What if there was a day when we could come together to give to the causes we're most passionate about? Great news! There is! December 10th is Colorado Gives Day, and it's easily the best day to give. All the causes you care about are in one place, so let's start a wave of generosity across the state. Join us in lifting up our local communities. Give now through December 10th at ColoradoGivesDay.org. (Music) Good afternoon. It's Friday the 6th of December 2024. Just after 1 o'clock, welcome to UK Column News. I'm your host Mike Robinson. Joining me today we have Mark Anderson, and we've got to say Happy Birthday to Mark. We've got Debbie Evans, and in a minute we'll be speaking to Pierce Robinson as well. We get started with the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting, which finished on Wednesday. And here they all are, the bunch of fools that they are. And, well, Mark Rudder was in full flow with his narrative, so let's have a look and see what he was saying. Both Russia and China have tried to destabilize our countries and divide our societies with acts of sabotage, cyber attacks, and energy blackmail. NATO will work closely together with the EU on these issues. So again, we're back into using Trump as the sort of battering ram over the heads of the European Union to make sure that they start trying to spend more money on the military industrial complex and bring together more integration of their militaries under and put those militaries in the hands of Ursula von der Leyen. He went on to say these developments could destabilize the Korean Peninsula and even threaten the United States. So Russia's illegal war in Ukraine threatens us all. And here he was talking about the issues of Russia and their activities. And, of course, when we look at what's going on in South Korea, perhaps we shouldn't be saying this is being a separate event. Perhaps we should be looking very closely at that event. But Rudder himself, I just wanted to show another short clip of what he had to say. Ukraine is facing relentless bombardment, targeting civilian areas and critical infrastructure. And Russia is making gains along the front line, though at a high cost. This could be Ukraine's most difficult winter since 2022. We discussed what more allies can do to provide critical ammunition and air defenses. As Russia steps up its attacks and expands the war with the aid of North Korean troops and weapons. Allies are working to deliver on the financial pledge of 40 billion euros in security assistance for Ukraine in 2024. And I expect the new command in this burden, the NATO security assistance and training for Ukraine to be fully operational by the end of this year. But we must do more than just keep Ukraine in the fight. We must provide enough support to change the trajectory of this conflict once and for all. So he's absolutely clear that the trajectory has to be changed. We need to be building up much stronger defense, so-called defense, but military-industrial complex to change the trajectory of the Ukraine war. That narrative very much echoed by our own foreign minister, David Lamy. And I'm going to apologize in advance for even putting this on screen. But I think it's important that everybody hears what he had to say. We're living in very dangerous times, and as we look across the world with war here on our continent in Europe, with the tremendous aggression that we're seeing across the Middle East, with the hand of Iran, so present in the Middle East, and with this rising conflict in Sudan, and now in Syria, there is one country whose hand is in so much of it, and that is Russia. And that is why, as we meet here discussing these important issues, it's hugely important that we step up defense spending across NATO allies particularly. In the United Kingdom, we are at 2.3%, heading to 2.5% as soon as we can get there. And we urge all allies across the NATO family to get serious about defense spending. All of our populations require us to understand the tremendous security challenges that we are facing at this time. The time to act is... And I didn't chop the video off there, that was their excerpt, so the time to act is now, apparently. And of course, what we're seeing is conflict right across the world. Let me welcome Pierce Robinson to the program. Thank you for joining me. We're going to talk about Syria here. He was very clear in what he said there, that Russia is being blamed for absolutely everything, but it's not just Russia, it's Iran, it's North Korea, it's China as well. We have the resurgence of this Axis of Evil narrative that we heard back at the turn of the century. Yep, for sure. Starting with 9/11, the manufactured war trigger the false flag of 9/11. We had George Bush obviously talking about the Axis of Evil, and we had the regime change wars being initiated at that point. Afghanistan, Iraq, and then of course Syria were named, and Iran of course was named straight away following 9/11. It's in the internal documents you can see in the discussions between the then British Prime Minister Tony Blair and George W. Bush about when to get to Iran, so to speak. And we are now, 23 years later, in essentially the evolution of that war planning, that belligerent attempt to extend Western power into the 21st century. And it laid the groundwork, the groundwork, all the tracks which lead us to where we are now, and unfortunately we are in the foothills of a global conflict situation, where that will go. Nobody can tell at the moment, but it's certainly we are in a step up the escalation ladder, especially with what we're seeing at the moment in Syria, which appears to be a renewed drive to overthrow the Syrian government. We have Turkish involvement backing Israel and effectively the US NATO, I'm sure are part and parcel of what we're seeing play out now in Syria. And of course, that conflict can rearrange the framework of the Middle East effectively and the balance of power in the Middle East, and that's what this is all about now. And that's what it was all about, and it has been for 23 years to go down the memory lane on this. And we are now in an increasingly fraught international situation with a belligerent stance towards Russia, Russia always being blamed, as you say, but also all cards on the table, the dice being rolled in the Middle East now. And we have to see where it goes, I'm not going to make any predictions, but we're definitely on the step up the escalation ladder in terms of global conflict. Absolutely, and the Syrian conflict is escalating, as you say, but in fact, I think it was yesterday, perhaps in the Security Council, if we bring this on screen, this was the Russia, Russia, the United Nations tweeting this out. "Mr. Poliansky at the United Nations Security Council meeting on Syria, instead of establishing the truth with regard to the Duma incident and thus restoring the undermined trust towards the true motivation and objectives behind their work on the Syrian chemical