And welcome back to another episode from PPN, where we bring you talk with interesting business people from all walks of life. I'm your host, John Starr. Up next, we are talking with Sierra Albert. Sierra is a personal development and motivational coach, the owner of Stepping Into My Purpose. Business, she is in Warren, Ohio. Welcome, Sierra, to the show. Hello, hello, how you doing today? I'm doing great, Sierra, and thank you so much for being here. So, wow, this sounds great. Stepping Into My Purpose, I love the name, it speaks personal development and motivation right there in the title. So, tell us all about your business, how you got started and all that you do. Basically, I'm a personal motivational coach. I help people find their aspiration of what they want to do in life, help them get steps, you know, the steps in of, you know, which steps to take and how to get there. What really made me start doing this was one day, I started a women's group that I run in Warren, Ohio, and I was trying to find my purpose of what I wanted to do. And I knew that I was great at giving people great advice and helping them, you know, take next steps into their life. So, I felt like that was, you know, part of my purpose. So, then I was like, well, you know what, I looked into, you know, some things and I thought about, you know, being a life coach and I went for it. And that's great. And, you know, that's oftentimes the story that I hear, it's, you know, it's something that you started out doing as a hobby. And you, you know, you discovered you were good at it. You were helping people find their purpose and you're like, hey, why should this be just a hobby? I should make this my career and, and really help as many people as I can. Yes, as many as possible because I understand the fact that, you know, having childhood tribulations and not knowing when to start and needing that motivation to go ahead and get out there and get it done. Do you, do you go out and do, you know, speaking, you know, like, I don't know, you know, do any lectures or, you know, do you mainly have your clients kind of come to you and you have personal sessions? We have personal session one on one sessions and then I also have group sessions to help people with different, different things that they need to find out, like resources, different places that they can get help out of, you know, if they want to figure out their needs. I personally can't help, you know, I'll find someone that can, you know, recommend to them for somebody that that can help, but no, I haven't did any personal speaking. Do you have a particular type of client who you either like to focus on or that you just find happens to gravitate towards you? No, I really don't. I really don't. It'd be all different types of people who gravitate towards me. It all depends on the conversation and where they're trying to be at. Would you like to share a story with us, perhaps? Maybe an example of a client who came to you. Just one that, you know, that you really, you cherish. I mean, somebody who maybe was really struggling in their lives and you were really able to help them turn around and find their purpose as you talk about. Yeah, I actually do have a story. I have a friend that I've been dealing with for about 15 years and she was having a little bit of a drug problems and, you know, I was kind of trying to help her out, trying to get her in a better whole, just think of her life in a whole different way, you know, find a different way to make her life feel fulfilling, why she would feel like when she was missing something. And it was just like, it's more of a personal story. So it's like it's kind of hard not to tell it because I want to say her name because I'm so proud for who she become and the steps that she has taken to overcome the things she's overcome. And to say where she's at, she's in a great place and a great head space and she's doing a lot better and she's taking care of herself. So yeah, that's about it. That's a great story. I mean, somebody who you were really able to reach out to and help and, you know, turn her life around and listen, that's what you found you're calling. That's why you do what you do. And in keeping with that, if there are more listeners out there and I'm sure there will be who would like to reach out to you to help them. How can they get in touch with you? You have good website or contact. Yes, I have a website. It's definitely your purpose. We at week site dot com, they can book appointment there or they can also email me at stepping into my purpose at gmail dot com. All right, fantastic. Well, Sierra, I really am so glad we had you today. I enjoy talking with you, hearing your story. I hope maybe you'll come back and talk with us again sometime. Of course. All right, in the meantime, best of luck with stepping into my purpose. It's a great service that you provide and we wish you the best going forward. Thank you so much and thank you for having me on here. Absolutely. You take care. You too. Bye bye. Bye bye. And to all our listeners, don't go away. We'll be right back after this short break.
