G'day, friends, it's Plistiguy. For Thursday, the 28th of November, this is just not right, how can it possibly be the 28th? It's episode 1391 of Waterwork Mobile Hearthstone podcast, the end of a social era. So this one, it's tangentially Hearthstone related. This is very much related to Hearthstone and me in a lot of ways, but not the current meta, for example, not the current expansion or the next one or anything like that. So it's a bit out of the box. I mentioned at the end of last episode that I would touch on this today, and I thought about this as a great topic ready to go that is basically going to be tomorrow's topic. Tomorrow's topic is going to be looking at some unusual off-meta decks that have cropped up that are actually still pretty good. I looked at Liverpool and Paladin last episode. This next episode tomorrow, I'm going to look at three different decks, so not really terribly in depth, but I'm going to touch on them and I'll provide deck codes and things. It's going to be pretty cool. But the topic I thought I was going to touch on today, the more I thought about it, the more I thought it was going to take like a whole 15 minutes, and that's a bit all the time I have to talk about any of this stuff anyway. I was like, "Oh, all right." So I'm tearing the Band-Aid off a little on this one. You'll have to forgive me if this ends up being a bit of a rant, but it might. You know, in the meme image and I took that personally, I think that's really going to ring true here. But basically, I've mentioned several times now that I'm going to stop posting about, well, not really about, I'm not going to stop posting each time there's an episode going live on Twitter on the Wall to Work HS Twitter account. You know, I'll have to get used to some kind of new rhythm for my sign-offs, but to the longest, you know what? In fact, I think what I'll do is I'll read, I'll read the tweets that I made on their account, which also the engagement on some of those tweets speaks volumes about why and how this is happening as well. But before we do that, we should think of the Patreon while I'm still in this channel. Last time we thanked Jeremy, very nice. Thank you, Jeremy. Today, oh, Torby Flanderson. Thank you to Torby Flanderson and all the other patrons who support the work we do here at Walk to Work Mobile House on podcast. Good one, Torby. You'll hear, you'll hear Torby's name across a lot of podcasts. Guys, very generous with this time and support. So, thank you to Torby and everyone else who does support this work, patreon.com/plisticeguide, if you can afford to support. Now, where are we? If I go over to this app here, which I now don't access nearly as much as I used to, I didn't admit. But that was before I'd this. Anyway, look at that. Okay, jobs like that tweet, nice. Jobs is a long time friend of mine. Used to be Joe Earnobbs, so J-O-I-N-O-R-E-B-S, which is in between jobs, which is like jobs being like jobs, in between jobs, you know. That was a funny username that he had on the Mrs. Boards that he and I and Ridiculous Head used to post on back in like the early 2000s. Jobs is a big-time streamer now. A stream club of Slather Squiner, stuff like that. When things like Twitch income leaks, I go, wow, jobs you really have made it. His income from Twitch alone is most definitely six figures and then some a year. So good on him. He wrote a book a year or two ago about streaming and his experiences, which is a really depressing read, I mean, in a good way, but also really highlights just how toxic this environment and that environment can be. Great guy has stayed with me numerous times while visiting New Zealand and Australia. He's actually technically born in New Zealand, but lives in the US. Anyway, lovely guy. Anyway, I made a tweet thread on the Walk to Work, a mobile classroom podcast, Twitter account. Now, this is a Twitter account that literally only basically ever posts when the episode goes live and the graphic that I do for each episode, which I'm still going to do the graphic saying. The graphic I do for each episode, I post that. And you know how at the end of each episode, I say, you know, follow Walk to Work, HS on Twitter, if you just want to find out when the episode goes live and send a deck in book code. Anyway, I made the following tweet thread. Let's read it out. And I don't have to do a funny voice for this because it's me. It's me talking to you. I've been creating this podcast for nearly nine years and I've posted on this account three times a week every week, each time I publish an episode. I'm hoping I can continue recording three episodes a week for the next nine years too. And then some, but today is the last time I tweeted. Now, there's more, but I just want to say, because I retweeted this on my main account, as I sometimes do with the podcast episodes, if I'm particularly proud of an episode of, oh, this is a good one. I was happy about this. And this tweet has had more engagement than any other of the podcast tweets that I've made for a very long time and possibly because of the tone, but also the Walk to Work, HS Twitter account has now picked up way more follows in the last few days than it has in months. Anyway, let's continue on. And this will all become clear why I'm talking about this in a moment. Anyway, next week, it's pretty clear things have gone downhill on the site over the last few years and quite acutely in the last few months. I've stubbornly held on and hoped that I could outlast him, but it's becoming increasingly clear that it's not really possible or even healthy, especially when they're doing stuff like this, actively stifling posts that include external links, which my thrice weekly tweet about my whole homegrown podcast episodes most certainly were. And here I'm quote, tweeting someone else who was quote tweeting, well, screenshots of tweets from Elon Musk. Anyway, their tweet says, Elon Musk effectively admits that posts with links are throttled. If you've been wondering why your posts with links to journalistic articles have been getting nearly the engagement, I haven't been getting nearly the engagement you expect. This is why I have less and less reason to be here. And so the post that they've screech over here, there's someone called Paul Graham going, this quantum fright, my friend, go, the deep prioritization, the deep prioritization of tweets with links in