyone else. He seems to trust the lads that are there, he seems to trust that, you know, if it's courtless Jones that comes in to play in a deep barrel, he's happy enough for him to do that, he's been playing very well recently. If let's say Kanate are Virgil, he seemed to go with them, and the, not necessarily the broken thing, and the fake nails that Virgil was injured and sent home from Holland for an injury, I think it's just, job was done there, and he released them, big Ronald the Red, let him go home early. I think Kanate is playing a lot of internationals now as well, he's Captain France in the last game as well, wasn't he, so we played the game with internationals, yeah, it wasn't, it wasn't, it wasn't, it wasn't, it gave me a win, I was against Italy, so, yeah, like it's, it's high level games, and yeah, start to saying Roy, the worry we've all been said about Kanate is the durability, can he play so many games, and so far, Jesus Christ, which would, couldn't be going better, and so the word, or maybe I would have looked at maybe you're bringing in the Gomez at the back for Kanate, but, you know, he goes with, he goes with eBay, and, you know, all's well, that ends well in that space, but other than that, I wasn't overly surprised, I mean, Diaz and Gakbo, Gakbo seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment, not surprised he went with that. I think he goes with that as well, because of the South Americans coming back. Yeah, which is understandable, which is understandable, and obviously known as start to front, but that's because of the lack of options, you could have done Diaz through the middle, which he's, you've seen him doing before, but, no, look, we think it was as expected, you know, look, you say, it was on the semi-cast, maybe that would have been one you'd look at with Robertson, but other than that, I think it was as expected. Getting into the game, a lot was made before about the weather, you know, blowing a gale, all this sort of stuff, and, like, as Bauti mentioned there, you know, they lose narrowly at the Emirates, they lose narrowly at the Etihad, they have, I think they won't win this season, I think that might be everything actually at home, a late winner, but they're in a lot of the games they play, they're in a lot of the games they play, and for the first, up until the goal, for Sabo's Law, it was like, yeah, Liverpool are in the vicinity, you know, they look more threatened, Bauti's are in the game, you know, and I suppose that won that incident where, and their striker goes down when Kanate rubs against them, and it's like, would you ever give me a break, you know, and, but then we score, and it's, I think it's a good press, but I can't understand what the goalkeeper's doing, I can't understand what the midfield is doing, and I can't understand what the defenders trying to put the lawyer, but it's not a game, Martindy. Yeah, and so... Before we go on, we're like, and your man is just going, Vincent Coenpani is real in football, but he's thinking the guy felt when getting a top job, and I think Russell Martin has his oil and a gig somewhere, and he's like, no, no, I'm playing, like, what the top team in the world here, to hell with the consequences, because they, they're so fucking solid. He's even treated so many chances. How do you order to pay him when he's chin strapped, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's, it's crazy the way you play for the players that they have. I think it is as well, and it's, to be honest with you, like, it's not like the blitz, the championship, and came up, they came up through the playoffs, you know what I mean? So, it was, but look, that's where they are, they're, they're going to stick with this, and he won't be in a job at the end of the season, and they'll go back with that money to the championship, that's what's going to happen, right? But when you look at the goal, and overall, it's like, what's the keeper doing, like, rolling it to him at that speed, when he's fully with his back, like, faces his own goal, he plays a back to the hook, to the center half, who, instead of just booting the road, Troy's the thorn, and play it back into another area where it's just come from, and you're like, what is happening here. But in fairness, Saba's like, get to, and it's a brilliant finish where he's left for, and I really felt then, right, that settles us, and I've no problem with seeing it until half time here, and just take this thing out for 15 minutes, and then we go into the second half, and our quality would show, it was a really good goal, wasn't it? Finished with it. Yeah, and I don't know, I think he, I think he needed it for all the FIFA, and the Ultimate Teams, people out there that don't appreciate what he actually did. The amount of work that he gets through in a game, he misplaces the odd pass and stuff like that, but he's, chances are he wins the ball back, he's won the ball back a few times in midfield today, I think, and draw forward the as, or not the as, the gakball, and gakball gets a shot off, or Jones gets a shot off, he's just, he's dealing with the work, I think somebody said earlier, he's dealing with the work of two midfielders. So it was great for him to get the goal, but yeah, looks, it hadn't lead the play to the strengths, like, against, like, probably one of the best present teams in the world at the moment. Now, we weren't doing it to begin with, and I think we only kind of started to do, and we saw, we're kind of feeling them and see what they had, see what they wanted to do, and then we kind of engaged the press, but it was around the end of the time that they decided to fluff that, but it was a great press and a great finish as well, and it always looks better when it goes in after sort of the post, all goals, you have to do, yeah. But it's the light, the light, the light for Saba's light, I have to say, because he has put in a lot of tankless work, opened down the pitch, so it was great for him to get his flowers to the end of the goal, some people still won't give him his flowers, even some of the chats we were in, or the chat line in, people still aren't willing to give him his flowers, so look, obviously, the light for him to get a goal. I would love to see him get more, but like, I think while he's dealing, and we're scarring freely, salad scarring freely, all the other, everybody else chipping in, it's okay to have a player that put in a lot of work, and maybe it doesn't score, like, that's okay, like the team is winning, everybody else's scarring, if you were relying on him to be a gold scarring midfielder, well, then you might have an issue, but we're not really... You see, the team for me with Saba's light is, I think he misses one of the way at walls where he thinks, I'm making confidence in the net, right, and the keeper makes a save, right, and it's a really fucking good save. Now, he should probably get less contact on it and put it to the side of the keeper, right, but I actually think it's down to his decision making when he's in those areas that stop him and get more goals, because I always have expected him to win that and look to pass someone inside. Here, you try to take it, where he's just letting that fuck up and I'll just bend it in the corner. I actually think he gets, for me, enough opportunities every game to let one go, and listen, even if he has a shot or two shots in a game where you're thinking, "Oh, he might have usually passed today," it makes the other team think, but it was getting to the stage where Saba's light, when he got up here, he's not shooting, he's looking for a ball, makes you cut off all the avenues, whereas if he just opens up and hits when his left, that hits when his right might go in, it might, but it might, if it doesn't, at least you're going, fuck that fellow was close there. Now, when you get to the next time, do I hang and look for the pass or do I press him? If I don't press him, he could absolutely stick her in the top corner, and he knows we have that quality. Or they know he has that quality, but it was one nil, but Keith, I don't know why he showed me on the pitch. No. It's graceful, and he can talk about over exuberance and, you know, all of these. He's opposite, and he's up all of the ankles as far as we can see it. Yeah, and I mean, it's the consistency with these things, you know, it's, you see a red car yesterday in the everything game, really, um, Pigford, and no, I haven't seen that. I'm going to be honest. I haven't seen that. Well, you have a way. Right. So the bar gets crossed in. Right. Across the box, no guards coming in at the back post, and he's got his foot up his leg up to try and get a connection on the bar, Pigford comes out, and he connects with Pigford hoy up on the leg, below the knee, hoy, hoy, Shane, and Pigford's rolling around pointing at the Shane. You know, it shouldn't have been a red card because no guard is gone for the ball. He's going to try and touch the ball into the net, right? And it's, and it's, you know, it's a, it's a genuine attempt, but it's like a toy and it's reckless and it's dangerous. Or you think that was a worst challenge today, where I'm Atlanta than the one yesterday on Pigford. Now, that's not say I'll pick for because it's Pigford, just saying I wasn't a fellow. There's no force in it. And the, I don't see it. He's just trying to connect. He's trying to get a little touch at the back post or the ball getting whipped in, so it's not in the end, exactly. The intent isn't there. The aggression isn't there. The force isn't there. Whereas that