Hey there everyone, good afternoon and welcome back to the show. This is your host Phil and our next guest with us today is Kristi Brzezinski, based out of South Park, Pennsylvania with her business called KB Coaching Hub. How are you doing today Kristi? I'm doing great, how are you doing? Doing wonderful, thank you for asking. So Kristi why don't you tell us all a little bit more here about yourself and what you offer there at KB Coaching Hub? Sure, I'd love to. Well I have been a coach since 2017, I am an ICF certified coach, PCC level. I also have my health and wellness coaching certification. Prior to coaching, believe it or not, my background in industrial and systems engineering and I spent the majority of my career in the corporate world, mostly as a product manager in innovations. I had a change in career, actually my son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 10 months old, and I just have this change of life, I looked at life differently after that. We are very blessed, he's a senior in high school now and he does not have cancer which we were very lucky, but I found myself after that trying to find a career path that would allow me to give back to others and I found coaching. There you go. So how long have you been coaching for? So I started in 2017 and I have been coaching executives and business leaders across different companies and at different levels since then. Gotcha, okay. So when you're coaching these professionals, where do you start with them, how does the whole process work? That's a great question. So I think one of the biggest reasons why people hire a coach is because they're often unclear as to how to obtain their goals and achieve those goals. Sometimes the goal is not even clear to them, it's kind of like I want to achieve something, I want to make a change, but I don't know what it is, I just feel like I need a change. So from there really what the important thing to do first is to get clear on what are we trying to achieve. A coach really is there to ask in-depth questions so that the client is allowed to be clear on what they want to achieve and from there we get those insights and make them actionable and create a strategic plan to achieve those goals. So I don't know if that answers your question, but it really starts off with driving what are we trying to achieve together and going from there? No, that answered my question. Thank you for explaining that to us. So tell us a little bit more here. So have you always been interested in coaching, what lets you want to do all this here? So interestingly enough, when I was trying to change my career, I found myself with that same question, right? I want to do something different. I want to have more of an impact at the personal level, but I don't know what that looks like. So I started asking myself the question and I actually hired a coach myself to help me work through the process. And I looked at my skills and my strengths and my passions. At the time, I was coaching my daughter's cheer team. And my interest was really not in cheerleading. But what I found that permeated not just cheerleading but really in my life was that I was trying to make people the best that they could be, both individually and as a group. And oftentimes, I found that people had barriers that they put upon themselves. And I love to be able to push past limits that we put on ourselves. And I really found the passion in that. And I was able to find a path to help other business leaders and executives do that in a way that pertains to their life, both at work and really outside of work. Gotcha. Okay. Well, Kristi, if our listeners or anyone else here wants to reach out to you and work with you, how do we contact you? Yeah, absolutely.
