and all right everybody welcome back to the state records podcast of your first time listening to show for a long time listen or welcome back to America's fastest growing you're welcome we're giving you two big Tuesday editions to listen to as you're making all of your holiday travels consequently if you listen to this episode first just press pause and we'll see you in a little bit go back and check out the first edition of our two big Tuesday shows here today that was episode 397 which featured incoming Alaska Congressman Nick Baguiche and the president of the conservative caucus Jim Paff we also talked about Donald Trump rounding out and completing his nominations for his official cabinet starting in January we talked about some of those to take a look at some of the polling numbers that came out over the weekend as well and how it's looking like America is ready to make America great again we're going to be jumping into this episode of the podcast I'm Ro Noah's here with me I like Nick McGitch that's it's a name that sounds like a nickname and his first name is Nick so there you go um no he's going to do a great job you know out of all the things we talked about if you haven't heard the interview yet you're going to go back and check it out right now was obviously everybody campaign on the economy in the border but all the things that Alaska has to offer whether it's the amount of food that is produced there when you're talking about the fishing and the crabbing and all the deep sea work that goes on with regard to feeding the country you also have to think about the energy and natural resources you talked about the rare earth minerals that are in the state of Alaska obviously all the oil that's been undrilled there and then the immense amount of timber that we could use here in the mainland United States as well so great interview with him really looking forward to him being a regular contributor monthly here on the show and getting things started in this episode talk about our interviews California congressman Kevin Kylie will be joining us at the end of this new segment and we'll round out today's second podcast with incoming Arizona congressman someone who's very closely aligned to President Trump the America first movement he's going to be representing Arizona up in Congress come January January and that's a bomb a day so lots of news going on outside of the transition team I've noticed over the past couple weeks Joe Biden is really doing his best job to cement his legacy as the worst president in the history of the United States whether it's reports of the ridiculous amount of illegals who are just streaming into the country right now especially children who are coming in without parents we're going to be talking right now about the narrative that's been going around surrounding the nation of Ukraine and it's a forever war taking place with Russia now you know it's very untraditional for outgoing presidents in the lame duck hours leading up to the time that he leads office and to ramp up any kind of global conflict going on especially one that were as indirectly directly involved in as with the war between Ukraine and Russia now just last week it was announced that Joe Biden had green light at the use of US long range weaponry to target targets inside of Russia something that hadn't happened for the now over a thousand days at this conflict that got on for now there's reports coming out of the Department of Defense people that are secretly blowing the whistle on what's going on with Joe Biden and his about face on many policies right now that the United States might be prepared to give Ukraine back some of its nuclear weapons that were taken following the fall of the Iron Curtain and the Soviet Union NOAA that probably seems like it's the fastest way to resolve the issue between these two warring nations what do you think that would be detrimental to well I don't know the left's biggest bug a boo the environment to temperature wise followed by a very long period of cold if that's allowed to take place we also know that President Trump has been critical in the usage of such language we all can remember here uses the N work all the time that's a no no you're not supposed to do that he uses it on a daily basis and now it seems like Joe Biden really is using the N word on a daily basis it's pretty crazy to see you know the way that this is kind of unfolding with the leaks that have come out of the Department of Defense and then within the military apparatus I did a side note I just saw the cracker of the day was announced Noah from Antonio Brown's official account hashtag CT ESPN is it me close and we are holding out for it here on the show it was a video that was quote posted from I believe it was inside edition showing young Baron Trump using his mother's Slavic accent when he was a kid talking about getting his briefcase ready to go to school so congratulations to Baron Trump again cracker of the day via Antonio Brown beginning into the news here and what Joe Biden's doing concerning Ukraine there's also been a big pushback from Congress obviously the resolution failed in the Senate due to the current majority but they're looking to forgive the entire over a quarter of a trillion dollars not in the form of credit of debt to Ukraine following the war and again the way we've looked at it here the only way that we get a W out of this is immediately following the end of hostilities between the two countries the United States needs to get as close to 100% of the rebuilding contracts as possible they also need access to some of the wheat production there or at least the money that comes from it much in the form of we did in the Middle East regarding oil and then it needs to end with us having access you'll hear a number thrown out there but I'll give you the more accurate one following the clip but before we do let's hear incoming Trump appointee Florida Congressman Mike Waltz talking about what's going on exactly right now in Ukraine let's check this out and finally the President President Biden also seemed to reverse one of his own policies this week when he authorized Ukraine to use anti personnel landmines in the ongoing ground war he is getting fiery fierce pushback now from human rights groups these landmines are now going to lie and wait to kill and maim civilians for years to come take a look at this from Amnesty International one of their top officials says it is devastating and frankly shocking the President Biden made such a consequential and dangerous decision just before his public service legacy is sealed for the history books what do you think well these mines are the type that you can turn on turn off their smart minds but at the same time it does it is a step towards somewhat solidifying the lines and we also needed to stop Russian gains so there's a number of factors involved there but again one side escalating the other side escalating this needs to be within a broader framework to end this conflict this is Jillian it is just an absolute meat grinder of people and personnel it is more like world for one for the military warfare President Trump is incredibly concerned about the carnage that is taking place there and again how do we restore deterrence and how do we bring peace we met with the European NATO Secretary General the Europeans will clearly be a key part of that all of our allies and partners need to be carrying this burden going forward and of course our energy policy will be a key component with Governor Bergram and his National Energy Council and how the United States is blessed with as the President said with oil and gas that we can be using not only to our economic advantage here at home but as a leader around the free world you know it's really interesting there are also and the reports are still kind of unverified but believe it or not Noah you will believe this apparently Ukraine is using the money that the United States is giving it to purchase oil and liquid natural gas from proxy countries who are buying it from Russia it makes perfect sense you think Russia will give them the credit? Oh god that's incoming NSA Director Mike Waltz the soon to be former Florida Congressman for someone to tell it like it is and outside of Tim Walts he is the original Mr. Garrison of I guess American politics "Sizzer me timbers" No one does it better than creepy Lindsey Graham he was on the Sunday morning news circuit this week and what he was talking about was the actual dollars and cents believe it or not this war is all about not saying this is about stopping Russia not saying that this is about preserving the sovereignty of Ukraine whether the historically blurred boundaries that they have which makes up their country following the fall of the Soviet Union going back nearly a thousand years means anything but no it's about just exactly how much money is involved in this and the quarter of a trillion dollars that we've already wasted into the conflict is mere pennies compared to the trillions of dollars that we could have moving forward into this Ukraine is still standing this war is about money people don't talk much about it but you know the richest country in all of Europe for rare earth minerals is Ukraine two to seven trillion dollars worth of minerals that are rare earth minerals very relevant to the 21st century Ukraine is ready to do a deal with us not the Russians so it's in our interest to make sure that Russia doesn't take over the place it's the bread basket of really the developing world 50% of all the food going to Africa comes out of Ukraine we can make money and have an economic relationship with Ukraine to be very beneficial to us with peace so Donald Trump is going to do a deal to get our money back to enrich ourselves with rare earth minerals a good deal for Ukraine and us and he's going to bring peace and Biden's been a disaster when it comes to containing bad guys so here's the thing he says the honest line there that this war is about money and not giving up much more territory to Russia you know but no going back to that first clip and with Mike Walts there you know I saw some citizen journalist video out of Ukraine about how these land mines and claymores are being used I saw one instance where this team was walking in there with some of these remote land mines on the ground right and I guess you could turn them off with a transponder or whatever what happens if the people that are holding the transponder get blown up I don't know if you could still turn them off remotely after that I think the Benny Hill music plays yeah it certainly does but I mean I even saw one where they went into this bombed out building and they walk in the building and they turn around and on the back of the door there was a piece of wood sticking out that somebody nailed into it with a land mine sitting vertically on it and then there was duct tape over it so it wouldn't fall down or fall off the door but if you swung the door open in an attempt to clear it it would go off I also saw a whole bunch of claymores that were put on the sides of roads on top of like blown out light posts or construction cones with like trip wire that was like neck or vehicle high going across the streets as well but this is some of the stuff you know you want to talk about the things that Joe Biden's allowing to happen now it's like okay land mines whatever it's going to make the place unhappable or they're going to have to go in with these mines sweeping teams following the conflict this also goes into the whole reconstruction thing and the fact that it looks like Joe Biden is putting up even more hurdles for Donald Trump to go in there early and start getting these rebuilding contracts because of the clearing out of things like remote land mines and claymores that are going to need to be cleared you know following the ceasing of hostilities what do you think? yeah it's just everything just needs to stop everybody needs to just like press pause and go do I really want to do this and what is going to be the effect of what we're doing I'm starting to sound like Kamala Harris oh no but like you want us to be unburdened by what might be yeah I mean you want to be unburdened by your life but and the ability to fucking stay alive but just think about where this is going to lead this war unless it gets fueled to the point where we actually have a hot war where they're sending these what is it the missile that they sent an intercontinental missile and like until we start lobbing those things back and forth at each other if it gets to that point then it's too far gone yeah but if you but but really they just need to give up while they're ahead right now because I think Ukraine is actually lost area because they've continued rather than seeding the areas that were really just the only things that were contested yeah Russia has had to push forward because