But it's a holiday, so things happen, and it's just a busy time of year right now. And so not really much other than that, not really much going on for me, other than hockey. >> Me, I've been crazy, I tore my bicep, so we'll start with that. >> Stuck in? >> No, just that one time, but no, sorry, I was just reading something that I was online that we'll talk about here. But no, I've been remodeling my bathroom, which is painful because it's taking a while. But no, I'm redoing my bathroom and I went to go pick up a piece of plywood. I got the first one in, my wife was there, I got the second one up, and all of a sudden it just snapped, and my arm dropped down to my side, and I couldn't move it. I couldn't use it, I couldn't do anything with it. So my wife's there, and she's like, I think you might have dislocated your elbow. And I was like, I can't bend my arm. So she drove me to urgent care on a Sunday, or I'm sorry, on a Saturday. And it was, they took an extra, they're like, yeah, your elbow's fine. Nothing wrong with your elbow. But we need you to go over to, what's it called? Over to urgent care orthopedic, because we want to check out and make sure that you didn't tear your bicep, or attendant, or ligament, or anything like that. So I go and they're like, yeah, we can't do an x-ray. So I get the long story short, I get my MRI, and I get the diagnosis that it was pretty much fully torn with a few strands attached to the tuberosity. So like, how for, I mean, I did this what a week ago, Dela, I told you a week and a half ago, two weeks, it would have been a week or two weeks ago, it had to have been two weeks ago. But holy mackerel, it still hurts. I would, I would take this, I wouldn't, I wouldn't take my shoulder, Dela, over this any day. I'd take two shoulder surgeries before I had to deal with this again. It's just very uncomfortable. Okay. No, I'm just, I'm just saying, like that's, that's where my life has been. Like I've just been in, in, I've been all over the place and it's hard because my bathroom is taking longer than I want, and working like crazy, and starting up a new business. Like it's just, I've got a ton of stuff going on, but I have managed to pay attention to the wings. So with that, Dela, why don't we get into the beer league minute? Do we have to? Well, of course we have to. Well, obviously last week we didn't have a game. Because it was Thanksgiving. So going back the week before that, yeah, it's been that long, it's been a show, but honestly, I don't remember the game other than it was, are you drunk during it? Was it one of these drunk D on D log hockey games? I probably played like it cause I was just absolutely, I was probably the worst game ever played. I mean, I don't know, I just, I don't know, it was just, it was just, goals are going in left and right thing goals that would normally would stop and going and off me and from different angles and I don't know, I think it was like eight to seven or something like or eight to five or something, eight, no, no, I don't know, but I think we scored seven goals and lost. That's a beer league. I mean, there's probably seven goals, a couple of arguments, seven goals per team or eight goals, 10 goals, 20 goals. Normally we normally they're not the high scoring. Now, I got to ask you, Dila, really quick, I mean, I don't want to, no, go ahead and I'll save mine for that, I would use it in your minute, but there's not as much I could say other than I was pathetic and we score seven goals, seven goals. You should win the game, five lines, even in a beer league. I mean, especially in a beer league, you score seven goals. You should win the game. Yes. Yeah, of course, that's, that's definitely, you know, the object and typically in a real life scenario, if you score seven goals, you will win a game. But here's my, here's my point that I wanted to bring up during your beer league minute. And I don't know if you've seen them online, you know, but every once in a while, I see these beer league things pop up on these random sites and it seems like beer league is getting more and more violent. Now, trust me, I love a good violent game of hockey, but I like to watch it, not play in it because I know my limitations. Like, yeah, I'd love to be that big, bad, you know, player, but that's just, that's just not my skill level. Neither are these folks that I'm seeing in these videos. So have you noticed any like, have you noticed it here locally that any of the beer leagues are getting, you know, more fights? I mean, there's one, you probably saw this video and I'm sure the people listening have seen it, where a guy comes over and checks another guy and then he hits them on the head with a stick and then everybody's hitting each other in the head, the sticks. And it's like, Jesus Christ, guys, like, I'm sure all of you have a job to go to tomorrow because guess what? None of y'all is in the NHL unless they're like 20 years old. But I mean, still, it doesn't matter, like you're not going, you're not waking up and playing hockey. Like that's just not what you're doing it with your life. Like, that's, you're just not. So my question, again, D-Laws, are you seeing that beer league has become more aggressive? Well, I honestly, I mean, it has, but I think it's normal. I mean, it's always been, and I do score keep beer league and one of the leagues is it's a pretty good league. It's a C, almost like a B-C league, and this is going back a few weeks. It wasn't a blow, I was, the team was probably, I think they are lead by three goals. It was towards the end of the game. And then one team just, I mean, they go ahead and cover it and he pokes them and then the goalie house often pushes them and then they're big, there's a big fight and the rest got to like throw a couple guys out and it's like, and then of course, it's like, it's like 22nd of up the game. They're like, just run the clock, get it out of here. But why are they fighting? Because they're being it, it's just, they're being it, it's just, that's beer league. I mean, and I get it, like, I'm not saying we got to ban it and they shouldn't be allowed to win that and listen to that, just I like, I like the rough stuff, I've been in the rough stuff where you push the face mask a couple of times, but you know what? At the end of the game, you still shake hands and you still go up to the bar and have a couple of drinks. But when you're swinging sticks at each other like uncontrollably, like I am just not digging that like I just don't see like that's, that's like borderline assault, like just not even worth doing. I'm just thinking it's like carryover from, you know, a lot of these players that are playing in beer league now, do you supply youth in college? And so it's, I think it's carryover because that's the way they've always played and they