What's up, everybody, and welcome to the first of two big Tuesday editions of the podcast today. This is our 500th edition of Snake for Breakfast. I'm Roan, I've got Noah here with me, and as always, there's lots of breaking news. Donald Trump dominates Cash Patel to be his FBI director. We'll bring you all the latest on that. Donald Trump's foreign policy continues to take shape as he's meeting with Justin Trudeau and jet-setting to France for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral this weekend. Joe Biden pardons his son Hunter, and no one's shocked. We'll analyze. And the Dems are limping through the rest of this lame-duck presidency as they look for answers and pose new leadership, as the Trump 47 White House looks like it's locked, loaded, and ready to go. We've got a great slate of guests coming in here today. Florida Congressman Corey Mills will be joining us. We'll also catch up with Tennessee Representative Andy Ogles. Keith Self will be here, the congressman from Texas as well, and we'll catch up with former Trump attorney, Christina Bob. But before we get into any of our interviews, let's jump right into the headlines and change the way you consume your news. Monkey, this is not nom. This is bowling. There are rules. Hey, hey, hey, junior! America! It's like... FOUR BASTEST! So stand by! All right, everybody, welcome to the Stake for Breakfast podcast. I'm Ron Nose here with me. Yo. If you're a first-time listener, welcome to the show. If you're a long-time listener, welcome back to America's Fastest Growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcast on a busy news Tuesday. And at the start of our 500th podcast episode, Noah, congratulations. How you doing? 500, we made it. We did. What do we do? Do we get a medal or a pardon for all crimes until four o'clock this evening? Well, it's pretty funny that you mention that, Noah, because we are 48 days until Donald Trump has sworn in. We should have Senate confirmation hearings. Definitely around the same time as that. We might need a 48-day pardon then. Consequently, we're going to be starting out with the biggest news of the weekend, and I hope everybody can really appreciate the absolute love that is being directed this man's way, and that is with Donald Trump. I don't want to say finally, but finally, nominating Cash Patel to head the FBI. Noah, what do you think? I mean, I'm such a- I'm getting excited. Joyous occasion is our 500th episode, and not really any way to celebrate on a podcast, but we couldn't have had better news. I now have two out of three of my Christmas wishes already made. Donald Trump's going back to the Oval Office. Cash Patel's going to head the FBI. New York Yankees, if you're listening. I know the winter meetings are coming up. Let's sign Juan Soto, and I won't have to ask for anything. Physically, for Christmas, it would be completely content. It's a celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But, Noah, honestly, this news, there was a lot of speculation about whether or not Donald Trump was going to make this pick maybe closer to inauguration, because the fact that it didn't seem like Christopher Ray was ready to step down or was going to, I guess he's going to have to be fired. But the fact of the matter is that your terms are acceptable. Yes. When you look at Cash, you look at the complete body of work, the resume, 16 years as a federal prosecutor. He actually went to court and put big-time baddies away, not like the failed Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris. You know, often opine that she did. However, you can never find a case. nominee? Was she? We'll talk about that in our second edition of the podcast as well. But we could never find a reference point for any of these big baddies that you put away. However, she did put a lot of African-American men in jail for a simple possession of marijuana charges. And then didn't let them out because they wanted them to fight forest fires. There's that. But when you talk about Cash Patel, now, listen, everyone was hyped for home, and everyone was hyped for gates, then he got out. Everyone was excited for a couple other, you know, there's the people who like the RFKs, there's the people who like the Tulsi Gabbards, there's the people who are enjoying the fact that Vivek Ramaswami and Elon Musk are going to be contributors to cutting the fat when it comes to the federal government and it's out of control spending. But the way that I saw Cash Patel received on social media this weekend was nothing like I've ever seen before. I'm honestly going to compare it with when Donald Trump won the election back in 2016. Yeah, people love this idea of him doing that. And we may have thought he was going to get something else. I'm fucking stoked that he got this one. This is what he wanted, and this is where he will be best in helping to make America great again. And you really can't say enough for not just Cash Patel the man, but the guests that he's been on this show, the friend that he's become to both of us, and the fact that through the good times and the bad, he was really appreciative of the fact that once this became official, he was able to say, "Thank you for always being there with me and having my back." And again, I want to remind our listenership. Outside of podcasts like this, and very few other media entities, in the wake of the 2020 presidential election, and after what the media made January 6th out to be, there was no place for any of these former Trump administration officials to go. Those didn't want them. CNN only wanted the ones that were writing like oppo books on what it was really like, fake news. Inside the Trump White House, you know, the choking out of the secret service through the back window of the beast or throwing the cheeseburgers at the wall. They wanted those guests. They didn't want Cash Patel. They didn't want Devin Nunes. They didn't want Matt Whitaker. But all of these guests were here. From day one, we reached out as soon as we could find points of contact, and they were willing to come onto the show and talk about the America First movement, what the Trump doctrine meant at the time. And I guess leading into this election cycle, what it meant moving forward. So we are very appreciative for our relationship with Cash, but more importantly, we're appreciative for the friendship that we developed over the years with him, as I really do consider him a real-life friend. He also made his illustrious appearance to X finally. I don't know if you guys have saw that. There's been a lot of people saying like, unless Cash Patel posts a picture of him holding up a newspaper and saying, "This is my account. I'm not going to believe it's him." Guys, gals, it's him. I asked, and his response was, "Yeah, Elon made me." So if you go on to X and find-- Let me give him just Cash, C-A-S-H? Cash underscore Patel. But he's already got the check mark. And I believe it will be a great check mark eventually to which people won't be able to deny. The fact that it is the government designation for one, and it will be Cash Patel. But that is him. We can't thank Cash enough. Thanks for following us on X, because we've brought in about 2000 new followers on our social media, because the first thing everybody does is look to see who they're following. Obviously, Cash is going to follow thousands of people. I think he's following about 100 or so, and we're right up there. So people are just clicking our name and coming over and seeing all the great stuff we've got going on down here at the show, including. I don't know, two dozen or more hits with Cash Patel over the years? Yeah. And I wonder if anybody at the FBI listens to our show, because if you do, we don't all think you're terrible, all of you. We know there's some good guys in there. But if you happen to bump into Cash in the elevator, just ask him if he likes Elk for Breakfast. There you go. He is the biggest Elk for Breakfast. Enjoyer. Or maybe a PBR. So this kind of, yeah, always a cold PBR, definitely put the media on its ear over the weekend, as there were a lot of people unhappy with Donald Trump, making the only decision we knew he had to make in regards to this agency. And you know, it's the way a lot of people in and around Trump world have exlated out for me. Like, yes, Cash is going to be a wrecking ball. Yes, Cash doesn't care what people think about him or the job he wants to do, because his intentions for this country are true. But if Cash goes into the FBI on day one, and opens up the books, and opens up the dossier's, and just does his job, he is going to make some changes at the FBI that people have been calling for for decades. Now, us all knowing Cash, he's going to go in there and do a whole hell of a lot more than that. So set the bar as high as you want, he will exceed it. But when you just talk about being transparent, being honest with the American people and investigating the people that need to be investigated instead of targeting people for political measures, you won't see any more of that out of what used to be a pretty upstanding agency when it comes to law enforcement for the United States. So, we cannot be happier for him, the news broke Saturday morning, early here on the West Coast in the form of a truth social post I'm going to read it right now. This is from Donald Trump's official account. I am proud to announce that Cash Patel will serve as the next director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Cash's brilliant lawyer, investigator, and America first fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending justice, and protecting the American people. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia-Russia-Russia hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution. Cash did an incredible job during my first term where he served as Chief of Staff to the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of the DNI, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Cash has also tried 60 jury trials, and the FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across our border. Cash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back fidelity, bravery, and integrity to the FBI. Pretty awesome post from Donald Trump to say the least, and then Cash Patel responded on truth social within moments, and he posted this. It's the honor of a lifetime to be nominated by President Trump to serve as the Director of the FBI. Together we will restore integrity, accountability, and equal justice to our justice system and return the FBI to its rightful mission. That is protecting the American people. So, it didn't take long, and within the hour, CNN had former disgraced and fired by President Trump, but rehired and given back his federal retirement by Joe Biden, Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, on to talk about how dangerous this was for the country, so as we're getting ready to jump into the audio portions of it right now, let's hear it. Andrew, I just want to start first with you and just get your reaction to this news tonight. Yeah, well, it's a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI, and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent federal Bureau of Investigation. The fact that Cash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate. So, I think what we should really be thinking about right now is what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump's intent for the FBI? The installation, or the nomination, I guess we should say at this point, of Cash Patel's FBI Director can only possibly be a plan to disrupt, to dismantle, to distract the FBI, and to possibly use it as a tool for the President's political agenda. And, you know, as an organization, we know what that looks like. This country has been