Ukraine continues to push them back now again the sovereignty of one nations is neither here nor there for us to argue about but it's when the hostilities could have ended that Ukraine still continues to make losses on and again it's losses on its own country but at the end of the day Russia's going to get something you know they're not coming into this conflict and spending over a thousand days on it the you know billions of dollars and massive amounts of troops and weaponry that they've lost to get nothing it's not like they're rolling back into Russia and saying okay we'll try again next week president they're going to be some historical boundaries redrawn here or or maybe re-establish back to the way they were at different times but for every day that Ukraine continues to try and push forward they're actually getting pushed back into themselves now it's starting to sound like a gay porn but I mean I'm just here for the magic show but you know and Noah you made a really good point everything just needs to stop and without even knowing the next clip that I've pulled here's Joe Rogan yesterday talking about how you know the conclusion to Joe Biden's presidency especially in these lame duck days couldn't be a bigger fuck you to America and Donald Trump than the one he's given right now check this out the world we're living in now and that's LA and that's New York and that's a lot of places that got fucked up by incompetent people I don't know I just feel safer going like post my go for all cheers I feel safer knowing that Trump is in office I do too I think feel great about it like I just like when I don't feel safer is right now they're launching people's into Russia how do you how are you allowed to do that when you're on the way out like the people don't want you be there anymore this should be like some sort of like a pause for like significant actions that could potentially start World War III maybe that would be a good thing that we would like to avoid from a dying former president the whole thing is nuts I mean look I don't know what shit about politics Zelensky says Putin is terrified fuck you man fuck you people you fucking people are about to start World War III yeah it's crazy the Russia fired a missile today yeah they fired an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time ever it's the first time one of those has ever been used that's a sanity because those intercontinental ballistic missiles can have nukes on them this wasn't didn't but if it does the whole world changes and it changes because the military industrial complex and it changes because the money that's going to Ukraine and it changes because the outgoing president or whoever the fuck is actually running the countries decided to do something fucking insane fucking insane and we're all sitting there watching it and people cheering it on CNN was saying like finally see what what their headline was about Zelensky using about Biden giving Zelensky the ability to use long range missiles US made long range it's not like nobody knows where they came from it's not like nobody knows we've been funding this it's a proxy war the whole thing is fucking insane it's insane come to the negotiation table sit down work this out stop killing everybody US allows Ukraine to use long range missiles so what did they say someone had said that like CNN was saying that it was a good thing which I think is how how has the left gone so far crazy that they think it's a good thing to launch missiles and we'll leave it at that he would go on for another several minutes really trying to hit this point home but the thing is no it sounds like you know your mindset is in the same of Joe Rogans who you know apparently or supposedly is dialed into the actual pulse of the way America is feeling with a lot of the commentary that he produces and that you know heading into the holiday season here and with the changing administration now I believe just in 57 days the last thing we want to see is a conflict that Donald Trump has campaigned on for years is being able to end immediately to get ramped up to the point of no return much is the point that we tried to make in opening up the show today what do you think well when you see what they're doing and Joe Rogan hits it hits the nail in the head that I mean he doesn't specifically say it but they would rather burn everything down then let Trump have a successful presidency and the only thing that they care about is the long game where they're the long game with having all these people get input into the into the populace of the country so they get senate seats and congressional seats and the the census and all that stuff it's just wild but they were literally will cause war because a it benefits all their military industrial complex asshole friends and be it'll be something they say well Trump said he was gonna do this on day one and he wasn't able to do anything it's you know where the promises made promises kept haha you know but we're gonna fucking die like it's not worth it like this is the last ditch effort because I mean if you think about it we got four years of Trump now hopefully if he actually makes it in and most likely Republicans are gonna win again the next four years unless we do something ridiculously stupid but that could conceivably be 12 years of Republicans being in charge and sanity in this country yeah yeah it's a huge and I mean outside of the things that everyone's expecting Donald Trump to work on like foreign policy like the economy like the border like deportations there are a lot of other things that go into that equation Noah that I just have to bring up you know Donald Trump's gonna oversee so many different things there are the course of his very short time in office one term four years and the first thing that he looks to be addressing this is not being talked about widely but we will have the item of federal elections addressed whether it's voter ID whether it's in person day one or drastically reduced times leading up to the elections that you could vote that is something that he has pledged to work on he's also gonna oversee an Olympics here in the United States not only that but a world cup as well he has the 250th birthday of the United States coming in his second year in office and in addition to that you had mentioned it Noah I think it's very important it comes into saving all things having to do with the House of Representatives and maintaining that majority moving forward it's the 2026 census that's coming down the pike I mean there are there are 11 house seats by the time that Donald Trump you know leaves office that could be turned completely blue based off of the unconstitutional way that the census was given out during the covid pandemic and that was to include illegals because you didn't ask a citizenship question now is everybody going to be honest on it no but could those numbers be drastically reduced I mean again we're going into our second straight session of Congress right now where we're going to have a one two three less than five seat lead in the Republican majority if you just give because of prior census data 11 seats over to the Democrats that spells the end to Republicans probably ever winning back unless there are major moves out of some of these blue states into reds which could eventually happen but makes it a lot harder for Republicans to gain House of Representatives in election cycles moving forward so yeah pretty big commentary there from Joe Rogan and before we get into what Joe Biden's been working on besides ramping up World War 3 over the course of the last couple weeks guys wherever you're listening to the show today thanks for joining us on the second of two big Tuesday editions pre-Thanksgiving editions of the show do us a favor whether it's on Apple Spotify iHeart Samsung Amazon podcast or wherever you're listening to the show make sure you're subscribed make sure that we're downloading to your electronic device and make sure you're sharing steak for breakfast with your friends family co-workers and loved ones in addition check us out on social media twitter getter true social instagram and tiktok is where we have accounts find them follow them hit the notification bell you'll never miss out on all the great stuff we've got going on here like our incoming interview with California House Representative Kevin Kylie on the show so Joe Biden was who is at some dinner honoring his end of presidency and lame ducadness earlier this week a tuxedo affair and even though he spoke for under four minutes I was able to put together a couple clips where he actually did sound coherent-ish remember he's a lot more smiley since Donald Trump won the election even though the back room dealings that we're hearing about or discussing on the show this week kind of show you guys otherwise here's him talking about the direct opposite of what we opened up the show with and what Joe Rogan was just opining on that he's left the country in a lot better shape than it was when he found it I always believed about public service especially the presidency is the importance of asking ourselves have we left the country in better shape than we found it (applause) Don't applause for that because you haven't those are all the Democrat super donors he's blowing his nose right now tonight I can say with all my heart the answer to that question is resounding yes because of you (laughter) it's ridiculous I guess he is talking about the billionaire Democrat donors (sigh) do you hear about Kamala Harris saying that you need to keep that back burner on because due to resupholing what shows she's leaps and bounds above everybody else that they could see potentially running in the next presidential election cycle that's Tim Walts Pritzker, Newsome, Whitmer you got Pocahontas amongst others Pete Buttigieg that she's leaving the door open to the possibility of another run to which we say please do not like she used to say please don't in regards to our foreign allies but yeah I think you know when Hillary Clinton lost it was the greatest loss in the history of losses it was a preservation of a glass ceiling which Donald Trump has done twice now a task that I think he was given by God himself to do you know she was softly let down with podcast with book deals you know this that and the other thing appointed to prominent positions within these private entities to bring in salary and things of that nature I honestly think Kamala Harris even thinking that she belongs in the narrative of ever running for anything again including president is a way especially with her being 20 billion dollars in the hole right now is a way to just kind of fundraise and kind of grift off that we'll see her riding off into the sunset I really hope she doesn't run for governor in California because she probably could win it in 2026 I just don't know if she wants the responsibility of being thrown back into the spotlight because she looked just like it made her skin crawl for the entirety of the very brief 150-dayish presidential cycle that she was tossed into following the events of removing Joe Biden back in July you know and and when you talk about oh did you see that uh speaking of oh sizzer me timber Caitlyn Jenner is thinking about running for the governor here in California good old Bruce I'm okay with it Bruce V Harris Harry Bruce mmm buckle up buckaroos what I mean what Jenner's politics haven't been awful right no she completely lines up with Donald Trump and a lot of different things including all of the transgender stuff which means no women in men's sports and no bathrooms and locker rooms for all but it's outside of the progressive issues to having to do with the border and the economy she also she's a major Fox News contributor they bring her in like him or in once a week god I see me calling him her but you know to kind of contribute and she's always been a really good I mean Bruce Jenner and Donald Trump are friends and I'm sure in some aspects they remain it seems like they have a pretty strong relationship I wouldn't necessarily hate it but for as much as California has moved to the right over the course the last three four election cycles and we're gonna touch on that with Kevin Kylie in just a few minutes right now is that really the best we could do California I mean probably not but I feel like putting somebody like that in such a position of visibility I mean California has had kind of a joke of a run with you know Schwarzenegger and whoever else even though Schwarzenegger was supposedly Republican Cherry Brown 2.0 and yeah between just imagine being somebody that's in a niche group of I mean mental illness that is way off the beaten path but then being hated by your own people in your little niche group because you don't you don't fit into the molds of there are no molds yeah you do make a point there and for as much as I hit the