file, the Western countries proceed with fabrications, tangling their web of lies and ever-growing massive knot." Of course, the West, NATO, the UK government, the US, and so on imply that any suggestion that what happened in Duma, which effectively is one of the things which justifies all the intervention in Syria, that this is somehow a Russian narrative, but of course appears that is not a Russian narrative. And in fact, you've been working very hard to try to raise the questions that need to be raised with respect to this for many, many years. This was published in April last year, five years on the OPCW Duma deception continues, but the key word there is "continues." And again, this is not a Russian narrative, this is absolutely the correct questions being asked of what was in fact a propaganda exercise by the West in Syria at that time. Well, for sure, this week has seen some orangorous exchanges in the UN Security Council. You had an emergency meeting on Syria on Tuesday, I think it was, and you had the extraordinary sight of Ried Saleh from the White Helmets being rolled out in order to make a number of claims, but also to reiterate claims about Duma, the alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria in 2018. And really sort of indicating very, very clearly that we're in a major propaganda drive now to try and see through the war regime or regime change wars and inverted commas, which is being applied to Syria now. So he appeared on Tuesday, and he cited Duma on Thursday in the UN Security Council, I think scheduled meeting where Syria was discussed, Syria chemical weapons issue was scheduled and came up. And again, it was reiterated, all of the allegations about Syrian chemical weapons use, all fitting in with what looks like a major propaganda drive to try and push and support the groups who are trying to overthrow the Syrian government and the external forces who are trying to overthrow the Syrian government. And the Russian Federation made very clear, they actually talked about, and this is where, as you say, this is not a Russian issue. The Russian delegation actually talked about the OPCW whistleblowers scientists who essentially called out the manipulation of the investigation into the alleged attack in Duma. And all of the evidence which emerged from essentially documents coming out into the public domain, but also testimonies effectively from OPCW officials was that that investigation was manipulated in order to point the finger at the Syrian government. All of the evidence certainly in my judgment points towards a false flag event, in that case, with the involvement of the white helmets, which is why I mentioned right so they appearing on Tuesday. And we and working alongside Jose Bastani, who's the first Director General of the OPCW, along with Hans von Sponick, former Assistant Secretary General to UN and also Professor Richard Falk. We have repeatedly put all of the factual questions to states parties and the OPCW raised by the OPCW whistleblowers, and they're not able to answer any of them. All they're able to do is to either smear or just to stonewall refuse to answer. And here we are, and that is still a live issue and it's still being pushed, but the West is doubling down as ever on this issue, even to the extent of having the head of the white helmets and the UN Security Council. And certainly from the tone of the Russian delegate, the Russian ambassador, I think the Russians seem to be somewhat losing their temper at this point in the game. But it's an extraordinary case, and it's a extraordinary event where you have scientists within the OPCW calling this out, of course, always being refrained as a Russian propaganda, but the scientists involved, but nothing to do with the Russian Federation. They are two of the most experienced scientists from the OPCW, who essentially called out the corruption of that investigation. And yeah, it's in a way amazing to see, but in a way entirely predictable, because my suspicion was that their refusal to answer questions, including from the Brazilian government over the Duma investigation was all underpinned by the fact that they needed to maintain a narrative on chemical weapons, deception regarding Syria, and they had to maintain it because the plan was when the opportunity arises to go again to try to overthrow the Syrian government, and that's what we've got now. And so I think, as I suspected for a number of years now, that myself and Jose and Hans, we've been up against an ongoing propaganda operation, which explains the refusal to want, so she explains the smear campaign who've all been subjected to. But yeah, that's the amazing sort of place we are now at, and this is being sort of argued out at UN Security Council level again, and a Russian Federation being very blunt now about the OPCW, but also the US government and their inability to answer very straightforward questions, and put them to them for five years now, about the Duma investigation and about the manipulation of that investigation to point finger at the Syrian government. Thank you very much for that. Now I'm just going to briefly mention that, of course, the mainstream media continues to also propagandize and the BBC this morning, thousands flee Syrian city of homes as Islamist led rebels advanced further. Let's call them what they are, they are terrorists, the BBC should be calling them terrorists, if you want to see the context of this watch Wednesday's UK column news when Vanessa was on the program and just want to mention in passing here that the mail online has been forced to make a correction with respect to the Ukraine coverage because they claimed that they had a photograph of North Korean women being used as cannon fodder in Ukraine, and well they've had to withdraw that because it was a fake image. Of course that went into the corner of their website and the clarifications corrections site here is the original, the image that they claimed was from Ukraine in recent days. And you'll notice there that this is from an organization called East to West news. That's the copyright on the image East to West news. So let's have a look at who they are they apparently are this organization East to West limited, which is a limited company but it basically has one person working for it. And that is William Stewart, and William Stewart you will find on a host of articles on a host of UK based news organizations the sun the express, the daily mail others absolutely pushing an anti Russian narrative. And peers just very very briefly if we could, we just want to highlight an event which is taking place on the UK column website on the 15th of this month on Sunday at 6pm UK time. And this is the second David Ray Griffin lecture featuring Dr Madhava get setty. Yeah, so this is International Center for 9/11 Justice annual David Ray Griffin lecture and Madhava setty will be giving the talk and will then have a very fascinating and round table discussion