them is Twitter's biggest floor. It bothers me more than the new right wing trolls, trolls I'm used to. But what draws me to Twitter is to find out what's going on. And you can't do that without links. And then there's a response from Elon Musk himself. Now, just as an aside on this, it's very easy to blame him because he is very front facing. But blame him, I do, because, you know, he put himself out there and it's fine. He wasn't the only one who actually bought Twitter. He must did a whole bunch of different shadowy investors who I think are equally culpable in all of this. And also they had the same vested interest in fostering a right wing platform that helped get Trump to win another election and so on and so on. It's not the only reason he won, but kind of hurt. Anyway, sorry, Musk responds, just write a description in the main post and put a link in the reply. This just stops lazy linking. Now, I have so many problems with this one. As the original poster points out, deep prioritizing tweets with links in them is just silly. And clearly every post that I've made on the walk to work Twitter account has been deprioritized because the tweet is basically episode blah, blah, blah, in the title of it. And then the name of the deck that we're playing hashtag Hearthstone, you know, to help with that engagement. The link to the actual podcast hosting site we can download it, which is not really very necessary to be honest, but that's why I was putting it there. And then also the deck code we got to the point in these days where the deck code was in there as well. And then of course the graphic, which is not particularly fancy. And as a side, I was feeling a little guilty that I was not putting alt text on these graphics once I figured out that alt text was important, because I couldn't figure out what actually to write on it as well. It's a graphic that basically says everything that's in the tweet, such as what the deck is, the name of the episode, the episode number. And I guess a picture of a Hearthstone card, like, I guess I could have done it, but the fact that I was doing this three times a week and then going, oh, I should be doing alt text and I'm not. It's just extra work to be doing alt text. It was annoying me because it's not like I was like the people who need the alt text, people for whom, you know, vision is not the same as everyone else. So they use screen readers to describe what's on there who are like, what am I missing? There's a picture here and I don't know what it is. It's like, I promise you, there's nothing in this picture that you're missing. But anyway, so that's an aside. So those are the tweets I was making. It has a link and therefore it's getting deprioritized, which explains why I've had so little traction on them over the last few years, which I didn't mind. I still thought it was serving a purpose and people who followed the Twitter account would see it. I did notice sometimes, because what would happen is I'd switch back to my main Twitter account. And I'd be like, why am I not seeing the tweet? Oh, wait, no, there it is. It is there now. Okay, it is there now. And it wouldn't come up straight away. It's like, that's weird. I don't know what's going on there. Twitter actively throttling it is what was going on there. Anyway, the thing that bothers me the most A, not just about that is the fact that it does that. Clearly they've had to code this, but B, then Musk's response is just add the link in the reply. So you make the post you want to make. And then, and then I guess you add another reply to that and put the link in that and that won't be deprioritized. I'm not sure. I think it will, but I don't understand how the coding is that that is the workaround. Why would making a second tweet be the answer? That sounds like a clutch workaround to a badly programmed system. And the fact that he's out there saying, there's what you do. Like, it just gets around lazy link postings. Like, what was lazy about posting a link? There's nothing lazy about it. Anyway, it just lazy programming on his part. Anyway, anyway, so I've a lot of problems with that. Obviously, there's a lot more that goes wrong with Twitter and everything these days. But this was, this was quite a deal break for me once I realized and like had it confirmed that this is what was happening. The reason I was getting less engagement and suddenly it does, does have engagement there because these tweets don't have links in them. So people are seeing them even when I share them from my man accounts, I leave people sharing them. People are like, ah, I'll follow that Twitter account. I'm like, ah, you poor things. You didn't really read what I was posting, but also, ah, anyway, continue on. I, I respond in my thread further. And I understand their reasoning, which is that I should be posting my content directly to this site with my video content on @BlisterGuy. I was doing that until they started compressing the quality and limiting them to two minutes at most. But I still can't post my podcasts here. So let's just dig into that for a second. The early reveals I did for Hearthstone were posted directly to Twitter. And that was fine. In retrospect, obviously I should have been putting them on YouTube and I still need to go back and try and scrounge out the videos. Like the worst part is I have to subscribe to Twitter Premium to download the videos from my tweets, which I'm not so sure about. I think I can find a third party that might let me do that. I'm hoping, because I do not want to give them any money, as you'll see in a moment. And just so I can actually get them uploaded to YouTube. The problem is, of course, is these videos were large. And so once they were uploaded as a tweet, I didn't fail the need to keep them on my phone. So I don't actually have local copies of them. And I do definitely want to get them off there because otherwise they might end up lost before you know it. Anyway, ah, I was posting my videos on Twitter. So that is technically what they wanted. But after a while, because I wasn't subscribed to Twitter Premium, which was what whole Elon Musk's thing was, we can make more money by forcing people to pay for it. And they've been trying to, oh my gosh, have they? So then like the last one I think I uploaded directly to Twitter that, I think it was the Titans one or something, I don't remember, but it was like