point did it make sense yeah no it did I completely understand it's what they did the Tulsi Gabbard minus you know her Annie Penis to the repertoire where Caitlyn Jenner has deleted one you know but we'll have to see and hopefully at something I mean Gavin Newsom's out in 2026 so we'll have to see what you know who we're never getting a Kevin Falconer or somebody like that in California who was you know not the most conservative person in the world but was a really good mayor for a long time down here in Southern California and really when you talk about the crime the homeless the drugs they were so much less prevalent when he was the mayor down here and we really saw things like education focused on the military focused on actually getting this part of Southern California cleaned up focused on and I know he's run for larger offices it's just that those kind of politics they don't resonate in the same way true republicans out here in California yet we'll have to see where that goes speaking of serving and you know Joe Biden in closing out his remarks talks about the honor of his life that it's been serving as president and before we get into pardons believe it or not not for Hunter Biden but for two turkeys let's hear him wrap up this event here serving as President of the United States has been the honor of my life people all our time and officers coming to an end are causing doors that's because this is the journey of America America the America of our dreams is calling us to stay engaged to never give up to keep going to keep the faith I know I will I know you will just remember who in God's name we are with the United States of America and there's nothing nothing beyond our capacity when we do it together God bless you all and may God protect our troops please enjoy the dinner thank you thank you not going to miss that as I see a sleepy Joe right before he departs for Delaware probably the car is running on the street outside of the White House right now delivering remarks on the incoming then Yahoo backed Hezbollah deal for a ceasefire so if you're wondering what that means Joe Biden is essentially making credit for something that probably Donald Trump worked out behind the scenes and will be the last remarks he makes outside of the Thanksgiving holiday but didn't come after he made some remarks yesterday at the White House no one did see the turkey pardons oh yeah that's ridiculous one of my favorites pardoning a turkey Donald Trump putting the chocolate bar on Halloween on top of the inflatable minion kid's head which when he turned around to see where his candy went fell right into his sister's basket is one of my favorites also Melania Trump and what she does for the White House Christmas you can't even talk about the absolute majesty and welcome me in the holidays as you would when she put her special touch on that I'm really looking forward to that again but one of the funniest things that my son reminded me of yesterday in the car because I saw the clip come online and I want to see if I should pull it for the show in regards to the turkey pardons my son goes like this dad remember when Donald Trump with a turkey stay in his hotel the day before they got parted and I put it into the search browser and you can go and fight it dude Donald Trump lit two turkey stay in his DC hotel and they shit all over the bed and he let them stay in the room the night before they got parted so I just he probably he probably bought them fucking room service too and caviar and shit and in returning to really embracing the holidays which I'm trying to do in the best capacity possible because we still aren't back in the Trump era yet that we could my son made me have a big smile yesterday after listening to sleepy Joe pardon the two turkeys let's check it out hey P can blossom well join the free birds in the United States of America man born this past July at the Zimmerman family farm raised by the yeah I hear you he wants to speak a little bit here they speak his language family with the help of neighboring children neighborhood children who help the turkey get ready for this very moment according to experts which weighs 41 pounds and loves eat hot dish and teeter chives teeter chives and cross-country skis you know dreams to see but his the real dream he has to see the northern lights I'm told he lives by the bottom the motto keep calm I think the northern lights is what Joe smoked right before he went out there meanwhile blossom weighs 40 pounds loves these cheese curves and watch boxing dreams of a visit to visit each one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes lives by the motto no foul play just Minnesota nice they just finished today road trip from Minnesota to Washington's by the way you have chairs sit down I forgot yet chairs I'm sorry start thinking about the arduous trip they made you guys are still standing that's just 1,100 miles take 16.5 hours through it all they stayed calm they gobbled on and still gobbled they were stayed nice listening to their favorite music but your prayer includes the song "Living on a Prayer" well fellas your prayers gonna be answering today based on your temperament and commitment to being productive members of society I hereby pardon peach and blossom I ain't gonna miss that you know it's funny on all the progressive news outlets and while this event was going on they kept cutting away from Joe Biden and talking about what they could be working on behind the scenes in regards to pardoning Hunter Biden as part of some mercy and we just can't explain Noah what do you think is it gonna happen specifically what is he gonna pardon Hunter or do you think Donald Trump's gonna be the sensible one Joe Biden's gonna roll the craps and see if Donald Trump is really done with the law fair for both sides of the aisle and an extension of an olive branch maybe pardon Hunter to kind of and it won't work but show the deep state and the administrative state and the democrats that you know this has gone outside of the normal bounds we need to bring it back to a place kind of normalcy I mean I honestly think Hunter Biden needs to beat that on his own and he would set a huge precedent for not incriminating yourself on a government form but at the same time Biden said he wasn't going to pardon him and I don't know if Trump's gonna roll out that kind of olive branch to the Biden family yeah it's in there I don't think they should anybody should pardon him I think I don't either but the only thing the absolute piece of shit and needs to get whatever he's got coming to him here's the only thing that kind of moves the needle for me how vicious was the 2016 presidential election cycle what was one of the main chance that the crowds would do whenever Hillary Clinton's name came up yeah and what did Donald Trump say quickly after he got into the White House and actually talked to people what that would look like for the country even though he's had to endure everything in worst that he could have thrown at her I don't want to do it it doesn't look good for the country it's the former president's wife and this is going to be the former president's son and for as much as I'd like to see Hunter Biden thrown in one of the deepest darkest dungeons available and at our services and the key thrown away I still think that there's a little part of me that thinks that Donald Trump might move to kind of clear them of that so they could focus on maybe going after the people that had pushed Joe Biden to go after Donald Trump for the last four years and those are the real people that have gone outside of the Constitution and probably in some instances broke the law last clip I've gotten this new segment and it was after kind of a you know an up and down day we're talking about cabinet picks we're talking about nominations we're talking about senators who are on board and not we're talking about the war in Ukraine ramping up we're talking about Joe Biden doing crazy ass shit in the last days before he's out of office and essentially a lame duck president we're talking about him rambling through the turkey pardons Donald Trump I guess had felt and listen his social media has been ramped down to just about zero outside of nominating the people online and putting out congratulatory posts with a little bit of bio or sharing some articles which showed favorable poll numbers or positive articles regarding the election or the transition well I apparently he had had enough and one of the ways that he could kind of start the pot a little bit geopolitically came across the wire late last evening let's check this out Trump transition is going on in the meantime the president-elect is weighing in on what's going to happen on January 20th just moments ago on a truth social the president-elect wrote this as everyone is aware thousands of people are pouring through Mexico and Canada bringing crime and drugs at levels never seen before right now a caravan is coming from Mexico composed of thousands of people seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently open border on January 20th as one of many my many first executive orders I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States and its ridiculous open borders this tariff will remain in effect until such time as drugs in particular fentanyl and all the illegal aliens stop this invasion of our country both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right in power to easily solve this long simmering problem we hereby demand that they use this power until such time they do it is time for them to pay a very big price he went on to add that he is also adding 10% to all products from China if they don't stop sending fentanyl and products drug products through Mexico that is in addition to the tariffs already on China so there was that Donald Trump is craving a little bit of attention he got it here's the official true social post following up to the one that Brett Bear read on Fox News last night in regards to China I've had many talks with China about the massive amounts of drugs in particular fentanyl being sent into the United States but to no avail representatives of China told me that they would institute their maximum penalty that of death for any drug dealers caught doing this but unfortunately they never followed through and the drugs continue to pour into our country mostly through Mexico at levels never seen before until such time that they stop we will be charging China an additional 10% tariff above any additional tariffs on all of their many products coming into the United States of America thank you for both your time and attention to this manner MAGA so when Joe Biden wants to whisk the winds of geopolitical discourse in one way and inches ever closer to a nuclear Holocaust in Eastern Europe Donald Trump is doing his best job to use his power and influence to bring an end to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah and on the border with Lebanon and rein in Mexico Canada and China on what they have done with the illegal immigrants and the drugs especially over the course of the past four years know what you think yeah but I love these people that are complaining about these potential tariffs and stuff like that when they're like oh that's gonna cause everything to go up and price and blah blah blah well a lot of the times these tariffs were were brought up and never actually happened because the people that were the target of the tariffs got in line in order to avoid having the fucking tariffs and that's the whole point and even if they do try to play chicken and Trump has to actually do it it's fucking worth it if the tariffs were so bad and they weren't bringing in billions and hundreds of billions of dollars in this country why did Joe Biden and Kamala Harris allow like nearly 80% of the ones that Donald Trump implemented and let's just say nations like China to stand for the last four years because they work because it works and it's a benefit to the country yeah it certainly is and honestly they're getting off way too fucking easy because the fact of the matter is that a lot of our politicians are beholden to to China and and all these other countries and the cartels in Mexico like I mean the cartels in Mexico run their government and they've bled their way into the United States and there's people that are captured in our in our government as well I'm sure no it's the truth and we'll have to see moving forward if this is gonna be moving the needle you know Mexico's incoming government was just sworn in on last week Friday she took the reins and and now this is one some of the first piece of international business she has coming across her desk now so we'll leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with Kevin Kiley but before we do let's have another check in with one of our partners this episode of the podcast is brought to you as always