afterwards. Because you don't know David Ray Griffin is one of the lead professors who really sort of established a more accurate historical record on 9/11 and what happened afterwards. And our annual lecture is a tribute to him. And this is going to be a very interesting discussion. Madhava setty is very interested as we are IC 911 in terms of linking together people who have woken up about COVID-19 with the other big dissident community out there who have woken up about the Western imperialist war. And there's a lot of overlap and there's a lot of synergy, which can be created. But Madhava will be talking a little bit about that and then more broadly about issues of waking up awareness and so on and awareness to truth and how to cope with that and how to move forward in terms of pushing back against powerful actors who use propaganda and deception against us in order to pursue their various agendas. Thank you Peter so that'll be the 15th Sunday the 15th at 6pm UK time and of course you'll be able to see that live on the UK column website peers thank you very much for joining us today and we'll speak again very very soon I hope. Thank you. Right Debbie let's come to the UK then and to you and we are a little bit behind time but that's okay. Let's talk about scrapping the app. Yes good afternoon everybody, lovely to be here and yes let's talk about because apps seem to be in vagaling our lives so thank you so much for this graphic Mike scrap the app. I do hope everyone can share it wherever they go because if you would like to consider deleting and scrapping the NHS app let's tell you who has your data. So I just want to bring your attention to the Washington Examiner here because you might not realize but Peter Thiel has bankrolled President Trump's campaign Peter Thiel PayPal founder also co founder of Palantier is looking a bit like the administration might be turning into a bit of a public private partnership doesn't it here but anyway let's look at golf news to confirm Peter Thiel's involvement calling him an anti globalist I think that's probably up for discussion but we've got a nice picture here of President elect Trump and Peter Thiel holding hands in a very kind of odd way I thought but anyway let's go back to Palantier because all roads lead to Palantier and this is a very interesting report actually if you want to go and read it no tech for tyrants have it's a very in depth report was brought out in September 2020 but their roads also go to the CIA Mossad and of course to the NHS. So if we look at the Palantier for health care page on the NHS we can see clearly that they're embedded however this is not where it stops we already know that Palantier pretty much run the NHS app but according to pharma forum the NHS data is in the spotlight again because Palantier have apparently won a new contract well what's all this about so further on in the article it says that this is a 12 month contract worth 25 million but it will put them in a good position to pick up a nice cool 480 million contract to provide the federated interesting term word the federated data platform which is where all the NHS data will eventually sit however it would appear that people are very happy and they're thinking if we've got a third party looking after our we might want to opt out and the report also goes on to site you gov actually which says that 48% of UK adults who haven't yet opted out probably would be likely to do so if the federated data platform is run by a private company which clearly looks as though it might be so let's go back to our good friends not satony blare and according to the BBC blare and hey well what are they up to they say quite rightly actually the NHS data is very very valuable well how they go on to say that the NHS should sell anonymized medical records to harness a new biotechnology revolution in fact they're talking about the NHS wealth of data and of course this is the unique selling point for the UK in that we have the data so let's look at satony blare's new national purpose leading biotech revolution here's the paper here but it goes on to say that they want to harness the power of tech they want to reimagine the state and public services so basically they're talking about restructuring Westminster here and I think you're going to see a lot about this in the very near future but going on in the report they're calling for a new laboratory, a laboratory of bio design which will bring innovation and talent to the UK, we don't want to be left behind according to satony blare and in summary in their report they basically just reiterate that we need to have a leading position, a leading a presence on the stage of global science and innovation, and you know I have to say that if you go on to the next topic again it just gets worse because we're going to ping and book. Have you heard about pinging and booking because now you can women are going to be encouraged to ping and book to book cancer screening. What else can you do on the app, I mean let's just stay on the NHS app for a minute so you can register with a GP surgery, now a lot of people are telling me that they can no longer register unless they register through the app, plenty of surgeries asking you now to register through the app, what else can the app do, well it can notify you, apparently it's got a secure inbox which allows patients to receive messages. So eventually this app's going to be the way the citizens in England anyway, receive their messaging and this is my point is that the NHS are coming to you, they're going to be invagling your phone your device your email. It's no longer up to us to contact the NHS when we want to, it's now for the NHS to contact us at any time of the day or night but what are the benefits. Well of course it all comes down to money, it saves money, they say it's safer and more secure, I have my doubts, they say it's reliable, I think all of that is up for discussion but if it's not the NHS app, which app is it so this shockingly came out as the Financial Times to say that according to them, we've got staff using NHS staff using and sharing patient data through WhatsApp and it reveals more, it goes on to say that doctors are routinely using WhatsApp to share confidential medical data, even sensitive data such as blood tests and results like x-rays for example, so this is a really big thing and in Bristol we've got a new study coming out with the University of Manchester where they're going to evaluate back pain through a phone app. Now this is particularly interesting because if we go on to see this new research project, researchers are going to look and assess another app, which is going to be called Get You Better app. We're going to be seeing does it help improve patients pain and engage them in data in daily living activities and my question would be it might not help the patient but I'm sure it will help DWP when they're assessing people for PIP and disability assessments just throwing out