the quality was really garbage. Like the video looked good on my phone and everything. And then when I uploaded it to Twitter, it was like, wow, why is it all grainy and blurry? And what? And I uploaded it to YouTube. It was like, looks good here. I don't know. Anyway, did I upload to YouTube? Maybe didn't. It was another different one. I think it did. Anyway, it was, I was really a ghast at that quality. So I started moving to YouTube instead. And of course, when I was linking to the YouTube post of the reveals, less engagement, surprise, surprise, because I was posting a link to a video and Twitter was throttling it. Anyway, my last point in that last bit of the thread, but I can't post my podcasts on here. I can't. I literally can't. There is no option to upload a 30 or more minute audio file to Twitter and have people consume it that way, especially given people do consume it via podcast feeds. As an aside, if you have been waiting for me to tweet each episode, which I think at least one of you maybe has and following the link to the website to listen there, please consider a podcast app on your phone and listen to them that way and subscribe. It's probably the best way of moving forward. Anyway, I continue my thread. So I'm talking about they want me to subscribe so I can actually do the stuff anyway. And sure, I could pay money to be allowed to post longer and higher quality videos, but that would involve supporting a company that actively supports bad things and bad people. I didn't capitalize those and maybe I should have. And so no, I don't think I will. That's the, it's not to tip toe around it, must get actively supporting Trump and right wing people. Now, this has escalated a lot in the last year when Trump took over Twitter. He was busy saying, look, it's a town square. It needs to be a place of free speech. This is a big place where everyone is coming together to talk. And I remember at the time going, no, it isn't. No. And so like I've seen for years, people complaining about what they see on Twitter. There's so much right wing trolls and things like, well, I don't know, I've curated my feed enough that I never see any of that. And that's the thing. I think people like Musk think that Twitter is one thing when it's actually not. It's also many things to many people. And to the Hearthstone community in particular, especially if you'd managed to curate your feed effectively, you didn't see any of that other stuff. You just saw people posting their Hearthstone deck lists that they got legend with, that they got high legend with. Just the funny things they posted about memes about the stat and the other videos revealing Hearthstone cards. Anyway, that kind of stuff. And it worked for that. And it was working for that for a long time for me, even after Musk took over. But then gradually over the last couple of years, it got worse and worse. More and more ads were popping up on my feed. More and more ways were designed to stop me. Because I used to this thing where I just block every advertiser. I'm like, whoop, blocked that one. And I started to notice that the advertiser that I previously blocked would be popping up again. All right. So blocking them doesn't do anything. I'd start marking them as I'm not interested in this ad. Ah, that's just start showing up anyway. It would come up in the middle of the message. Thanks for your feedback. We'll use this to make your feed better. Don't think you are. In the last few months, in particular, the frequency of the ads coming up has been getting so high that it's just basically obnoxious. And I have unfollowed enough accounts over the time to try and keep my feed manageable on a day-to-day basis. And I find that most of the time I spend scrolling my Twitter feed is spent actively trying to block or mark ads that I'm not interested in. Because if it's a Twitter account with the ad, you can block it. I do that. But often it's just a link straight through to a website. So you can't do that. So I'd like not interested in that. And early on, that would make the ad disappear from my feed. Great. No, it doesn't. Not only that, the little three-dot button that you click on to do it, the really small, really small area space and what would happen when you click on that is you click on the ad anyway, clicking you open up in a browser. And like, and you just know that the advertisers are being charged for every time someone clicks through. So any time I even accidentally click on the ad, that advertiser is getting charged a little bit because I did. Like that feels gross. Something I noticed a long time ago was that what happens is that seeds adds through your feed. Like, let's say you open up your Twitter app and you're seeing the most recent tweet. And I guess what they're expecting is you're going to start scrolling back through the feed to get to where you used to be. They'll put a whole bunch of ads through there. Now, you probably won't necessarily see those unless you're scrolling back through it. But they're probably, I bet, charging their advertisers based on that. This, this, this feed was opened. Those, those ads were served. Sure, there wasn't click through. Like, I bet they get charged per impressions and then charge more for click throughs. So they were forcing extra click throughs. Then in the last month or so, I noticed even more that the ads would just start popping up randomly. Like, I'd be scrolling the feed. I'd be looking at this thing. I'd be reading a tweet. Let's say from friend of mine in New York, Louise, I can see his tweet. There it is. Oh, suddenly there's an ad in the place of it. His tweet has moved down. So if I was about to click on his tweet to look at the picture of him and his, his son's going to see an Iron Maiden concert, which is pretty cool if they do. Uh, nope. Next thing I've clicked on the ad again. And so there was just more and more intrusive and obnoxious ways the app was just monopolizing my time just trying to fend off the bots. Like a lot of replies to all the tweets, a lot of extra followers becoming were just adult entertainment bots, like spamming, just, it was getting nasty. And I, even though I was not seeing the right-wing stuff and the political stuff that people were talking about and complaining about, the little corner of Hearthstone is that I had in my Twitter spare was just getting obliterated by everything