This is your host Phil, and our next guest with us today is Kimberly Singleton, based out of Stockbridge, Georgia with her business called Serene Organics. How are you doing today, Kimberly? - I'm doing great, how are you? - Doing wonderful, thank you for asking. So, Kimberly, tell us a little bit more here about your business, and what do you offer to everyone? - Well, my business is Serene Organics. We are a holistic wellness community. I offer programs for detoxing, mostly for feminine wellness, like wound wellness, to help women that have wound issues or that are trying to conceive. - Got it, okay, so how long have you been doing this business for? - Well, I originally started my business, the holistic side of it, or the natural product side, in 2006. I was selling all natural organic products from a actually a network marketing company. So that's how I originally got started, and then that branched off into more of the feminine wellness side because of my own situation. And I opened my wellness spa in 2015. So, since 2006, chill today was about 18 years. - Excellent, so tell us a little bit more here about these services offered at the spa. What are some of the reasons people come to see you guys? - Well, they would come to see us. I would say mainly because we are a full service spa would be massaged to relax, to have their day of self-care, or if they're looking for skin care treatment. So, first thing would be for spa treatments. For our most, I guess, focus areas. I also have women that look for weight loss programs that we offer. And again, like I said, the fertility treatment. Those who are looking to conceive. I wonder who may be struggling with fibroids, or PCOS, endometriosis, any type of wound conditions that I may be able to assist them with receiving some relief from those conditions. - Gotcha. And what led you to starting up a career like this in a business like this? What led you here? - Well, what led me here is because my own issue, like I said, of trying to conceive, when I got married back in 2003, me and my husband at the time, we knew we wanted to start a family right away. But unfortunately, things wasn't going well. He had a busy job, had a busy job, a career at that time. So, after some time, maybe four years, I ended up getting laid off my job, and decided not to go back to work, 'cause I thought maybe it was a stress of working. But actually, after about four years of trying, we sought out a specialist, a went to a specialist, where I discovered, you know, I did have fibroids as well as mytoons or blocks. So, they wanted to do surgeries on block the tubes, but me, I was always like a holistic, natural type of person, and I didn't necessarily want to go that route. So, I sought out alternative treatments like acupuncture. So, with doing the acupuncture, it was my acupuncturist who actually introduced me to techniques like womb massage and yoni statements. So, I would do those for like, maybe once a week, as well as the acupuncturist treatments with my acupuncturist. And I would say, after being consistent with that, for about four months, I went back to my doctor, and we discovered that my tubes were no longer blocked. My fibroids had shrunk. And so, once I realized that in, you know, maybe another month after that is when I found out I was pregnant. So, with my story of being able, you know, to help myself and telling people my story, I would get comments of people saying, "Well, I'm pretty sure there are other women "who are going through what you went through, "and there's, you know, people that can help you." But I didn't know exactly what route to go, of course, but as, you know, I was hearing this, I would have women actually come to me, and I was just randomly meeting women that would tell me their story. So, that's what led me to, you know, pursue it as a profession and go back to school to get more transportation, with natural health, womb wellness, that type of thing. - Gotcha, all right. Well, Kimberly, if we wanna like reach out to you or work with you or find out some more info here, how do we contact you? - So, my website is sereneorganics.com, or you can email me at chimney@sereneorganics.com, and I'm also, I can also be reached by phone at 404-941-5205. - All right, well, I wanna thank you so much for joining us on the show today and talking to us about all this and sharing your story. - Okay, thank you for having me. - You're welcome. - Have a great day, right? - You too. - Take care.
