What Is the Halacha if One Had to Use the Bathroom Right Before ברכו (Borchu)? Making אשר יצר (Asher Yatzar).
Welcome everybody, Shinnam in 953, getting back to our Helchas Prochos. Okay, so we are in the middle of Simeon rage test Vov, the Helchas of Amain. In there, we went into the, we're in the category, actually of Rakhashan Etrica, which isn't so much Amain, but being as it may, it's part of rage test Vov. Okay, so, but every so often when we're in a certain category, a certain subject, we veer off onto something else for Shira too, if it comes up, or if we heard a good Shilah, good question, and it's just to discuss it before it gets sort of like lost in the shuffle as they say. So an interesting question came up, somebody had asked me a while back in reference to a person who uses the bathroom, they're in the middle of Davening, right? Shab is during the week, whatever it might be, but they're in the middle of Davening, and they have to use the bathroom. They come out of the bathroom, they wash their hands, whatever, and then now they hear Boruchu, right? So it's like this, let's backtrack. If you're middle of Dzimra, Korn to the Mishabura, at least it's Makhlokus Mishabura, Kiteshul Khannar, or others, if you could say Ashur Yatsar over there, right, and middle of Dzimra. So Korn to the Mishabura, you would be able to say Ashur Yatsar, you do a Bayna procum, you know, in between two paragraphs, you say, make a Ashur Yatsar. Now the question is, now when you're middle of Virchas Krishma, once you start saying Virchas Krishma, so now the question is, the person who heard Boruchu, so good, so a middle of Dzimra finds it, you'll say Ashur Yatsar, a person who goes to the bathroom, according to the Kiteshul, also not to, but the Mishabura says it's fine, but once you hit Virchas Krishma, once a person hears Boruchu, right, the person uses the bathroom, they hear Boruchu, and they start saying Virchas Krishma, the Yatsar, the term, then you can't say Ashur Yatsar, now you have to wait till, you would have to wait till left Ashur Yatsar, to make Ashur Yatsar, so you have to wait till, after Ashur Yatsar, to make Ashur Yatsar. But now the question is, the question is, the question is, now you want to, but the person came out of the bathroom, and they heard Boruchu, but they didn't start yet, the Virchas Krishma, another was, they heard Boruchu, before they made the Ashur Yatsar, they answered Boruchu, and now everybody's starting the, the Brakhav Yatsar, Virchas Krishma, so you didn't start yet, you just heard Boruchu, right, and you didn't start yet, so what could you do, let's say even by Marv, the Herr, the same thing would apply, now you heard Boruchu, but you didn't start yet, Virchas Krishma, right, so what do you do, could you make Ashur Yatsar, so what do you have to wait till, till you could make Ashur Yatsar, after Schman Asarik, so the Mysar said, Rav Hirschfeld, Rav Kahan, the realm of our group, so he, he mentioned he spoke to Rav Hirschfeld, and Rav Hirschfeld in Cleveland, and he said, the Mysar not to say Ashur Yatsar over there, there are some who said possibly yet to say Ashur Yatsar, as long as he didn't start, Boruchu has Krishma yet, but Rav Hirschfeld not to, not to enter Ashur Yatsar, not to make an Ashur Yatsar till, because of the fact that once you heard Boruchu, it's already starting the Virchas Krishma, and you can, you can be Mapsic, you can be Mapsic, you can't talk out, the Hasidosh, the Hasidosh Arlem do say a main after that Boruchu, the literature don't, whatever, that's Makhalik, it's already, but as far as saying Ashur Yatsar itself, Rav Hirschfeld said, felt definitely not to say it, once you heard Boruchu, if you heard, before you heard Boruchu, right, if you have to hop in Ashur Yatsar before, so fine, so you're good, but once you heard it already, you answered Boruchu, right, you heard Boruchu, you answered Boruchu, so then it already started the Virchas Krishma, and you would have to wait, and you cannot be Mapsic for the Ashur Yatsar, it's something which comes up quite a bit, so it's important to keep your mind. Okay, so we'll just feel quickly to read from the safety issue, you throw, and parakeered