else. And so, you know, I had already started a blue sky count and I toyed with moving over there, but more and more, it makes more sense now. And more and more, especially knowing that the tweets about the podcast that I was making on the Waterwork HS Twitter account, I just intentionally being withheld from people. The more I was like, I have to be done with this for my own mental health. I haven't even talked about this yet, but like this is not the first time I've had to, I guess, well, not had to. Not the first time I've chosen to extract myself from a social media platform. I used to post on Facebook. Like that was like the first thing that I used to. I never really posted on MySpace or anything like that. But I had a Facebook account from 2006 or maybe, and I kind of stopped using it probably in 2013-14. I think it was when Mongoose was born, right? I'd like no, Twitter is more the place for me. And I stopped posting on there. I know like every now and again, I can look in Facebook and I can see friends of mine from my teenage years or early 20s still posting on there. I'm like, oh, I really should touch base as some of these people, because that's how it works. But I know that I have basically left behind Facebook. So I know I can leave behind Twitter as well. But of course, and this is where it's Hearthstone related, I built up a heck of a following on Twitter thanks to Hearthstone. I was creating Infographics back in the day, and that just suddenly got a lot of reach. Now websites like HS Replay and HS Guru and stuff like that have all kind of subsided what I was doing with those graphics. And I don't mind, that's fine, because they were hard work. But I got a big following from that. And then I started doing the Hearthstone reveals and things. And so the following has stayed for that kind of thing. And that's really cool. And so it feels bad to be, in a sense, leaving behind that to go somewhere else, worse than it did when I left behind Facebook, in a sense. But ownership management of Twitter has gotten to the point where they're basically forcing me off. I cannot deal with that. And I'm not paying money. Certainly not to people who are supporting what they support. And I don't want to dig too far into that. But if you want to look into it, you'll see that it is certainly not the town square that the owners purported it would be. It is absolutely a right-wing propaganda machine and continues to be so. This is the biggest thing that annoyed me. Someone had the @America Twitter account, right? Musk literally took that account from them, gave them @America456 or something. And then started using the @America Twitter account to promote Donald Trump. Now that seems very much like some kind of violation of election stuff. But anyway, I'm glad I'll go to that with my chest. And I'm pretty sure I could say a lot more about it. But I'm not going to, because we're passing the park and I should play some Hearthstone, because that's why we're here, right? But I'm not going to tweet every episode that goes live anymore. I am going to post every episode. Every episode is going up. Like, if you don't already subscribe and you'll podcast catch your choice and the episodes will turn up in your feed and you can listen to them. I'll still be here for you. You used to be here for me, I hope. But I'm not going to tweet about it every time. I am going to tweet from my @blisterguy account on Blue Sky every now and again. I'm probably going to do it Fortnite Leish. I'm just going to highlight an episode from that Fortnite that I like and go, hey, I was really proud of this one. I really liked the deck I played or really liked the top guy discussed, just to keep promoting the podcast. Because I think having two different accounts is just, I don't need it, right? Like, I get it, like, let's say coin-concedre, right? They have their own Blue Sky account and Twitter account for the podcast because it makes sense. There are three hosts on that show. Like, which one of them should be posting on their own? No, no, they have a joint account for it. But I am the only host of this podcast. It makes no sense for me to have a second account to promote it. And there are lots of different ways that I can backwards justify not having an account to, ah, for a buck. No more tweets for @walk2workHS. I'll figure out a new sign off rhythm, I'm sure. Now, I'm just unmuting my phone and I'm going to open Hearthstone. And I'm pretty sure I have not, I have not turned up the volume in game. It's been a while since I've forgotten to do that. But we know the rules, I have to pretend to be hard. Now, I've been saying for a while, I guess, while we're on Debbie down her topics, right? I've been saying for a while, though, I'm going to play Spaceship Rogue on the podcast. Anyway, I'm going to play Spaceship Rogue today. I have been playing Spaceship Rogue the last couple of days. I was like, Leopolden has done me well, but I need to try something else. I have not enjoyed Spaceship Rogue as much as I hoped I would. It's fine, and I've won some games with it. I've also lost some games, and I don't know, maybe it's because I've lost more games than I expected, but I'm not doing it, but it just doesn't feel as awesome as I was expecting, which is disappointing. And honestly, that's okay. There's still lots of other fun things I want to play, and maybe even just go back to Leopolden, like, I don't know. It's almost the end of the month. There's lots of things I can try, but I said I was going to try it today, so we are. Ah, yep. There we go. Turn up volume, whatever you are. All right, what are you doing? All right, mate. Bit of a heavy one today. That's my hard thing. All right, so we're playing Spaceship Rogue. The version I'm playing came from someone whose user account is called Homey was taken. I guess they wanted to be Homey, but Homey was taken by Sonja, so now they're called Homey was taken. I don't know. Anyway, are there a high-agent player? The general Spaceship version that's been floating around has casual mic creation, and a few other things in it. The version Homey is playing, I just had taslick and fan of knives to help some of the aggro matchups, and I'd say that would definitely help with things like elemental mage, which I've faced several times, and also beating several times as well, which I'm quite happy about. There are definitely some decks