there. But we do have concerns according to digital help of course that this all of this app and accessing through the app is going to exclude elderly people and I'm quite sure that it will but it does beg the question is who could access that data on behalf of an elderly person. But we've met Professor Joe Harrison before we've seen him on the board meeting getting very excited about the NHS app he really is very excited and he's going to be telling us much more about what's coming in the NHS app at the rewired exhibition in 2025 and I just want to show you this rewired exhibition because if you're interested in knowing more, it's at the NEC in Birmingham on the 18th to 19th of March, and that lady there pictured that's Dr Charlotte refsum now that you'll be relieved to know that she'll be present and correct and she's the Director of Health Policy at the Tony Blair Institute for Change so I knew you'd be reassured to know that. And you know going on with apps in general, I just want to show you something I walked past my local shop just the other day and it was perfectly fine and then I walked past it two nights ago, and this had popped up overnight just outside and it scanned tap and go with conveniently CCTV, but as you can see there you have to download the app to collect the parcels we're using apps more and more and more, but on a positive final notes before we come to a quick little video as a self confess of myself, we could actually be giving the government a bit of a headache so if you are a technophobe and if you do think that you would like to consider to scrap the app because plenty of us don't want it, then Sam very kindly has done a very short 15 second little video to show you that if you choose to delete it, this is how. The app icon, hold down the icon button until the menu appears, click app info. In the new menu you're taken to click uninstall. And it's that simple. Thank you, thank you very much. Mark, let's come on to you now and the question of the population. Indeed, Mike, good day everyone, T.S. Eliot in the poet in the poems, excuse me, he's a course of poem poet, and in his poem The Hollow Man, he wrote that the world could end not with a bang but with a whimper. And the irony here is that the think tankers, in this case the United States, are of all things they're looking at depopulation. And if you look of course at the legacy of think tanks and the elite money from which they sprang, many of the wars and many of the upheavals in the world that have threatened populations have come from them. We're looking at this very same ilk looking you might say at their own handiwork but maybe not admitting it. Anyway, in this first slide we have Danielle Pledka, a distinguished senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, one of many think tanks on think tank on the West Side of a row Massachusetts Avenue DC. She deals with US Defense and Foreign Policy, Middle East, International Terrorism, et cetera. This is her article, a very recent November 30, where have all the people gone. She interviewed a Nicholas Eberstadt, a Henry went chair in political economy at the American Enterprise Institute. And this is Danielle Pledka writing what what she wrote about him for decades he has exposed the terrible realities of China's evil one child policy, helped us understand why the Soviets and then the Russians have declining life expectancy, and now flag the impending depopulation of the world. And this is important and this part is accurate the first time in recorded human history that we are tipping towards fewer and not more inhabitants on planet Earth, but by choice, unlike the Black Death, the plague and things like that. Nicholas says 70% of humanity now lives in countries with below replacement level fertility rates, as Pledka observed having interviewed Mr Eberstadt. And we'll move on from there. I did a little statement by Danielle Pledka and then I answered a couple of her statements so I'm referring to some notes that I wrote down here, author Danielle Pledka said in this article that takes into account Mr Eberstadt. Well, the social safety nets that the left of doors will be unsustainable and the increasingly insolvent US Social Security system will collapse. My answer to that is that safety net is based on the current monetary paradigm. If nation states were to end their borrowing addiction and create interest free debt free money, then these states would no longer foolishly dig holes of debt entrapment, just to finance social retirement and the overall safety net, everything would become much more manageable. In other words, Ms. Ms. Pledka added, well, the health burden of a society is weighted toward the elderly who are living longer and longer and my answer to that is the claim that people are living longer and longer while generally true over longer periods of time is now visibly changing as a vaccine injuries and deaths contaminated and overly processed food contaminated water supplies you name it GMO etc are eroding lifespan metrics and there's a lot of literature out there to support that. And I will continue to explore this, Ms. Pledka also said, quote, it's not crazy to think about the impact of China's shrinking youth demographic in China, of course, decades of forced abortion, enable the one child policy, and that also means fewer women to marry as well. And I answered that the words forced abortion are easy for elites to say when they speak of other countries that they've deemed authoritarian like China, but in Western states, such as the UK and US abortion while it's not exactly forced is relentlessly and radically promoted and protected under a thick layer of lies. It's basically a secular religious sacrament abortion is by the legacy media cartel promoted by that media promoted by most of the medical world and of course by Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, never does the right to life of the preborn child enter into the discussion. The effect on future population levels in the US alone of some 60 million aborted babies since 1973's Roe v Wade is almost beyond calculation, yet the establishment of which is apart, scarcely recognizes the obvious impact of severing so many bloodlines on population levels at such a massive scale. Anyway, going on from there, there's some other basic observations from various sources I gathered. Ms. Pletka and Mr. Ebersat are both saying that the red a Thurnberg world of constant fear of a future climate catastrophe is likely a factor that's discouraging reproduction there's probably some truth to that people have a dire look at the future. But then they're also claiming that smartphone addiction is affecting human relations in the wrong sort of way, and that that is leading to smaller families things like that. The economist has said Trump is going to pay birth birth bonuses upon his reelection, paying people to have children even Francis McCrone is supposedly saying that we'll see if that