We're here again, another week, another episode. I'm Tobias Powell, one of your hosts, join with Trent Powell, your other host. How you doing Trent? Doing great. Movie chronicles, we are here to chronicle for you what is going on. It's been a good, like, last few chronicles, there's been a lot to talk about, good discussions. We never know where this is going to go. We plan out, we have some new stuff, but usually we end up going on a completely different route that we're planning and diving in, all kinds of crazy stuff, which is fun, good, I love it. For sure. So Tobias, do you got anything for us to start off? The most recent thing would probably be the How to Train Your Dragon trailer came out for the live action version of the movie, which is literally just a live action version for shot, remake, shot for shot, because, I don't know. So what's your opinion of all these live action movies and everything's a shot for shot remake except for Astrid. Yeah. They even got Gerard Butler to dress in a fat suit and be a Viking, gosh, yeah, but Astrid, you know, see, okay, we're diving right in, okay? We don't hate black people, do we hate black people? No. Do we hate black people in movies? No. All right. I just got done. Well, okay, I was going to say I got done watching, like, Rocky's first movie came to mind. I love Rocky. You know, Apollo Korean is one of the best antagonists, I think, in a movie, and they do a really good job of developing his character throughout the films. I love Apollo Creed, and it's not because he's black, there's nothing to do with his race. I like him. Star Wars, Mace Windu, awesome character. Oh, Lando Karisian. I love that character. I used to be a big Will Smith fan. I'm not like a huge Will Smith fan anymore just because of recent stuff, but as far as movies in the past, I mean, come on, bad boys, I am legend. Wild Wild West, Wild Wild West, I'm just thinking of movies that I've joined, but Will Smith, I like Will Smith. It's not because he's black. Denzel Washington, I'm going to go see Gladiator 2 once we drop off this podcast. And guess what? The only thing I'm excited to see in Gladiator 2 is Denzel Washington. Yeah. All right. I think he's going to be, I'm just curious to see how they're going to handle his character and what he's there to do with them. And I love Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. So there you go. Oh, what was the number one movie on my movie reviews list? Uh, what was it called? Josh Hank Redemption. Josh Hank Redemption, yeah. Who next to the white guy stars in the movie and has a very common woman who's actually the main focus of the movie. If you look at it from the right perspective, well, we're free man. Sorry. Anyways. Yeah. For a good off track. What do you think of Astrid being a person of color and? So dumb. I mean evil Viking age tribes. Yeah. Please. Well, I remember we talked about it when it first got announced and we were talking about how dumb it was, but after seeing the trailer and seeing how they're literally doing a shot for shot, like remake, which is, we'll get into that as a dumb enough itself. But the fact that Astrid is black, it's just like, it stands out so much because it's like, we know this movie so well, and then all of a sudden it's just black Astrid. Yeah. Yeah, go from the blonde hair, blue eyed girl to a black dark haired girl. Makes sense. She's going to stand out. Is there going to be other people of color in this movie? I don't know. I kind of don't think so, but maybe they're all be. Yeah. But it stands out. Well, have you seen the picture of all the other characters like who's the chubby kid? Oh, this is the twins. They're all white. Well, this is a period piece and they're on an island. How many? It's mythical. Of these people, how many black people do you know that they have a Viking background? None. There weren't. None. Yeah. There aren't. These are the whitest of white people. This is where white people came from. This is the whitest part of Europe. You're up. Western Europe. Okay. Yeah. Whatever. Yeah. What do you think of the shot for shot remake and not doing any original or anything at all? I like how the dragons look for the most part. They don't look too animated, but they look like they're animated counterparts, but it's well-transitioned in the live-action CGI. That's fine, but so the question is, do we want to see a live-action, how to try and drag them? Maybe we'll see the animated movie put to live action. I don't know. I mean, it could be cool. I like Vikings. I like dragons. I like the period this is set in. So sure. Like, it could be good. I could enjoy it, but does it have to be shot for shot remake? I don't know. I don't feel like it should be. No, I mean, I thought it could be pretty cool, but I mean, it's like, if I want to watch how to turn your dragon, I'm going to watch the animated one, not the live-action one. So it's like if they did like a new story or something or even just changed it up and I get it's all based off of book two, but they're still seem to be basing it more off of the animated movie than the book. Really? And this is why Trevor should be on the podcast because he's read like all the books. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. We have another brother who sits behind the scenes. Yep. He should join Trevor if you're listening, which you are. Join. Join us. Join us. Join the anime and try to train your dragon. Anyways, I don't know. That's the thing with these live-action remakes is you can go two routes. You can go a shot shot remake or you can go your own creative direction by still telling the similar story. Just make it look a little different and add different elements and add your own elements to it. It's like, but I don't know, I just don't know why they don't do that, but whatever. Yeah. So, that's that anything else you want to say about that? Not really. Well, that's the thing. Are they going to do the sequels? Are they going to do the second movie and the third movie and do shots for shot remakes of those movies? Like, I don't know. I love the high train dragon movies. I love the first one. It is incredible. Like, almost, yeah, it's like almost a perfect animated film. It's really good. Hopefully, if we have time where we talk about animated films at the end, giving our tier ranking list that we did weeks ago, and we're still trying to do, but anyways, that one's on the list somewhere. Yeah. It's a good movie. So, yeah. Well, that was the first on my list. So, just because we can't stop talking about Star Wars, it sounds like Lucasfilm has removed their 2026 slated film and replaced it with... Episode 10. No, no, like, replace the slot, like Disney, replace the slot with Ice Age 6. Oh! Okay. Yeah. They're not doing a movie in 2026, so that means we'll get the mandolin and grogu movie next year. I don't even know. Next year. And then, we're not probably not going to see a Star Wars movie until, like, 27. So this Rey movie trilogy, whatever, New Jedi Order, excuse me, New Jedi Order is not going to happen for, like, three years. Yeah. Two years? I don't know. Whatever. How are you, Matt? I mean, that makes sense, I guess. Yeah. But it's been... How long since we got into Star Wars? That's going to be almost eight years. Oh, yeah, I know. If we get in 27, it's... Well, okay. Besides the mandolin and grogu movie, yeah, it's going to be, like, eight years of, like, a Skywalker-era saga, but I don't even know. Okay. I was going to ask this question at the end of the moment, and ask you here, okay? To buy it? Do you think that the, like, honestly, do you think the Rey trilogy is going to happen? Like we're going to see three movies that focus on Rey somehow, or, or she's going to be some Obi-Wan-type character setting up the next generation, are we going to see that trilogy of movies? I think it's possible. I don't know that maybe they won't get through all three movies. I think we'll see at least one, though. Yeah. I go back and forth. I think, yeah, like, yes, we will, but at the same time, they can't get a movie in the theater. They can't, they can't keep it. They keep firing directors and writers or writers, step and directors, step down. They don't want to work with Lucasfilm, just one thing after another, it's like, I don't know, like, is the Harmin Beishanoi, whatever her name is, Rey movie going to be a part of this? Is she still hired up for, um, with Disney? Is she doing the movie? I don't know. Doesn't really, it might not, that might not be the case because they're doing a trilogy now. And it's just, I don't know, like, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen. But I also wouldn't be surprised if it does, because, because they've said that's going to happen and they're like, they're going, they've hired, they hired a writer. They got a guy who's ready to write this film. Yeah. No, what's crazy is that after all these years, this is what they came up with. Yes. Exactly. Our focus. I don't know. I don't know, I think we talked about this last week, but they, they said that the, the main, yeah, we did talk about this, but the main, the most vital character in Star Wars right now is Rey. I don't, I don't, who, who, who's telling you that? Why are you getting that from? Yeah. And maybe that's true. It's just, oh, it's