out there which are just bonkers, like real six-set meta stuff. And again, I'll probably talk about that tomorrow, I think. But for now, let's get in there. We unmuted the phone. No, we didn't turn the volume up on the phone. There we go. That's better. We're queuing up. That's better, Special Broker. I'm out. One, two, three, two legend. Now, this is plenty high, and, you know, still roughly where I came in at, however long ago that was, which means we have effectively been climbing. I was at a thousand, like, day or so ago. So, you know, I've fallen into a drink, and again, some of that is going to be that air quotes decay. Some of that is going to be just losing. I lost to, like, a control priest last night. It's just one of those things where you don't really stand a chance. If they're going to target you like that, then there's not much you can do about it. There are decks that can beat that. Anyway, where are we? Spaceship roads. Let's go. What we're looking for in our enemy hand is, I guess, Spaceship Enablers. The Spaceship schematic and the scrounging crewmate or whatever it is. Those seem like great ways to get things started. Knowing which... That's us. So, we had a lot of road match-ups, and a lot of them are playing, like, there's like an incendious draw road. I think I kind of want to play that. That's probably what this is, and I think they're probably favored against me, because basically, if we go out and pressure them enough, they will get a late game where they're just incendious to bits and all that things. Like, when they can play incendious and shadow-step, but now they have a four-minute incendious and play, then they can play Sonya, and a, uh, the buccanetamic incendious, one-minus, they can play a second incendious. Anyway, we have an opening hand with Shadow-step, dubious perches prep, and breakdance. Now, Shadow-step and breakdance can go, but prep dubious perches is pretty solid. It may not be the early curve we want, but we can just coin prep this on turn two to destroy whatever they play to and draw three cards if we want. That seems like a pretty nice way to start. And given our opponent as a rogue, it's entirely possible they would cheat out a big giant or something, and maybe you want to keep that. So, let's keep the prep and the dubious perches to see if that works for us. I can't really see what they kept. There's the cool people that I missed the mulligan, but what we got back was the sandbox scoundrel in a Shadow-step, so not particularly fast start, but also not so bad. Okay, first thing we drew, Arcolent Defense Crystal. I mean, we can dagger on two coin Arcolent Defense Crystal on three if we want. There's a casual might creation, so I'm guessing probably spaceship rogue and the version without statistics and stuff. We drew another Arcolent Defense Crystal. At the very least, we've got Arcolent Defense Crystal on three and four with the coin. That seems pretty solid. So, if we're looking to what to do today, turn two, I think it's time to prep Jews purchase. Even though it is only taking out a three-two, I think just drawing three cards seems so good here. There's a task lick, a test gray mane, and another task lick. I mean, I'll speak in particular, but three cards deeper is always good. Three mana for them, there's a metal detector. Metal detector no attack, that's okay. So, we're going to coin out Arcolent Defense Crystal because metal detectors are three-two weapons. If you kill it when you attack, you get to draw a card. That's not a draw card, get a coin. So, maybe it is kind of coin rogue. I don't know that metal detector is the kind of thing that rogue plays after casual might creation of the playing starship stuff. I'm certainly not playing it, but anyway, there's a prep. They're pointing something at the Arcolent Defense Crystal. It's our health drink. Health drink. So, I definitely got wall-op cures here. It's not spectral cutless rogue because they had the metal detector, but anyway, that got them killed with Defense Crystal and get a coin. Another playing Valorok Windblade, and Valorok Windblade has been transformed. So, the awkward thing here, of course, is that we just play it down with Defense Crystal this turn, then Valorok technically gets to attack again if there is something, you know, if we're not, we're not removing it. Anyway, we can technically remove it with like taslix, but that seems awkward. Ah, coin divine brew. Oh, no, prep divine brew? No, coin divine brew. So, the Valorok now has divine shield. Oh, and what's that? Where that comes from? So, Valorok created a silver serpent. The divine brew was created by the casual might creation. Okay. So, the serpent is just a two-three with poison. We're drawing a ship schematic. So, look, if we were to taslix the Valorok to take the shield off it, which doubles the damage that minions attacking this turn, and then do a second taslix, that kills the Valorok. And honestly, letting Valorok attack again seems pretty bad. So, we will do that. That's two of our four mana, which means the last mana could be spent on a starship schematic. Now, task schematic is the one thing on a hand that is unknowable. We don't know what's going to be in there, and we are going to play probably a sandbox scoundrel next turn, which is five mana giving us through. So, I think we start with a schematic just to see what we find. Valfire thrust is shattered turret, the heart of the legion. I like shattered turret a lot. It's a two-four with rush and winfury. But the good thing is you make your ship rush and winfury, which is really nice. The good thing here is that we can do this now. We can play it rush, and then we can use a taslix to actually take out the Valorok, and now we have the starship and play, which is nice. So, first we tag the Valorok, then we task the serpents, and then we winfury with our turret into Valorok, which will kill the Valorok, because they take four and six respectively. So, now the serpents got one health left, in case that matters. We could have tasked it to face for one, but I don't think that matters. There's treasure hunter Eudora. So, it's Tess burgle rogue, I think. They've attacked us down to 31. All right, Sonia. We've got five mana this time. We can play Sonia. I don't think we want to. I don't think we necessarily need to play Sonia this time. We can play sandbox scoundrel, and I mean, they have a