there before, right, the pre-Watergate FBI, the J. Edgar Hoover FBI struck fear in the hearts of Americans across the spectrum of politicians, people in entertainment, people in the civil rights community, because the Director operated at the President's to collect political intelligence and to utilize the legal authorities, the investigative authorities of the FBI, to terrorize and intimidate Americans. So, the question is, is that where we're going back to with this nomination? I would argue that Cash Patel would be the perfect person for Donald Trump to nominate if that's, in fact, his intent for the FBI. No. What do you think? It's kind of a dick. Say the least. I don't like him. Actually, I hate him. And when you talk about the word salad he dished up there, talking about how his FBI Director served President's, that wasn't the case with James Comey, was it? I'm trying to find Cash Patel on X. It's still kind of weird how the Cash Patel thing, like, it doesn't show up immediately, but you have to go all the way down to the bottom and then go go to Cash Patel. That's weird, right? He's got a little bit of a shadow ban. How is that a possible thing on X? Sorry, interrupt. I honestly think that they throttle accounts a little bit because of the amount of people that are following it at the same time. Oh, it makes sense. Yeah. Well, you know, when you talk about Andrew McCabe and some of the narrative that he was trying to push out there, saying how FBI Director serve the sitting President's, what? In what way shape or form did James Comey serve Donald Trump? In what way shape or form did Andrew McCabe, as the Deputy Director of the FBI, serve Donald Trump to the point to where he was fired? You know, and it's the retribution that all of these mouth breathers are looking for, because what's going to happen is, there's going to be a threat. There's going to be receipts on where the direction and the vernacular, the priorities of this agency have been directed towards over the course of the last, I don't know, 12 in the last 16 years, to say the least, probably 16 out of 16 if you include weaponized against Donald Trump. And the American people are going to be very unhappy with the results they get when they ask for answers. Now, taking the 7,000 people who supposedly report to that agency in Washington, D.C. on a weekly basis and sending them back out into the field to do the job that they actually signed up to be. You think it's going to make a deep state museum out of the Hoover building? You know what? I think there probably will be portions of it. But the unfortunate notion is, is this is the, like, Andrew McCabe was the least deranged narrative that I heard shortly after, you know, Cash Patel was nominated. Here's a clip right now. No, let's listen to this one. This was CNN, following the McCabe piece, going right into why they are proprietating Donald Trump selected Cash Patel. The fact that this is even a seat that we're talking about shows how much Trump is planning on putting his people in. And now this gets to Catel. There's no one less. I mean, there's a lot of people less qualified to run the FBI FBI. There is no one that the only reason why Trump would have done this pick is for his Retribution campaign. There is, there is almost no other reason to explain this. And I know that we have to say, you know, in terms of reporting, well, we'll see what others say, or we'll see what the Republicans do. But everyone who has followed this president elect and who he wants to put in knows that this particular position and this particular person is being chosen for what is essentially the Retribution campaign. I mean, and well, it's not only and Noah, but does she point out any specific details on like, you know, these guys can't go out there and say on day one, like Donald Trump is going to direct cash Patel to take federal law enforcement and raid all of his political enemies or people that have gone after Donald Trump over the years, they can push that narrative for as much as they want and start off. Like, if the starting block is Retribution and by the end, it's like, you know, swatting Adam Schiff's house, that narrative is never going to come to fruition in real life. You know, there's so many people out there, big time lawyers, major influencers, pundits, podcast host, even some in the cable news who are saying, like, keep your receipts and justice is coming and pain is about to get delivered. You really have to look at the way the real world works and you have to understand that when it comes to the theatrics in regarding the Retribution. And remember, some of Donald Trump's early campaign rhetoric was emotionally charged because of what he was going through. Yeah. He has moved away from that narrative, unfortunately, in some cases, but at the end of the day, I think he wants it to stop for anybody. We'll examine that a little bit more in our second edition of the podcast when we look at Joe Biden finally pardoning Hunter and what it means for the end of his term moving forward. But when you look at what Cash Patel, if you think he's just like someone that's going to be brought in as like a chaos agent from a video game that's going to be like kicking indoors and two tapping people, that's not going to happen. But if you want to talk about working on the Hoover building with a Nerf gun, that would be funny. I do. Listen, if any of these people that are getting tapped by Donald Trump come in, Ari from Entourage style to start off their first day at work, I wouldn't fucking hate it. I actually think a lot of these assholes deserve it to get lit up with paintball guns or, you know, salt rock guns or even like you alluded to Nerf guns, et cetera. But here's the deal. He's wearing a helmet cam though. Donald Trump's in office for four years. He's picking the people that are going to fix it as fast as possible and then set the standard to work for the country when he's gone. The biggest part of the Trump doctrine and promises made and promises kept is making this country great again, better than ever before, especially better than it was before he got into office the first time. And you know, Cash Patel is a huge piece of that. And we're really excited for it. Much like MSNBC wasn't, which is where we're going to next. Let's listen. Cash Patel as FBI director would be like if you cross out Jones with J Edgar Hoover in terms of just how much he would want to ignore precedent and the constraints that have been put on to the FBI over the years with all of the conspiracy theorizing all of this eagerness to ban the claims of the worst instincts of President Trump put into power. Those two things should never mix. Cash Patel has a vote. And he is a couple of votes away from that happening once he's put the Senate asshole. You know, when you talk about peak journalism, it's hard to not mention. I mean, Alex Jones mixed with J Edgar Hoover. I mean, I can only vote for cash once. You don't have to convince us we're not Democrats. So that would be Alex Jones with the shirt pulled over his head and arms hunched out, but obviously wearing like eyeliner and high heel shoes. There you go. I'm here for that. Much like a lot of the way America first came out for Cash Patel shortly after the announcement from President Trump, former Florida Congressman Matt Gates, who's doing a little envoy work out in the third world right now. Listen, I wouldn't. I know there's a lot of people who might get hyped for like special counsel gates. Ambassador Gates would be just as fine with us as long as this guy is able to continue to push the America first message, not just here, but abroad. I think it would be a big win for us and just another chapter in the story that eventually will be the career of former Congressman Gates. Here's him weighing in on Cash Patel's nomination after President Trump announced that let's hear it. Hey, it's Matt Gates. I just want to say President Trump made another terrific pick with Cash Patel at FBI. I have seen the medal of cash when he was a staffer in Congress. You had Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General, literally threatening Cash and his family with surveillance. I mean, this is a guy who helped expose the Russia hoax. He's been on side against some of the worst abuses of the FISA system. Cash Patel can help clean up all the things that we've seen that are wrong. Cash will with you all the way. Do great things. And we've all got your back. Yes, we do. And I think the consensus is becoming more like that as the media is continuing to virtue single over it. You know, I think the receipts are going to be, again, more than enough for Cash to get over the bar and be the next director of the FBI. For those who might not have heard some of his more recent pieces here on the show, or one's dating years past, whether it was when he came out with, you know, the government gangsters movie, the collaborative event with Amanda Millius, whether it was the children's books that he's done, the organization, which has helped out so many families over the years. We're just talking about government gangsters in general, not just the book, but them and themselves, and the work that Cash has done over the years to expose it. I feel like we would be doing our listenership and injustice if we just didn't actually pull at least one audio clip of him from this presidential election cycle where he was out campaigning very hard as he did in the previous two. For President Trump, here's Cash, a couple weeks before the presidential election at the Nevada rally out in Henderson by Vegas, talking about, well, I don't even want to get into it. Ladies and gentlemen, this will be the next director of the FBI. Let's hear it. They accuse us of every single thing they are doing. They try to imprison our great leader illegally time and time again. They raid our houses of worship. They tell us where our children can go to school and what they should learn. Well, I don't know about you, but I want our future generation to know history, math, and economics. I don't want them to know gender fluidity at the age of 10. We have the greatest leader. The costume is built in Donald J. Trump is our champion. He is our juggernaut of justice. But we have to marshalize behind them because we have the truth. They don't have that. Listen, we're getting it all back. We're taking it all back. We're not going to fail like Rome, and we're going to have warriors like Cash Patel to help prevent that from happening. That's kind of the only way I could frame it. This guy is an absolute warrior for the movement. And again, President Trump couldn't have made a better pick and hit dead on here with nominating him to be the director of the FBI. You'll never miss out on all the great stuff we've got going on down here at the show, like over the course of our 500 episodes, interviews with Cash Patel, or the incoming hit with Florida Congressman, Corey Mills. Ted Cruz jumped on defaced the nation on Sunday to talk about the media apparatus and its meltdowns regarding Cash Patel's nomination. And again, there was a lot of buzz for a lot of these nominations, but there was no buzz like that we've gotten so far. I think every single Fox News show last night, Monday night, so this is 48 hours after the announcement, led in with a story on the Cash Patel nomination. Here's the Texas Republican Senator talking about the man that Cash Patel is. Let's hear it. I think the entire slate of Cabinet nominees, President Trump has put forward is very strong. I believe every one of these Cabinet nominees is going to be confirmed by the Senate. I think Cash Patel is going to be confirmed by the Senate. You look at his background. He has a serious professional background. He was a prosecutor. He was a public defender. He