happens. And birth incentive programs according to Pletka and Ebersat allegedly have failed. And the Institute of Family Studies, however, begs to differ and says that Poland's generous pro natal policy with major support from a nearly universal cash benefit is evidently working to increase the incentives to have larger families. And many have adopted the Malthusian viewpoint, fewer people is better, more food for the living, more housing, things like that. Ebersat has said the U.S. is resisting the depopulation trend with its presumably high fertility rates. Nevertheless, the U.S. had only 1.6 births per woman on average in 2023 below the replacement level of about 2.2. And the U.S. Census Bureau is also projecting that the U.S. population, for example, will peak in 2080 and then head into a continuous decline thereafter. So from there, there's a couple of call out quotes, Nick Ebersat, this is winding up and summarizing my report for today. He's saying we won't be able to keep the pay as you go welfare state. That's going to be a doom loop when there are fewer earners than there are recipients. And Mr. Ebersat went on to say that as long as we continue to increase our productivity, our health, our knowledge, I think we're going to be able to maintain and improve wealth and prosperity, even in a shrinking aging world. And again, there's this kind of false optimism, you might say, Mike, about the future where they're saying that we're all living longer. We're getting healthier all the time. And these, of course, are very challengeable claims. I mentioned in here too, as I put this report together, nothing is said about the illustrious authors, Pletka and Ebersat about vaccine-related injuries, vaccine-related deaths, and the long-term potential of those things on fertility, perhaps increasing the death rate. And nothing is said about something that's rarely discussed in this context, and that's the effects of pornography, even though the Federation of Catholic Family Associations has convincingly linked porn to a lack of human procreation, because it changes the nature of sexuality and human relations. And this is an important slide that spells out a little bit more about the viewpoint of the Federation of Catholic Family Associations. Its motto is "families are Europe's treasure." And it just mentions that the subtle effects of porn consumption, such as a reluctance to commit to a relationship, that those effects will multiply into future generations, and those generations may be unwilling to enter or stay in stable relationships based on fidelity and monogamy. And since a stable relationship is the first basis to start a family, porn consumption thus impacts the very wish to have children. So that's one of the most important parts, though not the only one, that is not covered by these elites in their sudden interest and depopulation. But this also offers some ironies that I'll cover later about the impact of illegal immigration. There is a tie into that issue, Mike, that I'll talk about later, so back to you. Thank you very much for that, Mark. Now, if you like what the UK column does, you would like to support us. The place to go is support.uk column.org. We do need your help. Your container support allows us to do what we do. If you'd like to make a donation, you can do that there, or you can join as a member and their various membership levels. You could pick something up at the UK column shop, or you could pick something up from Clive2Car.com if you're interested in your health, and we get a small commission every time somebody buys something via the link on the support.uk column website. Please do if you're looking at the shop, consider a gift voucher for Christmas for somebody, a friend or family, or a copy of agenda 21, your life and their hands by Martin Edwards that's still available for anybody. But if you can't do any of that, please do share material because of course this helps helps us massively as well. And the share buttons are on the pages of all the articles videos and blog posts that are there. Debbie, very briefly, please, your blog, your latest blog. Yeah, a bit cold, so a few hints and tips for hypothermia. And guess what, Dr. Tech Kong and I would like to buy a hospital and there's plenty for sale. Check out the blog. Okay, thank you. And the final, well, well, I guess it's pretty much the final reminder about the petition and wills for the vaccine injured. Yes, I'll please everybody I've just checked it just two minutes ago and we're now just over 8000 signatures we need 10,000 signatures to ensure diagnosis and treatment for people suffering from adverse covert 19 vaccine side effects and can I just say it's Alison Butler's birthday today she started this petition, and she says that the best birthday present ever would be a signature so even if you don't believe in petitions please believe in the vaccine injured. I believe in Alison and please put your signature to only a couple more days to go. Brilliant. Thank you, Debbie, and a reminder, a final reminder that Sandy Adams will be speaking at the Chiswick Memorial Club tonight in Chiswick in London. That begins one factor today and but it's happening right now. So if you're in that area, maybe you'd like to pop along. Yesterday, fantastic news because care farmers stood up with this new plan for change and you can see the five areas that he's going to really focus on for to bring this massive change to the United Kingdom everything is going to be absolutely wonderful and he is going to save the world. And if you believe that well you believe anything but he's going to kick start economic growth. He's going to build an NHS fit for the future. I'm sure Debbie will have something to say about that in extra. He's going to make the streets safer he's going to break down the barriers to opportunity. And well he's going to do something else as well but well maybe this little video clip will tell us more about that one of the things he's going to do is build one and a half million new homes because of course we've got this one and a half million new people that we've got a house. And so we've got a we've got a house in summer so going to build lots more homes we're going to end NHS backlogs as we said. And we're going to get more police on the streets and whatnot but let's just focus for a second on the one and a half million new homes. He's made a pledge to make planning decisions on at least 150 major infrastructure projects and deliver one and a half million homes in this parliament. So within the next four and a half years, this is going to be an ambitious milestone for change. It's going to triple the number of decisions being made in parliament compared to the previous parliament. And I think that should be a real alarm bill for a lot of people because they're going to allegedly make so many decisions that people aren't going to be able to keep on top of them. We need to be watching these people ever closer and the