two-one serpent that'll just trade into the sandbox scoundrel if they want. We could also task like that, but it's our second task that gone. Is that a problem? We can play, we can play Sonia task like on the serpent, and then shadow step on the Sonia. So, we have a Sonia back in hand. Not 100% sure that's the correct play here. Maybe the correct play here is just play the second alternate trans crystal and task that the serpent. We then, that's both tasks that's gone. We have a testing hand, and I think the shadow step works well with the test. All right. I think the defense crystal, task like the serpent. At the very least, now the Eudora, which is the 4.5, has to attack into the defense crystal, and the very least as well. We now have a starship, which is currently 5.8, and after this, it'll go to like an 8.12 with rush and win theory, and yeah, the dart throw kills the defense crystal fair enough. So, we're making a very big starship here. It could be bigger. ETC. What is ETC going to get them? Like, if I launch my rushy 20 starship here, how big is it going to be? 10 cost. It's made of two defense crystals and a rush win theory thing. It'll attack into both their minions. I could technically break dancers after I've launched it. I don't know that that seems right, but they have a 4.5 and a 4.4 in play. I mean, we get to take out both their minions. If the ETC for something that removes my starship, at least they'll have no minions in play, and I don't think they'll have anything that gains control on my starship. So, we're going to launch. It's two defense crystals and a turret, so it's an 8.12 with win theory and rush, takes out the Eudora, takes out the ETC. If they don't kill it, I have an 8.4 win theory. Come on, that's pretty good. We've got one mana left. We could break dance it, but I don't think I want to 10 mana, 8, 10 rush win theory thing in my hand. So, we'll just end the turn. We'll save these break dances for things like the test. Now, if we play test next to them, the only thing that's going to get us is the little turret, which is fine, but we have two break dances, so we could just have endless turrets. So, there's a divine brew on their face. All right, so they've still got one durability of the weapon, the mind metal detector. There's a wishing well. Of course, that's what we're doing. It's wishing well, Rogue, of course. They have five cards hand. One of them is going, that's turned into a legendary. There's a second coin. Two legendaries in the hand that cost one each now. One of them is Ranger Gilly, respectable. That completes their task for Eudora getting them something. Well, I've since I've seen wishing well, Rogue. Also, I've got a sneeze coming. And there's a product nine. So, that's just a 4/4. Gilly gives them a crock into it. Like, this could be worse. Stick up. Well, I think we definitely want to play the stick up this turn because, like, that's just going to make our testers better. We have tests in hand, a shadow step and two break dances. So, the better we can make a stick up this turn to make our test next turn and the turn after and the turn after. The only thing we really want to do is remove that wishing well now. So, stick up. That's one of our seven mana. Trolley problem, dehydrate, rehydrate, funny. I think we just take trolley problem, although that does not actually deal with the wishing well. But none of it does. We'll take the trolley problem. Now we're going to play sandbox scoundrel. Trolley problem. We could use a backstab here, so it's not backstab, a breakdance, which isn't the worst. It would take out the wishing well, but I think there had any more coins there would have done it. So, let's just take out the range of gilly. That leaves them with the wishing well and the four four. We pass the turn. In hand, we have shadow step, two breakdance, test, Sonia. That could be a thing. And a small sandbox scoundrel. There's a second metal detector. It's attacking into the sandbox scoundrel. That's going to give them another coin. Let's hope it's not like a death wave or something. Coin wishing well triggers. Skymother Eviana. I feel silly saying it, but just a five five will take it. And there's a four six island crockles. And they go face with their project nine, putting us to 41. All right. There's the Exeter, which isn't doing us much good right now, but once we start playing our test shenanigans over and over, we're going to have more and more turrets. So, the Exeter will actually kind of work out. So, eight mana this turn, I think it makes sense then we go test breakdance. It'll give us a six six with rush and also the two forward rush. Not spectacular, but it'll do. I'd also give us trolley problem, which is nice. That's too low. Hang on to the top itself. All right. All right. So, breakdance on the test. Purple card in here. We've got a lot of rush demands. So, take out that one. Two windfearing shots on this. Top up that much. Attack there. I guess we don't take it there. Let's still have a four four in the nine nine. Okay. Double tap. I got this there. Back into the game. That's good. I haven't just been processed. Book of the dead, getting simmed down from my stuff. dubious purchase. Let's destroy them to cars. This isn't killing me. I stuff this fine. No, I don't either. A seat, good. Okay. Let's hear it topping that. What's it playing? All right. Maestro. So, they did all that stuff. They played Maestro this turn, which means they have an old hero card in here. They serve a four, four, five, five, and they're a six, five player. And I'm on 25. We have an Exeter that can launch a single turret, which is not spectacular, but we can play test breakdowns again, which is my test shadow step. Velorok. I don't think we have anything that's going to transform Velorok and Hori. If we go... No, I'm just trying to figure out what I can do with the sandbox scoundrel that's useful. Nothing. I'm pretty sure we're just going test breakdarts again this turn. Wait, why is my test, my breakdarts? Why did I discard? Oh, the trolley, but I've just noticed the trolley problem is discarding cards. It discarded my breakdarts, and also last turn it discarded my shadow step, because the trolley problem did not start in my hand. I probably should have taken like the rehydrator or the dehydrator or something. Gosh, okay. Well, that's a problem. Okay. Well, we take out the six, five. We