was a senior intelligence staffer on Capitol Hill. He was a senior intelligence staffer in the White House. He was the Chief of Staff of the Department of Defense. He was the Deputy Director of National Intelligence. And I got to say, all of the weeping and gnashing of teeth, all of the people pulling their hair out, are exactly the people who are dismayed about having a real reformer come into the FBI and clean out the corrupted partisans who sadly have burrowed into senior career positions at the FBI. The FBI and the Department of Justice are two institutions incredibly important to the rule of law in the United States. I revere both, and one of the most tragic consequences of four years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is both DOJ and the FBI have been politicized and weaponized, and I think Cash Patel is a very strong nominee to take on the partisan corruption. That institution, what do you think, Noah? I mean, if there's anybody that's going to take on partisan corruption, I think it's our guy. Nobody likes partisan corruption less than we do here on the show. We've definitely talked about it over the years with many guests, including Cash Patel. And listen, the job, the tasks that are going to be laid out ahead of him are going to be extremely challenging. There's going to be obviously some pushbacks. You're going to hear some things in the media. Over the course of the next, I would say, well, 48 days before inauguration day, defaming Cash Patel. You'll probably have some people come out and say that he did or said some things over the years about them, which are going to be completely enough, substantially not true. But here's the deal. It's just part of the process. I mean, there was this huge thing that blew up with Pete Headseth last week talking about, you know, another supposedly incriminating and disqualifying event. It came out as a hit piece, and I believe like the Washington Post. And at the end of the day, it was proven to be 100% untrue and from unverified, uncredible sources. So, you know, if you-- Unverified, uncredible sources is their favorite type of source. Oh, certainly is. But when you look at it, Noah, you know, we've just listened to several clips from both sides, even those who talked about his extensive career of federal service. Cash Patel has been a public figure for a very long time. He just wasn't a rising star within the America First movement heading into the 2020 presidential election cycle. He wasn't just a guy that authored some children's books and the books on government gangsters. He did a movie about it with Amanda Millius and later another one on Steve Bannon's War Room. Cash Patel was working federal courtrooms and putting people away for real crimes for well over a decade, nearly two, before he even got into, you know, the top tier of federal service. And that was all of the, you know, deputy positions he held within major agencies throughout the government. And obviously, he's the chief of staff to the DOD and special assistant to President Trump at the end of his first term. So, the experience and the amount of time, and for the amount of time that's passed that people have had to make these, what will be found to be false claims about Cash Patel, have passed. And when you are looking at emotionally how the media is going to try and swing you away from thinking that he's going to get confirmed, don't, we've heard some very good things about Cash Patel up on Capitol Hill already and from some of the senators. That's why we were going to jump in and listen to a clip right now. Again, on NBC News, I believe this is NBC's This Week. No, it's actually Meet the Fake Press. NBC News is Meet the Fake Press. On Sunday, someone who in the media was supposedly being considered for the role of FBI director, and that's Tennessee Senator Bill Haggerty, had some great things to say about Cash Patel. Let's listen to it. I encourage President Trump to bring Cash Patel to the table for precisely this reason. Unlike Jake, I understand his resistance to talk about Cash, but I'm more than happy to talk about him. He represents the type of change that we need to see in the FBI. If you think about the failures of background checks that have taken place, how could we have somebody, like Colin Call, who tweeted out classified information, I went to the FBI myself. They ignored me. Basically, he was confirmed on a party-line vote in the U.S. Senate with Kamala Harris, breaking the tie to put this person that should not even have a security clearance in the third most powerful position at DOD. You've got Rob Malley. I don't know how he cleared an FBI check. He's now under investigation. His ties to the Iranian influence regime that worked with him and for him. Ariane Talatabi, who is still at the DOD, should never clear to an FBI background check. This entire agency needs to be cleaned out. It's not doing its job. Look at what happened. The politicization that took place back in 2016, when senior leaders of the FBI collaborated and inspired to try to keep President Trump out of office. And then when he came into office, they put together this fake Russia gate investigation that hindered the Trump administration of the first several years. Look at 2020. Look at what happened there with the, you know, fake, fake Hunter Biden story. That, you know, the FBI leadership worked together with Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop that allowed President Biden to basically, you know, fool the American public and come into office. There are serious problems that the FBI, the American public knows it. They expect to see sweeping change in cash hotels just the type of person to do it. Some good points there. No, I see you, uh, looking like you're thinking about something over there. What do you got? I was just, there's interesting. There's somebody that works at the FBI. This name is Talatabi. Really? Oh. Yeah. Listen, another thing you're going to hear about in regards to a lot of these people who are getting, and I'm air quoting now vetted in preparation for Senate confirmation hearings is that Donald Trump is not using this time around the standard FBI background clearances for the people who he's nominating for these picks. And all you have to do as a reference point is go back to 2016 when every time somebody got vetted, who wasn't currently working in the government and was going to be a pick of Donald Trump, or if there was one that was looking like it was going to be more favorable and maybe a Ted Cruz the FBI was leaking bad information about these people to the press. So Donald Trump said they were going to go through a private, but pretty high rated, independent agency to vet their cabinet level selections and agency heads. And I think that's a great idea. What do you think? I mean, just people that are working for that agency that are leaking stuff to the press. I feel like if you have a security clearance, that seems, I feel like that would be grounds for you to, I don't know, I'm not a doctor, but maybe not have that security clearance anymore. Yeah, ex-communicado to say the very least. You know, someone who's had a really rough 48 hours first with the nomination of Cash Patel and how he had to go out and kind of, you know, start to weaponize the oppo narrative against it. But then someone who's gone around for the past two years saying that Joe Biden would never even think about or dream about, pardoning Hunter Biden and how he had to kind of be held aside by sides are amazing. Yeah, House Democrat douchebag, Jamie Raskin was on CNN's State of the Fake Union, of course, on Sunday. Well, they should sit on him for that one. Oh man, wait till you hear later in the show in our second episode when we do the Joe Biden pardon bullshit and how Raskin had to kind of dance around that one. Here's him going off about Cash Patel though. Let's hear it. I think there are any issues inside the FBI around a politicization as many who voted for Donald Trump seem to say. Well, undoubtedly, if you look at it historically, for example, during the Cohen's Helprow period, the FBI really was weaponized against Dr. King in the Civil Rights Movement. And the peace movement, there was, you know, decades of the FBI being basically used as a political instrument. There's an interesting book about that, about J Edgar Hoover by Trevor Lagage. And people can look at, I mean, and so I haven't seen what the proof is that the FBI has been weaponized against a political party or the Department of Justice. Of course, this Department of Justice has brought charges against a Democratic U.S. Senator in New Jersey, a Democratic Congressman in Texas. And so some people just seem to think that it should go only in one direction. If it doesn't, then somehow it's politicized. And I think that's what they mean when they talk about politicization in the deep state. I mean, the deep state has ever defined it. Apparently, it just means anybody who doesn't do the will of Donald Trump. Fuck you. I hate you. I hate him. Mm-hmm. I'm so glad that every time they find a new swath of ballots for the Democrats to try and flip congressional House seats in their favor and give Republicans the slimmest margin in the history of margins, the votes that do come in for Donald Trump continues to add to his popular vote victory and keep his overall total getting closer and closer to 77 million. And above the 50% threshold, he can take those impeachment and drafts that he's had supposedly since last January and shoved them directly up his little communist Marxist ass because I can't stand that guy. Yeah, it's awful. I just can't wait for House Republicans to dunk on him every single time they send a piece of legislation up to get signed that's going to take away from his special interest in talking points and add to getting this country back on the right track. Last clip I've got before we jump in with Congressman Corey Mills is from the coach, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville, who sat down with Pete Hegzath is going to be sitting down soon with Cash Patel. The coach will be here for Friday's edition of the podcast. Let's talk about the guest list real quick before we jump into this. So today we've had some reschedules. Senator Ron Johnson had a leadership meeting this morning, plus they've got a whole bunch of Donald Trump's cabinet selections going up through the Capitol, so they were hard, can't do it today. Hopefully they'll be back for Friday's edition of the podcast. If not, they've reassured us they'd be back next week. Roger Stone had something go on at home, nothing to, you know, ring the bell on or anything like that, but they reassured us they'll be back next week as well. We moved Congressman Mike Collins, who again had a leadership meeting today up on Capitol Hill. Thanks, Speaker Johnson. To Friday's edition of the show, we'll be catching up with Tommy Tuberville on Friday. I believe Jim Jordan as well, and that's going to do it for all of our reschedules. Now, today's podcast, we still got an absolute banger of a lineup. Is that the biggest swath of reschedules we've ever had? You know, I confirmed everybody yesterday got emails back for everybody yesterday. Great. We'll see you tomorrow. And then I woke up this morning at 6.30 to do our first hit, which would have been at 6.45 Pacific. And I had like seven emails, some were junk, some were asking for show dates in the future, but three were for reschedules for today. So we did the best we could. I know how upset your stomach gets when that stuff happens too. Oh, yeah. But listen, we figured it out because we're going to jump in with Corey Mills. We're going to round out this show with Texas Congressman Keith Self. We'll kick off our first interview at the end of our first new