by man rubs rubs barbecue tools blow torches t-shirts coffee cups and all around barbecue related gear for you to make barbecue great again can you found it man rubs.com on Instagram man rubs use it goes steak 15 to 15 percent off your order alright joining us next on the show today this big Tuesday edition of the state breakfast podcast he's the congressman who represents California's third congressional district of course we're talking about the one and only Kevin Kiley welcome back to the show great to be with you thank you great to have you back sir listen before we get into any of the issues or things we'd like to talk about today we are on the three week you know heels of a very historic election in this country not only was it one where we've seen Donald Trump you know have a huge electoral victory win the popular vote in the United States here but it was one that allowed for House Republicans to retain the majority flip the Senate back into Republican control and kind of streamline the agenda which America sent a referendum to the Democrats on back on election day three weeks ago just a little back in commentary on how this race ended you know locally down in your district and then nationally with the way you've seen so many different people I mean obviously congressman you've seen the polls over the last couple weeks historical demographics moving to the right traditionally blue cities move into the right people who have never participated in elections either first time voters voters who were you know not participating in elections prior or people who had switched parties coming in to this election cycle moving over to the right and it kind of sent a big message that America is tired of being lied to and seems to give you guys a pretty big mandate that is landed right near laps yeah absolutely and you know in my race they targeted my seat from the very beginning the Democrats did and they even had a Gavin Newsom staffer that was recruited to run against me who spent millions and millions of dollars at the end of the day we ended up winning by about 11 percent and in fact across California you actually saw huge gains for Republicans relative to previous cycles we flipped seats in the legislature for the first time in a decade so Republicans won a seat in the estate assembly that Joe Biden carried by 19 points in 2020 we also passed an initiative to make crime illegal again to actually restore consequences for criminal activity Newsom and the super majority fought against it tooth and nail and yet it passed with almost 70 percent of the vote so in what is you know traditionally considered a blue state like California to see those sort of you know reversals is very significant and it is emblematic of what you're seeing across the country where you're seeing you know folks saying enough is enough and saying we need a new trajectory as a country and so I think the first hundred days when we get back in January are going to be absolutely critical these are going to be a momentous this is going to be a momentous period in our country's history and it's going to be imperative that we move quickly to turn the tide to reverse the trajectory that Biden and Harris had had us on for the last four years and so we have some great tools at our disposal to do that we have the budget reconciliation process we have a number of bills that passed in this Congress but where they were killed by the Senate and Biden like the lower energy costs act the secure the border act uh and uh you know the parents bill of rights the protect girls and sports act a number of others that are off the shelf ready to go that we could pass and then finally we have what's called the congressional review act where we can fast track the disapproval the reversal of damaging Biden administration regulations so there's going to be a lot to do uh but we're going to hit the ground running no you guys certainly seem to do so and before we get into preview the 119th which i do want to do and i've seen speaker johnson talk extensively about reconciliation we've had several congressmen come in through the last two or three weeks that have been talking about it as well uh you got to start off in the state of california now listen the house majority is going to be either the same or maybe a seat more than it was in the last session of congress there were seats that were up for you know an under attack throughout the course of this election cycle you had named your district other ones that i could think of obviously several in texas anapolian alunas in florida scott perry's up in pennsylvania which everybody had to kind of circle the wagons there in the last weeks leading up to the election as well the open seat in in elasco which we had uh you know we'll be joining up with the congressman elect there today on the show when the democrats went all in but their messaging was so off do you think that's what led to a lot of the house seats being able to be retained or in some instances flipped and then you would mention california and some of the inroads we made there the historical map that's been circulating in the new cycle and online shows such a big trend of moving to the right over 40 percent voted republican in this election do you think that the golden state might be on track to uh kind of understanding what the rest of the country is waking up to right now and in elections moving forward could even continue to move that way as well uh yes i do i think that california is on a path back to sanity when you look at the prime initiative that i mentioned uh that passed with nearly 70 of a vote despite the unified opposition of new sum uh and the ruling democrat uh political class uh when you look at district attorneys that were recalled and ousted from office like george gaskon uh in this election in fact when you look at voter registration in california republicans have improved their position five straight cycles after decades of decline so there really is uh something going on in california uh where i think we have an opportunity to restore some common sense and more generally you know you ask uh whether uh you know the election results show the failure of the of the democrats messaging i think it's not just a failure of messaging it's a failure of results when you look at the last four years of the biden harris administration or you look at the uh abysmal results of gavin newson and the super majority in california yeah people have seen and experienced firsthand in their daily lives the uh terrible consequences of this far left agenda that's been foisted in our state and increasingly the country when it comes to out of control inflation when it comes to the uh you know unlivable uh cost of living when it comes to the crisis at the border when it comes to rise in crime uh in cities across california uh and across the country when it comes to the decay of basic infrastructure and the mounting piles uh of debt uh and the weakness that was conveyed on the foreign stage all of these are results the people have actually seen with their own eyes and i think that this was a change election so now it's incumbent upon us uh who have been trusted with positions of responsibility uh to make that change happen no there's an excellent points there you make especially about california which i see trending in the same direction as well and now wrapping up this session of congress uh congress when you know leadership in the battle over that doesn't really seem like something that's going to affect you know donald trump was in a town a couple weeks ago the day he met with joe biden he stopped by the house republican conference and addressed you guys kind of a congratulatory of being able to retain the house also thanking you guys for the hard work everyone did at the end of his election cycle but it seems like you know what the mandate that's been given and the support that's been given to speaker johnson obviously at least the phonics going to be moving on to be the u_n_ ambassador but at least a mclain is elevated in house leadership erin houchin's going to come in as the house secretary not too much changes uh moving forward and it looks like when everybody kind of understands the the way the leadership uh you know totem pole goes up in the house of representatives you guys seem pretty good headed into the end of this session to hit the ground running at the start of 119th i agree and i think that even though it's a narrow majority having the house or the senate and the white house on our side makes all the difference because i think would a lot of the you know sort of internal uh dissension that we experienced this term it wasn't always a difference in viewpoint as far as what's best for the country it was a difference um in opinion as to what was possible given the constraints that we were operating under and now those constraints have been significantly changed and so i think that uh we'll all be able to align a lot more around our shared vision for moving the country forward now when you see some of the things looking to be tackled in the start of the 119th obviously border security and the economy are going to be one two you also talked about deregulatory which is an absolutely critical component of everything having to do with manufacturing effects the job market all the way up to the energy industry as well what are some of the other things house republicans are going to be looking at there was a lot of bills that were passed in the house of representative that Chuck Schumer tabled and a lot of things that you guys are going to be looking to revisit what are some of the ones that you're going to be focused on to start 119th well bales that we can just take off the shelf and pass again that Schumer you know left in his desk drawer are things like the lower energy boss act American energy independence to secure the border act obviously president trump's going to take a number of executive actions but we want to actually put those in law as well so a future president couldn't reverse them you know you have things like the protect girls and sports act that's your parents bill of rights there's a whole host of bills that are significant pieces of legislation that we'll have ready to go and I think that the deregulatory aspect of it is key as well that's where the congressional review act comes in we can fast-track disapproval of Biden era regulations and we need to be looking at every possible lever we can to ignite economic growth and launch what can I believe be a new unprecedented previously unimaginable era of American prosperity I think we have that opportunity in front of us we have so much runway and so I think that as again those 100 first 100 days that's really we're going to be the rubber with the road and we're going to need to hit the ground running well that's it right there and then when you talk about some of those people that are going to help grease the gears and that's what some of president trump's cabinet selections I mean bessin at the treasury looks like a slam dunk EPA is going to be headed by former congressman lee zeldin uh someone I'm sure you're familiar with who's going to be working on all that deregulatory stuff it just seems like there's a lot of smart picks going into this administration not just the generic cookie cutter conservatives who are going to go in there and do the absolute minimum there are some game changers and kind of wrecking ball type mentalities that are going in there and at this point and after having you know america experience what it's usually like in california uh with gavon Newsom and having joe biden and kamala harris being controlled for the last four years it seems like you're going to need those kind of uh people who go in there and be like generational cabinet picks that are going to really reset the president on what's important and what's been mandated by the american electorate that's right i think that's exactly the the goal and in fact the president has filled his cabinet very quickly california still counting votes and yet uh the president has managed to fill his cabinet right entirely uh so i think that's a really positive sign uh that uh he understands uh the urgency uh for changing many of these departments and is selecting uh people who uh will bring that sense of urgency uh from the get-go one of the people who wants to change the sense of urgency it's like pretty much starting today but he's unfortunately gonna have to wait till january 20th i got to bring it up is uh incoming borders are tom homing we see uh south dakota governor christy home going to man the department of homeland security there's a lot of administrative stuff that needs to change there everything from where the money is going to the people who head a lot of the agencies under the guise of dhs but when you want to talk about all things border and immigration