just, that's the way they act. Yeah. But you know, keep that in your division where other people play the act the same way because when you're playing and acting that way in a D league, when you just stroll, when you're on break from your college team, for spring break or whatever, well, I'm talking, I mean, these are like guys that are already graduate from college and like they're adult, no 30 year old people. It's like, if you've played that level, then act your age, like it's good to, I have fun John, like Jesus, that was one of the funnest things that we used to do is just keep John and John and John and John and John, like it's just, it's fun. But when it turns to like violence and trying to assault each other, like it's just, it's crazy to me. But anyway, we've spent enough on that. We've beat that down. I just think that I've seen an uptick of it. And again, maybe it's just what I'm seeing and being fed info on. But you know, it's just, it's just crazy like that whole concept, just guys, you got to work tomorrow. Go out there, have a good laugh, get a good skate in, get some conditioning and go the hell home. Maybe the wing is need to do to start acting like that a little bit. No, maybe the wings got to go find some beer league guys that are, you know, piss asses that just want to fight people. You know, maybe that's what the wings got to do. A few games. Anyway, let's see. You start with the Islanders. This is before Thanksgiving. I don't know the 21st, I believe it was. Yeah, that's a long time ago. Yeah. I mean, they, they, they won, they won the game. So let's, uh, you know, let's, let's be happy about that. Bergen got a goal, Raymond got a goal, you know, overall, they, they played well, they stuck to the Islanders well, you know, they, they played them right till the end. I mean, it was, it was a great game, you know, gave up a penalty, um, you know, late in the third or in the third period and, you know, I, as we know, they're penalty kill, which I'm, I'm going to go on a little rant D law, but their penalty kill has just been atrocious, but they didn't give one up in this game, which is good. But yeah, they come away with a victory, you know, we'll, we'll take that. You know, like I said, it's always good to see your younger guys getting those goals. Um, like I said, Bergen and Raymond, you know, Larkin set that whole thing up. He's, he's just Larkin's such a backbone to this team. And I think a lot of fans kind of, I don't want to say take him for granted because he's not talked about like your, you know, to Chuck's, he's not talked about like your, um, obviously your McDavid's, your Matthews, your Stan Coases, but I think he deserves a little more respect like watching the kid play. He's all over the ice. He flies around. He just, he's a guy that just gives a hundred percent, like sure, could he have more skill level? Could he be a little bit bigger, a little bit stronger? Um, but the kids got, the kids got it. He's just, he gives it it all. So it's nice to see the captain get some points and keep that going. Got his fifth assist on the season. Like I said, the wings come away with a win there and then we go into Boston. This game pissed me off Dila and I'm going to tell you why Boston is a dumpster fire. I have been saying it for the last couple of years. I don't know about it, but Boston is in a position where they have given away all of their draft capital. Boston has given away all their draft capital trying to bring these players in, then they don't pan out. They've had no draft picks and the players haven't done anything. You know, they, they've, they brought in what O'Reilly for a couple of us. Was it all right? No, not O'Reilly. Oh my gosh, who did they just bring in from Tampa Bay help me out D law? Well, regardless, they've spent the money in the draft capital to bring these guys in and they just haven't produced. They haven't done anything. You know, last year I told my good buddy of mine, I said, you know, this is your year. You have nothing in the farm system. You have no good draft picks and you need to win the cup this year. Like you have to get something to show for all these moves, like this is it. And obviously they fell short. They come out this year. They're a dumpster fire, worst team in hockey, like they are just bad. Detroit comes out and lays a freaking egg. It's just ridiculous. The first goal of the game is a power play goal for the Bruins. This penalty kill is God awful, you know, they're the worst penalty kill in the league. They're terrible. They're at like 66% D law, 65.2 dead last. So they moved up a little bit, hooray. So they went from like one out of every three goal shot. But they're just, but it's just they're, they're a dumpster fire with that. But I'm going to get to the pros of this game to try it was outplayed. They didn't look good at all. They actually looked, looked pretty freaking terrible, but I will say this. I will say this, that Lucas Raymond gets another goal. The kid was just given a contract, like he's trying to get there. He's working on it. And you know, he's, he's, he's showing his worth. But you know, it's just, I don't know, lying had a pretty good game. Didn't let any, you know, he didn't, he went two for 29, which isn't too bad. Um, yeah, we've, we've just, we've had our struggles. We've definitely had our struggles and it's only just, it's continuously getting worse. But I'm going to go on my little rent here after, you know, after, uh, let me get through how far do you want me to go D law? Uh, you can go up until tonight in the Vancouver, if you want to throw all the way. Yeah. Okay. All right. Sounds good. So we're going to move into the Islanders again. This one we controlled a little bit better is a little bit better played game. And you know, they, they, they looked like they belonged out there and it was nice because guess what? They didn't allow any power play goals. Now, when you don't allow that many power play goals, you, you win games. Like it's funny how that works, but, you know, Simon Edvinson, he got an empty netter at the end. It was, it wasn't okay. I mean, he had to work for it a little bit. It was deflected at center ice, um, by an Islander who jumped to try to catch in and just didn't work out, but Raymond nets his fifth goal of the season. Dylan Larkin nets his, uh, 12th goal of season Larkin's on a good pace right now. You know, he, we could look to see him get, you know, if he starts heating up here and things start turning around for Detroit, I mean, at some point they have to start hitting some kind of a stride, um, and hopefully that's going to come soon. But Larkin gets his 12th of the season and most cider, he led the night off. So, you know, getting some goals from, from a number of guys who have just received contracts and need to show their worth