Don't Lose Your Focus - Part 3

(upbeat music) ♪ Come on holy gums ♪ (upbeat music) (singing in foreign language) ♪ Yes, move to night old gums ♪ ♪ Somebody lift your heads to heaven and tell 'em to move tonight ♪ ♪ Open the floodgates up here ♪ ♪ Spirit moves ♪ ♪ Move to night Jesus ♪ ♪ Move to night old God ♪ ♪ Open the floodgates up here ♪ ♪ Fireful ♪ ♪ Fireful ♪ ♪ Open the floodgates up here ♪ ♪ Fireful ♪ ♪ Fireful ♪ - Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray right now that as we prepare our hearts to go into the Word of God, minister to your people. We pray that not a single person here would lose their focus and miss out on what the Holy Ghost is doing in this time and in this season in our lives. Let the Word of God come alive, let impartation take place right now tonight in the lives and hearts and minds and spirits of your people. We pray for insight, we pray for revelation knowledge, we pray for great understanding. Take them into the depths of the Word of God and anchor them, cause this Word to help them to mature in their faith and in the things of God. In the name of Jesus Christ, somebody say, amen, can you type those words? Don't lose your focus, don't lose it. Don't lose your focus, amen? Don't lose your focus, I mean we on a journey. Praise God, thanks, Michaela. I said we are literally on a journey when we look at, when we look at the life of Elijah and his protege called Elisha that was following Elijah and being prepared to fill his shoes and come into a greater anointing and come into his own ministry. We see Elijah the prophet was led by the Holy Ghost and took Elisha on this journey and all of the places, all of the places that Elijah stopped, it had great significance, amen? I wanna bring you into the second Kings chapter two, beginning at verse six, the Bible says, and Elijah said unto him, "Tarry, I pray thee here." You notice how Elijah, have you seen how often Elijah gave Elisha the opportunity to turn back? I mean, you could almost feel like, man, are you trying to get rid of me Elijah? Like, what are you doing, man? Why are you offering me all of these opportunities to turn back and walk away from the ministry? I'll tell you what Elijah was led by the Spirit of God, he was testing Elisha to see how hungry he was, to see where his motive was. Listen, if you ain't hungry for the anointing and the power of God and the Word of God and the growth in your relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ, you ain't gonna stand the test of time. Come on, somebody, Lord, come on, you're following me. I said, you ain't gonna stand the test of time. And so every time Elijah put that scripture back, watch this, and Elijah said, "Tarry, I pray thee here." Just stay right there, Jericho, man. For the Lord has sent me to Jordan. Elijah said, "I'm moving on." And he said, Elisha said, "As the Lord liveeth, "and as thy soul liveeth, I will not leave thee," and they too went on. And you know, Jesus, Jesus actually came to that same place in his ministry and in his life with his disciples, in the book of John, chapter six, when they got offended at him, and they were angry with him because they misunderstood him. Who remember me, I preached that message probably about six, seven weeks ago. Don't miss your moment. Might have been two months, two and a half months ago. Don't miss your moment. They got offended at Jesus, and a whole lot of his disciples started walking away from him. And he turned to the 12th, and he said, "Aye, you gonna leave too." He said, "Are you gonna leave too?" The Apostle Peter, big mouth Peter. I like Peter, he just have a whole lot to say, you know. Peter just talking, I was thinking, Peter said, "But I gotta give Peter credit." Peter said, "To whom shall we go? "You got the words of eternal life. "I ain't going nowhere." And so Elijah was actually putting the ball in Elisha's court. The decision, the decision to continue following Elijah was Elisha's. No one could make that decision for Elisha. It's, can someone type this, it's a personal thing. It's personal. Look, only you can decide what you're gonna do. Glory to God. You got a decision. And listen, this is a constant decision. You are constantly making this decision to keep following the will of God for your life. And Elijah just kept on giving Elisha this chance and be, look, before long we will get into the 11 things that took place at the Jordan River, but we gotta work with the scriptures here. Let's move on down to verse seven. Verse seven says, "And 50 men of the sons of the prophets "went," this makes me laugh, "and 50 men "of the sons of the prophets. "They went and stood to view afar off." Lord, help me Jesus. And day two, stood by the Jordan. Wait a minute, this is 50 other men who would be mentored by Elijah the prophet. These are 50 men, and what did they do? They stood afar off. They could have been as close to Elijah as was Elisha. Come on, somebody, we are talking, this was a once in a lifetime moment, man. And what did they do? They stayed out of distance. They stayed out of, wait a minute, wait a minute, guys. You