Well, if you voted for Donald Trump, there was a obviously a lot of enthusiasm around him as he won the election, became president-elect, and will take the oath of office on January 20th in Washington, D.C., in the National Mall. And if you wanted to go, but maybe you thought, he's, you know, I don't know, I don't want to have to plan it. I don't want to have to drive or fly in or anything like that. Well, there is an advertising agency that is setting up a trip and basically everything's planned out for you. You hop on board a charter bus, you drive to Washington, D.C., you got a hotel. There is a plans for transportation, take the train into Washington, D.C., that way you could be there for the inauguration of Donald Trump, the 45th, and now soon to be 47th president of the United States. And Alan Patel is the founder of the advertising agency, your big sign and he's putting together the trip. And you're going to be here this afternoon. Alan, it's good to have you. Chris, it's good to be with you also. Now, tell me a little bit about the company and what you focus on. Sure. I own your big sign. It's an advertising agency. We specialize in highway billboards, a TV commercial advertising at Detroit Metro, things like that, all help small and medium-sized businesses advertise their services and products. So then, how did you get into politics? Well, that's a little bit of a story. Back in '06, when President Trump was first making his run, I had got a Christmas card from Blader or not, like probably so many other people and I said, "You know, I have to get involved." So I became precinct delegate over in Livingston County. I put up the Trump sign on my lawn and, sure enough, someone stole my sign and it made me super mad. You know, who would go and steal signs, right? But little did they know that we were advertising on Metro highway digital billboards all around the area. So I-- So you had bigger signs. Yeah, bigger signs. And for that first run, we probably put in dozens of highway billboards. You might have seen them, it's the Michigan Heart Trump billboard. And literally, we probably reached over 600,000 people. So that person that stole my yard sign now was responsible for me reaching out to over 600,000 people and billboards. Well, yeah. So you turned negative into a positive from your perspective. And so-- We did. So what was your level of enthusiasm for this particular election with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris? Chris, over the top, I'm just ecstatic that he won. And the reason I say that is, you know, I'm in contact with over 10,000 small businesses each month. And I really noticed a difference in how they've been hurting in the last four years during the Biden administration. And it's just difficult for them. They don't have a hard time finding extra money and they're just doing all they can to cover their bills and expenses and things like that. So that's what really got me started and saying, I need to bring along a lot of people to the inauguration. And so we came up with this bus idea. Now I did bring a small group of people back in '07, so I'm really familiar with how the inauguration happens and the parade afterwards. So you saw that experience to kind of plan this next trip. So now here in 2024, it's that that excitement's now crescendoed. You're going to go back to DC. You've chartered a 50 seat motor coach and you've put together a package for folks. So if people wanted to go, you've got a hotel lined up. You've got the bus lined up, obviously, for transportation. When you get to Metro DC, you've already planned out which train you need to take into the city. And so this is kind of a well-rounded trip that you've kind of set out for folks. It is. I'm really excited. We're going to be taking a luxurious blue lake motor coach. You can plug in your laptop or watch movies. You can recline in a nice comfortable seat and let the driving be done with the professionals. So we're really excited about that. We're going to be departing from Hartland at Imagine Theatre. We'll be taking off from there and traveling to Manassas, which is about an hour outside of DC. A coach ticket is $230 a seat. I was able to get some affordable hotel rates at the local hotel in Manassas and that's at $139 a night. We'll be spending two nights there, so we'll drive down on Sunday. On Monday, we'll take the local train from Manassas to the mall area. And then we'll also attend not only the inauguration on the mall, but also the parade afterwards. And then after all that's finished, we'll take the train back to Manassas, head to the hotel and depart next morning on Tuesday. So it's really all set up, really easy to get your reservations.