here. And Detroit comes out with a four or two victory, you know, that was, that was a good game. Now let's go. We have Calgary coming in and this game, you know, it ends up going into overtime. And I guess what we allowed, guess what we allowed in the third period to tie the game up and force this thing into a freaking overtime, a power play goal, another one. Just atrocious. I mean, we dominated them in the face off circle. We only put up 27 shots. Now I know I'm going to go on a little rant here. Detroit is a boring team to watch. They're not physical and they don't create much offensive activity. They are so boring to, to watch. I was watched, I didn't watch complete games, but I was watched, you know, a couple periods, you know, and like before the, they played before the predators or just, you know, games. And I was kind of thinking the same thing. I was like, it's kind of boring. I found myself switching to another game and then switching back and be like, what the heck am I doing? What are they doing? Yeah. I mean, it's just, it was just, it's boring hockey. Like I, I like the win over times exciting, you know, it's nice to see Raymond get that overtime winner. Like that was huge. You know, that gives him six on the season. You got to brink of getting 10 assists. Siders got his 11th, like it's nice. It feels like things are moving. So, you know, Detroit, Detroit did okay. Now rumor for the Calgary and New York, I'm sorry, the Calgary, New Jersey, and Vancouver Games, which is at three game home stretch. Now in that three game home stretch, there was a rumor that if this doesn't go well, Derrick Malone will be relieved of his duties. And hey, I hope they take 10 game with him because he's our special teams coach and that is just not working out. I mean, they are literally losing us games. So, but anyway, the he would be replaced. A couple of names that have popped up have been Sergei Federerov coming out of Russia and Joel Quinnville making a reappearance into the NHL. So but anyways, but now we've got our first win in that three game series. They're heating up, if they go to if they can go two for three, Malone might have just saved his job for the season. So let's invite New Jersey to the table here. We bring New Jersey home, New Jersey, the hot team doesn't matter. But Detroit jumps out to a two nothing start, Raymond with his seventh, Terasenko finally gets his third, he's had a slow start. He gets a power play goal. Nice. Guess what Detroit gives up back to back deal. I'll take a guess. How are you going to take a guess? What do you think he tried aloud? Back to back here, power play goal, you got it power play goal followed by a power play goal. You got two power play goals that have been allowed. So we're going to fast forward to the third period. We go to the third period, New Jersey's up four to three to try to still in this game. Detroit gives up a penalty. Guess what they allow? They allow a power play goal and you know what that means? That means that they now have a two goal cushion and Detroit screwed. Detroit ends up scoring a late goal. Justin Hall getting his first of the season to try it loses five four, five four. Now if we had a penalty kill that could do anything, we win this game by two goals. We'll give them one power play goal because they are a hot team. If we can have our power, our penalty kill show up for one game this year, I mean, just one, they haven't shown up all season, but if they could show up for one game, this would have been a game to turn the ship along would have stayed there. You know, would have had his chances would be better to stay in to try it long term or at least finish out the season. And that could have been the game that could tip the tables a little bit and allow he tried to go on a run. Cause like you said, Dila, New Jersey's been playing good of late. I knew Jersey does have the liberal and power play. Yeah. And if the trade could have stopped that, that could have started a role. By the way, the trade drops a five four game just, you know, not not looking good. Just there, there again, they're not looking good. So now he treats one in one in that three goal or that three game stand that we talked about. So now let's, uh, let's bring Vancouver in. Let's see what Vancouver can do to us. Oh boy. That's, it's getting good for the wings. Well, I wouldn't say it's not getting good for the wings. I don't think it's getting good for, I don't think it's getting good for the loan. That's what I don't think. So anyway, what ends up happening here is the trade comes out burger and gets his fourth of the season, which is nice. That starts off the season. I guess what he tried to follow it up with back to back Dila, that was a question for you. Yeah. What do you think that was? Say the word, two of them back to back by the same bleep this out, please, by the same God, you're going to beep it because I'm going to say it person. We can Jake, Jake, the brass gets back to back, uh, I mean, like right back to back power play goals, 23 seconds and a minute six, he didn't even leave the ice and scored two, two power play goals. Was that before or after Tampa get injured, um, before, but anyway, so two back to back goals, they take that two to one lead. The brink, it gets his 10th. They come right back, X wing piece, police suitor, you know, he's having a pretty decent campaign. So he got his, uh, let's see, he's ninth of the season. So he's having an okay season and, you know, then it was just pretty much, you know, Jake DeBros got his overtime hat trick, another loss. It didn't go into overtime. We'll give him that, but Detroit just doesn't look like they belong, like they just, they just look out, match in every facet of the game. Like, but, you know, good game by DeBrosk, you know, I, I'm thinking he's having a nice sort of reemergence hat trick. What's that? He got a hat trick. Well, he had, he had the second period back to back that I talked about both power play goals. And then he had the overtime goal. So Talby got injured. And Alex Lyon, which I mean, he's, says he's four and four, but his same percentage is nine 11, which really isn't all that bad. No, I mean, he's playing okay. Anything over nine hunters, pretty good, but yeah, I mean, he's, he's playing decent hockey. I'll give him that. He's not going to be traveling on the road, on the road trip coming up. So what's the story behind that? Well, rumors are bringing costs up to have a little, uh, FaceTime with the NHL. But Billy, who's so is going to be starting? I would, I don't know. I mean, I would think I would look, I don't know. I mean, you're going to start who's so reliant. I don't know. I don't know what they're going to do. I mean, I know who's just going to be. It's going to be who's so reliant, but I had read that they're, I did read