one, Trebo, Lelano, he thought that was a dirty challenge. I thought it was bad. But then you see other ones, the Chelsea one yesterday, the Wilfred and the Idion, Cole Parma, a disgraceful challenge on the back of his Achilles, no red card. You know, and it's the inconsistency with these decisions that draws your mind. We had to put up, we had to soak up court machines getting sent off our hoi tackle on spores when he was gone for a ball and his foot rolls over the ball. And yet we see this. So it is very frustrating. Adam Lelano should have been sent off today. I don't care if he was a Liverpool player. And then to make a war she goes down injured and we put the fucking ball out of play. Yeah. And I get that years, Cole Paoli with some of the lads in there and he's well loite. I know me, but listen, I've got a lot of respect for Adam Lelano, Roy. Player for Liverpool won everything, I think, Liverpool. Roy, but at the end of the day, he doesn't play for Liverpool. Exactly. If he plows into a challenge like that, I want every player around, and I want all his mates around gone, he has to go and actually go on with him and say, you should be off. That's a fucking disgrace. Exactly. Then we put it over him. Yeah, I wouldn't have done that. You start asking me, is he all right? Yeah, Paul likes to do that. I mean, he could be, you know, a great friend to them. He could be a wonderful neighbour to his neighbours, a great husband to his wife, you know, a lovely father and all this, so he off, filthy challenge around the ref. But then again, you can't say that to the refs anymore. And you'll get both. So it's a fucking hard, they toy themselves up a month. Yeah. Well, look, Chris says they have VVD asked the question, mate or not. VVD does. And I suppose you have to be careful because if you say anything to a referee and you're not the captain, they have, well, we're not going to stay the book yet, but haven't said that. It's gone every week where other players are saying something. They're not being booked. It's very, they choose when to bring this in and when not to bring it in, you know. Yeah. Well, he goes off eventually and then the penalty and Emmett, you can argue, is it in, is it out, is it on the line, is it not? In my opinion, I think Robertson is on the line, but I don't think he makes connection with the guy on the line. I think the guy is outside the box. I'm not 100% on the real. Is it the failing guy, if, if the, you see, the foul has to happen if it's on or over the line. It's a penalty. Yeah. But I think this foul happens just outside, right? Mm. Brogo back to it. Brogo, brogo back to it. I'm sure they're giving very, very good digging ahead after. I don't care if he's club captain, I don't give a fuck who he is, Virgil, you are probably probably one of the most important players in this soil when we're winning one of the away from home, we're in control, we're moving the ball around. If you want to step into midfield, boy, I mean step into midfield, but then you're either get it to somebody in front of you, you put one diagonally in behind them so someone to chase or you get it away to someone's feet, but you don't try to play something back to where you're coming from because that's where you try to do everything. And Robertson is, for me, too, square on. You should have just stayed off your man and said, really push it, boy, if you want, they're going to go with you. It was, and I don't think it was laps in concentration, I'm going to go back to it. I think it was stupidity from Virgil van Dijk, and I think it was a little bit naive from Robertson, if I'm being honest. Yeah. It was, I'm trying to think of the word, like it's, it's only better than you. Like I can step in here if I want, like that's just the, the boy boy got off it and like from to try and play a ball back to a position where he's just vacated. So there isn't a player there, like, I don't know what went to Robertson, somebody, I was listening to something else earlier on, they said, Robertson should have, like you said, should have just not made the challenge. He was going realistically away from goal and there was somebody in the middle cover as well. And, but it's just, you're right, like some, like Virgil as, as good as he can be, like that's, that's, that's probably the worst you've probably ever seen in Elvom. And, but all of a sudden he thinks he's some defensive midfielder that I can just take on players. And I think there's a trade around them, like you, like you said, he just, just get rid of it. What are we doing? I'm funny and I'm out with it, like, and the tackle for me is outside. I said it earlier on, if the referee thinks that it's close, you blow the whistle, you give a free V.A.R. can then tell you it was inside, then you change it to ability. Yeah. Well, I don't need the disk, the rush to try and point to the spotlight. It wasn't a rush though because the bar goes way past and he takes a couple of seconds and then blows and points to the spot. So I don't think he rushed it, but I'm kind of with you. You give the free kick and you say, look, give the lesser of the two and give it a free kick here. Cause it looks like it's out. So it was a possibility. It might be in. Can you have a look at it? Yeah. But then we're never over torn to that penalty. That was never going to happen. Like, especially where he was in the fucking box. Anyway, this is a new thing as well, isn't that they have the camera on them? I've only noticed that. Sometimes they do it, don't they? Yeah. Anyway, sitting there in their fucking PJML hoodies, two spas, but it was never being over torn. And like I said, if he had given a free, I don't think they over torn the free. But like they do it with yellow cards, they're going to be yellow here and then they can decide if it should be upgraded to red. It's that close to the line that he needs to have given the free kick and then be told, actually, you might want to go and have a look at that. That was never being over torn. But likewise, I don't think it would have been over torn to be having it with a free order because it's not in the box. Robertson's foot just the thing. It's not his foot that fells the guy. It's his knee and his knee is outside of the box. You can see it. It's so darned. They showed it. The free's friend. I don't know how they came to the decision. If the fell continues into the box, isn't what it is, but it catches them on the day. Your man goes down, he lands a bit of forfy into the box. That's, I don't know what that looks like. Do you remember Fabinho again, Sheffield, you know, yeah. Yeah. Freddie Mac Bornean. Yeah, absolutely. I don't see the box, but because it's bleeding laces on the loin, oh, that's a penalty. And there, well, maybe that is what was in the channel, probably no more. There was probably being other panels that were given for this sort, the cardio, where the ball, there's a towel on the loin, or whatever, but they're the only teal that spring to mow in there. We don't watch a lot. It'll tell you to live up here, but all you just don't, all you agree with everything Emma has said that you give the lesser the two eagles and you upgrade it because they're not going to downgrade it. And that's the thing, like, and they're making problems for themselves. Ocean in the chat there, who we think is your referee himself, or don't know, but he said that he looks at the loins man and the loins man is. Fuck the loins man. They then focus down, put the flags up for 10 minutes after an off. So it is happening now. You have to go with the technology. So good. So good. So good. Justin and so good. Price and participation may vary for a limited time only. How with the technology, free kick, is that in soy? No, it's not in soy the box, it's a free kick. If you give the penalty, then it's the showy of, well, yeah, it does no definitive proof that it's not in soy the box. That is different to the fucking still evidence that it's not in soy the box. So how the focus is not given as a penalty? Only gonna put me on the table and put me on the table and put it on the table. Yeah, whatever you want. I'm just gonna warn you, I'm just gonna warn you, stay in the charts in awful form. He says, we just all stop prioritizing with the penalty. It was a marginal decision. It didn't go our way. The ref game with that. No, I'm not having it. No, because that's what VAR is for. I'm not sure what a marginal decision is for. VAR is to correct wrong decisions. The English referees, the PGMOL, have made themselves set this stupid showy with their decisions off. There has to be a hoi bar. There has to be clear and obvious errors. You go with the decision on the pitch. You don't re-refread. That's the whole point of VAR. If you make a mistake, you re-refread the fucking game. So that's a mistake, right? Now, back to my little rant here about Moigal Oliver. The David Kooting happened. Lots of people are giving their opinions on that. Do we think David Koot is corrupt? No, I just think he's a fucking idiot who doesn't like Liverpool. I don't think there's corruption in the sense that I think the only referee that there is a smell of corruption off is Moigal Oliver and it's indirectly to do with Liverpool. The decisions he gives with Man's CE, sort of tinted glasses on, is worse than any other official and the fact that he gets little John Tovatte referee and the boy or whatever the fuck they're based, is a clear, it's a clear and obvious error, but it's a clear fucking conflict of interest in what's going on there. You can say 'Abuto's not Ninda'. Like, the line should be sent