mainstream media is not doing that job so that relies on the UK column. It relies on all independent media and it relies on all of us as individuals to be watching very closely what they're doing. Government goes for growth with a rate of house building and infrastructure construction not seen for over 50 years as they're clean. So they've set up a new homes accelerator group. They have set up proposals for brownfield passports to ensure where planning proposals meet design and quality standards. The default answer to planning permission is yes. And they're creating a new independent new times task force as part of a long term vision to create large sale communities of at least 10,000 new homes each. There's nothing in this. It's all about house building. Nothing about this about schools, about hospitals, about roads, about rail links, about public transport. It's just about homes. So they go on to say that the budget recently confirmed that the government investment in housing will increase to five billion pounds for the next year. This includes 500 million pounds worth a new funding for affordable homes program to support efforts in delivering tens of thousands of new affordable and social homes across the country. Why do we got this pressure for this? Well, of course, because of the open borders policy and the fact that we have uncontrolled migration into this country. And so maybe the place to start with this is right there, but that's another question. One of the other things that he mentioned in his delightful speech yesterday was how Britain is going to be a clean energy superpower. He's going to protect bill pairs by putting putting us on track to clean power by 2030. And, well, let's just have, again, I'm really sorry to do this to everybody. Let's just have a quick listen to what he said about that. Five, clean power by 2030. Homegrown British energy, making our country more secure. So never again can a tyrant like Putin attack the living standards of working people. So a tyrant like Putin, because it all comes back to Russia again, but the mainstream press right across the map presses describing this as care starmers reset. And I believe he's used this term himself. I did hear it being used, and I was not able to find the clip on that this morning, but it's all over the mainstream media. In fact, the independent was cheeky enough to call it care starmers great reset. So I just wanted to end this segment with this post from someone called Adam Richards on Facebook, because as far as I'm concerned, this nails, absolutely nails it. So he said, wake up people, ask yourself why the nation is featuring facing and hardness tax changes, particularly for farms and also employer national insurance increases. It has nothing to do with the public finances because both measures will result in job losses, closures or sales small businesses reduce tax take and increased welfare bills. The narrative is about the 22 billion black hole, and the public services is just that a cover narrative, hiding a much darker agenda. So why is it being done, just like lockdowns during COVID, it's being done to destroy small businesses and massively reduce the number of people who own assets that can make money. The intent is to push more and more ownership of landed businesses and corporate hands, where it can be monetized and controlled. It's all about making sure everyone else has no money, no assets, and no par, that it is the great reset in action, centralization of par and wealth, the new feudalism. We will all be the new peasants. What you're witnessing is our new leaders, whom we know have greater loyalty to Davos than their own country implementing what they've learned there just as Trudeau has in Canada and root a tried in the Netherlands. And he finished off by saying, so the time for lawful resistance is now, if we don't do it now, we won't get another chance. And we'll be on the slippery slope of owning nothing, and depending utterly on big businesses and governments for our wellbeing. Do you want that? I certainly don't. And I certainly don't either. I don't imagine Debbie and Mark do either. We will talk about this more in extra, but I thought Adam's comments there were bang on the money. But Mark, let me come back to you then, and the issue of migration. Yes, there's been a major development here in the States in very recent days, Mike. And that has to do with some land in Texas. I'm referring to a news brief that I wrote to get all this together a little early in the morning here. A star county Texas near where I live, it appears President-elect Donald Trump will accept an offer from the Texas General Land Office for the federal government to use 1400 plus acres of land that the state now owns in Star County for Trump's proposed detention and large-scale deportation operations. It's a lot of land in a very remote area. Since this particular Trump proposal is a major item on his domestic agenda, all eyes are on him. The eyes of his friends and foes alike to see if he'll really carry out this deportation plan, which would be the largest in U.S. history. Trump has clarified that he'll focus mainly on deporting illegal aliens who've committed serious crimes, not just anyone. And we'll move on from there. I have a map that shows those not familiar with this part of Texas, what this is all about. This is the Rio Grande Valley, a pretty large four county area in the southern tip of Texas. I happen to live in Hidalgo, the orange colored one. But the big blue arrow to the left shows approximately where that state land is going to be located that would be the platform, allegedly, supposedly for the deportation and detention plan. So that's where it would be. It shows the entire state of Texas there to give you an even better idea. And we'll go from there, and we'll talk about the scale of deportation. Trump says perhaps 20 million illegal aliens are living in the U.S., but he focused on those who've committed serious crimes, but adding those whose asylum bids may have been denied by the courts. That's another criterion. Trump has vowed to exceed or surpass the 1950s operation, wetback, interesting name under President Eisenhower. That was a deportation plan then. When the when the federal government claimed it sent 1.3 million people back to Mexico and other countries. Meanwhile, the Pew Research Center claims the number of illegals living in the U.S. is only about half or around 11 million. And we've got a letterhead from commissioner Don Buckingham, who happens to be a medical doctor from the Texas General Land Office. She noted as Texas Land Commissioner, I recently acquired this 1,402 acre ranch along the border near Rio Grande City in less than 24 hours after the purchase on October 23rd. I granted a 7,600 foot long or 1.5 mile easement across the property, allowing the Texas border wall to be built. And one question that that opens up, Mike, is some unassembled border wall sections, only a few miles from