still have a three, three, and play. Oh, see, that's the thing. Try and top up the open card and playing. I didn't notice it. So I shouldn't have taken the trolley problem from the stick up, because each time test plays the trolley problem, because it didn't add to my hand this turn, it's been discarded card, and it's discarded my second breakdance, and my second for my shadow step. There's a flint firearm. This is now bad for us. We have a 6, 6, and a 3, 3, and play. Our spaceship is a 4, 8, double turret thing. So it's a 4, 8 with wind fury and rush. There's a drilly. Did drilly come from flint firearm? Yes, it did. We're on 25. They're on 23. They got a 4, 4, 5, 5, now are 2, 3, and a 4, 3. They're still going to be able to take to there. There's an escaping trogg, that's the tier one excavate. A lot of cards in hand. There's health drink number two on tests, and then the 4, 4 is trading into tests. They're face tanking the 3, 3 from the trolley problem to get them another coin. 10 cards in hand. Five vases from the aviana. Coin. In hand, having a sandbox scoundrel and a sauna, and nothing good to do with it, and a valor, nothing good to do with those, there's a thermal oracle, and I have no spells in hand. I think we have to exit out of this turn, and I think we have to exit out and just get Starship pieces back in the hand. It's not like we need the armor, or the damage is not going to do enough, so we're just going to exit out getting a couple of one amount of Starship pieces back in my hand. That one, obviously we're saving the ethereal oracle until we get a spell, and we're saving the valor until we get something from another class. Oh, here it is, shedded turret, now here's the thing from another class, which means we can sandbox scoundrel valor up if we want. Let's just play one shattered turret now, because we're going to sauna that next turn, and then we can just dagger up, I guess. So what are we attacking into? I guess the, none of that makes sense. I guess we're shading the turret for one of the two threes. No, we're damaging one of the two threes, and then trading into the aviana, face tanking down the two threes, it's narrow to one. Now we attack into the drilly, and into the air vowels, so the air vowels did. So they only have a two three in play, they have ten cards in hand, they're over drawing a Joymaster Jupilo, gosh that would have been a source of value if they could ever empty the hand, which I don't think they could. We have a 6/8 X today, we have a Starship, which is just a 2/4 turret, we have another turret in hand, our valorock has now transformed, so we can play valorock next turn, maybe get a 4 mana spell, that'll cost one, then play sauna, and get a copy of the extra spell that we got from valorock, or we can get a 7 mana spell, and we can use the scoundrel to make it less, you know, there's a couple of tricks here, and we can get another copy of the turret from sauna, so we've got some tricks, and if we have a spell we could play Ethereum Scoundrel, but anyway, they have a lot of stuff in hand, there's a steel-hide mole, that's the tier three treasure, we still don't know what the tier two treasure is, there's another drilly, the kid, created by Flunkify, and so they discovered drilly, the kid, and then a second drilly, the kid, or is it the same one, no he didn't bounce it, we killed it, and there's a greedy partner giving them another coin, now they're playing prep, oh yeah, it's the last of the health drinks I'm guessing, on the Exidar healing them up to 26, Exidar down to a 6/5, and their trogg is going face to put me to 16, Sandbox Scoundrel, not a spell, okay, so valorok first means that valorok has to attack into the steel-hide mole, and it's going to die, and we don't have, we do have a way around it, so Exidar into it first, shattered turret, no we need to play the Sonja first, oh this is getting dicey, now we play the turret, so we get an extra turret, turret attacks into the mole, then the mole is reborn, turret attacks into the mole again, we have a zero amount of shattered turret and hand, it's nice, we play valorok, it attacks into, let's say the the trogg, gives us spell, four minus spell, but there's a headless horseman, it's pretty nice actually, so the other one's a star shooter and a jungle jammer, they will, I mean we get extra copies of those, maybe that is nice, jungle jammer has cost, well all right, we get star shooters, arcane shot, okay, so we have a couple copies there, so now we have a weapon, that we play, we get an extra copy there, thanks to Sonja, we attack into their 2-3 with it, because it's an arcane shot, we may as well play that arcane shot, because that will give us another arcane shot, now we play the second turret, we probably should have done this a little differently, that's all right, the turret attacks into the drilly, second arcane shot takes out the drilly, we still have a Sonja in play, and a valorok can play, the valorok has one health, and they're a rogue, so it's not going to last, they're on 26, we're on 14, we have a 6-2 Exidar, a 3-1 Valorok, and a 3-3 Sonja in hand, we have a 0 mana star shooter, which is a 2-3 weapon after you hear her attacks, get an arcane shot, we have a sandbox scandal, there's a Rekana the elements, which is the old hero that they got from Maester, this is going to choose the end thing, which is a 6 damage to an enemy hero, ouch, that puts me to 8, and then teal 2 damage to all enemy minions, that kills Maester and the valorok, does not kill the Sonja though, but we're on 8, there's a greedy partner, all right, so we're clearly going to attack with the weapon, get an arcane shot, and use it on the ethereal oracle draw some card, hard blossom, but that kills my Sonja, could have been worse, I mean could have been better I guess, we would have gotten lots of arcane shots, but that's all right, there's a scrounging shipwright, let's start with the ethereal oracle first, how many cards do this in the deck I live in, that's not so bad, we're going to face with our weapon, because I don't think it takes taking a 4-5, we're on 8, seems good, arcane shot, we're going to do 3 damage to this here, 4-5, that draws us a shadow step, nice, and a fan of knives, excellent, we get to finish the 4-2, we don't have to launch our single, that's a 6-12 spaceship, that's pretty good actually, let's have a look what's in the