off, the penalty is not a penalty and yet the VIR is not intervening as he should. Now, where are these pro-mancy? That's all speculation. That's what conspiracy theories are. But he doesn't help himself with giving these stupid decisions. Look at my Callister and Docu last year, he's the ref, doesn't want to be overruled. The Man's CE Chelsea semi-final, when fucking Jack Relish handles a free kick from Parma, play away. But every decision is so dubious, that he gives, it's just like, I think there's huge question marks on him. Generally, I can't get, and I don't understand what you don't do, why didn't you just draw a line across the edge of the box? I don't have the technology. But why didn't you just call this and can you just free it there? Bring the lines up, will you draw it along the edge of the line as best we have it? Yeah. Is it, is it in? No, it's actually not. And can you draw a line onto the impact point? There it is. It doesn't always have to be used for off-soid, like, and that's not me being flippant. I've been a prick about it. Like, if you have something where it's not contacted, well, you know what to fail. The contact is a fail, right? What you're judging on here is distance. You're judging on where it happened. And also, it's the exact same thing. Where does, where are these people at that time? No. Does he make contact? Is it a fail? Just draw a line. Draw a line along the edge of the 18 yard line, and then zoom around and go, "Now, can you draw a line parallel to that?" Does the point of contact between Andy Robertson and the vicar of Deebly, or whatever his name is, does that hit that line? No, it doesn't. I'm sorry. It's actually a free kick, free kick, and possibly yellow card or whatever the fuck you want to talk about. Honestly, like, that's not me being a wanker. It's just, if you're using the lines of them, what do you do with something else? Do you know what I'm saying? The technology that's available here to come to the correct decision, and that's ultimately what VIR should be. You've got technology there to assist your referee to come to the right decision. And we choose not to. We win the game. I agree. I agree. So we can handle this. I agree. And look, I'm not disagreeing on the Oliver thing. I think it stinks to be fairly fair, right? But John, I'll put another one in there. Well, I'll just put it in. Just put it in. I'll just put it in. I'll just put it in. But that web says he doesn't like to, he didn't want to ruin the game. Yeah. And there was another one. Remember Fulham, City Scard against Fulham, and Leiden, Akanji was standing, blocking Baron Leno. Yeah. And the ball goes in. He's the ref on that as well. But I agree. I agree. Look, I agree. When Emmett says there, you give the lesser decision, and then you can step, you know, you step it up. It's actually an easier way to do things. But if he totally believes it's a penalty, right? If he's out of the box, it's a clear number, Sarah. So they can actually go and change that. Like I'm with you, Emmett, when you say that's never been changed, and the reason you're saying that is because he was involved in what's what's going on here, without selling them conspiracy theories that are ever but, like, I can't understand why they just can't turn around and go, actually, just tell you what we're going to do. Can you stop at that point, the impact plays? Can you draw me a line across our AD and your airline? Thank you. Now, it's that line overlapping the contact that's being made between Andy Robertson and D.B. or ever D.B. Right? No, it's not. It's actually not overlapping. Right? Well, then it's not a penalty. Because it's not on the line. And we've used the technology here in order to line these things up, and we're able to make a definitive answer. And the reason I think that is because the language that comes out, they couldn't definitively tell if it wasn't on the line. So they have to give the unfair decision, which is what a fucking nonsense. Like, just... Would it be the same? Would it be the same? Would it be the same in reverse? It's not the same way it was a free. It can't definitively say it's inside, or what they have said, or what they have offered. Well, if they give the free, if they give the free, right, they probably would have had to say, well, we can't actually tell that that's on the line, and that's what you have to say with the free. But they have the technology they get to go. Listen, we can actually tell you 100%. Give us a second. And the line as it is. The box straight line. Unless the fucking groundsman, like, you know, as sort of Hampton, is blowing, or has fucking, you know, whatever, like, fucking threats, I don't know, he's just shaking all over the place. He has a cold, I don't know. And the line's in bits. The line is perfectly straight. Do you get me? It's perfectly straight, so you should use it, but you don't use it. But anyway, in fairness, you know, as much as we can give up about that, I think very dramatic is appalling, and I think Andy Robertson, I don't, the funny thing is, your man actually slows down, has a look at Robertson, then says I'll have a go at you. It should have given Robertson a lot of the time to go, you're slowing down, there you're going to go, I'm going to anticipate this will normally switch, and it gives me a much more of a window to actually hit you with a tackle and get the ball. The hard time comes, Liverpool are brilliant, at the start of the second half of me, they're quite brilliant to come out, and Keith, then we can see it again, and like Emmett said earlier, it was like someone had taped the window a lot on numbers to the ball, right? And everyone went chasing after, instead of just looking and going, come, y'all just going to stand in our positions a little bit here, if the two said the hard you're staying in our positions, the fallback might be out of the day with the go, y'all just run over towards this ball, he passes to him, and to go finish in fairness to him. It's a noise finish, I can't finish, before we go on to that, actually, I want to go back to their forescull, the penalty, Kallahar makes the save, and the fear it was watching it on, it was David Pronten was commentating next for concealed hand in play, and he said that it was poor boy Kallahar, because he climbed the strike back into the danger zone, and y'all look at the penalty, you know what I mean, he's doing it, you have to get some money, it can only go back there, you can't create a suicide keeper for that, do you know what I mean, if it was a thing better than him? No, no, no, no, no, he thought that was a penalty, but yeah, actually, did he take the penalty, did he take the penalty? No, no, he was great, well yeah, he thought that was great, but he didn't look, he didn't think Kallahar don't cover himself in which glory saved the penalty, which is a bit weird or whatever, but on to the goal, yeah, Southampton, it's been a breakaway, but when you listened to the narratives, I didn't know he was on score, right, and it turns out it was Alan Smith, wasn't it? So, I'm not listening to the play, it never occurred. Oh, it was a character? Was it? Yeah, because I've written down here to talk with him for the card guard as well. I wasn't listening to that, so I left, they're still with David, but even on the second goal, they were going on like as if it was, and look, I'm not trying to dig out Dibley's, he's 18 years old, he's a really, really good player, but you are making it like it was messy playing, do you know what I mean, he gets a ball on the wing, he puts a noise ball in, they get, they make that goal, Liverpool are slow coming back. And again, we've said this before, I love Sarba's, I agree with what was said, I think he's doing the walk of played in too many, he's a Trojan walker, but at times, he should just take players out when there's a break on, and he doesn't, and the Liverpool players hadn't started quick to get back and things like that. It was a goal, they didn't deserve it, do you know what I mean? It's not like they were putting us on the pressure, I really agree, we started well in the second half and then they just played, they get this goal out of relatively notable. Even then, I was confident Liverpool were coming back, and you see the reaction of some people to go behind the annual fucking 40 minutes or something left in this, do you know what I mean, like, have a birthday, sit there and have a cup of tea or something, just take your lead and break, because it's, I think the team have earned the role to have a little bit, even if they're having an off day, there's still winners in that team. Sarba wasn't already worried when the goal went in, the second goal we felt, and I didn't think that we're going to go on suddenly pull forward, I thought we were going to get back into this, and again, we keep saying it, watch the game back without the emotion and without the tension, and you'll see that Liverpool were never not winning that game. And what we go to on down, and then most out of the soil is right enough is enough, you know. With the help of my character. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know where the fucking keeper's going. It's like it's mind when I keep, mind when I keep, I use the runout in the first few days. It's like, it's like, it's like he was standing there, and the ball went over the top and his mind called him for his dinner, right. And he had run out and went, but my, I'm playing and you ain't getting it anyway. All right, then. And he just ran past the play and, you know, you see that on the street out of some of the knocks from the goal. And you're like, I'll tell you how my ashes are bitches and gone, you know, but it was so weird. And I don't know where he was going. The only thing I could think of is, is he expecting a salad not to get to that? Or be the ball to fizz truth, he's, he's, he's trying to, is he trying to break and fizz, you know, skip and he's going to get it. It looks like it's coming up because it's, it's an excellent ball from Graham Birch. It's a real, like Fabino had played a few when I was into manna a few times as well. It was a very Fabino kind of dink over the top, but I think McCarty probably thinks there was too much on it. I don't know whether to just talk of the wind, did the wind hold it up a little bit? And it got, it wasn't, wasn't not a good pass. And it looked like it was gone. And like you said, go all the way through to. And then like the touch by Maule, like it's just unbelievable. Like everybody, I've seen kind of articles and everything, a bit of a salad force touches terrible for salad force touches, unbelievably pulling balls over the air. But that just led the land on his foot. Did he mean it, I'm not sure I was just praying and practically blown at the fucking telly to try and get the ball. He has to, he has to mean it because there's no way he's taking the touch that far ahead of himself, if that balls over the top of the keepers in the goal, there's no way. He must be running in and thinking that keeper's coming out. He has to catch him out of the car and I'm going, oh, where is this further going? I'll just touch a past him here and we're good, but it makes it too well. I don't know what the keeper's at, but we take, but he really isn't the attendee. Could I actually afford today? But yeah, he's quiet enough in the first half. Yeah. Point of the first half. We just seem to, like somebody said it there and I think, I think that's part on Chris. He says, salad almost demanding the ball. I tell one, he's like, now, give me the ball. But like, I absolutely believe he did mean that. I would have liked him to maybe not play so well because I think what it did was, it took away from Bradley Formula the way he was taking up a bit of space that Bradley could have actually ran into. Where the strength will always sort of go in so then be looking at them in ice. Bradley is more orthodox, isn't he? It's only a bit in the first half between Bradley, got forward and pulled one away. It wasn't a great ball across McCarthy saves, but like that's, he overlapped them there. We went in much of that in the second half. I don't know, this is all looking back in there. We've won the game and I just want to let him see Bradley getting to the boy line a little bit more. Yeah. And Gianna does remind us that Troy Daney does believe that Mounsala is not world-class. So yeah, I always remember that, yeah, this is the world we live in. Buloxigen teams. We go to all, and to be honest with you Keith, all you talk when we went to our win in this. No one else's win in this game, live up with our win in it. We were in, again, we were back in the ascendancy. But I think Southampton, that killed them, like I think they probably needed to hang on, probably not at 10, 15. And then really, you know, but they don't. And then we get a penalty. And I think, yeah, man, that's what happens. It's a penalty. I just think he's a bit unfortunate with the way it ends up and hits him. No, no. I just think the way his body's moving, it's 100% the penalty. But when I was kind of gone, yeah, I can see what you're trying to do there, but it just hasn't come out here because that big failure, damn. I think it's the little flick in there, because he flicks his wrist a little bit. I don't think he does it. I think it might be just a reflexes. He knows he's getting, and then he flicks the rest out of it because I think he's thinking about him. Well, I wasn't a bit nervous then as well when I got to go and look at this and go, "Oh, it came off, his chest forced." Not a way to say if it moves on. But then I saw his hand flipping and I thought, "No, that's better." Keith, remind me. Are you one of these that is really, really nervous for most other stands out of the penalty? Yeah, I fucking hate and take them penalties, to be honest. I think he's improved. I'll give him that. Yeah, I don't like them on panels. I don't like the straight normal, I don't like left-footers. Look, on the biggest leaner, messy fan, you're falling. I don't like him. I don't like him on both panels. He's either even though he's scored some absolute builders. That's just something about Salah's technique. It's just straight running and smashing it that I just don't like, but that was a great panel today. Do you know what I mean? Like, because he gets enough loft in it that even if Alex McCarty gets his emma frame out of it, he's not going to have the power to keep that, to keep that out. So, yeah, that was a good panel, but yeah, I'm sorry to nervous in most Salah taking panel and it's ridiculous. At the one time, he tried to place one last season, but he was like, "It's bomb, it was there, and he tries to believe in placement and rolls at wood, and you're like, "Ah, just fuck him." Now, he rolls on wood at home to ask him a couple of years ago, and then he puts one choice for the top corner, and he does the bar against the left one as well. He's missed quite a few, but he's scored a lot. It's refined his technique a little bit more. Oil of the ones where he just picks the top corner and whips it into the top row as he puts it out, places the heart into the top left. The one when he does the whole bar just straight down the middle. He's not as much as he used to. No. He was just running up and absolutely smashing on me. He's gone more. It's a bit more in soil in the foot now, isn't it, than laces, yeah. But still, I'm on that part of it. I don't particularly like a left footer taking a penalty, but with Salah, it's just nervous. I'd much prefer mechanistic to be on the mark. Even Salah's likely to be on them. Yeah. Well, look, he's there. He's scored, and he does score, and he makes a treat here, but ever, you know, in the context of the game, it's a big goal, but he's pulling off the jersey and traveling in the air, you know, and it feels a bit more, and isn't that great a treat to win us at Hampton? He feels, did you kind of get the vibe out in that this is a big win in the context of everything that's going on, and also pushes them into next Sunday with, we're absolutely flying here and use her all over the place. Don't give me wrong, see, he'll definitely turn up and play well around for it. But it felt like a bit of one of those, like Salah's put the marker down here. Yeah, 100%, look, like I said, at the very start, there's a lot of similarities being drawn between 1920 and this season, Keith mentioned one, the Villa game, and just that Salah thing for me is just like, he knows we're going for this, and yeah, it just got me a little, we're shining up in here, I'll say, it got me a little bit horny. But it's just, I was amazed, I immediately went on my phone and I said, that's exactly like he did against you, you know, at that time, my winner is fucking me. But that's it. Look, he absolutely loves the club. I think we all nearly simultaneously put him just pay him his money. The character even read it out, actually unscathed, because there is a flag saying he shoots his bow and they'll give him out, he's dull, there's a new kind of banner, but get it done. He wants to be here absolutely. He's having all the way to Monterey's record. Yeah. He'll get that for the end of the season. He'll get that for the end of the next month. Yeah, I think Matt put a stat in earlier on in one of the chats saying that in the same time period as Harry Kane, so measuring them at the same time, six years, they've both, he's in Salah Roy if there went Kane left and he's got two more goals than Harry Kane in that time. I think it's 137 to 124, or something like that. It's absolutely ridiculous figures and we said, look, he probably wasn't in the game, somebody said he was the man of the ball, like you just, you do see people say, look, whip him off, he's not, he's not beyond being whipped off and sort of like, but there you go. And I've said it myself sometimes, but then he goes and does that, two goals, like, whatever come, does anybody scarred out? Like, obviously with a penalty, someone has a chance of scarring it. But even at that finish with McCarthy coming rushing out, I'm not sure somebody else can scar that goal. I'm not sure somebody else puts that away. So look, he's not beyond being soaked off, but that's why he does, isn't it? Glen Boy. I am his money. Glen Boyland says that was his 100th away goal for Liverpool, football club, has someone else said there, James, no, he said, Salah is 7 away from Henry, Kane's a centre forward as opposed to where Salah is playing, yeah, correct. Chris Hockley says he stays 100% and he's got the most ever gold scarred in Premier League history. Yeah. He's got eight seasons of double digit goals now, says actually. And he's sniffing that gold abuse as possible. I think it's the evolving play of Salah that's more impressive. The goals, yeah. They're more panels and, you know, the numbers are in as high as they were a few years ago, and actually they're all in all that. But what he's doing from a warrior position, again, look, he doesn't get the credit he deserves. He doesn't get the respect he deserves. That weird, I want man, see, he'll, we'll break all the goals card records if he