that they're looking to try to get coasts up here to at least get, you know, it won't be like cause they just said lines and that there's two game road trip and he's not, can we go and with them? Well, that might be the opportunity then. Yeah. I don't know. Like I said, I'm, I'm nervous because Detroit kills goalies. So, you know, we've got this kid that's coming up. This supposed to be pretty decent. I don't like the pressures. Well, no, I wouldn't say that, but, you know, I just, I don't know, we'll, we'll see. But yeah, that's, that's sad. Now I'm interested to see what's going to happen with the Derrick Malone conversations. I'm interested to see what, what's going to happen with, you know, the front office pressure, like something's got to give here. And it's got to happen soon. So, you know, we'll keep an eye on that. Maybe next show we can talk about, you know, where, where we are cause, you know, for all I know they could be having a meeting right now. Oh, they're kind of in the same situation as a predators. So I can figure you guys out, I, I'm not the only one I can't, the fans can't, I don't think the team can. I mean, it's got to be a coach. I mean, look at who Trotts brought in, like he didn't bring in buns. I mean, I just don't see Stan Coase, you know, degrading that fast from one season. I mean, he had a pretty good season last year and all of a sudden he's not doing diddly. I mean, I don't know. I think it's a coach, maybe it's a system. I thought it was a lot of sets that though. I thought it was the offensive system, offensive system on the Bruno, but I don't, you know, I mean, I don't know, but so last time we, you know, there was still a last show. They were just about wrapping up their road trip, um, Seattle, um, I had high hopes with this game coming off that win against Vancouver and they can't score. There's a really struggling in that category, it's the same thing every year. They just seem to score they, you know, and then they return home from that long road trip and they, you know, they actually played pretty good against Winnipeg, who's the hottest team, you know, league right now and they pretty much, you know, Winnipeg's been scoring like, like mad and they held the one goal. I mean, yeah, Saros was, Saros was actually a really good game in that game. They did manage four goals, um, but then I don't want to talk too much about the New Jersey game. You know, they dropped that one, they actually had a lead, it was in New Jersey, they actually had a lead in this game, um, but they, they just let Nico Heesher take over. He had the hat trick because that was actually his first, first career hat trick. I was a national hat trick in the second period and the second period is just not been good for the predators this year. You know what's kind of sad? You know what I hate the most, D-law not to hijack this, but when your team is looking to make that turn and the predators are very capable of making the turn, I mean, they can make the turn and still have a good run to the, to the postseason. I mean, that's not out of the question, but as a fan, it just really sucks when you're watching a game, it's like, Oh my God, they got the lead, you know, maybe this is going to kind of start that winning streak that they so badly need and they, they, they give up the lead. Yeah. And they didn't, you know, they were on the road in New Jersey, he was playing a really good team and they, like I said, they had a number of par play and they, they did give up a few par plays and, or, and, and that's sure how many par play goals they had. I can't remember, but they, they just, they didn't play, you know, being on the road, especially in New Jersey, who, who's been scoring goals, I mean, you know, they, they needed the, they play that boring road game, kind of like, I think that's kind of like what Red Wings are trying to do, except for a lot of times doesn't work. Uh, just, you know, shut, you know, play that boring road shutdown team and try to win games. You know, two nothing or two to one, you know, real low scoring games and they let, you know, he take away he sure and it's, and it's a two two. So, I mean, I don't know, um, and then they returned home, you know, Thanksgiving, they, they, so they're home for Thanksgiving, you know, they had a game before the day before and, and the day after Philadelphia was not really optimistic. They actually, I was actually watched this game and released most of it and they played a good game. Uh, but then they let a guy 11 seconds left. Um, I, I was just saying, I don't remember who's going to know. Scared right down the slide, 11 seconds left. You had to lead 11 seconds left. You let him skate right down the slide. He tips and it was a nice beautiful tip tied to game two, too. And then what happens in our time, they lose it and it's just like, I, I just, I, I, I just, you can't even fault the goal. I mean, Sarah, uh, at least Sarah was just playing this game and he, you know, he was making some great saves. They've played a really good game except for the last 11 seconds. And I just, as an A shell, I mean, you don't do that in really let alone any shell. I mean, he just, they just let it, I just, I, I keep saying that, but it's just like, that's the most dangerous spot in, on the rink is the sly area and you're just going to let him escape right in. I don't know what their defense was. And then of course I didn't get to see this game Friday night or I didn't see the last two games actually, it's probably a good thing to back to back overtime losses three to two. Not sure if they were leading it all in this game, in those gains, but I didn't get, you know, I didn't see. So, you know, luckily they got three days off through, uh, before they played Toronto on the fourth. So I don't know, maybe a little reset, but it's just, you know, another overtime, you know, yeah, you get points, which are good. But you know, right now you need two points, he wins. And I just, I don't know, I don't know where this team is heading. The fans are getting upset about Stankos. Stankos is frustrated because he said some things in the media. I just don't, I don't know. And then they, you know, they traded Philip Thomas, you know, to Pittsburgh for a fourth round traffic. He was been a healthy scratch, why they didn't, and he's, he's last year, he's played some, you know, he's gotten a line up and he scores some goals, I mean, he's not going to, but probably I can put 40 goals in for you right away, but he'll, he'll probably chip in 20. And what you do with Pittsburgh, I don't know if it's his first game with Pittsburgh, he scores a goal. I mean, you know, it just, I don't know why the prayers didn't give a chance. He's been out, I mean, we don't know about the, we don't know about the locker room situation. Maybe he wasn't