I thank you I honor you. I worship you in Jesus name. Amen Okay Let's get It would It would mess up on me like that right now. I sure would I was trying to pop up videos a long time ago And it didn't want to come up. So Let's see here you guys Let's see let's see let's see so numbers chapter 20 Always forget I need these Water from the rock In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the desert of Zinn and they stayed at Kadesh where Miriam died and was buried Oh there Miriam died and was buried Now there was no water for the community and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron now it's very There Miriam died and was buried. There's a mystery in there There's a mystery in that it's important for a reason. It's it's in the word of God for a reason There Miriam died and was buried. Where was she buried? They arrived at the desert of Zinn and they stayed at Kadesh So they were in the desert of Zinn. I wonder what Zinn means and they stayed at Kadesh Verse 2 now there was no water for the community and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron They quarreled with Moses and said if only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord Why did you bring the Lord's community to into this wilderness that we in our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs grapevines or pomegranates and there is no water to drink Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance of to the tent of meeting and fell face down and glory and The glory of the Lord appeared to them The Lord said to Moses take the staff and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water You will bring out of the water. You will bring out of the rock for the community so they in their livestock can drink He said speak to that rock before their eyes And it will pour out its water So Moses took the staff from the Lord's presence just as he commanded him He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them listen you rebels must we bring? You water out of this rock Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff Water gushed out in the community in their livestock drink But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy and the side of the Israelites You will not bring this community into the land. I give them these were the waters of Miraba There the Israelites quarreled with the Lord and there he was proved holy among them Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of edam saying this is what your brother Israel says You know about all the hardships that have come on us our ancestors went down to into Egypt And we lived there many years the Egyptians mistreated us and our ancestors But when we cried out to the Lord he heard our cry and sin and angel and brought us out of Egypt Now we are here at Kadesh a town on the edge of your territory Please let us pass through your country. We will not go through any field or vineyard or drink water for many Well, we will travel along the king's highway and not turn to the right or left or to the left until we have passed through your territory But edam answered you may not pass through here if you try we will march out and attack you with the sword The Israelites replied we will go along the main road And if we and if we or our livestock drink any of your water we will pay for it We only want to pass through on foot nothing else now Edam is the son of eat the the families or the children of Esau And I think they probably had a vendetta against the Israelites for not letting them pass through Verse 20 again, they answered you may not pass through the need him came out against them with a large powerful army Since edam refused to let them go through their territory. Israel returned away from them The death of Aaron The whole Israelite community set out from Kadesh and came to Mount whore At Mount whore near the border of Edam the Lord said to Moses and Aaron Aaron will be gathered to his people He will not enter the land. I give the Israelites because both of you were built against my command at the waters of Maribah Get Aaron and his son Elia sir and take them up Mount whore Remove Aaron's garments and put them on his son Elia sir for Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will die there Moses did as the Lord commanded. They went up Mount whore in the side of the whole community Moses removed Aaron's garments and put them on his son Elia sir and Aaron died there on the top of the mountain Then Moses and Elia's are came down from the mountain and the whole community learned that Aaron had died All the Israelites mourned him mourned for him 30 days Erad destroyed when the Canaanite king of erad who lived in a jeff heard that Israel was coming along the road to At the room he attacked the Israelites and captured some of them then Israel made this vow to the Lord If you will deliver these people into our hands, we will totally destroy their cities The Lord listened to Israel's plea and gave the Canaanites over to them. They completely destroyed them in their town So the place was named Horma excuse me The bronze snake they traveled from Mount whore along the route to the Red Sea to go around eat them But the people grew impatient on this on the way. They spoke against God and against Moses and said Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread. There is no water and we detest this miserable food then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them and they Among them they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said we sinned When we spoke against the Lord and against you pray that the Lord will take away the snakes Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us. So Moses prayed for the people the Lord said to Moses Make a snake and put it on a pole anyone who is bitten can look at it and live So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole Then anyone who then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake they lived The Israelites moved on and camped at Oboth Then they set out from Oboth and camped in lie Abram and the wilderness that faces Moab toward the sunrise From there they moved on and camped in the zared valley They set out from there and camped alongside the Arnan which is in the wilderness extending into the Amorite territory The Arnan is a border of Moab Between Moab and the Amorites. That is why the Book of the Wars That is why the book of the Wars of the Lord says They have in Sufah and the ravines The Arnan and the slopes of the ravines that lead to the settlement of our and lie along the border of Moab From there they continued to the they continued on to beer the will Where the Lord said to Moses gather the people together and I will give them water Then Israel sang this song spring up. Oh well sing about it about the will that princes dug That the nobles of the people sank the nobles was septors and staffs Then they went from the wilderness of Matana and from Matana to nathale to nathale to Beimoth and from Beimoth to the valley of Moab where the top of pigs though the overlooks the wasteland Israel sent messengers to say to Shahan king of the Amorites Let us pass through your country. We will not turn aside into any field or vineyard or drink water for many will We will travel along the king's highway until we have passed through your territory The Sahan would not let Israel pass through his territory He mustered his entire army and marched out into the wilderness