probably because you don't have very, very, very many relevant characters. Yeah. I don't know, man, I don't, yeah, well, you ruined all the legacy characters. And so now you're just trying to set up your neck, the next generation, but it's not, it doesn't have feet underneath it. It's, it's not going anyway. So who knows? Yeah. But I did writing in studios that we like to bash and, and, and make fun of, apparently the Batman two, James Gunn, so, okay, here, let me back up. So Matt Reeves, there was a rumor that Matt Reeves had finished the script for Batman two, but James Gunn, I think posted on X, like the other day, and he said, basically that, no, it's not done, it's still, he's still working on it and we're excited to see what, what it's going to be. So from, from the horse's mouth, now James Gunn has lied a lot, actually. He lies all the time about movies, projects and things going on, and he's not, he's not very honest. So he could be lying about it, but it sounds like the Batman two's not written right now. And, uh, after, and, I thought they were like filming it or, no, no, that's crazy. Yeah, it's, I don't, I don't know if that movie's going to happen, but after the, the Penguin success, it's probably more likely to happen. Um, and maybe that's, maybe they're rewriting it because they're like, Oh, wow, the Penguin is really good. So let's incorporate him a little more and let's kind of go in that direction. Maybe. Yeah. Who knows? Probably. Yeah, I'm sure they, I'm sure they're going to go more in the direction of Penguin after that. I mean, it's like, how could they not? So, oh, speaking of thing, when I finished it. You did. Okay. Yeah. So, what do you think that ending, bro? It was spoiled. I knew it was going to happen. Oh, really? Okay. I saw it, I saw it on Facebook, so, but, um, yeah, I mean, it was kind of just, we're like, we're like family, uh, as we're like family now, I'm going to kill you. Yeah. I want no attempts. Yeah. Man, that, that sucked. I thought he was like going to set up for like a villain in the future and he's going to play prominent role going forward, but no, uh, that's, but, you know, I mean, that's, that's how you create a villain. That's all I got to say. Yeah. No, I like, yeah. I mean, the, the best part about that is like they made it very clear this man is evil. He is a villain. So anybody that had any sympathy for him or was like, you know, feel bad for him because of his past. No, he was just evil for evil's sake. And that's what they did in the end. Exactly. Yeah. He had a rough past. Yes. He went through things, um, that made him to be who he is, but he bless me. He, yes, he was evil or yes, he had things happen to him that led him to where he is, where he ends up being, but he's also there because of the choices he made and like light of his past and light of the things he went through. And well, and then again, it's like he was still evil as a kid too. He let his brothers die like, yeah, I mean, he left them to die. Yeah. You know, it, he's evil and they made it very clear and that was set up well going forward and for whatever they have for the character, it's like, yep. He's the bad guy. He has a cool past or he has an interesting past that adds a lot of depth to his character, but you don't also, you also don't really feel sorry for him and that's where it should be. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. That was, it was a good show. I like it totally. And speaking of villains and villain related shows, have you watched student prophecy? No. Yeah. Okay. Um, I'm not going to, I'm not going to spoil it, there's nothing really too spoil. Um, it's okay if I get my quick thoughts. Yeah. Um, it, it was boring, it, it, there was a lot in the episode. So like, I mean, I love dude, I, I, I literally today I just finished, uh, listen to the audio book again of, of, of the first book and, uh, I'm not, and, and I started doing Messiah. Um, so I'm working through that one, which is a lot shorter, but, um, man, I love that universe. I love, I love the book and I was excited for the show. I'm still interested to see where it's going to go, but they didn't really give us any, there was no, there was no really hook in the show that like, you know, first episode, you got to hook us. You got to give us something that like gets you intrigued. You have to give us at least one character that you, you know that you're going to follow and you're interested and you want to know what happens to them next and so forth. And you want to see this journey that they go on, but there's, it's not really there. Um, there's, they go, they give us a lot of characters, but