me. Will they be reassembled and built into this new border wall or newly, newly you might say, re-continued border wall. They stopped it during Biden. They took some of it down. Now, will they continue putting it up using those discarded sections? We'll soon find out. We have a call out quote from the General Land Office Commissioner Don Buckingham. She said quote, "My office was able to survey several islands in the Rio Grande River. A lot of people don't know it has islands and declare those islands part of Texas, thereby permitting law enforcement." She says to end all human trafficking and all drug smuggling on those islands. This is her claim. I haven't been able to totally confirm that. And then I yesterday spoke to former sheriff Joe Arpaio, the well-known Maricopa County Arizona sheriff from 1993 to 2017. A good friend of President Trump and a good contact of mind. When I asked him how realistic Trump's deportation plan is, Mike, he said quote, "It's how you do it and how much help you have when doing it." And I'll mention that when I interviewed Arpaio in his office near Phoenix last year, he reminded me that one of the best approaches to curb illegal immigration was to work directly with Mexico like he did as a leading DEA agent within Mexico in the 1970s. He was also a diplomatic attache at the time, and he was able to persuade Mexico's government to get involved. He believes cutting foreign aid will do more to get Mexico on board than applying tariffs to Mexican imports into the U.S. We'll see what happens. But in irony, I wanted to mention, Mike, as I wind this up, is that right now with the U.S. having such a low birth rate, but the Central American countries having comparatively higher birth rates, the U.S. actually, to some extent, needs that foreign labor for harvesting crops for a time, even though many agree that this mass migration is way over the top and needs to be seriously cut back. But that's one of the ironies, the unintended consequences, you might say, of these trends. So we can talk about that a little more in extra, among other things. So that's it for today on that subject. Thanks, Mark. I think we could probably have a discussion about whether the consequences are unintended, or unintended, because I would argue that they're absolutely intended. But, Debbie, let's come back to you then. And, well, the question is neurotechnology. Yes, it is indeed. And I want to thank Stephanie, actually, our very own producer, Stephanie Sinclair, for introducing me to a piece of video that nobody knew quite what it was or who it was. And this has taken me on to this segment today. So what are you thinking? Are your memories yours? I want to introduce you firstly to Elizabeth Loftus. Now, she's in her 80s now. She's an American cognitive psychologist, and she's best known for the misinformation effect, or false memories. Here's a little clip, Elizabeth Loftus. The work that I do involves studying people's false beliefs and false memories. It turns out that we actually sometimes believe that things happen to us or even have memories for things that never happen. And in the work that I do, I actually deliberately try to plant false beliefs or false memories into the minds of people so I can watch this process happen. So we have gotten people to believe that they were lost in a shopping mall for an extended time, that they were frightened and crying and had to be rescued and reunited with the family. We've gotten people to believe that they broke a window and cut their hand, or even that they witnessed demonic possession as a child, or that they met and shook hands with Bugs Bunny at Disneyland. All of these are things that didn't happen, and yet we can get people to remember that they did. So let's talk 2024 and let's talk the reality of neurotech and what actually is neurotech. So it's a fusion of neuroscience and technology. I don't think you should ever be actually using the words brain, mind and technology together to be quite honest, especially how we're going to see it. So how are they doing it? Well, neurofeedback, functional magnetic resonance imaging, which is otherwise known as MRI, brain computer interfaces transcranial magnetic stimulation and neuro prosthetics, which is otherwise known as mind reading devices, revealing the brain secrets, such as neurolink. And of course we all know neurolink Elon Musk, another big supporter of President Trump so Elon Musk has got this big huge brainship business and Palantir and Peter Thiel have got the data. Are you putting things together so it doesn't just stop at neurolink though we do have other companies beyond neurolink. So we're looking at synchron here, which is Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. I probably don't have to say too much more. But the Financial Times has also brought out a recent article talking about, I think you'll probably remember conspiracy theories a long time ago talking about graphene and the significance of graphene. Well, it's no longer a conspiracy, because here you are the Financial Times brain implant made from graphene set to begin UK trial. And here is the trial. It comes from Manchester launched in September 24. Apparently they're going to be using graphene when it comes to precision surgery. I'm sure it'll be expanded, but just take note of the word neuro electronics, because that in itself is very important. And I just want to introduce you to a film documentary called I am human. And the reason I want to introduce you to this is because of this lady, Professor of Law and Philosophy, Nita Farahani. And I want you to take note of what the documentary is so it's billed as a thriller, a science fiction into technology, and they say what it means to be human is about to vastly change. Professor Farahani is also of the World Economic Forum stable. She's also Professor of Law and Philosophy and Founding Director of Duke Science and Society of Society. Let's just introduce you very quickly to Professor Nita Farahani. Listen carefully. We are about to enter into the most consequential revolution in the history of the human race, where we can take control of our cognitive evolution. What if we could expand your capabilities beyond? What we as humans have never had before? What we're seeing is that technology is becoming part of us, because we're linking biological brains directly to machines. We're handing the reins of our own minds to us. We get to choose how we think who we are. We're talking about technologies that could radically alter the way we are as human beings. History is littered with good intentions. But if we start tinkering with a brain, we start changing it. Are we about to fundamentally change what it means to be human? And if so, are we okay with that? Did it send a chill down your spine? It did mine. So here's Professor Nita Farahani's page at the WEF, if you want to go and have a look at it. And the next bit of video, very short clip of video, is what Stephanie