already discerned that Elijah is about to leave the scene. He is about to, he is about to, that mantle is about to be tossed. You know any second the Holy Ghost is gonna swipe him out of here, and you are standing afar off, man. He would have to look at me and say, "Man, can you back "up a little bit, bro?" I'm sorry, y'all. That's Pastor Sean's personality. I would have been between Elijah and Elisha. Elisha would have felt threatened. Come on, somebody, I can, I'm done, in the roses. That's who, that's just my personality. Pastor Amy can tell you, that's just how I am, glory to God. That's why I chased down those men of God for them to lay hands on me and bless my life. And ministry, I'm aggressive, I wanted the anointing, I realized these men are getting old. They're gonna leave the scene. That's why I ran, I W shot back down on one of Pastor Benny Henskrew's head and begged him to lay hands on me. That mighty man of God laid hands on me and blessed my life in ministry. I realized Reinhardt Bunkie would not always be here. So I chased him down. Come on, somebody. I, y'all still here, I realized Dr. T. L. Osborne who had these men, they saw people heal by the millions. Come on, somebody, I W shot my prayer for a woman. A woman whose left foot was amputated and within six months, the woman foot grew back on. Come on, somebody. That man was not gonna be here forever. Would have been Reinhardt Bunkie. A man in Africa had died four days and was in a coffin. They embalmed them differently, they just put the fluids in whatever. But his wife got a word from God. In the book of Hebrews 11, that women received their dad back to life. And that woman hooked up with the ushers and said, "No Reinhardt Bunkie's preaching the service tonight. Can I bring my dad husband in his coffin and put him down here in the bunker? We got the video. Me and Pastor Amy have the video, the raw video. One of these days, I'm gonna have a personal, private, partner, prayer meeting and let all of y'all watch that video. The dead man in his white suit and a coffin. And Reinhardt Bunkie didn't even know it. And Bunkie is just being Bunkie, standing there preaching in this African church packed with thousands of people and the fire out of us. Can someone say the fire, the fire, the fire, the fire? Can someone say the fire begin to fall in their place? Glory to God. My God, watch this, hold up, hold up. The fire begin to fall in their place and the usher. Thank God he was in this, the usher was watching the coffin down inside the bunker and the man's stomach begin moving. Lord, how mercy are y'all still here? I watched the video, the dead man's stomach started moving and when the usher realized this man is coming back alive, the usher laid hands on him and begin to massage the man's body and after about two to three hours, the dead man who was in his suit ready for burial got up out of the coffin. Somebody shout, "Hey, I feel the Holy Ghost." Is there anything too hard for God? I got to preach, I feel the money. My God, can somebody open your mouth and say, "Don't lose your focus." Somebody else may get mad and cope, but don't lose your focus. Any day now, the real power of the Holy Ghost can come into your life. That's why all hell is precludes to get you distracted, to get you discouraged, but the opposite part said, "This one thing I do, "I'm gonna press towards the mark "of the high calling of God, "which is in Christ Jesus. "Don't lose your focus. "You're almost there. "Shout, yes. "I feel the Holy Ghost. "I feel the Holy Ghost. "Don't lose. "Don't lose. "Don't lose. "Help me preach, Josh. "Don't lose. "Don't lose. "Don't lose. "Genet in Canada. "Don't lose your focus. "Miss Donna in McKinney. "Don't lose your focus. "Don't know wherever you are. "Pound don't lose. "Neurizing India. "Don't lose your focus. "I got my eyes on the prize. "The devil is tired. "Everything in his power "to knock you off of focus. "To get you off the straight and narrow. "To get you off the right path. "But I hear the Holy Ghost telling me "to tell somebody you're almost there. "Your life is about to be changed. "Your life is about to turn completely around. "That's why all hell is after you. "After your focus, every distraction. "You can think about distractions "that you never dream possible. "Accusations that you never dream possible. "Friends that you never dream would turn on you. "My God, the devil himself. "He is using his best strategy to knock you, "to break you, to shake you, to discourage you. "But I gotta work. "Greater is he that's in you. "That he that's in the world. "If God be for you who can be against you, "don't lose your focus. "Somebody shout. "Don't lose, don't lose, don't lose. "Like a man, like a wasman on the wall. "With his binoculars, don't lose. "Your focus, you own your way. "My, did you hear me? "I said you are your way. "The door that you've been knocking on. "It's almost time for that door to fly wide open. "The thing you've been praying about it. "It's almost time for your prayer to be answered. "Don't lose, don't lose, don't lose. "Your focus, shout yes."
