Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. I'm your host Matt and right now I'm talking to Michelle Solts, who is the owner of Your Time to Shine, which can be found in Alberta, Canada. How are you doing today Michelle? I am doing fantastic, thank you Matt. So tell me more about you and your business. Yes, so I am, as you mentioned, the owner and I'm the founder of Your Time to Shine coaching and I am a life coach. So more specifically, I am a happiness and empowerment coach. Most of my clients choose to partner with me because they're already navigating life pretty successfully, but still feel there's room to grow, that there is an opportunity to lead in even more satisfying and meaningful life. Usually things start with a free consultation where we get to know one another and see if we're a good fix. During the call, I share more about my coaching approach, learn about what the client hopes to achieve and answer questions. From there, I offered tailored one-on-one coaching in packages suitable to the client's needs. Most of my sessions are virtual through online video conference, in part because I live pretty remotely. You mentioned I live in Alberta, Canada, but I also live at least a couple hours from a major center. It's also because it's incredibly important that clients feel a sense of trust and connection with their coach. So holding sessions virtually means clients aren't limited to selecting a coach just because they live close by. So what are some of the common problems that your clients tend to have and how do you help them out? It varies a lot and it's very client-centric and client-specific, but a lot of times it's really just that feeling that there's something more to living a fully satisfying, fulfilling and happy life. Maybe they're feeling stuck or they're not sure which direction to go, they're at a crossroads, or they just want to be more intentional about how they're living their life, making sure that it's lived without regret. They want to do the work to figure out what that path forward looks like for them. Is there anything about you or your business that you want our listeners to know about today? Sure, there's lots that I could share, but I would say the hardest part for me about being a coach is not the coaching, but it's connecting with the right perspective clients. Many people don't fully understand what a life coach does, and there are literally thousands of life coaches out there to choose from. So it can kind of be like finding a needle in a haystack for a coach to find clients that are a good fit for each other. So I created your Time to Shine coaching to reach a wider audience, so I can connect with people outside of my own network. And I guess an important piece about me is I am actually semi-retired, and I only coach because I find it rewarding and fulfilling, not really for financial reasons. So you won't ever hear any pushy sales pitches or feel pressured to hire me as your coach. My objective is really just to share the benefits of coaching with others and help them shine brighter. That's good to hear. And for anyone out there who's curious and wants to learn more, what are some of the best ways to get in touch with you? Well, I do have a website, and so it's always great to take a look at that website. It's yourtimetoshine.ca. On that website, there's ways to contact me via email or telephone. So, yeah, lots of ways to get in touch with me and start the process. Alright, well, Michelle, thanks again for talking with us today and sharing your story. Thank you for having me, Matt. Now you're welcome. And take care. You too. Bye-bye. To the rest of our listeners, stay tuned. We'll be back with more after the break.