segment of our second edition of the podcast, welcoming back for the first time, I believe since before Halloween, Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles and Christina Bob will round out today's two podcasts today talking about all the partner-related material and stuff that's going on with all that stuff surrounding Joe Biden. So again, great guest lineup today. Some reschedules are going to make it a great guest lineup for Friday's edition of the podcast. But that's neither here nor there. Here's the coach in our next audio clip and last one before we jump in with Congressman Mills talking about Cash Patel and how he's going to be absolutely fantastic being the director of the FBI. Seems since I've been here, there's been way too many things that have gone wrong with our FBI. There's a lot of good people in the FBI, but it needs to be overhauled, just like the military. And I think cash told, we'd be very good at, I've known Cash for several, every year since I've been up here, I've had an opportunity to sit down with him and speak about a lot of different things, military, intelligence, DOD, all the things he's been involved in. But I think Cash Patel's going to be a really good director of the FBI. Can't get a better endorsement than that from the former Auburn coach turned Alabama senator. And we'll leave it at that as we're going to be able to follow up on some of these confirmation face-to-face meetings that Senator Tuberville is having with the nominees up on Capitol Hill on our Friday edition of the show. However, we're getting ready to jump in with Florida Congressman Cory Mills right now. But before we do that, let's have a first check in with one of our partners. I think it's time we had a conversation about a good night's sleep. Pillow King of Minnesota, Mike Lindell, and the apparatus known as the MyPillow family has been cranking out savings down at MyPillow for over 20 years. All right, joining us first on the show today, this big 500th edition of the Stake of Breakfast Podcast. He's the congressman who represents Florida's seventh congressional district, and we're always glad to catch up with Representative Cory Mills. Welcome back to the show. Thanks to Mr. Hab, me, congratulations, and 500th show. Congratulations for being here with us, sir. You've helped make stake great again, as we like to say at the end of every episode of the podcast here. And listen, we haven't talked to you since right before the election. Congratulations. As an order, you retained your house seat, Republicans retained, albeit slim majority in the House of Representatives. We flipped the Senate into Republican control, and collaboratively, and working together. For the first time in a long time, we were able to get Donald Trump back into the White House. I just want to kind of get some back-end commentary on the end of the race, Cory, how you guys feel, how you feel heading into the end of this session, and a little bit of preview of the 19th. Well, look, I'm not all that optimistic regards to what we're going to achieve in the last remaining weeks and months of the 118th, but I am very optimistic of what we can achieve in the 119th. I had talked to Speaker Johnson recently and even told him that, listen, we need today one of the 119th Congress. We need to drop H.R.1, the Low Cost Energy Act, H.R.2, the Secure of the Border Act, most conservative, robust bill, and, you know, I would say in congressional history, H.R. 5, parental rights bill, making sure that everyone understands that we're not here to co-parent with the government and that the parental rights actually should supersede any of the actual state and federal laws when it comes to how our children are being taught. Yes. H.R.21, which would stop strategic control errors from being drained by any future presidents. But we really need to make sure that if we've got the Senate, we've got the White House that we're dropping those and codifying things in the law, doing what we said we'd do in the 118th, we can use the excuse that Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell, the two Democrats in the Senate, had prevented us from actually getting legislation packed. We don't have that same excuse, so the American people should be demanding, not asking, demanding every of the elected representatives to be able to do their job and get the things done in the 119th, the 118th, and so I'm optimistic in that, and I'm going to continue to say, on Speaker Johnson, for Wrestle Leadership, to make sure it's done. Yeah, we're looking to host Speaker Johnson here very shortly. We've been talking to his office very much so, and we're going to be talking to him about the mandate and what it means, how hard it is to manage. But again, the work that needs to get done is he had got a resounding endorsement from President Trump a couple of weeks ago, when he came up to Capitol Hill to meet Joe Biden. He stopped and talked with House Republicans, and listen, no one wants Speaker Johnson's job, but for the man in the moment, he's going to have to step up and rise to the occasion as much of the people who are going to be working alongside of him in the 119th session of Congress have talked about already on the show. Now, Corey, we don't like to talk about hypocrisy here on the show, but when it comes to the Biden administration, the things we've seen over the past four years, I mean, they can't go a day without resetting the standard for it. Obviously, over the past 24 hours, we saw the part in for Hunter Biden come down. It's like a top to bottom blanket covering everything for more than a decade, going all the way back to, you know, the revolution, which happened in Ukraine and all things related to Burisma up until the things that he could have done as recently as yesterday. Now when we see something come out like this from the Biden administration, the language that they used, they talked about lawfare, they talked about targeting, they talked about, you know, political figures or non-political figures being put on public display, and then literally see who the incoming president of the United States is and Donald Trump. How awful is this for our Republic to see? I mean, Gerald Ford didn't give Richard Nixon such a good part in that Joe Biden gave his son. And here we stand at the end of a lame duck session and right before President Trump comes in with this news that came across the wire this week. Well, again, it shouldn't be anything surprising. I mean, Joe Biden thought that he could utilize his power as president to influence the outcome of the jury. And he also thought that he was potentially going to be the nominee and run again, so he thought that he would be able to protect his son, his press secretary, Karina. There will be no pardon, but it's going to be given. When they saw that he was actually going to be charged for the violation of the federal firearms license application, where he lied on that, had a straw armed purchase, where they saw that he had tax evasion. And I think that he was really most concerned about taxes, especially if they had done the financial forensics and it would probably have tied Biden and the big guy himself. So I think that, you know, he essentially is just continuing the two-tier justice system, and he's continuing to abuse the weaponized department of injustice. But that's going to change very quickly with President Trump coming in with Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is a phenomenal choice. She was the Attorney General there on the state of Florida. I know her very well. He will clean up the DOJ. But also the biggest one I'm most happy about is my good friend, Cash Patel, who understands how the federal government has been weaponized. He actually wrote the book, "Government Gangsters" talks about how some of the weaponization has gone in, him being the new FBI director will guarantee that a lot of the warfare that's going on, a lot of the abuse, the 287,000 violations of FISA, Section 702, Title 1, that was used against the American people, to pry and spy. All of these things will start coming to an end, and unlike President Biden and the Democrat Party, President Trump doesn't utilize the federal government to go after his opponents in his opposition. He actually strengthens it, so it actually does and serves its purpose, which is serving the American people. You're going to see a huge vision between Biden weaponizing and corrupting our federal government, and President Trump is going to utilize it to better the lives of the American citizens. You couldn't have put it any better than that, Corey. I mean, when you talk about some of the incoming cabinet nominees and people that are going to be heading up the agencies, and we want to talk to you about a couple of them as well. You already mentioned a few, Pam Bondi, we're really excited for to be the next Attorney General of the United States. But Cash Patel has been a great friend of this show for many, many years. Cash Patel's a real-life friend of me and Noah here on the show as well. And when you talk about getting to know this guy, and you see these people and how much they've done to help the America First Movement, but then you really start to get to know the person and see how big-hearted and the best interests of the country is at the forefront of this guy's agenda every day when he wakes up in the morning. The fact that he had the courage to go and stand up to the swamp with things like the government gangster's book, which came out, the plot against the president during the Russiagate investigation is another reference point we always hit here on the show. Just talk to us a little bit about the man Cash Patel. I mean, we all know him. We've heard him for about five years here on the podcast, moving forward and heading up to his confirmation hearing. But when you talk about the reform that's needed to be done at the FBI, a lot of people say it's the senior most managed, but anyone who knows the DC Swamp knows it's a lot more than that. It's the philosophy. It's the mandate that they go out every morning and who they're targeting and why, what political ends, they tend to stock the coffers of as well. Someone like Cash Patel is really that person that we call it generational change coming to some of these agencies and the FBI is next on the list. Well, look, everyone knows Cash Patel from his work, whether it was Chief of Staff or the DOD, whether it was working in the National Security Council or working in the intelligence sector. He's done a lot when it came to the first term of the president, President Trump's administration. The person that I think everyone needs to understand is that the Cash is one of the most loyal, honest, just God-fearing country-loving individuals that I know. Cash is one of the first ones when I went into Israel in 2023 trying to help rescue Americans. I had been left behind to help volunteer and say, "Hey, look, if you need money, I'll raise money, I'll donate money, I'll do whatever I can." That's true to the core who Cash is. I think that people need to understand that the person that you know is the fighter who will during the swamp who isn't going to be scared for, you know, kind of the weaponization to go against him or the large donors to try and attack him isn't just who Cash is at the core at the core. He's a son. He's a dedicated, you know, American and he's a true friend and he's a person who shows and demonstrates the loyalty and dedication to country every single day and so I'm really happy about Cash Patel. I'm really happy about Michael Waltz being there in the National Security Advisory role, you know, former Colonel Special Forces. Jim and I have the exact same county which is the Lucian County that we share. So good friends with him for a long