a good locker room guy. You know, maybe, you know, maybe he wanted out and it just didn't come out that he wanted out. I mean, there could be a number of different factors and maybe he just found a system that fit him, maybe he found a culture that was good for him. But when he was in the lab with the predators, even last season, he was doing pretty good. But I, I'm thinking, I'm wondering if he had a little beef with, or if Bruno has a beef with him. Yeah, I just, I mean, he was a healthy scratch and he had, let's see, well, he had just, he had seven goals last season in 41 games. So, I mean, but he had 20 points. So, but he, you know, then, you know, going back to 21, 22, he played 76 games. And then, and then the next year, today, he played 31, and then the last year, he played 41 games. So, and then, well, he played 11, I don't know what he played, he played 11 this season, but he didn't, he's been, he was a healthy scratch for most of the season. So, I don't know, but, and then they went and traded Wedgewood for Colorado's, kind of a rookie, or not a rookie, a younger goaltender in a Noonan, he's 24, Wedgewood is 32, I believe. So that, you know, and, and Noonan, when he played with Colorado, and the games he played and that I've seen him play, he actually looked pretty good. So we'll see what he does in Nashville. So, you know, hopefully, I don't know why, I don't know, again, not sure why they will trade Wedge. I mean, it's that, obviously not Wedgewood's fault, it's not Sarah's fault, as far as just can't score. And, I mean, looking back at the last few games, you know, you know, lost 32 over time, you know, I didn't see those games, but they, you know, I'm sure they had a lot of chances, you know, and then they lasted, you know, Philadelphia, you know, 32 over time, and, and when they were leading two to one, they had a lot of opportunity to increase the lead. They couldn't score. They only scored two goals against New Jersey, they didn't score anything against Seattle. So, you know, they just, it's not the goaltending fault. And I don't know why they would take it, take it out on the goaltenders. I mean, I don't know, it doesn't seem like, trying their back of goalie for, I mean, it's probably for the future, because he's a little bit younger, but I just doesn't seem like, it's not a fix for this year. And before I get too, too far out, I'm pretty much done with the recaps, but I want to go back to the New Jersey game, kind of leading, you know, I know we haven't had a ran room and I can, I'm not going to go into the ran room music. I just go for it. I'm interested to hear what you got to say, just, Timo Meyer is on New Jersey, you know, he was experiencing Jose. He had a really, really bad, cheap shot, crossjack to Luru, he's been playing really good lately. It was in the third period. He did get a five minute major, and it gave us conduct, which the predators actually didn't do nothing on the far play, five minute major power play. And they didn't, I think they had maybe two shots on it. And that, you know, that in itself, you know, was a huge reason why they lost that game, you know, if they would have scored at least one, one on there would have changed the game. But I was, you know, it was just, it was an all good cheap shot. Luru did kind of push, he was, he was a battle, kind of like in the front, kind of near, then it kind of carried over towards the behind of that kind of near the bars. And he was pushing him, but he didn't really crossjack him, maybe a little crossjack. But it was just, you know, they're pushing, you know, something, you know, things happen. But then Meyer just absolutely crossed checks and rates of face. I mean, and this was asked the whistle, obviously. And I was thinking, oh, he's going to get a decent suspension on that. You know, it was, I mean, you watch in the game and see the guy after the whistle. It wasn't even during the play, it was after the whistle. I mean, I mean, obviously it probably doesn't matter, matter of whether it's something like that, whether it's during the play or after the whistle, but especially after the whistle, because the whistle, you know, the play is done and just skate away and go to the line up or go to the bench, but the way he, you know, just just the way he did give him a major and throw him out of the game. And what does the NHL do? I don't even remember what the guy's name is, the player safety guy. He's perils. No, he's still there. He doesn't deserve that job. He's proven over the last two or three years and how many times a week on the show alone talked about how incompetent this guy is. He is so inconsistent on what he hands to different players. He gave Timo Meyer a one game suspension for this, and it was a two-handed cross check after the whistle, and he received a five-minute major in the game, and the game has got in the game, and he gives him one game, which, I mean, he's $45,000 in the salary for the one game, which goes to the player emergency fund, which obviously all they all do, and he finds suspensions, anything like that. Yeah, he has no history, he's only got one fine, but I mean, that shouldn't matter in this situation. I mean, yeah, he's got no history, he's got one fine, but this was a two-handed cross check to the guy's face. Yeah, that's pretty brutal. And to compare him with some of the other incidents this year, I'm sure we've talked about, Tanner should know. Oh, yeah, you're old buddy. He got, he was, this was an illegal check to the head, which basically the kind of, I mean, it wasn't a cross check, but it was still a hit to the head, and this was against Brock Besser of Vancouver, and he got three games, and he received a match penalty in this game, which in that game that he did it, and then Reeves, our old buddy, I mean, he's got a pretty good answer anyway. He used to spend five games for the same thing, you know, illegal check to the head against Edmonton, there are no nurse. He received a match penalty that time, Matt Steinberg, he received two games for charging Eric Chernak, who's on Colorado, I believe. He received a major penalty, and a game is kind of out. So, I mean, right there, he got a three game suspension, a five game suspension, a two game suspension, and then T1 wire one game suspension, all pretty much basically for the same thing. I mean, it's just, I don't understand where this guy is coming from. I don't know where does he base his decisions on, other than, you know, the history, and you can't go by, I'm not sure what he, I'm not sure how he does any of it. You can't even go by history. I mean, yeah, if the guy has a history, the guy doesn't have a history. You need to base it by this incident. I don't care if he's got an incident, I don't care if he doesn't have an incident. And you base it on this particular play that you're ruling on, I mean, yeah, yes, maybe you're a little lenient on the fines, if he doesn't have a history, or, you know, if he's a repeat offender like Marshawn, I don't think that is, you know, but I just, I don't understand where he, I just don't understand where how he comes up with these. Is it him or is there a guideline in NHL guideline? I'm not trying to, I just, I, there's got to be some kind of discussion about it. To me, to me, this team of myers should have, it should have been a minimum five games. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not sure how they decide all that you are, and the, and the NHL, it's been an inconsistent for years. And the NHL is supposedly trying to do away with the head, the high hits, the head hits. Now, they keep saying that, but to me, there's no, there's, there's nothing proving that they're just, it just mow, they're just, they're saying, oh, we're, we're going to get rid of head hits. Well, you're not doing anything, you don't want to get rid of head hits, punish them more, give them two, five end majors in the game and then suspend them 10, 15 games, or find them, you know, if it will then again, if you suspend them, take away their salary, obviously, because I mean, there, there's some suspensions where they still get paid and some suspension where they don't get paid. But it, I mean, yeah, maybe, maybe they don't want me, maybe they'll be like, okay, yeah, so I sit a game or two or five games, yeah, big deal, it's a long season of rest. So good, good, good for me to rest. But really hit them in the pot, in the money, in the wallet, you know, give them, give them heavy fights. Maybe then, then maybe- Maybe if that'll change anything to be honest with the D-law? Yeah, maybe they don't think about that one there in the early, so I don't know, but I, I just don't, I mean, in this situation, it was after the whistle. I mean, I, I don't know, I just, I, I don't know what these guys are thinking. I mean, so, so a guy pushes you, you don't, you, you get pushed back, but you don't cross check him in the face. He knocked, I, I believe he knocked the tooth out. Yeah, I think you did. Couple. But, yeah, I, I, I, I, I'm done with this topic and I'm just, I, I'm sure we'll talk about it a lot more. I'm sure it'll come up again, some other player, and I just, yeah, I just, yeah, I don't know. But I mean, there's, I don't know if we're talking about a last show, one, you know, boss had fired Montgomery, I don't remember if that happened, that, no, that was after. Okay, so he got fired and then, I mean, he had to take the fall, somebody had to take the fall. They're, they were, they were in pretty deep trouble, so I think they got an interim culture now, but Montgomery ended up, I think it was like two days after he got fired, got hired by St. Louis and it's kind of funny how I didn't think St. Louis was all that. I mean, they were, they were bad, but they weren't like as bad as even the predators. Well, maybe the standing wise, but I, it seemed like come out of nowhere as far as go is to go out the bench. Okay, so he's fine, just an interim, but it's like St. Louis is just, it's almost like they were just like waiting for Montgomery to get fired because as soon as he got fired, all of a sudden they bring Montgomery in and they fired their coach. I mean, it's just like, there was no warning, I mean, I don't fall St. Louis, so I don't know. Maybe he, maybe, I don't remember his coat, the name, you know, the old C. Louis coach they fired. I don't remember his name now, but yeah, he, so Montgomery, he seems like he's turning them around. He, let's see what St. Louis been doing lately, they, they are, they're climbing up a little bit. They just had no more time when they're four, four, and two in the last 10s. So they, I guess they're starting to turn it around from, from, from Montgomery, and Boston's definitely, they definitely turn it around after firing Montgomery and, so, and I, I don't know what I just mentioned in that little rant about me taking a minor, you know, how, it was, it was, it kind of injured Besser, but, oh, you know, I think it was. So he returned, he missed seven games, I, oh, yeah, it's, you know, the him. So he, he missed seven games, and you know, we got five, so maybe, maybe that's another thing. Maybe, maybe he's just spent players for the amount of time that, the guy that he, that the danger is out, but, so Besser, he, he missed seven games and he's back, and I believe Matthew's is back from his injury, a batch can, you know, last show we were saying he just got injured. He was on a record pace, so obviously he's still 26 behind the record, but we'll see what happens when he comes back, but he use out, he'll be out four or six weeks, he's got a broken leg. I don't, I don't believe we did not know about that on our last show, we just know he was injured, but, one thing that's before the injury, oh, Besser is on pace, he was on pace to break the record and get the record in 1443 games played. Grasky did it, his 894 and 1487 he's played. So this might change that a little bit. Oh yeah, it stings him a little bit. There's no doubt. So he might still, he might possibly still do it in last games played on a win, but yeah, it actually might possibly, because he'll best just play, yeah, 1443 games played. So he, yeah, he could still do it, because obviously he's not playing. So we'll see what happens when he comes back, so hopefully he can continue his goals going pace. Not to the wash in a row, he needs them right now because they're doing pretty good without them, but because I had mentioned about Meyer, what is only one game suspension, and I believe that was, that's the only, the only one we have, only really commend, kind of slow about that. Although Malcolm ends the door, I've got fined for something that happened in their game. The Bruins Penguins played all, slashing in on sports from like conduct, they probably just got slashed and didn't like it, and of course. So I don't know why they didn't find them for that, because the door was fined a penalty for, I'm supposed to only connect and Malcolm was just a spelling for slashing. So not sure why they would find them for that, it doesn't sound kind of, like sounds kind of dumb actually, I mean, it's just a plunge, I don't know, but that's, you know, pretty much all the stories that I got, I'm saying, yeah, no, you know, you hit them all Dila. What else we got going on, I don't know if there's any, any rants that air did you talk about your rants or no, yeah, I, I wind and complained about everything I was going to complain about. I mean, to try to penalty kill is just atrocious. It's definitely time to make some kind of a change here. It's definitely time to shake something up because it's just, it's not getting better. I mean, I