that's going to fall on the shoulders of tom homing now there's already been some rhetoric ramped up in the media over the course of the last couple weeks congressman everybody from gavin nousam and gretchenwood merge abpritzker and everyone in between uh talking about sanctuary cities talking about protecting their citizens which is i think is a way they kind of soft condition the american public to think that people who are here illegally and and are operating illegally in this country are the same as u.s. citizens and legal permanent residencies so uh you know when you look at the the way that this is kind of being tackled even getting up to you know these figures threatening each other legally on cable news in the evening how big of of a change do you think in this the way sanctuary cities are viewed uh were leading up to this election i mean obviously with some of the poll numbers that have come out recently uh it seems like there's a lot of people nearly 60 percent who support donald trump's transition team which include his appointments which include people like tom homing and then the mass deportations which is still uh you know close to 60 percent as well yeah well i mean the sanctuary city issue is going to be front and center uh los angeles just uh the city council passed a resolution once again declaring itself a sanctuary city and the hypocrisy is so stunning because just last year the mayor of los angeles wrote a letter to biden se begging for more money saying we need more money to deal with the quote challenges of new border arrivals and so they declare themselves a sanctuary city they say come one come all and then they say we need more money from the federal government uh to deal with it i think that uh there's a mandate to end this entire sanctuary debacle uh this radical failed disastrous experiment that has taken hold in places like new york california cities across the country and i think that homan uh and the administration and congress are going to be on the same page in terms of saying this is not something that's going to happen in our country anymore no it certainly isn't and then you know in wrapping here today congress when we want again thank you for taking some time to come and join us on the show we've got everything live linked including uh one to your congressional website but if anybody wants to check you out on social media where are the best places to find you uh yeah i'm on x uh instagram uh facebook just uh you can search for my name kevin kylie it's uh kevin kylie's ca is in california is the actual handle there on x and you heard him here today on stake for breakfast is the congressman who represents california three fighting for all of america out there this is representative kevin kylie thanks for joining us on the show have a great rest of your week and of course happy thanksgiving happy thanksgiving to you as well thanks for having me good day we're coming on the over breaking news about president-elect donald trump the justice department special counsel jack smith just filed a motion to dismiss the federal criminal case against the president-elect over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results the news comes after nbc news learn the justice department had been planning to wind down its federal cases against mr trump it also comes as nbc news learn that smith and his team plan to resign before mr trump returns to the white house all right jump back into the news portion of the show here last news segment on the back end of two big tuesday editions pre-thanksgiving editions of the state for breakfast podcast and it was great catching up with california congressman kevin kylie noah we haven't talked to him in a while but did bring a lot of information especially about all the stuff that we're focused on here outside of the economy and border security it's how we're going to deal with uh big tom hollman trying to get into these blue states the sanctuary cities and root out all the criminal components of the legals that have been dumped all over the country uh moving into the uh you know next session of congress and when donald trump reassumes office what do you think yeah it's been too long since we had that guy on certainly and then there was the announcement yesterday afternoon that jack smith has dropped all of the federal charges against donald trump that is in regards to uh you know interactions that's in regards to uh while not being hitler that's just a narrative uh but election interference and and all of these other things so long story short donald trump never was and apparently for the next four years never will be a convicted felon so copin cieth all the libtards as a uh post was put out on social media yesterday and this came from incoming trump communications director steven the world smasher chong the american people re-elected president donald trump with an overwhelming mandate to make america great again today's decision by the doj ends the unconstitutional federal cases against president trump and is a major victory for the rule law the america people and president trump wanted immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and we look forward to uniting the country and again that's from steven chong incoming trump 47 white house communications director again that leads me to believe that when it comes to if joe biden doesn't have the balls to pardon his own son donald trump might and and statements like that lead me to believe it's the only reason that they would do it you know when you look at the unconstitutional nature that this special council was formulated on obviously uh they avoided the congressional inroads uh that you usually need to appoint one and same thing went with funding as well uh you know this is just like an end to the witch hunt and the hoaxes and the false narratives that donald trump did this that or the other thing it's also going to prevent a lot of the democrats uh coming up to inauguration day from voting to have donald trump be the president of the united states again where they want to go with day one impeachment so that narrative has been destroyed by the electoral landslide and popular vote victory but when you have people that are looking to not certify the election results now that jack smith said that donald trump not only did not lead an insurrection against the country on january six of 2021 but didn't interfere in elections either as he's dropping the only thing that really annoys me noah he did this with prejudice yeah and it should be without you know and it's just really annoying to see that uh they they could leave the door cracked to revisit some of these investigations come twenty twenty nine and if republicans don't win back the white house then so you know i saw jonathan terly who's a fox news contributor one of their legal experts kind of go in and uh glaze over the entire narrative of this and the conclusion of the witch hunt cham investigations and uh we're gonna listen to the clip right now the inside of a courtroom for a trial in this case it made this election the largest effective jury verdict in history by re-electing donald trump by the the special counsel found himself at odds with his own department's long standing policy against the prosecution of a sitting president but smith did not go quietly into that night i expect that he did get a lot of different opinions hoping for the right one but the olc this office that handles uh such questions has long taken this position so it would be doubtful that they would would change it here but you know smith had a sort of gratuitous uh end his term you know he pushed not only for a trial before the election and he pushed it for months for that but he also released damaging information before the election something that many people saw as an effort to influence the election yep smith knew that if trump won he was out of a job and this release of the information was entirely unnecessary the judge admitted that it was procedurally irregular but she went along with it and i think that that did tarnish uh his position and certainly in history uh because he didn't have to do that uh he had become so absolutely fixated on trying john uh trump before the election that he lost credibility i think with the courts he went up to the supreme court they didn't accept that that was the overriding consideration and looking at these legal issues i think it's also very important to remember that his smith's case was riddled with constitutional problems you know when the supreme court reached its immunity decision it was clear that he would have to pare down his indictment he really didn't do it to the degree he needed to do he he took a very minimalist approach he removed a few references a few witnesses uh that stemmed from the first trump presidency but he largely just repackaged it and some of us said that we thought that it was not enough that if he ever did go to trial uh he could be reversed just on that basis and that's kind of where we'll leave it you know as uh i'm sure judge chungus up in the dc circuit was coping and seething as well i just saw this uh memorandum that's coming across the wire right now on the uh understanding between the trump vance transition team in the biden white house this is a question that we've been asking now into the second new segment uh of our second edition of the show today susie wiles the chief of staff to president elect donald j trump said after completing the selection process of the incoming cabinet president elect trump is entering the next phase of his administration's transition by executing a memorandum of understanding with president joe biden's white house this engagement allows our intended cabinet nominees to begin the critical preparations including the deployment of landing teams to every department and agency and complete the orderly transition of power so where we've seen joe biden kind of go off the rails with some of the uh policy directions and decisions he's made over the course of the past couple weeks and in the wake of the 2024 presidential election there is that statement right there from susie wiles showing that we might be raining in some of this bullshit and uh with the landing teams coming uh to all the federal agencies probably directly following the thanksgiving holiday and time off maybe an end to some of this bullshit that's going on right now and i hope so yeah it looks like it's a good step in the right direction so you know one of the things that's caused up a stir this week and we've played some clips over there you know since the election of these mainstream media outlets even fox kind of coping and seizing over the fact that they could not control the news narrative throughout the selection cycle is one of the key elements that led donald trump to have such a successful night uh three tuesday's ago uh it was citizen journal lists it was independent media outlets like we hear at stake for breakfast it was a lot of the major independent podcasts and and news programs that you see online rather than the traditional media which told the narrative of the actual election cycle a lot more accurately uh than we've seen uh via our television sets every night in our living rooms uh i did want to play before i saw one of the legacy media app you know outlets having a meltdown this week over it a little bit of a reminder and this was elon musk just two days before the election in pennsylvania talking about the job that all of us have done but citizen journalism is the future you know and that's where you get to hear from actual experts in the field people who really who are experts in any given industry um and you get to hear the rebuttal so if somebody says something that's that's wrong or requires more context people can add that um you know x x has got community notes which is great um you know so take it community notes i think is uh got a very good batting average it's not perfect but it's got a very good batting batting average um and and i you know many many times i've gotten requests like can we get rid of this community note i'm like no we cannot um so not even a committee note on myself so with community notes all the code is open source all the data is open source so you can recreate any given community notes independently and that transparency is how you know that it's true and it's real and it's honest and i want all of us to remember that those who podcasts themselves those who are independent citizen journals out there the those who listen to our show that write a lot of these amazing op-eds a lot of the contributors and people up on capital hill those staffers that have some of these consultant agencies and how you're kind of directing there's a lot of responsibility which goes into not wanting to always break news not wanting to fantasize about things that we know will never happen uh not lying to