time. You've got Jeanette Nishawat who's his sister-in-law, who's a phenomenal doctor. I believe she graduated out of Ohio but phenomenal, you know, overall just the kindest person, honest person. You know, again, in medicine, you can only give your medical opinions on things. You can't necessarily go ahead and say, "Hey, look, this is how the federal government's done in." So she's done good in that regard. And then you've got, you know, Radcliffe, John Radcliffe, former member of Congress, former director of National Intelligence who went ahead up the CIA. He understands the intelligence community. I've known John for a very long time. I think it's a phenomenal pick but also one of the guys who is probably the most qualified when it comes to his position, Senator Marco Rubio, a guy who's out on the Foreign Relations Committee for a long time, understands Latin and South America, understands that China influences going on, has taken a very strong stance against the Iranian regime when it came to their influences and the state sponsoring of terror, whether it's Hezbollah or Hamas or Houthis, or even Qatab Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. This is a guy who understands foreign policy and who's a great advisor for the president. And so when you just look around, now you've got Pete Hegset, you know, two times he's been deployed overseas as a combat leader as an officer, who's a Harvard graduate, who's a Princeton graduate. I mean, the guy has a phenomenal background, he's going to do the right thing to clean up our DoD, to make sure we eliminate DEI, which I always said didn't earn it, is what that actually stands for. But, you know, this diversity, equity, and inclusion is going to be replaced with increased lethality, readiness, and being properly equipped. Our recruitment numbers are going to go up and people are actually going to see a better quality of life and increase and pay and salary from Congress, which is going to allow us to be able to hit the numbers that we need as the largest volunteer armed forces. And, you know, when you look around at these individual picks, when you look at Tom Holman who no one is tougher when it comes to immigration and deportation, and Tom Holman for ICE, when you look at all these individual picks across the board, you see the cabinet that President Trump has put together is about getting accountability, getting accessibility, getting transparency, but most of all getting America back to where it was originally at, which is being the world leader. You know, Corey, you just about hit all the ones I want to touch with you on, and we all know in regards to Tom Holman, the toughest decisions require the strongest wills. I don't think anybody's more fit for the job than he's going to be doing starting on January 20th than Tom Holman's going to be. You know, one of the things that was like a reoccurring theme, and a lot of people that we talked about today, though, is the representation of the great state of Florida. Now, when the Senate, the Senate confirmation hearings are going to be critical that Donald Trump being able to get his day one agenda. How much of a responsibility or, you know, just a personal way that you want to kind of attack this are you as a congressman who represents Florida that has worked shoulder shoulder with these guys in some cases for a number of years, even outside of the time that you've been a member of Congress to talk to some of the members in the upper chamber and let them know that you know these people on a personal level. You know some of their hearts. You know what their interests are in regards to getting this country back on the right track and help them out for some of the, you know, senators that across the country might not have had such a good relationship with a lot of these nominees that you have. Well, yeah. So I've talked to each of the nominees. I've offered to walk around through the halls of Congress to be able to try and lobby on their behalf. I don't think they're going to have a problem with the nomination. Again, you do have two senators who are in key positions without being Senator JD Vance who's now the vice president elect as well as for Senator Marco Rubio who's now the nomination for the secretary of state. And so you have people who have established relationships who can go into there and actually try and influence things and try and talk about the character of these individuals. But I will also be doing the same and, you know, look, the great state of Florida has been represented. Well, we got President Trump who lives in Marlago. You've got Senator Marco Rubio, you've got Michael Walt, you've got Pam Bondi, you've got so many great people who's gone to Florida. And I know that upcoming soon you will have the pick or the nomination to replace Marco Rubio by Governor DeSantis. Look, I have told many times that people have asked me whether or not I'd be interested in filling the seat for Marco Rubio for the Senate. I've made it clear I'll do whatever is getting the best interest of not just the state of Florida but the rest of the country. So if that's a position in which I can actually fulfill and support, I'll be more than happy to do it. It's allowed me to have a bigger influence on the confirmation process on me. So, you know, I'm continuing to try and do whatever I can to get President Trump's cabinet members completely done with their nominations and able to get back to work and ready to start things on January 20th. Well, you know what, Corey, we're going to be here supporting you every step of the way whether it's in your congressional seat in the 119th session or in the upper chamber as well. We've got everything live linked in the show description, including a link to your congressional website. Everybody can check out all the great work that you're doing. Where can we find out social media so they can actually see the Deeds as well? Yeah, so you can go into X at @CoryMillsFL, also on X Rep Mills Press, and then also on Instagram, @CoryMillsFL. Listen, if you haven't come to learn about this guest over the course of the years that he's been joining us on the show, you definitely got a crash course on it today. Got to check him out, the man who's representing Florida 7, he's out there fighting for all of America first. Across the globe, as some of the tales he's told on the show over the years, have definitely led to as well. Representative Corey Mills, thanks for joining us on the show today, and sir, have a great rest of your week. So, just wanted to say thanks again, again, congratulations on your 500th show, State for Breakfast is a phenomenal podcast, it's one of the fastest growing. I've been there from the beginning, I'll continue to be there as a regular guest and so I appreciate you hosting me and continuing to have me on room. We appreciate all the great work you're doing, sir, you take care. What are you telling your Ukrainian counterparts about American support in 51 days? Sir Biden leaves office. Well, first, what I'm saying is we are going to do everything in our power for these 50 days to get Ukraine all the tools we possibly can to strengthen their position on the battlefield so that they'll be stronger at the negotiating table, and President Biden directed me to oversee a massive surge in the military equipment that we are delivering to Ukraine so that we have spent every dollar that Congress has appropriated to us by the time that President Biden leaves office, so that's first and foremost what we're focused on. And then I've encouraged the Ukrainian team to engage the incoming team as well as to engage all of our allies and partners because, again, on January 21st, the war on Ukraine doesn't just go away, obviously the new team will have its own policy, its own approach, and I can't speak to that, but what I can do is make sure that we put Ukraine in the best possible position when we hand off the baton. All right. Jim, back into the news portion of the show here. Second news segment on the first of two big Tuesday editions of the State for Breakfast podcast. I'm Ron. No will be back with us in just a sec getting these rolling here. New segment two, episode 500, a State for Breakfast, and that's current foreign policy failure, Jake Sullivan, over at the State Department talking this weekend about never ending the war in Ukraine. It seems that a new, I guess you call it somewhere in the neighborhood of $11 billion package of cash, military aid, you name it, it's going back to the war-torn nation before Joe Biden and his cronies leave office, and trust me when I say no one is probably happier than this guy coming out of Ukraine. If you can't give us, can't give us some financial support, okay, okay, please, give us a credit. Definitely looking for the credit there, and you know, it's going to be really interesting to see how moving forward this administration just kind of continues to do nothing but add to our debt, our international insecurity, our lack of leadership on the global stage as Donald Trump is getting ready to take his show internationally this weekend for the first time since he's become President-elect. Speaking of which, we covered on last week's show how Donald Trump has already kind of given Mexico and Canada the mandates and after what he called a very productive and great phone call with the newly minted President of Mexico last week where she thought she was going to be hard and start a trade war. And Donald Trump said like, you know, a little bit less than 2% of our, whatever we got going on economy-wise here. So we're 30% for you guys. We'll see how exchanging tariff works in the long run for you. But at the same time, we don't know what's going to happen. You know, she said she's going to be doing more to stop the flow of migrants from preventing them to get up to the U.S. southern border. But we still don't know how this new administration in Mexico is going to respond to Trump-era policies which include remained in Mexico, which include safe third countries, which means you don't automatically get to claim asylum here in the United States and things of that nature. And it wasn't long before Donald Trump would be also catching up with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who flew down from Canada to Marlago this weekend and just seeing the reports that they dined together, that Donald Trump obviously talked about, tariff threats, securing his northern border or his southern border with the United States on our north. Donald Trump put out a post on true social late Saturday night and following the dinner at Marlago with Justin Trudeau. I just had a very productive meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada where we discussed many important topics that will require both countries to work together to address, like the fentanyl and drug crisis that has decimated so many lives as a result of illegal immigration, fair trade deals that do not jeopardize the American workers, and the massive trade deficit the U.S. has with Canada. I made it very clear that the United States will no longer sit idly by as our citizens become victims to the scourge of this drug epidemic, caused mainly by drug cartels and fentanyl pouring in from China. Too much death and hardship. Prime Minister Trudeau has made a commitment to work with us to the end of this terrible devastation of U.S. families. We spoke about many other important topics like energy trade and the Arctic. All are vital issues that I will be dressing on my first day back in office and before. So that's kind of what Donald Trump put out on social media, the telling from those who attended the dinner, seemed to tell a little bit more of a, well, I don't know how to put it any other way than Trumpian story about his sit down with Justin