1 of the key questions in the case is when doctors are allowed to perform an abortion in Idaho. There is an exception in state law for the life of the pregnant person, but doctors say it's not always clear when a condition becomes dire enough to be life-threatening as opposed to posing a serious risk to the woman's health. Lawmakers in Arizona's State House have advanced a proposed repeal of Arizona's near-total ban on abortions. The law dates to 1864 and only offers an exception for saving the patient's life. U.S. officials say Ukraine for the first time has used long-range ballistic missiles provided by Washington, striking a Russian military airfield in Crimea last week and another Russian-occupied location overnight. In February, the president directed his team to provide Ukraine with a significant number of the attackum's missiles for use inside Ukraine's sovereign territory. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, that shipment started moving in March as part of the PDA that the president authorized on March 12th, and those missiles have arrived in Ukraine. This followed Russia's procurement and use of North Korea's ballistic missiles against Ukraine, as well as Russia's renewed and escalating attacks against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Ukraine is thanking the U.S. for 61 billion dollars in new U.S. military aid. The package also included aid for Israel. On President Biden's notes, "This bill includes $1 billion from additional humanitarian aid in Gaza. We're going to immediately secure that aid and surge it, surge it, including food, medical supplies, clean water. And Israel must make sure all this aid reaches the Palestinians in Gaza without delay." It also included aid for Taiwan, which has made China unhappy. Beijing says the aid sends a wrong signal. This is AP News. Cicadas in South Carolina have gotten so loud people have been calling the police. Hi, Punjuani has the story. The Newbury County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina received noise complaints of sirens or a loud roar. Male Cicadas have been singing after more than a decade of being dormant to find a mate. And in this county, 40 miles northwest of Colombia, they've been so loud, the local sheriff, Lee Foster, says residents were calling the office to see what was going on. "You don't hear that noise here every day, and you don't hear it every year. So I think they were just concerned about what might be going on in their area. And we had several calls about that because it is quite loud." The county also took to Facebook to assure residents that Cicadas pose no danger to humans or pets. And that quote, "unfortunately, it is the sounds of nature." I'm Haya Punjuani. And I'm Ben Thomas. AP News. Thanks for listening. You see a family SUV.