none of them are likable, a lot of them are boring and I don't know. And it's just, I like the, the, the atmosphere, I like the, the setting, I like the, the feel of the show. I like the, um, the tone, I like the costumes. It all feels like doing, looks like doing, um, the first like five minutes of it is pretty decent, gets, it does draw you in, but then he kind of loses you because there's just so much happening and a lot of exposition that's unnecessary and it's just, I don't know. I was, I was let down, say that, we'll see where it goes, but, um, I don't know. Well, I'm not sure because basically you're following, it's, it, you're following a bunch of villains. I mean, basically, these are the, the Betty Jesuits, they're, they're not the good guys. Um, they are the ones that, you know, the woman cults that, that, that was sent out throughout the galaxy to plant seeds of prophecies and manipulate cultures and, you know, kind of be working behind the scenes, uh, and, um, taking over societies and cultures and planets and, and so forth. And, and it's interesting, they're interesting. They're very interesting characters. Uh, it's very interesting, interesting concept and idea that, that, uh, Frank Herbert set up in, in Dune. So I could be good. I don't know. It's just, it feels, it feels like Denis Villeneuve's, um, Dune, as well, so that was good. Mm hmm. We'll see. It's, uh, and I, I'm not, like, I, I don't think casual people, viewers are going to like this. I don't think it's going to get views. Good reviews. Reviews. That many views. At least in the first episode, there was nothing that really hooked anyone. Like, it's, this isn't the Penguin. The Penguin started off in low viewership and then gained a lot of viewers after. I don't think that's going to happen with this. You have to be really into Dune till I even like it. And then even then, you don't really like it that much. So it's, yeah. Uh oh. Oh, and also it, you know, it's another, it's another show about a cult of witches, you know, you can't, you can't get a little bit of the, the acolyte and agatha vibe. A couple scenes is like, oh, this is, I just, I just watched this a bunch of times and I don't want to. Yeah. Yeah. Well, did, did you see the, um, they could, they, the actress who's playing Silver Surfer was confirmed, yep, Julia Garner, yep, yeah, it's funny that way this long to confirm it. Yeah. Confirm, it was, they, it wasn't even like they're like, this is his cast. It was, uh, through the synopsis that we were able to figure out. Right. Yeah. You have it. Uh, no, I don't think I'm going to pull it up. Yeah. While you're looking that up, I don't know, we already knew this, but it's like, okay, it's confirmed this is the direction they're going after the, you know, the last two phases of the MCU, which have been a complete dud. They're kind of doubling down with, uh, the female Silver Surfer. No. Norin Rad. I'll go and read it. Go forth. Force to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond. They must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus, played by Ralph Inneson and his enigmatic herald, Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner. If Galactus planned to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren't bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This is Galactus's Silver Surfer. So. I don't know, man. Yeah. It's not, I don't, I don't get it. I mean, I do get it. This is, this is what they want. This is the direction they're going. They take every male character they can find a female counterpart and she's going to be better than everyone. She's going to best everyone. I mean, yeah. The Silver Surfer is a very powerful character, but it's going to be, it's going to be very obvious. It's going to be over the top. It's going to have some weird tension between her, her and Sue Storm and it's just going to be meh. Yeah. I know for sure. I guarantee you, Sue Storm is actually leading after what that being confirmed and with all the rumors about her being the leader, I bet you it is. And then I bet you because it's a female Silver Surfer that there's going to be that, that relationship with that tension that's going to drive the movie. And that's because she's kind of in charge. She leads the Fantastic Four and then she has a female villain that she's going to fight as well. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be a horrible movie. I hope not, but yeah, probably. Comes out on Maribel Nye's anniversary though. Oh yeah? Valentine. Wait, you got married on Valentine's Day? No, it comes out on July 25th. I thought it was Valentine's Day. What comes out? Valentine's Day. They must have changed it. IMDB says July 25th, 2025. Oh, wait. I knew you didn't come here in February, there's something coming out in Valentine's Day. I thought it was fantastic, but whatever, but yeah, Pedro Pascale loves being bossed around by women anyway, so it's true and well. This is true. This is true. This is true. This is true. Yeah. Yeah, the original poster said it was coming out Valentine's Day, so yeah, well, they changed it. They pushed it all the way back to July. Maybe they announced it on Valentine's Day, maybe not. Speaking of Marvel, did you hear about the poster change on their website? I don't know if it's their online banner or something, but it's the MCU Marvel banner, wherever it is. It had She-Hulk in it for the longest time, and they released a new one where it's everyone's the same, but they replaced She-Hulk with Deadpool. These took She-Hulk out. The only one that they took out, and then they replaced it with Deadpool. That's hilarious. That's great. Yeah. It's kind of a troll, too, because it's Deadpool and that's just something Deadpool would do. He would just replace himself. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. It's funny. It's weird that they did it, but it's fine to go for it. Yeah. That's funny. Yeah. I know. What else is going on? Did you hear-- oh, it really sta-- image for Gue-- ah, messed up. I got-- I can never get his name-- Gula Mero De Otero-- Torro, Guemaro De Torro, Guillermo De Torro. I can have his name, right? Never will. Guemaro De Otero De Otero. His Frankenstein movie, they released the first image. Oh. It's interesting. I know. I'm not like-- it's not what I was expecting. It was like a weird tone. I feel like it's like Wizard of Oz or something, so I don't know. It just looks different, but hey, I'm here for-- I'm-- Guemaro De Torro. I can-- I can say the name in my head. How do you spell it? Spell what? His name. Oh. It's G-U-I-L-L-E-R-M-O-D-O-D-E-O Torro, T-O-R-O, Guillermo De Otero. Is it in black and white, the image? No. Remember, he did-- he did Blade 2. We talked about him a little bit when that happened, when we reviewed Blade 2. I just typed in the first image and it was the first thing that came up. It's the Vanity Fair first look. Oh. Like, where he's looking through like a glass window? Yep. That could be interesting. I know I mentioned that you see the pile of-- The pile of body parts? Yep. It's going to be interesting, man. I'm here for another more modern take on Frankenstein set in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. I love that book. I've read it a couple of times. I'm actually going to read it again, kind of in preparation for my horror podcast, which I'll do eventually. I forgot about it. This week went by so fast. I was going to record tonight, actually, but I'm not going to do that tonight because I'm going to see Gladiator. I worked a long day, and I'm tired. By a long day, I mean 14 hours. But I'm here. Record and podcast because I love doing this. But anyways, Frankenstein. Yeah, I like Frankenstein. There's a lot of good elements from the story, and the book was kind of the beginning of modern horror, the modern horror genre. Mary Shelley really created the genre, and I'm going to do a full episode on Frankenstein in the future, talking about her past and her story, what led her to write Frankenstein, and kind of unpacking why it was so culturally significant then, coming off the French Revolution and the rise of the sexual revolution, and Frankenstein being basically an image for the monster that's created in light of man trying to be their own gods and trying to like the Greek god Prometheus, trying to catch fire from the heavens and bring it down. That's basically Frankenstein is trying to create life, but it ends up creating a monster. Just as sexual revolution was seeking to pursue something that was good and that humans delighted in, but it became a monster in and of itself and the ramifications and all the horrors that came from the sexual revolution during the 17th century, 18th century. My brain's not working, whatever century that was, but anyways, Frankenstein, I'm here for it. Yeah. What do you think about it, what do you think about Frankenstein? Or Guillermo Datoro, Day of Toro, Datoro, Frankenstein? They make it look cool, I mean, yeah, it looks like it'll be fun movie. You said he did Blade 2, right? Yeah. Yeah, I remember we'd obviously watched it, or we reviewed it and talked about it a little bit. Yeah. Oh yeah, it looks interesting, it'll be fun. Oh yeah, I forgot, he did the Hellboy movies too, I want to watch, I haven't wanted to watch Hellboy one, Hellboy 2 