Trudeau and what they discussed over dinner the other night. I saw the story break yesterday on Fox News, I pulled a clip a bit for you guys to check out. Let's listen. And tonight we're getting some new details about that Trump Trudeau dinner from two people who were at the table. We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can't survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor. Right. Oh man, you know, and for as joking as it sounds, you have to think there's some kind of serious tone with Donald Trump when he allows comments like that to get leaked to the press. You know, it's one of those things where we've been on the hook for so long. And for these countries who will stand shoulder to shoulder with us in virtue singling their fights, their plights and their causes, however, it just doesn't seem the same when it comes down to dollars and cents, whether it's internationally and where we're going to touch on next with NATO, whether it's with our geopolitical allies here in the Western Hemisphere like Mexico and Canada, especially the ones who touched the tips of the United States. It just seems that we're a much more prosperous country and therefore I've always fitted the bills for these countries to be treated essentially as equals. And Donald Trump was the first politician in a long time who came in and kind of didn't even move the goalpost to kind of reset the fielding and left it as you're going to pay not equally, but what the United States considers a fair share or you're not going to have to see the table as prominently as you have in years past. And I think the big takeaway from that is, is that when you look at the debt here, when you look at the annual budget deficit here, when you look at the trade deficits with places like Mexico and Canada, when you look at how much we're funding to keep NATO afloat and how several of the very financially prominent nations who are members don't, it was time to finally say or point out what the elephant in the room always has been and that's money matters and Donald Trump comes from a businessman background and he's going to again treat his second administration as his business plan to save the country and make America great again. The members of bricks who've kind of been strutting their stuff over the course of the last several years were next in the crosshairs. This came out on true social and also on Donald Trump's X account over the weekend and this was after a meeting of the bricks nations happened last week. We played a clip on the show of some of the commentary that Russian President Vladimir Putin had regarding Donald Trump and the incoming White House transition that they're going through right now. Here's Donald Trump kind of giving a blanket warning to all of the countries who have been puffing their chests about bricks over the course of the last several years and mainly because of a lack of American leadership in the world. The idea that the bricks countries are trying to move away from the dollar while we stand and watch is over. We require a commitment from these countries that they will neither create a new bricks currency nor back any currency to replace the mighty US dollar or they will face 100% tariffs and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful US economy. They can go find another, in quotes, sucker. There is no chance that bricks will replace the US dollar in international trade and that any country that tries should simply wave goodbye to America. So a little bit more pointed narrative at the bricks nations which include Russia, which includes Saudi Arabia, which include Brazil, which we have kind of a not so great relationship with and I'm talking about the incoming administration with the one that's currently there. And saying that like the party is over. It's the underlying tone of what Donald Trump's foreign policy and economic platform looks like and that's what we're kind of laying out here in our second new segment today. And you know, if you don't think that these countries are going to be held accountable, especially when there's money to be made for the US and how much we've hemorrhaged it globally over the course of the last four years, well, like Donald Trump said, not only do they have another thing coming, the party's over. So you know, looking at that and then hearing some of the continued rhetoric this from former NATO Supreme Allied commander who talks about the Trump effect and that it's already having on the world stage right now, they kind of go hand in hand. Let's listen to what he said about how Donald Trump is affecting global stability in a positive fashion, even still 48 days before he sworn into office. Let's start with the pretty obvious impact of the coming Trump presidency around the world. And I'll hit it in three key areas. One is the Middle East. You see Iran pulling back their concern, their nervous. They ought to be team Trump will take a very aggressive stance toward Tehran. And by the way, the Iranian air defenses were crushed by the Israelis in the most recent strikes. So what that means is that in the fight that Israel continues to have with Hezbollah to the north of Israel and Lebanon, you're seeing Hezbollah willing to go to a ceasefire. I think that's a direct result of the presence of a new Trump administration coming on. Can't make a better argument for it there. And if you don't think as some of these nations who have felt emboldened under the lack of leadership from Joe Biden and his cabinet over the course of the last three years, in some instances, skirmishes leading up to fall on wars or offenses taken against each other between two nations. All of that stuff is coming to a close. And you'll see by the end of this segment just exactly what we're talking about in regards to that. And I do have to say before we jump in with our station identification, absolutely fantastic. Finally catching up with Corey Mills, you know, and the thing is before we started recording today, the Florida Congressman was, and I don't know why, apologetic in saying that he wishes he could come on the show more often, but sometimes he just front loads the schedule so much. And I'm not even talking about media pieces, which he does do a lot of, but it's all the extra work that he's doing. You know, he's a Congressman for his district. He's doing a lot of work for America first. He's helping out with the vetting of the people who will be eventually confirmed by the Senate up on Capitol Hill, bouncing back and forth between districts. We know he's been a critical component of still providing hurricane relief for people in places, you know, like Northwestern, North Carolina. And in addition to all the other lifesaving measures the Congressman has taken during his first session in Congress, just absolutely fantastic. And of course I'm talking about rescue operations in both Israel and Afghanistan. We can't say enough about Corey Mills. I'll be the first one to admit it at the end of his congressional race. We jumped on the train late, but the relationship that we've built, the character and morality that he brings, you know, when you get him for a long form interview, like we do here on stake for breakfast, and he's really able to develop some of the topics you only hear him talk about for two or three minutes on the news. It's just an absolute treat for our listenership and something that like he alluded to, we hope to continue for many, many years to come. Also a little bit of a surprise to hear that he's thrown his name into the hat of possible contenders for that Florida Senate seat, which is going to be vacated soon by incoming Secretary of State Marco Rubio. I couldn't think of a finer, seamless transition than to have Marco Rubio join the administration and then have just an America first warrior in Corey Mills fill that seat and like he talked about, it's the importance of having that vote during the confirmation process. You won't even have to think twice. He's on the same page with President Trump. If President Trump has nominated these candidates, you can rest assured that that would be a yes vote from what would be then, not Congressman, but Senator Mills from the great state of Florida. Let's take for breakfast, so the terrorists who have been complicit in holding hostages since the 2023, October 7 attack in Israel, also found that they were in the crosshairs of Donald Trump's rhetoric and incoming foreign policy platform, still 48 days away from inauguration day. So, if there's one thing that I always hear the media try to throw Joe Biden's way and he's quick to ignore, is if he and that's Joe Biden thinks the hostages will be released before he completes his term in office. Now, given the recent developments, and we're talking about pardons, which is what we're going to open up our second edition of the podcast today with talking about, you know, I don't think Joe Biden really has those people who have been held for this much time in the center of the view of things that he's working on as he's getting ready to depart office and return back to the private sector as citizen Biden, citizen sleepy Joe. But here's the deal. When it came to hostage negotiations and whether it was returning the remains of people who had died in previous wars to the United States or literally getting our hostages home and not having to send like the arms dealer of death in exchange for transgender WNBA players, Donald Trump was well above bar and getting the job done regarding that. So, in what would be a foreign policy themed flurry of posts on true social this weekend, I'm now going to read you to third one we're featuring during this new segment where we're talking about the, I guess, reimagining of Donald Trump's foreign policy and what the Trump doctrine looks like still well over a month from when he's sworn back into office. Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently inhumanely and against their will of the entire world in the Middle East, but it's all talk and no action. Please let this truth serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20th, 2025, the date that I am proudly reassuming office of President of the United States, there will be all caps, all hell to pay in the Middle East. And for those who are in charge of those who have prarited these atrocities against humanity, those responsible be hit harder than anybody has ever been hit in a long and storied history of the United States of America back to all caps, release the hostages now. Now when I think of that, there are a couple of Trump clips that I could often refer to. This happens to be one of his all time bangers. I'm going to bomb the shit out of them. It's true. I don't care. I don't care. They've got to be stopped. And yes, they do, and yes, they will. If Donald Trump's track record continues to prove him correctly, New York, Congressman Mike Lawler was on the news yesterday. He was talking about the ever changing foreign policy outlook, especially in places like the Middle East and involving Israel. I've pulled a clip. Let's check it out. Also, we're eager to talk about the situation in the Middle East. And of course we saw that heartbreaking video from the Israeli American hostage, Idon Alexander. There also have been some comments from some of your colleagues on Capitol Hill, notably Lindsey Graham, who is of course a supporter and ally of Donald Trump, who said that the incoming president wants to see a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas before he is inaugurated. Do you think that's a plausible reality? Look, I think you're seeing very quickly world leaders come to the table. You saw obviously the Prime Minister of Canada fly down in Marlago. You saw the president of Mexico respond very quickly to the president's tweet the other day about the issue of tariffs and cracking down on cartels. I think what you're seeing in the Middle East is movement. People recognize that Donald Trump is going to crack down on Iran. In a way, frankly, this administration has not. Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the illicit oil trade has exploded to over $200 billion. That is what has funded Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and other terror networks. Obviously with Prime Minister Netanyahu and the IDF taking out the leadership of Hezbollah and Hamas and President Trump coming into office, there is more pressure now on these entities to enter into a ceasefire. I think obviously it was welcome news that Hezbollah entered into a ceasefire. We'll see how long that lasts. But I think the bottom line with Hamas is very simple. Release the hostages and surrender. The United States needs to use maximum pressure, including on Qatar, to get the hostages out. It is outrageous that we still have seven Americans being held hostage, four presumed living, three deceased, and this should be the top priority of both the current administration and the incoming administration to get these hostages out. I have met with every one of these hostage families multiple times, including the Alexander family. It is heartbreaking to watch that video yesterday and a shameful reminder that a terrorist organization has been allowed to hold seven Americans hostage for over 400 plus days. It's disgusting. I'm not the hugest fan of Michael Orr, but he was directly providing commentary on this true social post. So it's one of those things where we really have to take into consideration what foreign policy is going to look like. And if you think that Donald Trump is going to get sworn back into office on January 20th and let what we presume is for living American hostages rot in captivity under the prisonership of Hamas or even Hezbollah backed by Iran for another 400 days, you pretty much need your head examined. So that's kind of what it's looking like there in regards to some of the movers and shakers and the biggest hotspots on the globe right now talking about Eastern Europe and obviously the Middle East. Looking back in the thread of trade and one of the clips I pulled from the campaign trail when Donald Trump was out in Pennsylvania at the end of the presidential election cycle had to do with U.S. steel and it's big trade deal that was going on where they were selling ownership of this U.S. steel company to nip on steel out of Japan. Donald Trump doesn't like this at all he likes made in America by Americans and I really think when you look at this deal right now well I'll have a true social post that came out over the weekend as well to support this clip but let's hear Donald Trump in the waning weeks of the presidential election cycle here out in the state of Pennsylvania talking about U.S. steel let's listen. We have to be strong and powerful again and we must put tariffs on foreign predators they are predators so that they don't destroy our steel industry the people that like me the most of the steel they were dead when I came into office they were dead and I put taxes on China China was dumping massive amounts of steel to destroy our companies I put a 50% tariff then I raised it in some cases to a hundred percent and at a certain level they said no mas we're not doing it remember no mas Roberto we love Roberto Durando and no mas no mas and they said no mas and that was the end of it and our steel companies were saved and thrived and now we're losing our steel companies again because we have stupid people in the White House we must keep our steel companies and we must keep making steel more than any if we have a war are we going to call up G China could you send us some steel plays oh I forgot about that if we have a war think of it if we need it for our military how do we build our tanks how do we build our ships we don't have we wouldn't have any steel we have to make us steel great again doesn't have to be what it was it was the greatest company in the world think of it US steel was the greatest company in the whole world that would be like whatever you know today our big companies are like Google and this and that they're not the same us theaters that's strength Google is all give me a break digital bullshit and it's a good point in analogy he makes in regards to that you know and then when he put out his post over the weekend regarding this trade that's happening right now or sale of ownership of US steel to Nippon steel in Japan this is what Donald Trump had to say about it which kind of encompasses the narrative which you just heard at the end of the 2024 presidential election news cycle I am totally against the once great and powerful US steel being bought by a foreign company in this case Nippon steel of Japan through a series of tax incentives and tariffs we will make us steel strong and great again and it will happen fast as president I will block this deal from happening so buyer beware and again putting it out there because you have to understand Donald Trump is not going to continue to let some of the greatest most historic backbone elements of this country be bought and taken out of the United States produced in a foreign country and sold back to us at ridiculous prices it's just not going to happen anymore so much like it was in the case of the automotive industry where they were supposedly building the largest car manufacturing plant in a not just the western hemisphere but in the world down in Mexico that construction has stopped it looks like this trade deal might be stopping as well as we're getting ready to wrap now and jump in with Texas congressman Keith self I got one more Donald Trump is going to be doing a little jet setting this weekend he's going to be heading out to France and meeting with French president Emmanuel Macron again this is for supposedly the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris however you would have to think when it comes to France's stance on the Ukraine war and some of the trade deals that are going to be coming down between the United States and France the western Pacific allyships we have in the region etc there's going to be a lot of business discussed outside of the reopening of the cathedral which was burned back in 2019 here's Donald Trump talking about it shortly after the tragedy and then we'll read this weekend's true social post which corresponds with this narrative let's check it out the fire that the having at the Notre Dame cathedral is something like few people have witnessed when we left we had a whole group of your great representatives and when we left the plane it was it was burning at a level that you rarely see a fire burn it's one of the great treasures of the world the greatest artists in the world probably if you think about it I would say Jovita it might be greater than almost any museum in the world and it's burning very badly it looks like it's burning to the ground so so that puts a damper on what we're about to say to be honest because that is beyond countries that's beyond anything that's a part of our growing up it's a part of our culture it's a part of our lives that's a truly great cathedral and I've been there and I've seen it and there's no cathedral I think I could say this probably no cathedral in the world like it it's a it's a terrible scene they think it was caused by at this moment they don't know but they think it was caused by renovation and I hope that's the reason renovation you know what's that all about but it's a terrible sight and again you know that was President Trump talking about it while it was in Gulf and Flames back in 2019 the update to the narrative is of the trip he'll be taking this weekend and I've got the true social post here I'm going to read it for us right now it's an honor to announce that I'll be traveling to Paris France on Saturday to attend the reopening of the magnificent and historic Notre Dame Cathedral which has been fully restored after a devastating fire five years ago President Emmanuel Macron has done a wonderful job in sharing that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory and even more so it will be a very special day for all now again in a completely generic true social post like that much in the same way we opened up the segment with today talking about Donald Trump's true social post about Justin Trudeau the narrative that came out from that evening was a little bit different than what was provided in the post on social media and what I mean is when Donald Trump told Trudeau if he can't afford to make up the trade deficit with the United States then he should let us annex Canada as the 51st got him state and the republic and he could remain on as governor of said 51st state so no as you're joining us right now we're getting ready to cut and jump in with Texas representative Keith self but before we do that we're gonna have another check in with one of our partners this episode of the podcast is make sure you go check them out at battleborne.coffee all right joining us next on the show today this big Tuesday edition of the state breakfast podcast he's the congressman who represents Texas's third congressional district we're always glad to catch up with representative Keith self welcome back to the show great to be here thank you absolutely fantastic to host as always and we're ready to jump right into it here so hypocrisy seems to be the thing that Joe Biden and his administration will most be remembered for even though they've let in millions of illegal aliens help started probably two more world wars across the planet tank the economy basically valued every single thing that isn't important to Americans instead of things that are important to Americans congressman but Joe Biden pardon his son hunter for probably a lot of crimes for a very long extended period of time over the years the other day and just kind of coming out of this to see how they circled the wagons and just said this wasn't going to happen for years we kind of all knew it would i guess we didn't think it was going to be at the end of like the ninth lie uh how did you see this kind of rollout over the weekend and heading into the week and and wasn't a surprise for you and where do you think we go from here you know kind of uh encompassing this narrative this is what we should have expected from president Biden the contempt of tradition and law is truly breathtaking uh a part for for crimes that he committed or might have committed for the last 10 years that is truly breathtaking and for people that want to take action for which i am one remember that president trump was impeached seven days before he left office we have time to get this done and i'm encouraging and i certainly don't talk about my conversations with leadership but uh Biden certainly deserves to be impeached for uh what he has done here um i have to tell you when i think back to what the Biden crime uh administration did against trump they impeached him over one phone call to Ukraine and if you remember Biden held up a billion dollars worth of uh aid to Ukraine until they fired the prosecutor who was investigating his son over Ukraine issues uh truly uh contempt for uh for every tradition in law in america it's just uh was really i got i don't know when you couldn't get shocked anymore it was just like one of those things when you see the sweeping nature of it when there's comparisons to it being a stronger or more solid or a better put together you know pardon than was the one that Gerald Ford afforded to Richard Nixon you know it it it raises a lot of questions we were told a lot of lies in the media over the course of the last you know four years congressman that our bank accounts were fine that the