already beat this soapbox to death, but, you know, try this just on a track to be pretty freaking awful and, you know, we got to, we got to figure out how to turn that around. So did you see a target, he's coached the Vancouver, this happened, that I came in what the game was, but he called out some officials for ejecting hues, which is their star. It was a nasty check and then he hit him in the numbers and what I mean was by that. I mean, like, from the back and it was new to boards and it was, in my opinion, it was a crack all, he was the guy, he was against the boards facing the boards and hues gave him a little check in the back right on where his numbers are and put him in the board. I don't think he injured him. They did give him. They, obviously, they ejected, they, they must have given a major, the ejected hues and tockets was out crying and I didn't, he obviously didn't get a fine because I didn't see them on the final list. So I'm just wondering how a coach can get away with calling out officials like that. Because that's one thing the angel does not like is when they get, when coaches single out officials, they don't like it when you do that to their officials. And rightly so, I mean, it was a crack all. I don't know if you see this hit or not, but no, I don't know why, why he wouldn't say that, why he would, I mean, I don't care if he was just like their guy, I mean, the rules apply to everybody, not just certain people. And you know, he was might be their, their star, but he has to follow the rules is like everybody else. So I mean, I just don't, it was probably right after the game. He was probably so upset, but still that's, I mean, you're a coach in the NHL and you need to use, you know, by now they know, and he's been around the league for years and yeah, he played and he's coached, you know, as far as, you know, obviously had coach, but he also was assistant coach. And so he knows what he to do and what I to do. And I just, maybe for his sake, he was just frustrated, you know, after the game and just know, said some things that he probably kind of wished he didn't know, though he didn't not get fined, at least I didn't hear that you did. So I just don't, yeah, I don't, I don't understand how, how, how you can do that. I mean, it was, if he looked back and I'm sure he has by now looked back at the video and seen it was a crack call and maybe he would change his mind. Yeah, yeah, but I just hate, I hate the inconsistency that drives me nuts. I think that's just going to be a thing. It is. I just, every time there's a precedent, there's a new precedent and it's just a nightmare. So I guess we can move in the pred wings 10 kind of change a little bit, but I, I, you from, I, I, I had mine sat and then I just kind of tweaked a year because I had a staff for last week and things, things happened over over the last week, but I still got one to peg at number one, they're starting to slide a little bit, you know, they're a three game leading streak, they're four and six to last 10, but you know, they're still leaving me in jail, 36 points, they're 91 at home, and even nine three, or I would so I still got them at first. I got New Jersey moving way up from six to two. Their first and their, actually, their second, their second of division, they were, but they got 34 points, six and four, their last 10. So they've slipped a little bit, they are, they are on a three game leading streak. And then they got washed in, I had washed and falling, but they rebounded nicely. They are, they, now they took over the Metro, Metro lead with 35 points, six, three, one, their last 10, I actually got four to falling a little bit because I was in New Jersey watching it or hot right now, they're, but they're back and first and their division and the athletic over New Jersey who had briefly took their division, but they're, I mean, they were, they had lost four, but they, you know, they're, they're kind of bouncing back. And I actually got trying to moving in to, to line up at five. First and second with 30 points, there ain't two of the assets that are, they're pretty high right now. Carolina six, their third and the Metro with 31 points, they're eight and one at home and they're five, four and one at last 10. I got another team that's brand new this week in Atlanta and the 10 is Vegas. They kind of quietly, you know, moved, moved in their first in a Pacific, 33 points. There are three winning streak and they're into a home, which, and then I got Tampa Bay. They actually moved up a little bit from last week. They are sitting forth even when they dropped a little bit. And then I got another team that's moving in to, to my lineup, kind of surprise, probably Buffalo. I should let the next two are probably a surprise. They were, they dropped a little bit from last week when I put them in, they were sitting fifth. They were fourth for a briefer a little bit, but they got 20 points around three game winning streak right now, but their goal differential is a plus four, which is they were a minus at one point. So they're, they're, they're improving and then running out my top 10 is Boston, because since since they change coaches, they've really stepped it up. They're now third in the division, the Atlantic division with 27 points and just a new coach. I know he's probably just an interim coach, but they're at the last 10, they're five, three and two. So things are looking up for Boston, you know, we'll see if they can keep that going, but, and then we see the Colorado, Vancouver Minnesota and Kings have all dropped out. The Kings kind of, Minnesota is still good, Colorado is still good, but, you know, they, I'm sure they might go back in, Vancouver is still up at the top. The Kings just, they just, I've been kind of watching some of their games and they just, they look too inconsistent, some days they look really good, it depends on their opponent. Sometimes they look bad, so I can't really, I can't put them in and I don't know if they'll be coming in anytime soon until they can figure this out, but my, the team, the team of the week for me is Toronto, they were at a four game winning streak. Actually, they still are at a four game winning streak and, you know, they're kind of, I guess they're actually at a winning game winning streak right now, but they're eight, two in their last 10, but so they, they, they're kind of a shock as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, I mean, for me Dila, you know, looking at some of the different stats that are out there, you know, I agree with some of your, some of yours that you have out there outliers to make, yeah, buffals have a, and a good little run, but, you know, they're, they're not going to compete against a New Jersey or Winnipeg, you know, so I, I got to keep Minnesota and Winnipeg, you know, interchange