stays there for a long time, but he does fuck all, like, you know what I mean? He's just a big blade and robot up front, he'll bangs in goals. What Salah is doing from the right wing is absolutely out of his world, and yet you still have Troy Dini saying he's not world-class, and you still have people trying to tell you that Eden Hazard is better than him. As a footballer, Eden Hazard is better than him. But as a footballer, the other fellow is better than him, he was a QPR, what was his name? You know, we are a man that don't know all the flicks. Oh, no. No, I dropped. I dropped. I dropped. I dropped. He was better than him. There's loads of players that were better than him as footballers. But what this fellow has done, his legacy, look at the players he's overtaking on this list. You know what I mean? This is a winger. He was being here, he's not like he's here 12, 13 years, and it's a longevity team. He is smashing goals in left-roin center. Oi Tinky still doesn't get the credit he deserves. Oi Tinky soins in your contract, I think even Van Doik will soins in your contract. Oi Tinky ends up second on the list all the time. Behind share. Because I think the numbers are slowing down, and it will take an awful lot to catch share. He shares at 260. He is at 264. That's what he means. He ends up second on that list. Now as he said, Harland probably, if he stays at sea, he will be up there in no time. He won't. He won't kill. Yeah, true. But it's kind of forward and it's expected. Do you know what I mean? He's a f***ing roit winger. We were told as one season monda. He was told as a good player, he was told as a dover. The most, disrespecting footballer, the most, that the one player who gets refereeed differently every other f***ing player. I've seen a mad statue the day that Mo Salah, it was something like, it was something like 126 fells Mo Salah has received in X amount of years. Right? 128. Right? 126 fells. It's less than Jack Rielech got in one season for Manchester City. It was a mad start. I read someone Andrew Beasley. Andrew Beasley put that rope and it was, and he says in the thing, he goes, look, Jack Rielech is the extreme example, but one player in one season got more fells than most Allah has got in sick years, and then with his plays. There was another one, I would think it might have been, it might've been the Anfield wrap, somebody read out a stat and they were reading out across all of the, then it was all of the leagues in Europe or just all of the leagues in England. And he was 245th on the league table of players that have been felled so many times. So top is obviously the player that's been felled the most, I've been given the most phrase. Salah was down at 245 or so. The year last year he finished 36th, there's something, or sixth or something like that, and he can't understand that he won't qualify. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right, Jack. It's mad. Listen, before we go, I want to mention our charities which are in the link, or in the description, if you want to donate there, you can. If you want to donate, you can do, if you can't, please share amongst your family, our friends, colleagues, wherever it might be. The link is there for the Laurel Lynn Hospice as well, if you want to support Phil and the challenges he's doing, and football players are offering, which ends on Monday the 2nd of December, is there, and the tickets for that is flying as well, so if you want to check them out, everything is in the description, and full on so and stuff from his down ball, I think it's the one this time. The program, yeah, and loads and loads of instant prizes, well, it's always got, like, there's so many prizes in these things, I think it's 2.94 with tickets this time, and the tickets are flying for that, and one little bit of info on it to give you later. But, before we finish, Emmett, we looked at Man City, I talked about horrendous against sports, out of 10 minutes, they looked like a team that, there's always talk about them ageing and stuff like that, which I, you can name a lot of players that are toward you and above, I get that, but they just look like a team that had low on confidence, whatever they will, just, they just look low on competitiveness, I think, as more than that, and else, they just, it seems to be very easy to get away from them, to pass around them, to play through them, and a little bit given up, just a little bit, now, we know they can go and put down on the bounce, and everyone's gone, what was a lot of fuss about, but you don't really look like that at the moment to me, and that's one story, but the other one is Arsenal, right, and I've seen a tweet from an Arsenal fan today, I think it might be in the Camden AFC or AFC Camden, and the, the awards were, well, the result here doesn't really matter, with regards to Liverpool and Southampton, I've seen enough, that that nine points will drain away over the next couple of weeks, and I was like, well, the results kind of deal matter, I think they matter most, more than anything, but, when Arsenal are beaten less after late, or beaten Southampton late, did enough, does that person not see enough there to think, I might get the nine points back here, because it's all very well-willing, but, not to be sure, but, Emma, from me, I can understand my Arsenal fans are doing this, because I still, I still think the pressure in this league is on Arsenal, to win. Well, I mean, if you look back over the last couple of years, yeah, they're the ones that have pushed C.E. the closest, would C.E. fallen off, you would have expected them to be the ones that pick up the, the rounds, and, and try and gallop ahead, and, and they haven't, and they're, they're blaming injuries, and they're blaming red cards and stuff like that. Like, for, for a team that's such a good team to go back to C.E. In 1920, it was because of the part, and this year it's because of Rodriguez, surely they're not, or are they one, a one-man team. C.E. C.E. have enough good players there. I know Rodriguez, Ballandor, winner, and all that kind of stuff, but one player, they, they, they should be able to, to call, well, one player. And I, I just think that's, I think what's happened now is, is they've lost five on a row, and teams are thinking, I may as well have a go at these here, like, I mean, the, the, the, the, the air of invincibility about C.E. now, we'll start wearing off. People will think that if we go and have a go, we, we, we could get a result here. Whereas with us, it's probably the, I would say it's the opposite, it's like, oh, Liverpool, whereas it's now at C.E. C.E. will never, to me, will never be a scalp. You know, it's Liverpool, Arsenal. The lower teams going in to try and beat those. That's a scalp. I don't even think Mancy is a scalp. The only scalp is his, oh, the last year's champions. But, like, beaten to me for a smaller team or a lower-down team to be a Liverpool C.E. Our Liverpool, you know, our, our Arsenal probably mean a hell of a lot more to them than C. A lot of teams used to give up against C, but even went down, just like, yeah, whatever like, and, but now I think that air of invincibility has gone from C.E. I think they started well yesterday for the first 10 minutes. Spores were all over the place. But we've seen this in other games this season as well. C.E. have come out of blocks fast, and then all of a sudden other teams take over. I don't know what it is. They, they do have an aging team like, they've got 10 players over the age of 29. I think, was there a statin, like, nine of those started yesterday? Like, we've seen it at Liverpool. Players' legs can't just fall off. Like, Fabinho went from being unbelievable one season to not being able to run the next. Like, it can't happen. And I don't know what's going on at C.E. But long may it continue. I think they will. Can they go on spending in January? I'm not sure. Would anybody want to go and join them in January with what might be hanging over them? But in terms of Arsenal, I'm not going to say Arsenal are over. They're far from over. And they've come back from bigger deficits to win leagues. I think they did it in '97, '98 was against, you know, they were 12 points behind. They were eight behind the three games. We were 11 to 14, and I think behind in January, February 1 to win. We came back to win a point to see it brought it to the last day. So it's far from over, but like, they've played fireworks that we have this season. And the most respect. I think Arsenal, maybe not. I've said that a few times. We've the strongest squad, I think, of the three. And it's probably a tassel between Arsenal and CES. They've got 11s, but after that, they've now real strength. Everybody says that we could pick up an injury. We could pick up an injury, but I don't think we drop off. Like if we lose Sala or if we lose Van Duyck or something like that, we'd probably struggle, but I don't think we'd struggle as much as we're seeing these. I don't know whether Blame and Roger is on a paper and over, cracks or whatever like that. But yeah, it's far from over. If we go and beat City next week to go 11 ahead, we still won't think it's over. We've been born in the past, but it's much prefer to be in our position than in Arsenal's position. Yeah. And there's something he said there in the chat, like, I was not banging on about this and sitting around the water running on how many years and the action is still behind them. Jonathan does say we still have to go away to Newcastle City, Sports Village, Chelsea, Arsenal already have done this. I'm not sure