their listenership or rising up your hopes when it seems all things are bleak it's reporting accurately independently and honestly uh simply by just gathering the facts and then giving it to you in a way that we think is easiestly digestible uh which is where we found success in the show know what do you think i would have never thought that we would end up where we are today like the fact that people in congress in the senate are calling you to get booked on the show when meanwhile back in the day we were just incessantly email bombing everyone oh yeah we were we talked about the things that were thankful for to kick off our first edition of the podcast that he goes right back to that and then when you look at some of these numbers that i've seen lately 73 of the overall cable news audience in prime time is now watching fox news this is in the the quarter that we're in currently right now msmbc is getting 16 percent and cnn per is getting just 11 percent these numbers are in the aftermath of the election again not pre-election um i still think it's way too much tuning into fox news again they have aspects of never trumpism on there they have a lot of hosts who are not with the america first movement or donald trump or anything that he wants to do in regards to his second term in office so again we pull clips from there when it meets the narrative but we don't go and represent a lot of the narratives that we're talking about because when you talk it's either neil kavuto or bret bear katley mackinaney or any of those bitches that were in and around the uh you know first trump administration that had gone on and written books and now have a very uh walk in the gray area both sides of the fence again get your news from places where you find it to be most honest and most accurate one of the things we like to champion ourselves here on the show no you heard about msmbc might be going i mean they are being decoupled from nbc news and now might be up for sale you know i saw over the weekend and eelon must had gone on like literally a two-day shit posting spree where he was posting like every ten minutes just memes or this that or the other thing don jr took that cover page from msdnc's uh website last week that said you know in the wake of the verdict in the lakein riley trial why lakein riley's killer never had a chance that was the actual caption of their coverage of the finality of that case and you know what all the stuff that's going on with alex jones and infowars at just a totality of the circumstances don jr quoted that picture and said i wish eelon musk would just buy msmbc and then of course much in the same way that it happened with twitter how much is it the first comment happened to be elon must where he asked how much is it i don't think it's gonna happen but it wouldn't shock me either and did that did that rachel matt out a thing where it looked like she was gonna throw up she's like whoa i'm just gonna have to like was that real or was it was that like two videos that were put together it was real that's ridiculous so so she him the acting the acting that woman was doing is ridiculous eleven percent of the total everything is tuning into msdnc at nights now they can't sustain like that for much longer and it doesn't look like at this rate with all those inflated salaries they have for the weirdos that host their shows they won't be that he buys it and puts alex jones i just saw somebody took like a a screenshot of like what it looks like when you walk into like the lobby of msmbc and they just photoshopped the alex jones with the shirt over his head is standing there screaming it's like and i could totally see it as i'm watching there's a supplement shop in the corner on the way in as i'm watching incoming borders are tom home and today uh feed what looks like delicious thanksgiving meals to the national guards down in texas as he's with greg abbot about to speak uh before the border patrol in just a bit so but nobody turns our back on this motherfucker he certainly don't and no one's gonna tell him to take off his jacket either because he has earned it working for i believe for federal agencies in addition to state law enforcement he's headed i believe three of them and served under six presidents for over 30 years what was he a border patrol agent to he was he started off believe it or not in san diego when he started his career nice yeah yeah he was an immigration officer before he became a border agent then went over to texas i had to believe became head of the border patrol he was the headed ice at some point now he's the borders are and uh yeah it's been an illustrious you can't say enough good things about tom hollman and listen i saw him on the news last night and we're gonna get into him that's what we're gonna close out the show i want to kind of stick in this thread first of of talking about how important we are uh in the media here but you know he's not even staying with his family right now and he told us as much when when we did an interview with him last week um you know because he's got some security around him right now there are a lot of threats on his life for what he's looking to do and and when i tell you guys that he is literally looking to go to war with the drug cartels down in mexico and stuff uh he is going to be doing it we'll be getting in that in just a sec sticking in this thread of how important the media has changed how america is now consuming it and how we're trying to change the way you consume your news here on stake for breakfast here's the other side of that elan musk clip here's the ceo of axios which is one of the largest online leftist internet publications having an absolute meltdown at the national press club summit this week in regards to what elan musk has been saying about us the independent media now and what it means for them check this out matters everything we do is under fire elan musk sits on twitter every day or x today saying like we are the media you are the media oh my message to elan musk is bull you're not the media you having you having a blue check mark a twitter handle and 300 words of cleverness doesn't make you a reporter anymore than me looking at your head and seeing that you have a brain and telling you have an awesome set of tools makes me a damn neurosurgeon right like what we do what journalists do what you did in mississippi what els is here it does in the middle east you proclaim yourself to be a reporter like this nonsense like being a reporter is hard really hard oh oh you have to care you have to do the hard work you have to skit up every single day and say i want to get to the closest approximation of the truth without any fear without any favoritism you don't do that by popping off on twitter you don't do that by having an opinion you do it by doing the hard work okay first of all yeah play that one twice jesus oh you want it one more time i'll make it a little bit louder too did you hear him whining oh my gosh we do the hard work we get up every day when i go to the truth we want to do everything that's right if you would stop fucking lying and using all of this rhetoric some so pointed over the course of the last couple years that donald trump was nearly assassinated twice then more people would probably tune in or subscribe to your bullshit news outlets and i think this is just the beginning uh we've seen it in the numbers coming from cable news we've seen it in the closing of major publications over the course the last several years we've seen some of these commentators who have you know graced the inside of people's living rooms for years either been rode off into the sunset irrelevance and retirement all the way down to being fired uh you know as we came to the end of this election cycle right now and i think we're just getting started because if you're not going to be reporting this accurately and especially with the team that donald trump has put together uh where it's so broad and diverse and outside of the typical cookie cutter uh you know republican shapes here then you're just gonna miss the mark and no one's gonna listen to you and uh and quite honestly no one's going to care so you know that's kind of the importance of of the job we're doing right now and seeing major uh players in the game like the ceo of axios right now covency like that means that not only us here on stake for breakfast had to continue to do the best job we can uh it's all the other people out there that i talked about the citizen journals the op-ed writers i mean even if you got a sub stack well a lot of subscribers there is responsibility that goes to uh you know sometimes we don't get to push our own narrative because we want to tell things the way we want to tell them we'll tell you how we feel about it but we're not going to continue to uh you know provide hopium or copium or whatever and make all of these fantastic things that are never going to happen because it's not the way the real world works so keep that in mind and uh moving forward you know we'll continue to do the great job we've always done here on the show guys wherever you're listening to the show today last call do us a favor be sharing the show especially during these going on down here at stake for breakfast so as we're getting ready to wrap here and jump in with incoming Arizona congressman Abe homaday and close out our pre thanksgiving festivities here on the show you know we really have to talk about someone that we've mentioned just about every show since Donald Trump won the election that's Tom Holman he's been making a lot of news lately and being very combative with some of the narratives that's being pushed out in mainstream media especially that coming from those democrat governors in sanctuary states who don't want to you know kind of read the writing on the wall that america is in favor of mass deportations and these people are going to be leaving very expeditiously once we get to the swearing in of Donald Trump into the official appointment of Tom Holman as the borders are here was him on Sunday night he joined someone who I just absolutely cannot stand I know president trump loves him but he's just such a douchebag jerk off who only comes around when he knows the getting's good and that's mark levin remember this is a guy during the speaker ship battle who said you know all of our favorite congressman and women were babies he said the america first movement the the essential definition of it uh was that of selfish like bastard children and I will never forget him for that stuff because whenever it's about hyping up donald trump or having donald trump share his books he'll of course push that stuff but when you talk about the essence the foundation of what this movement was built on people like mark levin have never been on board and never will be but he did take the opportunity to host Tom Holman as a fox news contributor and this is what he had to say about what the current administration has done in regards to immigration or lack thereof this administration's turned this world upside down so now i know i'm being attacked right i got death threats uh my family's not even living in my home right now so all of a sudden the guys who went on force law are the bad guys the guys who break the law are the victims and for those mayors and those governors who say they're going to stop me from stop always from doing a job stop me from doing this job listen to leakin riley tape listen to the 17 minutes of this girl suffering fighting for her life fighting for her breath this little girl didn't want to die she fought like hell and listen to that tape that happens every day across this country at the hands of an illegal alien and finally i'll say this president trump has made it clear we're going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats right out of the gate because they pose the most dangerous country what governor or mayor is doesn't want public safety threats and national security threats out of their neighborhoods other communities that's your number one responsibility so you can hate trump all you want but you got a lovely community more than you hate it's a good point you know i saw the news yesterday just out here in so-called no there was a mayor who went on to the news to talk about getting all these people out of here on day one and how the state of california the office of governor newsome and the entire apparatus of in sacramento has already sent threatening paperwork to all i guess conservative mayors that have their caught working with federal law enforcement in regards to things related to deportations they will be charged the police will be removed from their current positions and they will lose their retirements moving forward did you hear about that yeah i don't like that very much at all no i hate it and that they're actually kind of fucked up and par for the course for