tests, halocha tests, Ice test, it says, and let's rock in a cover, he eats corny michibura, bamsa krishma, somebody has to use the bathroom in the middle of Krishma, Berchasar, middle of the Krishma or the Brachas, meaning from F to Boruchu, right, basically from F to Boruchu, Berchasar, or once you start the Berchas of Yatsar, Berchasar, Berchasar, you made the emsa, whether you're in the middle of a parak, whether you're in the middle of a parak or you're in between prakin, right, whereby, quote unquote, the halocha has been a prakin, which we're not going to go through all those halochas now altogether, but the bottom line is, he says, what are you supposed to do if a person used the bathroom, F to Boruchu, right, so you tell the other Vwashi hands, akhloivar, Berchasar Yatsar, but don't make an Ashur Yatsar, ad la akhar, it's fila, until after, until F to Shmana S, right. Now, if it's a case in time like Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippa, when it's long ago, that's those halochas are a little bit different, but regular standard time, even shabbos, which isn't that long, but during the week for sure, so then akhloivar, Berchasar Yatsar, ad la akhar, it's fila, you're not supposed to make Ashur Yatsar till after you finish Shmana S, right. Okay, but in the middle of Sukhin, Zumri, you could answer Ashur, a person used the bathroom, so the question was, bottom line, good, one time you could, one time you can't, but what about after Boruchu, and I never started, Berchas Krishna, I heard Boruchu, I answered Boruchu, but I never started, the Boruchas of Krishna, which means, am I considered in the middle of Borchas Krishna, or am I considered that I didn't start? So that's what Rav Hirschfeld, Shlita wanted to say, that La Mysa, once you answer Boruchu, once you answer Boruchu, it's considered as though you're ready in the middle, and one is not supposed to say Ashur Yatsar, so what do you do, so you'll have, like we saw in the Yishay Israel, you wash your hands, and you wait till after Shmana S, right, and then you make the Ashur Yatsar, of course, immediately, as soon as possible, want us to be careful, because once a person starts to feel that they have to use the bathroom again, we want to keep in mind that you lose that Ashur Yatsar, let's say I go, a person goes to the bathroom because Zumte hates, and they didn't make an Ashur Yatsar for whatever reason, you're supposed to make it immediately, let's say, on a regular, no davening, Shustam, you go to the bathroom as soon as you come out, you're supposed to wash your hands, make Ashur Yatsar as soon as possible, that's in Simu Quf Samaqhe, the Mishabra talks about it by washing for a Nithilah Siddhamm, you have to make it right away, but for whatever reason, if a person was delayed, or they couldn't, or this, it was a smell, whatever the case might be, but once they start to feel, once a person starts to feel that they need the bathroom again, so then that's it, so then they lose the original Ashur Yatsar, so you have to be very careful, so again, just getting back to what we were talking about, bottom line is, what I wanted the point I wanted to bring across is that once somebody met, a person used the bathroom, once they said Barhu, they heard Barhu, they answered Barhu, then the fever of Hirschfeld, how we said, one should wait till left, Dishman Estrae, to make Ashur Yatsar, and not to be Mafsik for Ashur Yatsar, once they heard already Barhu, so it's an important point, to keep a minor, could be others, others didn't agree, whatever, but be it as it may, we try and go with the succum as much as possible, the bleenade, the berswa, sashhem, of Barhu Hirschfeld, virtual first, sashleta, and in our Shuram, we try, so that's what I just wanted to give that over, and it's something which comes up constantly, I know about myself, many times I'll come out of the bathroom and shulah, whatever, and then I hear Barhu, and we have to answer Barhu, you wash your hands quickly, answer Barhu, and then now what? I have to make the Ashur Yatsar, I don't make the Ashur Yatsar right, so many, many people have this question. Thank you for listening us, Lord Amrashak, all too.