scrounging ship right now, a soulbound spire, that's nice, and we can't play the soulbound spire and the fan of knives, unless we use this here, sandbox scoundrel, so sandbox scoundrel gets out the soulbound spire, fan of knives should have happened first probably, 9 cards left in the deck, so I don't, it doesn't have a fan of knives, I don't think we're shadow stepping the Oracle to draw extra cards, I think we are shadow stepping the scrounging ship right though, because really what we want to find is like the life steal treasure thing, and let's just replay it now, their hero power is, oh it's 6 damage to the enemy hero, oh well we're dead, I should have looked at what their hero power was, it's 6 damage to the enemy hero and I'm on 8, oh no, so I'm not dead, I'm on 2, that's why I didn't want to face tank their 4-3, great, so their hero powering me down to 2, they're a good 8-man left, oh what are they pointing at my face, they're coining, they're coining one of disintegration signs of destroy all enemy minions, okay, and then oh manager on my face, well all right, all right, fine, so could I have won this, I mean yes, they're doing the same sort of thing we are, which is like burgundy shenanigans road stuff, houses of star ships, where we came undone that game and we could have won if we had not made the mistake, I think, was picking trolley problem from the sticker, because trolley problem being pre-played with the test took away my second breakdowns in my shadow step and I thought that was going to give me a lot of value over the coming turns, if I had been able to play test breakdowns, test breakdowns, test shadow step, we just would have got a lot of value going, now admittedly it's not as crazy good if there's not trolley problem in it and it's only the turrets, but like we had a 6-12 spaceship there, now the spaceship, like when I'm low on health, is not really going to help us if they have a brookan who can sometimes random up his 6 damage to the enemy hero hero power, these things happen, but I don't know, I think if we hit like rehydrate and dehydrate with the other stick-up options, one of them is deal 4 damage to a minion with lifesteal, that'll clearly gain us a lot, but if we're playing test, it might hit our own minions, which means it could hit our turret, which means it does nothing, I guess contributes to the spaceship I guess, but it hits the test and then if we break down to the test it's not a 6-6 with rush, so it would have to be rehydrate, which is heal and refresh to mana crystals, which is good but also doesn't impact the board, but it may heal us, it probably won't, so I can see why I took the trolley problem, but trolley problem discarding all those key cards, and I had a lot of key cards in my hand, that's a bit of a shame, still it was pretty cool, that was a pretty cool game with spaceship bro, even if we did lose to a burgle rogue, which again, sometimes that's just how that goes, and I do think I could have played it better clearly, but finding that I had not topped up my transit card and having to do that in the middle of the game, that was a little bit awkward, including using my phone to pay in the middle of the turn, that's all right, it's pretty funny, I trained just turned up and left again, so we'll have to wait for the next one, I am sweating profusely up here, it is so hot these last few days and so muggy, it's not summer yet in Australia, but I don't know, long-term listeners will probably say, you say this every year in November, my wife wants out, November is often pretty warm, I should have known, but anyway it's time to sign off, so we gotta figure this out, right, this is easy, the first part, follow me out, no it's not, because it's Twitch Twitter and YouTube, but it's not really Twitter, you can follow my main account on Twitter, it's still there, like there are some Twitter accounts that post-decklists that I still find very useful, and I'm still gonna have to use it for that, I'm just scrolling past the ads now, I'm not bounding to a mute or unfollow or block or mark them and not interested, I'm not doing it anymore, there's just too many of them, too much of my time on the feed is spent interacting with the ads and I should just ignore them and scroll past them, which makes it harder to see the things I want, but anyway, this is just one of those things where Twitter was this giant thing and we're now in a post-Twitter world in a sense where everything is decentralized again and fragmented and I just have to cope with that and deal with that, I'm sure as you can tell that this is not an easy thing for me and not a thing that makes me happy, so which is why I'm going to talk about various decks tomorrow, that do make me happy, these are decks that I've barely played and I've just seen, but just seeing them alone makes me happy, it's not like I'm looking forward to that, that's going to be nice and of course I'll probably play one a little tomorrow, that should be fun too, which one I'll play, I don't know, I will see tomorrow, we'll see how my mood takes me, it's almost the end of the month too, and I guess I'm still technically in 11 times territory and instead, while I could probably jeopardize that if I want to do, we should see, anyway, follow me on Twitch and YouTube @blisterguy, and also on Blue Sky, but it's not just the app list again, but I'm sure if you search for a blister guy, you'll find me, plus if you come to Discord and ask for a link, I'll share as well, Discord.me/blisterguy is the best place to get a hold of me and if you just want to chat and hang out, that is really the best time to have a conversation with me, no other platform really does that as well as that, there's a train here, I'm getting another one, it is always a pleasure to have you join me for my walk to work, even if I am being a bit of a Debbie Downer, I'm sorry, and sorry to any Debbie's out there, because why should your name be associated with bigger Downer, I'm sure you're quite nice, I've known plenty of nice Debbie's in my time, mind me to tell a story about the Debbie, one time I wasn't Debbie, it was Penny who cut her finger off, and I then also, it almost cut my finger off, anyway whoops, another tour of another time, good luck everyone, and everything you do, because you're absolutely bloody legends, and I love you all, because of the train, yeah I need to get over it.
