She was born in Buncombe County, was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church for more than 30 years, and worked at Carristan Rugmill in the Burling Department until retirement. Surviving our daughters Nancy Woods and Dickey, Bula Hubbard, Beth Hall, and Greg Miller, son Otis Hall Jr., all of Eden, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Otis Hall Sr. The celebration of life ceremony for Holly Neves-Gilly Going is Friday at 2. Visitation at 1 with private burial at Overlook Cemetery. In her younger years, she was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader, and participated in many organizations, Daughters of the American Revolution, Stonewall Garden Club, and Magnet Charter Dames. Surviving our children, William Edward Cruz Jr., and Alison Claybrook Collins Cruz, and Kimberly Michelle Cruz, and Charles Lynn Hank Hawkins, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and sister Hazel Taylor Sparks and Titus. She was preceded in death by husband William Edward Cruz. All thanks to Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare and Arthora Care Collective.
