Come on, fellas, you know you'd like to get behind your girl and grip on them hips. [LAUGHING] Bill! Have I lied to you? Bill! OK. 842, good morning, everybody. It's the Bill and Jessica show. Good morning. It's going to be partly sunny today. Rain, likely overnight, highs in the lower 50s. Yeah, we're getting ready for Thanksgiving. We do have Jessica's celebrity buzz coming up at a sec. Also standing by-- we're going to talk to her in the 9 o'clock hour. I believe she's going to be checking in a little bit early, possibly in the 8 o'clock hour. I don't know what we're going to see. She's a floating interview, so it's coming up soon. But we're going to have trauma expert Dr. Sarah Glass talking about survival tips at the holiday table. Yeah. Yeah, drsareglass.com. Assisting people and navigating the holidays despite political divisions in the family. Oh boy. OK, so we've talked about it. We think it's ridiculous that-- Things are heated. People stop talking to each other. They're taking so personal. Stop being so deep in it. But we'll talk about that coming up. Before we get into celebrity buzz, though, it is Thanksgiving Eve. Yes. Tomorrow's the big day. And there's a lot of football on tomorrow, which is awesome. I love it. Three games. And John Madden is a legend. Yeah, he is. And he used to be the king of the Turducken. The Turducken tradition. Greg Olson did the whole Turducken tradition last year, I believe. Now, Tom Brady, he's like the big wig on-- You want to do it? I don't know. I don't know if he's going to do it. I like Greg Olson. I think he's good. My fame, of course, is Romo. But they do it on Fox. So I don't know. But here goes just some classic moments of one of the greatest ever to announce football, John Madden. Tradition. John Madden is like the Gorilla Monsoon football. Yes. Ever struck me as only. Gorilla Monsoon is like the John Madden of WWE. It's about the past. It's always taken on new pieces from here, new pieces from there. Tradition is always evolving. And I think Thanksgiving is a great example of that. Thanksgiving football, the history, the tradition, you think about John Madden. And there's a turkey. And if you notice, like the girl says, here's a leg here and a leg here and a leg here. There's four legs. I think this one may have a couple down there, too. But we have these turkey legs that we're going to give out after the game. There is the turkey. Yeah, and that turkey is so big and so many legs that that's a two-man job. [INTERPOSING VOICES] There's just certain things that go together. You know, the turkey, the family, the tradition, football. And we have it all today. There it is. Look, we got dressing and everything there. Take it down there. Hey, Mr. Madden, Mr. Summerall. Happy Thanksgiving, fellas. We have six-legged turkey there. And we got the stuffing. Look at the size of this turkey. Now, there is a turkey. You know, we got some legs on there. I mean, here's a leg. Here's a leg. Then we got three here. We got three here. OK. Turkey legs got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. But sometimes, turkeys are getting so big in here so that they have-- you know, so much in that-- And he's, like, drawing on him like he does, like, the football plays. Because of the meat that they were breaking their legs. And they only had four legs. And the four legs couldn't hold them. So it's in USA today, I think, the other day. And about the turkey. They're getting newspaper. So big. They're getting so big that their legs can't hold them. So they're breaking their legs. So you're finding big old turkeys with broken legs. So the way to do it, the way I say, is if you can't, if you want big old turkeys, you have to give them more legs. You know, here's a turkey. We got one leg, two legs, three legs, four legs, five legs, six legs. Reggie White in 1989 won the first turkey leg. That's when the turkey only had two. Yeah, that was a two-legged turkey. And then Emmett Smith and Troy Eichmann won it was still two-legged. And then when Eric Kramer and Jerry Ball won it, I think it was three or four-land. And then we had to get more for the offensive line. Well, that's what happens to those turkeys. And then that's where we keep them. I mean, you wonder, like, you know, where they go. You know, they just keep them in the trophy case in America. Wonderful. Some things are new, some things never change. Football's the same way. Wow. You can't beat a good turducken. Which is a turducken right here, where we got-- you know what a turducken is? A turducken, this thing here, is a deboned duck stuffed in a deboned chicken stuffed in a deboned turkey. That smells so good. A duck with a chicken. So I just started grabbing it, pulling it apart and eat it. Then you just kind of cut this right down the middle. And then you cut sideways and you get-- John Mann was, like, the best. He was the best, like, watching football. And you get a little turkey and a little chicken and a little duck. Turkey is this. This is a turducken. This is a turducken. Sure. But anyway, here's how you slice it. See, a lot of people don't know. You have to slice it down the middle. And then you slice it across this way. See, and this is what it looks like inside. See, it's a turkey, dressing, duck, dressing, chicken. Now some of the things we take for granted, we don't take for granted anymore. And our tradition-- From a turducken to weak side blitz. You know, Nate, you know, he's going to have that turducken. I can't, but watch Nate, you know, he's our player. You know, it's really five different things. It's a chicken, a duck, a turkey, and two kinds of dressings. And are you going to have one on your Thanksgiving table? Yeah, I was going to have one. I have to bring it, though. Because-- oh, there's a turducken there. This is where he just digs in and cuts it with his hand. Make sure that's the-- that is it. And you see, you cut it like right down here. And then this is what it looks like in-- He just pulls it apart. Classic moment on John Medd. See, so you got turkey, and duck, and then dressing, and then chicken. And then you just have to do it that way. Stuff is looking good, and smelling good, and tasting good. But we've got to dig in and start eating now. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and enjoy the game. There you go. That's John Madden Classic. Yeah. A legend, a legend. He's definitely missed. He's definitely missed, so-- Great memories. 848. It's Bill and Jessica Show. Let's do this right here. Power 1017, the hottest music studios brought to you by odds and unsmoke shop. Here we go, Drake has filed his second legal claim against Universal Music Group. This time around, accusing the company of defamation by releasing Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us. The Toronto rap superstar filed a pre-action petition in a Texas federal court on Monday night. Yeah, this is wild. You guys been reading up about this? He's claiming that by releasing Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss track Not Like Us, which includes false claims by Delmar, that Drake is a pedophile, and Drake is alleging that UMG, along with iHeartRadio, both aided and defaming his character. UMG could have refused to release or distribute the song or required the offending material to be edited or removed Drake lawyer's room. But UMG chose to do the opposite. UMG designed and financed and then executed a plan to turn Not Like Us into a viral mega hit. With the intent of using the spectacle of harm and Drake and his businesses to drive consumer hysteria and, of course, massive revenues. While the plan succeeded, and likely beyond UMG's wildest expectations. Now, look, we all, I mean, Not Like Us is a huge huge hit. It is. We all love it. It's Kendrick. We're like, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. So hot, you play it everywhere. It's not Not Like Us. They Not Like Us. We got shirts, They Not Like Us, you know, like all of it. People online are like bringing Drake to the ringer, saying, oh, this is why he's soft. This is why he's a punk. He's suing and all this, but I'm gonna be honest with you. If it was just a regular disrecord, okay, fine. But when you accuse someone of being a pedophile. I know that takes it. And I know it's in the song and in the record and everybody's singing it. But when you accuse someone of being that. It takes it to a different level. Going after his character. Yeah. But, I mean, if it was just like a disrecord, which it is, but if that part was taken out. Yeah, but people who sponsor him or deals that he has or other people that he can work with musically. I mean, I'm still gonna listen to Not Like Us and it's hot and we love it, you know, whatever. But some people when they have like a stigma or that on them, sometimes, you know, it doesn't go away. When you accuse someone of being a pedophile. (upbeat music) It's almost like we have, what is it called, been desensitized? Yeah. I remember back in the day like when you said that word, it was like, oh my God, like there was like a bad word. I know. It was like a scary bad word. Like you don't say it. Like you don't say a curse word. Like you don't say that word. You know? And now it's part of the number one song in the country. The hottest song of the year, almost. Yeah. And people have gotten so used to just saying now. Like singing it and going along with it and then. Like it's nothing. I mean, some people believe it. Yeah. Or they'll share things or they'll make videos on like chat, GPT and AI and they'll make it appear that Drake is something that he's not. Yeah, it's the same thing when it goes. That's why he's taking it to this extent. I'll say this. It's the same thing when people are accusing different, and I don't want to get political, but politicians are being, you know, they say that they're that. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. And they piece together certain clips of videos. Yeah, and they say that they're, and they put music behind it, and they say that they're pedophiles. And that got real big in the political world as well. And then in, you know, Kendrick one after Drake saying that. And we're desensitized about it. Because like I said, back in the day, if you said, if you called somebody that. Yeah. That was like, no, that's a no, no. Like you don't even say that word, you know? Because I mean, obviously it's just like the worst thing ever. But now again, the world has just gotten so like, huh, you know, it's just like calling somebody a dummy or an idiot, or stupid, you know? It's the same thing. Dummy, idiot, stupid, pedophile, same thing. Like that, that's, it's gotten in regular talk. Yeah. And so for Drake to sue. It's serious. I can't say I right disagree. Can't say I disagree. You know, even though not like us, how to song. I mean, I can't really be that mad at Drake. Just saying. So nine, five, three texts in and get that money, Drake. He wants to protect, you know, his name. Yeah. I mean, I can't be mad at him for soon. He has, you know, a family and a son. And you can, again, you can say always a punk. It was just a hip hop beef and that's what they, that's what they do in all this. But. He's so in. I mean. Yep. Crazy. So, and then the other thing that was trending is now a universal pictures had to come out and confirm that Ariana Grande and Cynthia, they were paid equally for their roles in the movie Wicked. They want to shut down any rumors that have been trending online saying that Ariana Grande received $15 million to play Glinda and then Cynthia only received $1 million. So the reports of this pay disparity between the two is now, you know, going wild all over the internet and universal pictures is coming out saying that these statements are false. This is based off a false scam that has been trending on the internet. These women received equal pay for their work on Wicked. The film grossed $112 million in North America and $164 million globally upon its release. And it has become the third best domestic debut of the year, but both women were paid equally. But according to online sources, they're being drugged through. Universal has to come out and clarify. Is that something that like Jesse wants to see Wicked? Is that like? Yeah, we're going to go. I heard it's like almost the three hours. Yes, and we need time. Well, and I heard that it ends on a cliffhanger for part two. Really? Yeah, that's what I've heard. Wow. So yeah, we are going to go. 855, it's a Bill and Jessica show coming up. We have Dr. Sarah Glass, a trauma expert. She's on the way.