shitty ass california yeah i am so bummed that i'm from here like i love this place but it is such a shittle it's brutal and you know to see this mayor go out there and he's like uh now my office has to pay for outside consulting to see uh aware uh the state constitution and the and the actual constitution of the united states meet how much legal premise does gavin newsome actually have it sounded like the guy was just going through a tough time and he's ready willing and able to want to work with federal law enforcement ice tom homing whatever other components are going to be used in in regards to rounding up these people and getting them out here especially the the violently criminal ones but they're already getting like their pre donald trump sworn in office paperwork saying if we catch you we're going after you as the mayor we're going after every individual police officer that does it they will be charged at the state level if they're found aiding federal law enforcement and then if they're found guilty they will lose their pension moving forward which i just thought was absolutely disgusting but you know we've seen people like avenue sim go out and grant stand on this there was a abc news clip this weekend where you saw the mayor of denver saying he's not only willing to physically stand in the face of federal law enforcement and even tom homing he'd be glad to go to jail if they can prove that he's violating the law by stopping entities like ice from removing criminal aliens this is a place where trendair agua is just opened up shop in places like denver colorado uh the last clip i've got and as our last audio clip of the day here's tom homing reacting to the video of the denver mayor saying he'd go to jail over illegals would you be willing to go to jail for these things yeah i'm not afraid of that tom you heard this mayor out there in in uh colorado i want to get your reaction to it and i want you to be clear about who has jurisdiction the federal government or state and local governments and if you're a sanctuary state or city are you breaking the law you absolutely breaking law all you have to do look at arizona versus us you'll see these breaking law but look me and the denver mayor we agree on one thing he's willing to go to jail i'm willing to put them in jail because there's a statue it's title eight nice united states called 1324 triple i and what it says is it's a felony if you knowingly harbor concealed illegal and immigration authorities is also a family to impede a federal law enforcement officer so if we don't want to help that's fine he can get the hell out of the way but we're going to go do the job president trump has a mandate for american people we got to secure this country we got to save american lives and i find it shocking any mayor of a city would say the president trust me clear we want to concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats i find it hard to believe that any mayor or governor would say they don't want public safety threats removed from their neighborhoods i mean i mean i don't know what the hell's going on in denver but we're going to go and we're going to fix it if you don't want to fix it if you don't want to protect his communities president trump and i's will hmm i like it can think of any better way ended today's show and headed into the thanksgiving holiday than that no what do you think nope that's that's pretty good uh way to sum up though the new administration yeah to say the very at least again time homing absolutely shining right now as he's uh eating with the troops down in edenburg texas uh with border patrol and it looks like texas dps uh governor abbot and others ahead of the thanksgiving holiday and we're going to leave it at that as we're getting ready to round out today's pre thanksgiving festivities with an exclusive interview of incoming arizona house republican abhamade but before we do that how about one final check-in with one of our partners it's an 1-800-527-2150 make america healthy again all right joining us next on the show today the speak tuesday edition of the state breakfast podcast he's the congressman elect who's looking to represent Arizona's eighth congressional district next year of course we're talking about the one and only abhamade welcome back to the show thank you good to be with you always a pleasure to host and since we haven't talked to you since the conclusion of the election cycle congressman elect congratulations on winning your district and we look forward to having you up on capitol hill in just a few weeks thank you you know it's a historic victory for the american people with president trump sweeping i'm just glad to be going to dc with president trump and not kamala Harris well absolutely and listen we're going to start off today talking about the conclusion of the election cycle you and there were so many new house reps fresh faces who are going to be joining us here on stake for breakfast and be regular contributors here on the show from up on the hill but you know talking about the end of this election cycle it was different than any of the ones probably that you could remember in your lifetime me as well and uh you know the way that the media uh the the opposition party uh just the way everything kind of portrayed republicans donald trump's agenda what was important to americans or not it seems like it wasn't just a referendum but it was one of the biggest political pushbacks and probably the history of modern politics when you talk about what happened on election day not only the electoral landslide for donald trump but the popular vote victory and then retaining the house majority and flipping the senate back into republican control uh we have a huge opportunity uh you know at our fingertips right now heading into congress you guys getting sworn in on the third of january and then president trump will be joining you after the 20th but talk about the end of this election cycle how it might have differed from the last couple you know especially since you've been involved with some of those races and what does it mean that american finally understands like what the priorities for this country should be and it's not just what the democrats and the mainstream media have been telling you yeah i think you hit the nail in the head right there the media and the democrats you know they're they have misplaced priorities i mean if you look at i think that they were intentionally destroying their country uh all their policies and that's why so many people were surprised by the results at least the elites were but i wasn't i knew that this was a referendum on a corrupt system and president trump led that charge with the america first movement so uh you know being out here and on the ground you could sense uh a vibe shift and uh a narrative shift too i mean people you know right after the election it was so beautiful to you see maga hats and places you've never seen them before people are proud to be associated with this movement unlike how the media portrayed it and i have to give credit to elan musk purchasing x because i think that platform was able to get the narrative and the truth out there that the mainstream media failed us to do in 2022 and in 2020 election so you know if you look at some of the poll results as well polling has been garbage and i think if there's one takeaway it's that the poll the pollsters are completely wrong they spend millions of dollars and uh they can't even get it right and the reason is because why would people be honest in polls right now when you have the biden department of justice weaponized against patriots uh and the maga movement so that's where the polling was so wrong and it wasn't just wrong at the presidential levels wrong at the senate races too so i i think there's a there's a huge gut check happening with the democrats and i really want your listeners to know how close we were for the democrats who totally destroy our country i mean they had every intention to if if they would have pulled this off they would have made portareco and guam and all these places you know states and they would have tried to um to fundamentally change their supreme court change the senate it's in it's absolutely insane uh the limit they had no limits they they felt so emboldened and finally you know i think there was a big gut check with the american people resoundingly giving president trump the the victory and we we have to remember it wasn't just republicans that what president trump carried all of these republicans across the finish line and that that's really important you know all these republicans who try to die away from trump or they try to moderate themselves that wasn't the case president trump won states like michigan with sconce and my god he won the arab americans in michigan yep something we've never seen if you look at the border states in texas Arizona if you look at those counties that border mexico and he won the hispanic population vote so it was truly you know remarkable and we're witnessing history uh as we go forward you know you make a lot of good points there one i want to kind of tap into and get some commentary from your abe is uh elan musk you know buying twitter was like the start it's like that meme with the smallest domino that leads all the way up to it and you know when you get to the biggest domino's now in that meme what you have elan mus doing is his pack in pennsylvania was critical and and a huge component of donald trump flippin and keystone state back into the win column for america first protecting house seats like scott perries and getting an america first senator in uh mccormick up into the senate next year in addition you you have his pack which is already looking to spread out into all the battleground states ahead of the mid-term elections to make sure we not only retain the house majority but keep the senate in republican control and and the way it's looking right now with the road map we could have the senate uh well into the twenty thirties which would be amazing for the president's agenda and presidents after him moving forward but now you see elan musk out there and he's like if we're going to have senators on the republican side who want to push back on donald trump's nominations uh we're going to look for ways to possibly primary you or find out why you aren't doing the will of the mandate that donald trump earn on election night or the will the constituents from the states that you represent it seems like someone who was kind of an obscure character listen he wasn't even maga as much as like six or eight months ago now it seems like he's not only full on board for the america first movement but he understands what donald trump is looking to do in his next term in office only one term that he's got in the oval and he's looking to go even more all in to make sure that this country is getting back on the right path yeah exactly and you know i was there at the republican conference meeting when president trump came and elan musk was there as well you know i think having elan musk there with the republican members of congress it is a powerful message that president trump has to send and especially with these senators you know some of these senators still haven't gotten with the program you know leave it to republicans to to squander an opportunity like that we have right now and that's what you know i hope that i i think elan musk putting his money where his mouth is going to be powerful because you know republicans have to understand that this wasn't a victory necessarily for republicans this was a victory of the america first republicans right and that's a key difference so uh i'm excited to see you know you're exactly right with one term president trump is liberated and by the way he knows exactly what to do now i mean this hasn't happened since the late 1800s with uh with taft i believe so now having him come back at a non-consecutive term like this he knows the bureaucracies he knows where the land mines are he knows exactly what to do and congress as well i mean if when i was out there in washington dc the republicans at least on the house died really do seem united yep and that is something that's different than say in years past where so many people were so focused on their own districts and you know if they're in a swing district they wanted to like you know make sure they're a little bit more moderate that's not the case i mean right now it's not it's not about a left or right issue whether you have a secure border it's not a left or right issue if you want honest and fair elections which by the way you know california and so many other states are still counting their ballots brutal so this is where we're going to forge ahead we know exactly what needs to be done to save our country and if we fail to do so you know what what a damning indictment that would be because