Sinclair sent me, and this is what started this whole topic of. So have a look at Professor Nita Farahani at the WEF and what she has to say. Interestingly, not just from neuroscience, but also from psychology, there's a wonderful researcher by the name of Elizabeth Loftus, who's done some really fascinating work looking at planting false memories. And she has a great TED talk on this as well, talking about planting false memories, where she successfully, in a number of experiments, has planted false memories, including people believing that they've been at Disney World with characters who are not Disney characters, taking photographs with those characters, or that they've seen a stop sign that wasn't actually there simply by manipulating images and stories that she tells to them, and then they come back into the lab. And they are convicted in their belief. And so there's some really interesting research that we can plant false memories in the brain. And in a different context, one of the emerging areas that's really interesting in law and neuroscience is pain detection. And once we understand the circuit trees that cause pain, I guess the question is, could we then instill pain and use that in many coercive measures in the legal system as well. Well, that's amazing. Instilling pain for coercion measures. So can we spy on the brain? Is your mind your thoughts private? So this is what Professor Nita Farahani has to say about spying on your brain. If we lived in a world of total transparency, if even what you're thinking right now is something that you could know that I could know, and that we all could see. And we've been able to decode that now through a simple consumer based EEG device such that we can literally see what he's thinking. Now, we're not yet at the point where what all of you are thinking right now is something that like a little thought bubble above your head is something we can see, but we're getting there. We're getting to the point where there is transparency, a thought of emotion, which means that the NSA and other organizations can spy not just on your email and your cell phones, but soon potentially on your brains as well. And she's right because they are doing that right now. But how? How are you? How's your brain being spied on? What's under your Christmas tree this year? Have a listen. Wearable devices. So these are brain sensors that are starting to be embedded in everyday devices, but until now have been a number of niche companies that really have focused on mindfulness and meditation. The use of, for example, brain centers that can pick up electrical activity in the brain at a pretty low resolution, but advances in AI have both improved what the signal is that can come from the brain and enabled the miniaturization of those products. Because a lot of the major tech companies start to invest in these brain sensors, it's a huge, I think, untapped market in many ways of integrating them into everyday devices. These are earbuds or watches or headphones and the soft cups around the ears. Many of those products are hitting the market this year, and others are hitting them within the next two years such that people can listen to music, a phone call, et cetera, while having those devices in years. Initially, what they will be capable of doing is very high level brain state reading. Things like, are you tired? Are you paying attention? Is your mind wandering? Are you happy or sad? They may be enable interaction like up, down, left, right for interaction with other technologies, and they're being embedded into things like virtual reality headsets. And yes, they are real. They are available. And here's the proof with plenty more coming down the line. And I will ask just one more time. Do you know what's in your headphones? Do you know who's listening to your brain? Do you know what's underneath your Christmas tree? Careful what you wish for over to you, Mike. Thanks, Debbie. Well, look, we're just going to finish today. I mean, Brian mentioned the passing of Doctor and the Busre, if I've pronounced her name correctly on Monday, but you just wanted to end with a tribute today. Yes, I would. Thank you so much. And in my day, we walked around the ward at this time of the year with our capes back inside out. We were singing carols and saying prayers. And I thought this picture of nurses in an old school Nightingale ward was very poignant, because very, very sadly, Anna de Busre tragically lost her fight to cancer on Saturday, November, Saturday, November the 30th, 2024. She was surrounded by her family. She'd been posting on X, just a couple of days before her condition suddenly deteriorated incredibly and I'm just devastated to hear an amazing warrior. She did so much and said so much stood up for justice, informed consent, the vaccine injured, absolutely extraordinary incredible soul, a brilliant lawyer who fought for justice and we will continue fighting in Anna's name. I just wanted to finish with a little with her own words actually from playing God which UK column premiered in the UK. So from Anna herself, just some amazingly poignant words and our thoughts and prayers and thanks to her family for everything in memory of Anna de Busre. You have the inalienable fundamental right to life and no one has the right to take that away from you. In our society we allow for killing by mistake and intentional murder. And what I liken it to is the film Mad Max, which was a completely lawless society. But essentially, you know, whose fault is that? Under the human rights instruments, particularly the international covenants on, you know, the international human rights covenants, it specifically places an obligation on the state who gives an undertaking. So it's the most serious promise you can give that they will respect, promote, uphold, etc human rights. And there's also information online to donate to help the family with funeral costs in memory of Anna de Busre. And that'll be in the show notes on the UK column website so do get along and have a look at that if you possibly can. Thank you very much Debbie. Thank you Mark. Thank you to peers for joining us at the beginning of the program. We've got to leave it there for now. We'll be back on the live stream for members for some UK column news extra in a couple of minutes. If you are not a member, consider joining because we do need your support, as we said, and you would then be able to watch extra. But if you're not watching, have a great weekend. We'll be back as usual 1pm on Monday and we'll see you then. Bye bye. What if there was a day when we could come together to give to the causes we're most passionate about? Great news. There is. December 10th is Colorado Gives Day, and it's easily the best day to give. All the causes you care about are in one place, so let's start a wave of generosity across the state. Join us in lifting up our local communities. Give now through December 10th at ColoradoGivesDay.org. (gentle music) You