why we're ignoring this. I'm not ignoring anything. But Liverpool have had tough games as well. Liverpool have gone to Manchester United, which is a tough game to go and play regardless of who you are. And people can say not much, not it is. It is. Liverpool will never be an easy game for either team. Everybody's saying this. We've beaten Barnet and bolted him and lost to Barnet. So you can't say, oh, we've played no. Yes, we do. In response to the Arsenal. In response to the Arsenal stuff, we've got a way to Arsenal and Arsenal have a common way to us. Do you know what I mean? We've played. We've played Brighton. Dave played Brighton. Right. We've played. We've played Villa. Okay. Dave went. Dave went to Villa. Right. But at the end of the day, like, we're 12 games in. Liverpool have a tough running at the back end of it. But like people are saying, Angela, the handy one now to February, I don't actually agree with that. Because I think you can look at any game in the league and go, that could be a bit ropey, actually. They're doing this, they're doing that. And I include, I include there in the next couple, obviously, see, but then you go to Newcastle. Newcastle home a different animal to Newcastle away, always I've been since the dawn of time, right? But then the Everton, Everton are fucking deplorable. But it's the last ever derby, I go listen, you actually don't have to go and face Everton, Everton. Sorry, Arsenal away at Everton, it's not to compare to Liverpool or Everton. Let's say you control the sports thing at me. But when we go to Everton, it's a much bigger event than when you go there. Did you get me? And when we go to sports, it's as big as an event for them. Well, probably not as big, but it's a fucking massive game for sports. When they, when we turn up a their place, I understand Arsenal have played 12 games, but so have Liverpool. It's not like we're four games in here. And Arsenal have gone, oh, it's not like we're four games in and Arsenal have played Newcastle City, Village, Bose and Chelsea away. It's not how it works. They've also played Southampton at home. We've had to go away to them. They've played, they've played Brighton at home. So we, I think they've played Brighton at home. They've played Leicester at home and nearly fucked it up. We don't have them played Leicester yet. So we can't argue them. There's, there's so much going on. And, but I still understand where I see Arsenal fans and I'm telling you about that three years because it made me laugh. But I can see why they're doing that. Because any other situation, Arsenal fans are thinking, "Oh, it's going to be hard to catch them." And in fairness, it's Mansey and, you know, that's how they are. But Arsenal must have to be still looking at this gone. City are making a bollocks of this. And all the pressure is now on us to win it. After the last two seasons, four years of our tether, an FA cup to show over it, the money we've spent, they've literally topped out the fucking credit line at this stage. And we have to go on, win it. But if I'm sitting here a key, don't actually say anything to me. So, Liverpool just need to keep going and have a nice time about this. Because I think what we'll do, might undo Arsenal is actually Arsenal and the pressure they have on themselves. And the pressure key to just avoid it because even sitting nine points behind Liverpool, Arsenal should be expected to win this division. Yeah. I mean, Arsenal, not just their absolute WACWAL fans on knowing both the media and, you know, not, again, not just Arsenal media. The Guardian never's at this world who's an Arsenal fan now, all of a sudden, will tell you that Arsenal are a great team and that isn't that a, I still haven't won for God. Like, my kind of tethers don't know. It won't one FA cup. And that's it. And they go on, like that is this behind it. They're a good team. Don't get me wrong. They are a good team. But we look out there. How many wins you think Liverpool need? Or you'll overnail how many more wins go? How many wins you think of up on it? Twenty wins. Supposed to live up your love on 90 points, right? Twenty wins from the next. What's left? Twenty six games. Twenty six games. Liverpool win twenty them. It'll put them on 91 points. Yeah. Arsenal, I can get 91 points. Not a fucking chance. I think not a chance. Well, we've dropped five points. They've, they can max out 100 points right now. So they're on 22. They can max out 100. Like, they're not getting that. Do you know what I mean? So, Arsenal, all of you said this all along until Arsenal win the league, they're not going to be challengers. Like, they haven't challenged man city the last two years. It's been a cakewalk for city. You know what I mean? Like, Arsenal have not been, you know, we've seen the, the, the real challenges and you have to go into the 90s today. All right. You have to be getting into the 90 points. I know we got 89 points last season. It's, it's one off. You have to be hitting that 90 point mark. I know we don't think Arsenal are going to hit it. Do we think Liverpool will hit it? 20 wins. Yeah. I don't see why not do you know what I mean? I don't see why not. I think Liverpool are in a great position. And if Arsenal fans want to say it's a, I'm glad it's not see that we're chasing. I'm glad it's Liverpool. Liverpool are the unknown quantity and a moment even Liverpool fans, you know, who are skeptical about slot. We don't know what, you know, over a tortier game season. We don't know what, what why slots team will develop. We can only go off that 12 game sample. So it's on the Champions League and the Cubs. And I think Liverpool look a hard outfit to be. I think they look a difficult team to break down. You don't get many chances against them. And I think 20 games is very achievable for the 20 win, sorry, in 26 games is very achievable for Liverpool. They don't have to win 20 out 26. You can still get draws and still get to that 90 point mark. But the pressure on howling says there he feels is nowhere else to get to 90. They need, they need 68 points in 26 games, which is 22 wins, two laws and two losses. It's not happening. We don't think it's happening. And the team also add to what you just said there, Keith as well. We're now eight points ahead of my city, right? So not losing the run of myself. City would prefer Arsenal to be eight points ahead of them, then us 100%. Yeah, 100%. But I do, I do see him. I'll say it again. I can understand why Arsenal fans are trying to have this outlook because the pressure is on them. Yeah. Like, I don't know. And you know what? I'm not alien to the to the top of Arsenal fans believing that he can, you know, that he can pull that nine points back and win the toil because it's Liverpool there and it's not see that that that's a natural thing to do. I think it was the opposite way around when we began. We can catch that. But if that was see, you'd be kind of gone. No, no important to have them. I told her the way through the season, the chance that it's going to get bigger and not smaller. Do you know the start away? Yeah, but we have players that went through that dance with them. Yeah, yeah, we've done that dance. The dance we've done the season. The dance we've done with see, I don't think we're going on Mad Run in 21-22. But if you look at 18-19, that was just peddle to the fucking floor from day one and whoever came out, came out. Do you know the start away? Yeah, but we also won the Champions League and we're getting, you know, the year before, we're getting the Champions League finals. Like, well, Liverpool are paying them. We've done the heavy lifting over the season. Arsenal haven't done the heavy lifting and still haven't got over that line. I know we don't know where they get over that line because something Emmett said about Liverpool having the best squad even then see. Look at the attacking options. Shawnee Lawson said it in her chat earlier that, you know, now Sterling and now Marrez are recruiting yesterday. He said it. Now Marrez, now Sterling. The amount of goals that that loses, man. See, if you look at now, Savino and you look at Tokyo or Grealish, they don't give you numbers. So when that big weirdo, if he's not scoring all the time, there's not many goals coming from them there. And that's what that's killing them. And then they're conceding at a rate of lead, not to coil walker, or even on the verge of challenging him for race now, because he can't fucking run anymore. He is absolutely crazy, man. Yeah, he is stuck. And if he's watching or don't care, he is absolutely done as a as a pace merchant, which got him out so much trouble. I couldn't believe I couldn't believe he was the boy at team. I went here, you were in there and I'll chase. Yeah. And I went like team of owners, not great, but fuck me. Don't ask him for a full race because he's fucking rapid. Sam says soccer coming out and saying we'll win the lead this time shows a wagon that I will come from the air. Well, I think in the back, did soccer come out and say that? Well, there you go. See, he hasn't said that recently. I presume he said that at the start of the season. They're very fragile, hadn't he? Arsenal, they're bleeding, the emotional wrecks. You'd hate to be in the trenches with them. Hey, I'll be interested. I'll be interested to see though. I think they've West Ham next weekend away, but not so much away games. I'll be interested to see what happens if they go one little down at the Emirates in the very near future. Just to see what reaction comes out with the crowd, do they back them and go, no, come