is not very good, but Hellboy, Hellboy 1 is good, he does a lot, yeah. Ah, spooky stuff. About things with vampires and monsters and things beyond the grave. Anyways. Yeah, he's got quite a line on Patchley. Pan's Labyrinth, have you ever seen that? I've not, actually. You? I haven't finished it, but it's probably something I should go back to, but yeah, it's quite a crazy movie. He did the Hobbit movies. Well yeah, it says a screenplay, so he was involved in writing the Battle of, oh, all of them. Well, they sucked, so, you know, whatever, just get, it's been a while, I should watch it before I... They're pretty good. You can extend a cut, yeah. As movies themselves, apart from the book, they're good. Okay. Honestly, I've seen each of them I think once, and that was it, so I don't know. They're kind of forgettable for me, but it was also, they also came out during a very busy time in my life, so maybe I should watch it again. Yeah. Well, the one thing they actually did that they was dumb was that they shot it in 30 FPS and not 24, so that's why it has like a weird feel to it. Yeah, it does have a weird feel. Too much CGI with the Orcs that really bothered me. And that doesn't, and the 30 FPS doesn't help at all for the CGI, it makes it way worse, so... Yeah. A lot of poor decisions there, but... Yeah. All right, what else you got? It's pretty much it, well, I was gonna, I don't know, did you watch the Mike Tyson, Jake Paul Fi? Actually, I know you watched it. Oh, yeah. What'd you think? I tried to watch it. Did it not buffer for you? Did it not work? Like it buffered all the time. Oh, yeah. I probably saw a total of five minutes of the thing. Eventually, I gave up because, I mean, like, I was like, this is so dumb, we've been trying for like 30 minutes and have watched like five minutes. And so I just saw the highlights after, for the most part. Yeah, because this was like probably one of the most viewed things on Netflix. Yeah. I don't know if that... I kept saying, I'm like, I'm like, did they not expect this? Like, what are you doing? From what I heard though, is it was actually internet services that were having trouble because everyone was on at the same time watching streaming Netflix, and that's never... Oh, interesting. It's never happened. So like, Netflix, they don't do live stuff, they just release, you know, their shows. And of course, people jump on, you know, when Stranger Things season five comes out, everyone's going to come on around the same time, but it's going to be spread out. This was live, you know, first time everyone's streaming it. And I think it sounds like it was the internet companies that were having trouble keeping... But we had no problem watching anything else on any other streaming services. Well, right. Because not, oh, well, I see. Yeah, I don't know. Who knows? It could be Netflix. It could be Netflix too. Take the blame somewhere else. Probably. Like, it's the internet. It wasn't us. Well, what's funny is I was on X, and like, I see everyone talking about how it's... It's buffering for everyone. It's not working. It's like... Yeah. It was working fine for us. Oh, really? We didn't have any problems. Wow. So... Yeah, it was fun. I mean, it was really trash for us. It's okay. What you didn't miss anything. I know. But that's the thing is what I did see was the dumbest fight in the world. Ticing came out. These two guys are not fighting each other. They're just dancing around. Like, they both had their arms down, like, they weren't even trying to offend themselves. And when they were hitting each other, it was like wimpy. And then Jake Paul would kind of like back off because he's like, oh, I think I hit him too hard. Yeah. Oh, he's a six-year-old man and I need to... It was all just kind of a sham, you know, but it was like the most successful sham ever because everyone watched. Yeah, I know. Everyone talked about it. It's what it is. It was cool to see Mike Tyson fight. Like, I got... So Dad was with us, you know, and he'd watched Mike Tyson back in his heyday and his heyday. And so, like, cool being able to watch it with him and whatnot and see Mike Tyson getting the ring again. It was just... He came out, like, ready to fight. Like, he was quick on his feet. He got some good punches in and he, you know, he probably won the first round at least and maybe half of the second round. But then after that, he just, he was gassed and he just couldn't do it. I mean, the dude had like a medical emergency like six months ago, you know, he, you know, he had something like an ulcer or something and he had to be hospitalized and everything. That's why the fight didn't happen