them at one or two, that one doesn't even really matter to me. They both are playing really good hockey. They've really found their groove this year and they're playing good. After that, I'm probably going New Jersey. You know, again, they've been playing good. They're finding ways to continue to keep winning. You know, they're a younger team. So, you know, I'm going to go with them at number three followed by Washington and you mentioned it also when you were recapping with Ovechkin, even though the captain's out, they're still finding ways to win hockey games, which is, which is huge. So, just imagine when he comes back to the lineup, you know, I think he's going to be, I think they'll be a force to reckon with. And then I think I'm going to go with Vegas. Vegas has been playing some good hockey followed by Carolina and then I'm going to put LA at probably number, probably number seven or eight, because I like the way Florida has kind of picked it up here recently. You know, they've, they're also at fifteen and nine and one. You know, but, but here's, here's a team that I like as Dallas, because they're playing well, they're fifteen, eight and oh, but they've only played 23 games. So, they've got two games ahead as of right now. And I'm going to go, I'm going to go Toronto. I agree with you all. So, I think they're playing really good hockey. I think they're another team that's finding ways to win. And they're just, you know, they're, they're playing as a unit. I mean, they're firing on all cylinders and they just, they look good. They're playing good and they're creeping up in the, in the standings here. And I think if they can stay healthy, just like any other team, I think they've got a really, really good chance to keep creeping up. I think they're a team that can, I think they're a team that can really put it on. I think they've got some players that still have some tread left on their tires that can contribute, like your Johnny Tavares. But I just, I don't know, I just think that, I don't know, I just, I think they can, I don't know, I think, I think Toronto's a team that they're always on the cusp. And, you know, they're always, they're always right there. They've been outed by Boston for the last several years. To the playoffs. Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's where they got to find it. But I, I think if, you know, Tavares has how much time left. I mean, he's 34 years old. You know, he'll be 35 next next year. I mean, how much, how much tread does he have left on his tire? You know, that's, that's what you got to think about. And I don't know. I don't know. But anyway, I'm getting into a Toronto talk. But yeah, Toronto rounds out my top, my top 10. And just briefly, for Milwaukee update, going to come out for one against Rockford, they, they dropped on another loss. None again to Grand Rapids. Then she does, so it doesn't seem like, seems like the griffins have their number this year. I don't think Milwaukee's beat them yet this year. But they're, they're sitting, they're, they're sitting 10, 4 and 1 and 2 over 2 shooter losses or 23 points. So their home record needs to get a little better at 3201. But their own record is pretty good. It's 7211. So we'll keep an eye on that and see if see what happens down in the farm and I don't, I don't haven't watched anything with the griffins. I'll, I'll be honest, I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I have, you know, I know that we've got some guys down there that the last I checked they've performed well. So, you know, it's just maybe next show, I'll have some time with my life to get more into the NHL side of things. Yeah, I haven't really what I really have been paying attention to Milwaukee either too much yet. So, but as far as the picks, I see for the predside Seattle. Actually, I got Seattle and Winnipeg both wrong. You got Seattle correct and Winnipeg wrong. We both got in the New Jersey game correct. We both got the foot off here wrong. And we're split on Tampa Bay. I was right, you were wrong. And it was just reverse for Minnesota. I was wrong. You were right. And then on the island or on the islanders on the red wing side, Islanders and boss. I was wrong. Oh, you had one, two, three had four in a row, right? You got Islanders, Boston, Islanders and Calgary. All right. The at New York game, I was right. And then the Calgary game was wrong. And then I got the New Jersey maker. We're right. You got a New Jersey wrong. And you got to think over correct. So that leads us into this week's picks up until I believe the eighth next week is the eighth. So next shows the eight. So looks like we got we're pregnant going to a little Canadian road trip, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa. I'm going to see a loss of Toronto. I'm going to say a win of Montreal because Montreal is like that last bad. I was playing pretty good lately. I think I think they're going to lose to Ottawa. You know, I'm going to think I think I'm going to go the exact same thing, Dila. I do. And then over on the Detroit side, we've got, let's see who we got here. We've got Boston. I think Detroit, I think Detroit is going to squeak that one out. And then we've got Ottawa at Ottawa. I think we can win that one. And then I think we're losing the last two. I don't think we have a chance. The seventh. No, well, that's the way to the ninth, but we should record on the eighth. I'll put the ninth to so. So I for the wing said, I'm going to say a win at Boston. You know, even the boss have been playing pretty good lately. I think these are due for loss. And I think the trail kind of find a way to get back in the main streak or winning, winning, winning road or winning, winning or whatever. I was, I'm playing pretty good, especially at home. So last, Ottawa, and then a lot of Colorado. And I'll probably be doing this again next week. Who knows? But Buffalo, I know Detroit hasn't had a good luck in Buffalo, but I think I'll find a way to win somehow. Yeah, Buffalo's kind of, I mean, I know I had it in my head, but they're kind of last week, they're doing pretty good. And it's just what do you think they're due for a losing streak? Well, the last five days, they haven't really been, you know, they're five, like I said, they're 541 last week when I when I had done when I done my original 10, they were seven and three. So they've dropped a couple games since then. So, um, but as far as the overall, you, you, you got me on the overall 30 to 27 right now. 30 correct to 27. Um, we're tied on the pred side. And you got the edge on the wing side, 17 correct to 14 correct. So it's even though I, yeah, so we'll see. Um, so that's pretty much, you know, pretty much did our previews, I guess. Um, I was thinking that's pretty much all I got. Yeah, me too. I think we covered a lot tonight.