on, we can deal with this artist this fucking just absolutely 60,000 meltdown right in front of the ROS. Oh, 100%. Do you know what I asked him? I was like, does anyone want to join the celebrity game? Yeah, we're here. Probably not. On in the chat, yes, Moi, the fella on there called Dane McCulloch, right? And he's an ordinary Irish fella. And he's dealing all the all the trials, right? And he quit on the other day because he was filling the box, he was in up with sand. And I was up to his nails. And he said, I'm a celebrity, get me out here and I won't go believe it. And he goes back and he says, you know, we're trying to convince you that although doing these challenges cause the public think we can deal with this, this is our arsenal. Do you know what I mean? They tell you how great they are. But at the same time, that's I know a celebrity get me out here when the sand gets up to our fucking nails. Or we don't think they have the minerals, but don't need to have the balls that they don't want to tell them what I was. Well, now I changed me. I'm not I'm not going to flood. I'm never going to argue with the position never put it in. I think it's a fantastic position. I think I think there's a huge opportunity next week to I think to put seat to bed, to be fair. I think even go 11 clear to see the way they are at the moment, the way they are at the moment, I just think they'll just go you know what? Let's just molt around here at 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 points a game or whatever it is we get top four and we concentrate on everything on the European Cup getting players back and whatever it is. Arsenal for me, I've said it all the time that you always feel like they're on a fucking tight rope all the time. You're always on the edge. It's a razor's edge at all the time. And it could go bad on one game from and then it'll be a knock on for a couple of games and that'll put them to bed. But Liverpool just have to go and Liverpool just have to go and keep doing the business. And look, it's a massive game next weekend. It's not going to be easy. Anything but I always say if you get through that, if you're taking a little blocks, if you get through that, you bounce into Newcastle and Everton away. If you go and take six points off them, you're kind of going last. We're 15 in here now. We're very close to halfway in and we're at least, we'll be at least nine points clear, at least you know, and that's what Liverpool have to keep doing. But I do go back to something Kev said during the week where he went, listen, roadblocks are going to come. Little bumps in the road are going to come and tell you respond to them. And if you're drawing a game and it goes, if you lose a game and it goes to six, you just make sure the next change in that is seven or nine. And it's not, you know, three or four, whatever it might be, our four, whatever it might be. That's where Liverpool have to keep going. And there will be points we go, fuck, we lost that game. They're going to be there until six and you know, you start doing all the maths. I still think we've put ourselves into a position where when these road bumps come, they're not as impactful as though if you were four or five points behind them. You're building up this in ensure you'll get a little bit touchy if we have a couple of home games like Jeremy and they do start catching up on a sport. I don't think it's, I don't think it's, I don't think it's too early to start doing numbers in your head and where could you be at this plant stage and that stage. You know, like Liverpool have, you know, they have seed, they have, they have new castle away, everything away. And then, I can't remember what you have after that. I know it brings, does that bring us into, does that bring us into Southampton in the League of Cup? Yeah, I think it does. And then, you set Hampton away in the League of Cup and then we're into, I think there's a game on the 22nd and then we've Lester, and we've Lester at home on, on Stephen's days, like boxing days. We go away to sports in around that time as well. Sports on the 22nd of December, then Lester on Stephen's day. Yeah, we've got your own in between full on and everything as well. Yeah, so let's, let's start on sides. Even this guy was that the same as 1920? Yeah, we were away that day. Yeah, we're a home on this one. Well, look, it's more similarities. Oh, I don't think, I don't think it's too worthy to start doing numbers in your head, but little blocks of games, little blocks of games, tick them off. If you keep playing three games and taking seven points, three games and take nine, three games and take six, three games and take nine, you know, you keep touring them over that positive rate, you'll be, you'll be there there about, and I still think Liverpool should be gone. Listen, this is the great crack. This is the crack. Let's just keep going for it. Anyway, before we go, I'm not on the match. I never asked this. Emma. You'd have to give it to Salah, wouldn't you? No, two goals. You wanted to. Two goals. Yeah, I don't think there was any other real standouts from me. I thought, Gramberg, I thought I had a good game, midfield. I thought Gramberg was excellent. Yeah, so good. I thought he was brilliant. He's okay. He's on, but he's so good. Gramberg, now that you expect the problem. That's what I'm thinking. Is it because we've got so used to it? Yeah, because he was standing out like the head and shoulders above everybody else. Oh, Olympic, Olympic monkey says, and you never talked about Cara. Oh, yeah. Did you write it down? What did you write down? Did you write down a big load? Oh, now 34 minutes in, he was talking a lot to show you about Savasloy. Paul, what Cara has been, so I don't know if everybody knows this, right? So every international break, the same video of the same free kick goes around from Savasloy. Yeah, yeah. Somebody says Savasloy. Yeah, Paul, Cara as fell for a hook line and said, he's saying, geez, when he goes away on international duty, he seems to always be scarring free kicks. It's the same fucking free kick. Yeah, that's what I think I'm going to be against Germany or something from years ago. It's got a penalty. Yeah, he's got a penalty. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. In the last minute to draw the game, I thought Savasloy was going to. Yeah. No, but I just don't, I can't get, I just can't get on board with Neville and Cara being on, you know, and live a few games. Yeah. Stick somebody else in. There's plenty of co-cons on there. I draw, and it's going to sound awful. Like, some of the female ones I, I don't mind. Someone I'm actually talking awful, I sense, but I prefer female how I carry guard Neville. I listen to nothing on score. Male or female or anything in between. I listen to none of them. Because I listen to Jamie. I actually came across a library of Jamie Redknap. I think he was a, he was a part of my role today for, for if switch on, you know, the Annie's talking about Liverpool and then it's the Roy Kane and Roy Kane has to throw in the little bit of local injuries and stuff like that. And you're kind of going, why are we listening to these fucking idiots? Do you know what I mean? You see the video from my parents often. Yeah. But that's because it used to be the manager of Ipswich and that didn't end very well. That's, that's down. Anyway, um, man of the match for me was the big, um, striker of Southampton. That was 647. Yeah. And went off injured with zero contact. As Shawnee said, he was, he was flagging to come off before he even hit the ground and then they walk hardy in the mouth and then even needed a stretch. And then they walk hardy in the mouth again. I did see, I did see, I did see, uh, I did see, uh, I did see, um, I seen a clip from the Ampere rapper. I think Shawnee, what he showed me and Ben Johnson, the Ampere rapper, but it was just a big ghost to win and the bottom half of your man's body just stopped walking. So he went up. But I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I will give it a grab and break, grab and break out of everyone. When it wasn't great, I thought he was okay. And I thought, when we, when we were better, I thought he was heavily involved, but like you can give it the salad you wanted. Give it the salad. We won't fall out of it. Um, yeah. So that's, that's a bad way from us. If you are watching, I are listening. Um, we are walking on something new where, um, we're looking towards Liverpool podcasts, um, Liverpool bloggers, Liverpool Reuters, where everybody might be Liverpool centric. You know, I don't want to hear my, I don't give a fuck about Arizona fans or our CEO or anybody else. I want to think to Liverpool. I want to talk about Liverpool with people that cover Liverpool. So that is the podcast or it's a blogger or a lawyer. And if you are watching and you want to do it, um, drop as a message on the, on the new blues go eating and we're taking messages there are on Twitter. And if you are listening, are you think of anyone that you'd like to, although I think they, they cover Liverpool, I think they be good, send up hairs in the message, say, listen, that's coming up. Would you like to do it? Get in touch. That's what we're going to do. I'm not going to go start sending out invoits and shit like that. If you want to come on, come on, let us know. I mean, I organize something, but literally be an error of me talking to you about Liverpool. And so that sort of bill. I don't give a fuck about any other club, right? I don't want to know what national fans think of Liverpool. I