right now we've been given a mandate by the american people and we cannot be scared of the the mainstream media which is dying right now i mean look at it trying to sell off all these news organizations you you even saw the washing and post not endorsed kamala and the la times on endorsing kamala so we're we're witnessing something so historic republicans you know i plead with them do not screw up this opportunity president trump was elected commander in chief and he know he put out the vision and that's who the american people voted for and that's the and that's the vision that we are going to support in congress no that's that that's that they're there because we've had so many republicans i believe 13 of them back in 2021 who helped some of the most awful cabinet picks in the history of modern politics i'm thinking marrick garland ajandra meork is exavier bessara p budajed you want to go back a couple administrations eric holder uh you know what without any real pushback outside of the grandstanding that happens within the confirmation process and and we really need those four or five of them who were saying like you know they don't know if these uh cabinet picks don't go through the process these are all very public figures who have lived kind of seamless lives and have been very attached to the america first move in when donald trump has the mandate he has especially with the popular road victory he should get the cabinet that he deserves uh to start day one and on january 20th of next year so you had mentioned during republican conference game tell us a little bit about the orientation you don't have to get into the logistics of it but just what the whole experience is like going up meeting with some of the people who have been in congress meeting with some of the people that you know from uh prior psychos who have worked closely with president trump you know we got a whole bunch of them coming on the show in the last two weeks we caught up with the freedom uh caulkish chairman dr anti-harris on friday we had house uh conference republican incoming secretary erin houchin on the show as well core mills will be here friday of this week and uh you know what was it like seeing some of your uh incoming fellow co-workers and what was the whole orientation experience like yeah it was exhausting it was two weeks but you know the freshman class i just speak so highly of because it seems like everybody is united i know so many of the the guests you have on today you know i i'm friends with them and we have this common vision and it's just something that you know we don't have the list trainees of the world in congress right now and uh and honestly like it was just such a beautiful thing to witness this was you know days after the election and you know that at the time the house wasn't called for the republicans yet so there's still some uneasiness right and when i when i go around we know what's really fascinating because you know i'm kind of the poster child of election integrity in so many ways me and karen lake but i talked to him about election integrity universally everybody knows that our elections are big have been rigged by the democrats so i feel like there's this coalition building to be more aggressive right where we're not fearful of the mainstream media and the corporate media anymore we we know exactly uh how to get our message out through x or or uh through programs like this so i think that's the biggest difference for so long republicans have had to bend the knee and capitulate to the mainstream media and no longer do we have to do that so when i was meeting with these members you know talking about election integrity it wasn't a taboo subject anymore right talking about the border it wasn't a taboo subject to say yeah we need deportations it seems like everybody is is unified behind the the the america first agenda so that was a a site to behold but you know i when i was there it was just um you know it was obviously information overload and drinking from a fire hose but uh meeting with everybody and just knowing that this team that we have built and it's you know it's an unusual team you got some more traditional establishment people than you got the america first wing right but i even think the establishment they they they understand what this moment you know because if you remember going back a year ago like you mentioned you on must not being mugged up until recently going back a year ago you know we had the republican primary that we all knew was bogus and it was just there to serve the purpose to hurt president trump and to help the democrats but you and they were they were underestimating president trump bet you know all these washington insiders and now i think that there's a reality check that maybe that they're wrong and maybe that they're that they don't have the uh the pulse of the american people so i i believe that they're willing to to uh listen and to to take give give some power to this new generation of america first fighters and that's why i'm so excited to be joining in because although i'm i'm one of the younger members of congress i'm not the youngest i mean we got brandon gill who's oh yeah he's a young guy and there's adison mcdowell you have so many others so it's going to be so fascinating and i truly uh congress is shay is shay different and the republican party is so different the coalition that president trump brought together it literally embodies the american people and that is something that we have to capitalize on and we cannot squander this opportunity no no that's it right there we've seen since president trump left office so many people who were out in the private sector form of veterans much like yourself once who ran in in election cycles past but maybe didn't get the support america first that they needed to get over the finish line just stand up and say what they did to president trump at the end of his first term in office was absolutely horrific for the american people to have to watch what we've had to endure for the last four years has been just absolutely too much and moving forward i'm going to step up i'm going to get up there in capital hill and i'm going to help support his legislative agenda in ways that i could do better than just outside of my state of arizona or wherever you guys are from and we've seen like the last three classes of incoming freshman congressman and women just be absolutely fantastic and a lot of warriors for america first up there you know you had mentioned uh in in conference as well how great was it to hear that president trump give speaker johnson a full endorsement and at the same time uh house republicans and leadership seem that they want to kind of roll with that and that's part of president trump's mandate and speaker johnson's going to lead this uh republican house majority into the next session of congress with a lot of pieces of legislation uh you know still on the back burner from last time hr one hr two there's a lot of stuff that you guys did to get done once you guys get sworn in before president trump does in regards to reconciliation and stuff like that uh that are really some pivotal pieces of uh you know things that he wants to sign into law they're going to help everything from securing the border to uh energy independence getting things geopolitically back in the right track etc yeah no it was uh just speaker johnson i mean they've been working on you know prior to the election a hundred-day plan with president trump's agenda so they have everything ready to go which is which is great you know versus 2016 and 2017 nobody expected president trump to win and so many of these people were resisting it this is so unusual it was like we we are all united truly and if you're not if there's any republicans that don't support the agenda and that's where elon musk and as america paksen come in finally republicans have a george soros on the right it seems like and uh you know i was also there to uh steve bannon you know he got released from prison he was in washington dc and had an event so i introduced him and you know just to understand that the democrats in the left and what the kamala hares joe biden regime did they were locking up patriots they were locking up people they're locking up uh you know pro lifers in our movement i mean just the democrats they put our country to the brink of chaos truly they were going to destroy every single institution and for us to now take back power uh through the electoral process was a site to behold and i do think leadership is entirely united behind president trump and and i you see the relationship between speaker johnson president trump and he was at the ufc fight with him and so uh yeah i do think right now it's such a prime opportunity that we didn't have back in 2017 and yet paul ryan you know trying to stop every legislation that president trump won and we couldn't even get the border wall funded back then remember how silly is that now we look back at it uh so you know there's been a huge wakeup call from now compared to the eight years ago and that's something that is is so beautiful truly to witness and i can't wait to be a part of part of history come january third no it's it's the truth and you know listen when when you talk about and in closing today gay we just want to be a commentary i i think it's really important that we look at uh you know the team that president trump's putting together he was able to get enough people over the finish line to retain the house majority he's got the speaker of the house that he wants you know a lot of people that have come on in the past couple of uh weeks have said you know speaker johnson is probably going to be the most conservative speaker of the house in the history of you know uh modern politics but here's the deal he was very handcuffed last year with a lot of committee seats that were tied to kevin macarthy with obviously a democrat led set up by chug shooter and joe biden being in the white house but abe when you look at the team he's putting together as far as his cabinet and and his agency head appointments these are some of the most absolutely it's the america first avengers to be honest with you you you look at people over the years who have been with president trump since he came down the golden escalator and those who rose to prominence when in the party and in the america first movement heading into this election cycle i mean everybody from former congressman lee zeldin and uh chairwoman at least tafanek of the pambani tom home and you name it they're jumping in all hands on deck for this what is your feelings on how this administration is getting put together and and what do you think now that donald trump is going to have some true allies with him heading into his next term and office uh is going to be able to get things going in such a swift manner for the american people yeah we got to keep that momentum going unfortunately we just have one term as president trump but this america first movement is going to last beyond just president trump and that's why i was so excited to see you know it's so unconventional we have elon musk and vivak rama swami lee going to be leading this department of government efficiency you know something that we've never seen before uh it's going to be quite interesting and i can't wait to experience it all and to help to help save our country it felt like this was a a a revival an american renaissance is on its way truly um but joe biden and kamala harris you see what they're doing right now with ukraine and russia war i mean they're doing everything they can to to try to tie president trump uh before he even takes office but president trump is threatening stuff with very good loyalists um we're still waiting for the fbi director and i'm hoping that's cash but this cash betel is one of my closest friends and advisors and still loyal to this movement so i'm i'm praying that's the case but you know the deep state the swamp you know they they try to throw everything at these people anybody who knows the truth they want to destroy no you make some excellent points there listen we've got the post on all of our social media is trump transition draft we're at day i think 21 right now and we just put up a picture of cash betel uh it's we're waiting for him listen if he gets picked last and is mr irrelevant but at some point becomes the tom brady of this administration that i'm completely fine with it as long as he's not going up against eli manning in the super bowl we should be good uh you know but cash has been such a great contributor to the show and and like the cases with you he's been a mentor and a great friend to stay for breakfast outside of our recordings with him we really hope that uh he would be the perfect guy to bring that wrecking ball that we need to places like the fbi hey this has been awesome catching