back in July when it was supposed to. He was like, he's old. He's been through a lot physically. Like he's gotten his body beaten time and time again, you know, and yeah, it just... And you have Jake Paul who's half his age in the, in his prime fighting, yes, he's Mike Tyson, but he's a six-year-old Mike Tyson. Granted, I just realized the other day that, that Rocky, that Sylvester Stallone and Rocky Balboa, Rocky Six, he was 58. He was 58 and he was throwing, he was doing just fine. He won that fight. Pretty much. Yeah. Yeah. No, no. Yeah. I don't, I, I don't like, I don't like Rodney Six. But mostly because of the story, it's cool to see him come back and I like Sly and why not. Speaking of Sly, have you heard of the show, Tulsa King? Mm-mm. Apparently, it's really good. It's star, it's star Sylvester Stallone and it's apparently really good. So it's show. I think I'm going to watch it, but anyways. Yeah. Yeah. Tulsa King. Maybe we can watch it as well. I'm not, I'm, we could talk about boxing movies and, but Rocky, I love Rocky, Rocky, Rocky One, it's one of the best movies ever, but I'm not going to get that. Mm-mm. Yeah. That's pretty much it. Yeah. I know. It's just a related fight. Yeah. The Tyson Cheeks. He just said, it's like one of my favorite clips, like he just does not care. And like the, the camera like, the camera like zooms in on his butt and then it goes out. It's like, well, wait. And he's like, he's, he's getting interviewed by this reporter and he's like, I love youth and he kisses them. And then he turns around and walks, he's walking away and his butt cheeks are hanging out. The six year old man. What is this? Yeah. Oh man. Oh man, some of the memes, some of the funniest things, and like the, you know, some of the memes, it's, it's, it's buffering, but it's buffering on that. Oh yeah. It just freezes this stuff right there. Yeah. That's funny. My Tyson is just a, he's a character dude. Yeah. All right. You want to do the, I'm a fiend to my, uh, tier list, let's do it. Cool. So we're, we're at last, after last time, I actually got to pull it. Yeah. So we're, we are doing our T S tier list of animated films because we love animated films. Yeah, and once I find it, we can pull it up. Um, do you remember? What was the last one we did? I can't even remember where, when that was, oh, this place, I don't remember. I just remember. I got, I got. Sorry. Nope. That's Halloween. I got to go find it back. Okay. We're very professional here. I'm sorry, I, I literally was pulling it up earlier and then I got distracted and didn't. Okay, we cut this out. It would have been this second or third week, dude, where? Oh, here it is. Got it. Okay. Last move that we did was Toy Story three, which I gave it, are you gave it S tier? I gave it a tier. Toy Story three is S tier. Anyways, we put it in S tier at the end of the day. So it's by the next movie we got on our animated tier list is the Incredibles. So it is just Pixar. Well, pretty much Pixar, like, like I said, I want to IDB and I picked the top 25 or so animated movies, had to move, move a few. Incredibles would be S tier. Yeah, I mean, the first Incredibles, man, is just incredible. It's S tier. Like, I just, I could, yeah, man, I love going back to that movie. It's so, yeah. All right. Let's get one more Pixar and then a non-Pixar, Ratatouille. Um, this one's a tough one. Like a B. Yeah. I was going to say B as well. Like, it's, it's not bad. It's, right, solid animation, it's got, you know, so much decent story. I think I always bothered me was, I don't know, I don't think Remy is that good of a character. I don't know. He's not that likable of a character. Like, it's just kind of get, he just, he's very selfish about the film. I understand he learns that, learns the lesson by the end, and he was immature, so maybe I'm just speaking ahead of myself, but, oh, yeah, I say it's beat here. It's not bad, but it's not great. Right. All right. But the iron giant, I think you'll know where I put this one. Uh, yeah, I probably asked here. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know it. Iron giant is 100% an S tier animated film, S tier film. It's why it's in my top 10, 10, it is incredible. It's good movie. Yeah, in a lot of ways, it's about, yeah, I'm, I can't wait to, well, we'll be reviewing it eventually on movie reviews, so, yep, all right, and now, back to the Pixar. So, Toy Story 2, we're done Toy Story 1, Toy Story 3, Toy Story, so Toy Story 1, you put it in beat here. I know it was, if you wanted, did you change, I can't remember, I think you changed it. Yeah. We ended up changing. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, end up changing. Okay. Um, yeah, Toy Story 2 definitely asked here. That's my, probably my favorite of the three. Of the three. Like, three might be my favorite now, but two is definitely up there. Yeah, I think one is, it's hard because like, that was, well, it's the first Pixar movie, but also it's just, I don't know, it's just, it's the OG, it started off the, you know, the trilogy and, I just, I don't know, I love the first Toy Story, but I also love the second one, I think the second one has always been my favorite. So I think that's, yeah, it's probably still say it's my favorite. Third one though is also incredible in its own ways. That's why, that's why I say it's a perfect trilogy for the most part and it's all, it's an S tier trilogy, but Toy Story 2 is also an S tier movie. Mm. All right, Fantasia, Fantasia, do you, have you seen Fantasia, like, I don't think I've ever seen it. I've never seen it. Really? I watched it as a kid. I love Fantasia. I don't remember ever watching it. You know what it is, right? Yeah. Yeah. I like the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Nick Cage. Yeah. Yeah. That's one of my favorite Nick Cage movies. Really? Yeah. Okay. I love that movie. I don't, I've definitely not seen it in a long time. I don't know. I think I remember like you. It's got one of my favorite songs. Really? And it's, and I learned, I, that's where I first heard the song too. Secrets. Yeah. Secrets. Yeah. Yeah. One Republic. Yeah. One Republic. That's funny. Yeah. I remember that. So the animated version, the OG of Sorcerer's Apprentice. I'm sure Fantasia's great. It is great. I mean, it's like, it's not, it's just, it's, it's, it's, it's very cool animation. It's well, it's, so it's well animated. The story's not like the, it's not much. It's not narrative driven really. So I'd say because of that, it's like probably like a, a seat here for me. All right. I think against it really, it's just, just not like incredible. So speaking of live action remakes, but this is the original, the OG and I literally watched just two nights ago with my kids because they wanted to watch, they wanted to watch King Lion. But it's the Lion King, they call it King Lion. But what do you, what do you think about the, the Lion King to buy a, for me, it's like an A, I guess, okay, can't find. Is there a reason why it's not perfect, it's just, sometimes it's not the most entertaining movie, way to, what, what, not the most entertaining movie, what are you talking about? We have way too many movies in the S tier, but I'm, and obviously you're gonna, well, you said A, I say S, I don't know, man, it's somewhere in the middle. I mean, yeah, I mean, it's good movie. I don't think, like it's, it's neuro, it's nearly perfect, in my opinion. I don't know, it's the Lion King, it's just, it's classic. Not that we have to rate it, I'm not, it's classic, but speaking of classics, going back to the beginning of, of Disney animation, the Snow White, I said, no, it's not, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I haven't seen that movie in a very, very, very long time, so, sure, I haven't seen it in my adult life, so, I'll, I'll put an A tier really say, yeah, yeah, A tier, I mean, it's, it's a great story about a, a prince who goes, saves the princess from the witch, and, which is something you're not gonna see in the live action we make. Speaking of Rachel Ziegler, do you see that she is rumored to be hired on for a Marvel project? Wow. Cause, you know, Disney wants to work with her more, so, anyways, I think it's a good place to stop, we knocked off quite a few there, we need to stop putting so many in S tier, but there's a lot of S tier animated films, okay. May all mix it up a little bit and get some other stuff that's not all Pixar. I do have how to train a dragon, fantastic Mr. Fox, Shrek. I don't own very many animated movies, I don't think you've said very many of them so, said very many of what, of the movie, of the animated movies that I own, and I don't own very many of them, and the ones I own I like so, surfs up where you put surfs up. S tier. How is this Cody's that, Cody's meat bro, yeah, it's, it's probably S tier, it's pretty D, it's pretty good, pretty good. Barnyard is like, whatever's above S tier. What? Barnyard? Are you serious? Have you not seen it? Yeah. I, I, you know, like race on a play in the video game. You got to watch it Trent. I think I watch it. You know it starts Kevin James, right? Yeah, I know it starts Kevin James. You got to watch it. What? Okay. I, I think I watch it with my kids, I, it was, it was, it was fine. I, I got to get out of here. So, yeah, this was fun.