don't care. It doesn't mean anything to me. And Shawnee does mention something here though, and Shawnee's not onto me because he's not well, but, um, uh, Ed Sheeran interrupted him real, I'm an Ammerlin post match interview. But I didn't see it, but what did you just come on and go? Let's not take over from here. But that talk of the Ammerlin, that talk of the Reuben Ammerlin, the four of them, the next thing the camera, the Ammerlin's looking down the thing, the camera, hands and Ed Sheeran's cosy, Dr. Jamie Redknapp. And there's like, what is going on here? Like it's, it's typical peak score. Isn't it like getting Ed Sheeran? Did I read somewhere that one sit on the fucking screen? You know, will it? Did I read somewhere that he's walking around with him? Like, if we trade and tops on him with ES on it, like his initials and on it. Like he's in the squad. Isn't he not? He's a, isn't he a big child? Yeah, but he's not in the squad. You know, I don't mean like you walking up the amphia next week with the, with the, with the train and dumpling cake. Yeah. And whistling, you know, unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable. And one quick question before we go, because I did keep this from very, very early on. Glenn Harrison says, God, will you stop with the fucking football talk? Marron Pong question, a star or an angel on the top of the Christmas tree? I have not known my name. No, it was not now. Well, that was hoyloated. Today was done. So there'll be sort more there. It will be an angel, I think. Do you think so? What's the, what do you think? I mean, it was an angel in my mum and dad's house when I was younger, it's a star in my current house. But again, I get very little info. I just get the shit down from the fucking Atlantic. I don't know what that was. What's the, what's the? Oh, boy. Charlie Larson said he's putting their cheering in the fantasy football. What do you have there, guys? We can't see. It's there. A traditional star man, or is the a shaker up like every year. Yeah, well, I was shaking up my way to fucking go on an angel. You failed this year. No, it's always been a star on the top of the day. Is it? Yeah. No, no, no real coming over them, which is my brother, starting at stay on it. They're always too fucking heavy. I always, I was over. John was his head chair and be walking out with the players holding the captain time. The head chairs, those make you laugh and envelope. And I always just a quick story on the star. I mean, when we, when we moved into this house, obviously, we moved out of our parents' houses and, and, you know, if you kill me for telling me this, telling me this, but anyway, she used to go back down to the mother's house at Christmas time brought to Christmas tree. Because apparently she's really got a pot of Christmas trees and decorating stuff. You know, yeah, that old chess. Are you all better than me? You all care? Come down. You're the best. Yeah. I used to bring her back. I used to bring her bag of cans down and just sit in the seat, you know, with the fire and a lot of having a few cans was the Christmas tree. So he put up the Christmas tree in the, in the, in the modern laws and they're just about done. And he had a star to one top of the tree. My wife takes a star putter on top of the tree. When she put on, she was like, Oh, that's not sitting straight. It's like the branches to 10. You know, to hold it. Yeah. And next thing he fucking goes in into the kitchen, he himself, this big mass of scissors right now. It was my, it was a scissors, but it was like a fucking share is right. And he stands up on this chair and he's, he grabs a hold of the tree. Right. By the way, he grabs it to shift falling out the tree. He's hanging over. Right. And he's trying to color with a big scissors. It's an artificial tree. Like, he's trying to cut this thing with the, with the scissors and the modern law comes through the door and she's showing out the tree. And he's like, Oh, I'm fucking the star won't stay on. And he's fucking banging away. Oh my God. There was more. But the time I was finished. Right. Half the top of the tree was gone. He ended up cutting it in there. So I fell out of the tree. There was bubbles everywhere. It was tinsel on the ground. The modern law was fucking having a breakdown. Father in law was just standing there going, well, I just thought I needed to be caught off fucking never again. So every time I do put it, every time I put the star on top of the tree, I always think of the line. Each way, the massacre. It's free. We're a scissor son. That's, that's how we do it. Why would it be an angel? Where does the angels come into it? We are Christmas. That's always weird because this is not the start of bed. I'm going to try as they go up the angel's hole to sit on the top of it. Yeah. Unless she's grabbing the tree in the headlock. Do you do? Do you do? Do you do the else? It's the worst thing that ever been made up for Christmas. Yeah. It's the pressure that goes on. So what happened there? I mean, my wife will come out and she'll say, you have to start. I looked on TikTok and I saw a good idea. I was maybe pulling forward a warning that you put earlier on about the attic. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This thing cancel. But you'll see one thing and then it'll be the binary or fucking loif for the next month. Yeah. And you can't just put the little fucker anywhere. No. It has to be played in like elaborate, like it's a people like. What's the, can I actually, without even thinking, when you're left to do that in the evening time, what's the first thing you think of the number? What's the first thing? No, like, when you think what are we doing with this fucking elf? The first thing you'll go for to grab and pull with the elf was a. I don't know. What are you thinking? It's 100% oil roll. Oh, yeah. The toilet roll. You just got a toilet roll and you fucking down the hall and you throw him on the ground. And the next round, the kids are like, Oh, look at the elf toy. Oh, he wants to be in the toilet roll. Have a seat. So just boy, I said, well, I was a toilet roll. I just put them around the cup. But spend the four nights. I will be played in boiling eggs and all this. You don't know, kinder eggs and and. And you ever see people on the go on the bar for their own, they put on the count and I made angels snow angels and I don't think, would you ever fuck off? The best one I ever did was it, there was a game called I think it's called scoillanders on the PlayStation. And you've the, there's this, there's like a little plint that you put the scoillanders on when you're using them in the game. And I got all the scoillanders and laid them all out on the floor. And I got the elf, put them on to that plate and got to wear the flex and toyed them to it. It was the best one I ever did. So it was like the scoillanders had kidnapped the elf and toyed them. The other times, I was like, walk up the stairs, right? Just roll the toilet all the other days. I'm fucked up halfway down. I just went to bed. Yeah. I mean, what do you think? How many times do you think they're going to fall? It was, it was the old one. It was the old one. It was the old one. It was the old one that was the word. We do we have the craft sealcases for the middle of shooting. I don't know if I can do it. He's like so mad on a pay shop. Make wings and art. Made in it. It's the worst part of Christmas. It's real and Christmas for everything. You know, walk along with yourself and say, God, your car is just about to destroy that tree. That's a dog. Oh, your boy, you want to hear me? You want to hear me. I said, where's my Christmas? There you go. Boy, oh, God, what do they want to have into this mess? Boy, you better go. That has been in the top of Sunday night. Yeah, that's been him. That's been God. That's been Keith. Thanks for being in the oven in the chat. Like, subscribe, comment, become a member, all that sort of mess. And we will talk to you all very soon. Oh, how we go before we go. I want to do one thing. I have to give a little shout out to me soon, Zach, right now we're kind of listening to this now because of what's proceeded at right now. I have to clip it. So, um, it's team one in the all oil and corporate in the football the weekend and there's loads of little Liverpool fans on the team. So, I want to show out to Zach to Mohiki, to Mason, to Ali, to Dan, to JD, and to Jayden, all playing all Liverpool fans. Hopefully none of them are listening to this ever. But if they do, just skip to what minute are we on here, Gav? One minute twenty-eight. One hour twenty-eight minutes, sorry. Listen, listen, fire is a shout out to Enlads. Ignore everything before I don't listen to Rappo. One hour twenty-eight. What's his name? Kick out, kick out, and send it on to them. Sorry, Celtic. Sorry, Celtic. Yeah, you are. They want to be there. I don't know what round it is in the SFAO, but they don't well, and they just have a little shout out. Because I'm trying to let them know that I'm a celebrity, but I don't want this artist to just come out and tell them, you know what I mean? I don't want to be going out and rattling cage is kind of farce myself. I'm looking at you. Show him, get out the side, Celtic, and Shiny says, and all the boys that don't believe in this empty any bar. Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely, boy. Yeah, if you don't believe, give me nothing there. You know what it is? Yeah, right. It's hard because it's an idea. I'll have an help. This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network.