against Israel when he reached a has he fought with Israel Israel however put him to the sword and took over his land from the Arnans to the Jabok but only as far as the Amorites could But only as far as the Amorites because their border was fortified Israel captured all the cities of the Amorites and Occupied them including Heshbahn in all its surrounding settlements Heshbahn was the city of Sahan king of the Amorites who had fought against the former king of Moab and Had taken from him all his land as far as the Arnun. That is why the poets say Come to Heshbahn and let it be rebuilt let Sahan city be restored Fire went out from Heshbahn ablaze from the city of Sahan it consumed our and Moab our of Moab The citizens of Arnan's heights woe to you Moab you are destroyed people of Khamash He has given up his sons as fugitives and his daughters as captives to king to Sahan king of the Amorites But we have overthrown them Heshbahn's dominion has been destroyed all the way to Dabon We have demolished them as far as no fan which extends to Madiba So Israel settled in the land of the Amorites after Moses had spent had sent spies to Jayzer The Israelites captured its surrounding settlements and drove out the Amorites who were there then they turned and went up along the road toward Beshan and Og King of Beshan and his whole mark and his whole army marched out to meet them in battle at Edry The Lord said to Moses do not be afraid of him for I have delivered him into your hands along with his whole army and his land Due to him what you did to Sahan king of the Amorites who reigned in Heshbahn So they struck him down together with his sons and his whole army leaving them so no survivors And they took possession of his land Chapter 22 Balak summons Balaam Then the Israelites traveled to the plains of Moab and camped along the Jordan across from Jericho Now Balak's son of the poor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites and Moab was terrified because there was so many people Indeed Moab was filled with dread because of the Israelites The Moabites said to the elders of Midian this horde is going to lick up everything around us as an ox Licks up the grass of the field So Balak's son of the poor who was king of Moab at the time sent messengers to summon Balaam son of Bior Who was at pethor near the Euphrates River in his native land Balak said A people has come out of Egypt they cover the face of the land and have settled next to me now come and put a Curse on these people because they are too powerful for me Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land for I know That whatever you bless is blessed and whoever you curse is cursed The elders of Moab and Midian left Taking with them the fee for divination when they came to Balaam. They told him what Balak had said Spend the night here Balam said to them and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me So the Moabite officials stayed with him God came to Balaam and asked who are these men with you? Balam said to God Balak son of the poor king of Moab sent me this message a People that has come out of Egypt covers the face of the land now come and put a curse on them for me Perhaps then I will be able to fight them and drive them away But God said to Balaam do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people because they are blessed The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balaam officials go back to your country for the Lord has refused to let me go With you. So the Moabite officials returned to Balaam and said Balaam refused to come with us Then Balaam sent other officials more numerous and more distinguished than the first they came to Balaam and said This is what Balaam son of the poor says do not let anything keep you from coming to me Because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say come and put a curse on these people for me But Balaam answered them even if Balaam gave me all the silver and gold and it's put in his place I could not do anything great or small to go be on the command of the Lord my God Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else the Lord will tell me That night God came to Balaam and said since these men have come to summon you go with them But do only what I tell you Balaam got up the next morning settled as donkey and went with the Moabite officials But God was very angry when he went and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him Balaam was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him When the donkey saw that the angel of the Lord standing when the donkey saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road With a drawn sword in his hand it turned off the road into a field Balaam beat it to get back on it wait Balaam beat it to get it back on the road Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path through the vineyards with walls on both sides When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord it pressed close to the wall crushing Balaam's foot Against it so he beat the donkey again Then the angel of the Lord moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn Either to the right or to the left when the donkey saw the angel of the Lord it laid down under it It laid down under Balaam and he was angry and beat it with his staff Then the Lord opened the donkey's mouth and it said to Balaam, what have I done to you to make you beat me these three times? Balaam answered the donkey you have made a fool of me. If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now The donkey said to Balaam, am I not your own donkey which you have always written to this day Have I been in the habit of doing this to you? No, he said then the Lord opened Balaam's eyes And he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a sword drawn so he bowed low and fell face down The angel of the Lord asked him why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times if you had not turned away I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have but but I would have spared it Balaam said to the angel of the Lord. I have sinned. I do not I did not realize that you were standing in the road to oppose me Now if you are displeased, I will go back the angel of the Lord said to Balaam Go with the man But speak only what I tell you so Balaam went and so Balaam went with Balaam officials. God. I can't read today Then Balaam heard See then it's supposed to be when Verse 36 when Balaam heard that Balaam was coming. He went out to meet him on the mob at the mobite town On the Arnhem border at the edge of his territory Balaam said to Balaam, did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn't you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you? Well, I have come to you now Balaam replied, but I can't say whatever I please I must speak only what God puts in my mouth Then Balaam went with Balaam to Karith Hazoth Huzah Balaam sacrificed cattle and sheep and gave some to Balaam and the officials who were with him The next morning Balaam took Balaam to Balaam off Balaam And from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp Oh, all that was a mouthful. I'm gonna have to go in a minute I'm gonna have to go in a minute I'm gonna have to end that right there because my time is actually running out So I'm gonna end that right there. That was about what three chapters Um, I love you. God bless you Um, God loves you more. Okay. God loves you more Bye-bye.