border was secure that american leadership was back over the world we were also told that you know things like saying the Biden crime family uh you know was an inaccurate depiction of the president and those closest to him we said that things like barisma and uh you know donations from former mayors of Moscow's wives and all these shady business transactions that happened everywhere from Ukraine to Kazakhstan Romania and in between just didn't happen but then when you see some of the language that's in this part and you know the fact that it was 11 years long the fact that it covered like well all these crimes or crimes that could have been committed or would be committed up until you know a certain date that had already passed already it just it was very weird to see the media just like kind of stomp out this narrative for so long but then when you literally look at the verbiage of the pardon it essentially covers a lot of the things that house republicans and especially leadership had been alleging since joe biden took office and we started investigating this stuff yeah i mean the tutored system of justice that you're referring to is is again i used the word breathtaking we sent a 75-year-old pro-life catholic grandmother to prison right uh just literally before thanksgiving because she prayed outside an abortion clinic um we've knocked down doors at the middle of the night we drag people out by their by their pajamas we've called the parents domestic terrorists uh it just goes on and on and frankly if you want to be shocked stand by because the biden spokesperson has said there are more pardons coming yeah what in the world uh i i have no idea what's coming but but i i think you ought to hold your collective breath we're going to start to see uh which i think administration officials or biden close associates and family members who have been kind of uh you know highlighted as might be doing some fishy stuff start to get some pardons we get closer closer to january which is common for presidents to kind of issue parts at the end of his uh term especially the final in office but definitely not in the fashion that we might see it regarding joe biden and his family and maybe some of the people that are working in his administration right now all right let's talk about a little bit more positive things uh we're going to move on and talk about some of president trump's nominations uh if you want to talk about national defense you want to talk about strategic readiness and uh national security and things of that nature whether it's Tulsi gabbard tom hollman pete hexeth and now newly nominated cash Patel for the fbi there are some great choices that are you know kind of rising to the top here we wanted to uh you know kind of get your commentary on some of these picks have you met any of them do you know any of them are you helping your uh counterparts in the upper chamber in the senate who's going to work on uh you know confirming these people to get to know them a little bit better as we've heard with some of the guests that have been on the show lately and how you feel you know this cabinet uh an administration is starting to come together well that list that you just uh listed for your listeners that is a list of stone cold killers for the deep state make no mistake about it trump has got an a-list there going and uh whether or not they can be confirmed i think that uh the senate had better be real careful uh because trump deserves the cabinet that he wants and unless you find something that it's egregiously uh disqualifying i think the senate better get in line because trump is a force of nature and i think he is probably going to use one of his options if they do not cooperate under the federal vacancies act because i think he is committed to this list and uh and i hope he is because that's exactly what he now understands given the law fair against him over the past years this is exactly what he needs to do uh we have got to dismantle the deep state the administrative state whatever you want to call it and i think this list of people will do exactly that uh you may remember that elan musk has sent a warning signal to the senators and uh this is the richest man on the planet he said if they do not support trump's nominees they will be primary i don't know about you but i'd hate for uh you know elan to drop a hundred million dollars into a primary against me that's a good point you make you know whether it comes to a lot of the work he didn't leading up to this last election cycle and that was helping financially like a lot of house republicans were in defense of uh house seats in places like pennsylvania like scott perry's whether it was helping dave mccormick uh kind of get over the finish line and win the senateorship there and then getting the keystone state back in the win column for donald trump seems to get a lot of influence he definitely has a lot of money and it seems like right now the american people are kind of lined up with the way uh you know america wants to go the mandate that was sent and if you have a voice as big as the lines kind of willing that uh through it it's definitely intimidating factor for those who might be thinking about it congressman what do you think it is sometimes i mean without naming names when joe biden took office between nine and thirteen senate republicans would vote to confirm his cabinet with very little pushback and we're talking about some of the all-stars from prior administrations and when i say all-stars they're everything but on a hundred meorchus you know people that have never worked in the government or we're being assigned to cabinet positions that they had no experience in like p buta judge obviously uh exavier bersera but you have america garland as well who came in with with very little pushback after you know he had kind of pushed negative commentary about what happened with his supreme court nomination uh for years leading up to when joe biden took office and then when it comes to a republican president getting in especially donald trump he wins the popular vote it's a mandate he has the house he has the senate and he has the oval uh he's got a pretty good number on the supreme court bench and then you see some senate republicans coming out even before nominations are made and saying like i just don't know if i get in line when any of president trumps picks and it's like why do we have to kind of figure it'll be of course shoot ourselves in the foot or or make things harder uh you would mention some other avenues to get these picks confirmed it's not like they have anything egregious about them most of them were serving in the government uh during donald trump's last administration or in some cases in the democrat party as recently as two years ago and to kind of not want to get off onto a great start or run with the mandate that america has given republicans what do you think it is sometimes about that mentality that it is like seamless for the democrats and and republicans who would get in line to vote with them and not so much when republicans have the ball and uh the the democrats want to play a little bit more defense and then use squish republicans against us you bring up a couple of great points first of all the senators are the closest thing to royalty we have in the united states of america not the presidency the senators and frankly i will tell you uh when they voted for some of the freak show that uh biden put in place uh transgender people people that cross-dressed uh uh i will i will tell you when you see buddha judge with fake breasts on trying to trying to nurse their baby yep i i mean these senators voted for those people and then when you talk about garland who has not a clue about the law the rule of law in america and now they're saying they're not going to vote for these highly qualified people that trump's putting forward the senate needs to be ashamed of themselves and they need to get in line uh the deep state extends into the senate believe you me there are never trumpers there that we are going to find out in the next few months and uh again i think the the senate needs to uh examine themselves to see what they did under the biden administration the nominees against what they're saying against the trump nominees excellent point there congress president and wrapping today for as much as we want to look forward to the start of the 119th session of congress for donald trump to get sworn in you guys get sworn in a couple weeks before him as well and get this country moving back in the right track again we do kind of have to put a stop gap on how bad of off-course nature it is right now and that comes with the close out of this year's session of congress i mean you guys still do have some budgetary things to take care of including funding the government or not uh we've had a couple congressmen on the show today we've interviewed a couple leading up to and and right after thanksgiving kind of you know getting their angle on it uh we've heard a couple things from congressmen like anti-bigs on what he thinks we should do and and maybe without telling what the they're there kind of see how your office and in yourself is analyzed in the end of this session of congress and maybe what house republicans need to do to uh i guess in the smoothest notion possible transferred this power over to donald trump come january it's a great question i say buckle up we're in for a wild and woolly three weeks uh because uh spending bills do come out of the house and i will tell you we have an option between an omnibus or a continuing resolution uh mike johnson has been very clear no omnibus's i take him as his word so i think we're probably looking at a continuing resolution i voted against every single resolution in my first two years with the exception of the one that had the save act on it which was a citizenship bill to register to vote i did vote for that one because that's how important election integrity is uh but going forward i'm not sure uh i'm going to vote for a c r that is too long uh if you go for a year long c r i'm not voting for it because that ties trumps hands uh what we need to do is if we have a c r uh it needs to be sometime in early in trumps uh tenure maybe in the march uh i might be convinced to to vote for that but frankly if we're going to get a handle on spending and we're going to say that we're serious we're going to support the the doge uh elon and the vet uh then perhaps we ought to just shut the government down and let the people of america see that most americans would never even know the the government was shut down with the exception of the media right because the media would blame the republicans but how are we going to get started with this because is this a dress rehearsal for for next year for fy 26 if it's a dress rehearsal then let's make it a good one you know you talk about it i mean joe biden had his surrogates go out over the weekend and still uh kind of pushed the narrative that they're sending hundreds of millions of dollars to places like the war in ukraine uh we see the justice system weaponized against the american people this time in the form of pardons that are coming on behalf of joe biden's family i mean i think you might be onto something and maybe if we're not going to be able to get a short enough term cr and know that there's just spending in that related to getting things handed over to donald trump and his incoming administration that maybe why why should we keep the lights on uh just in this instance and move forward knowing that we'll have again in reference to lights getting turned off brighter days ahead congressmen this has been great catching up with you today as it always is when you can join us on the show so much to share with our listenership
