Welcome to December 4th on the National Day Calendar. Today we're celebrating a sweet treat that's loved by all in an everyday item that deserves our appreciation. Visit our website, nationaldaycalendar.com for our full color printed guide to all the fun and unusual ways to celebrate every day. Cookies and all their wonderful varieties have a special place in our culinary hearts. Cookie. Whether it's a classic chocolate chip, a spicy gingerbread, or a delicate macaron, there's a cookie to match every mood and occasion. This humble sweet treat small enough to be eaten in a few bites brings joint comfort like no other. On National Cookie Day, let's celebrate this deliciously versatile dessert that plays a starring role in our fondest food memory. So I know you have a favorite. Well, my grandmother made some of the best molasses cookies and they had cream cheese frosting on them and she would store them in little snack bags back-to-back and they'd keep in the freezer. Yeah. Her brother would always come over and says, no, I'm on a diet. I just want one cookie frosted on both sides. That's, that's quite the story. Now let's take a moment to give thanks for an often overlooked but essential part of our wardrobes. Our socks, they keep our feet warm, add a pop of personality to our outfits, and let's not forget their vital role in impromptu puppet shows. Fun fact, socks have been around for centuries with the oldest paradating back to 4th century Egypt on National Stock Day. Let's show some appreciation for these unsung heroes of our attire. Whether you're rocking colorful patterns, sporty ankle socks, or cozy wool in ones, remember to give your socks the recognition and dessert. So it is, we are here today, to honor the memory of the late sock to me. I love the fact we sell so many different ones here. Well, we have a ton of socks. In fact, I think people are stunned when they walk in here and see hundreds of kinds of socks. As a sock for every national day. There is almost anyway. Almost. I'm Chris Fandiventor. I'm Marlo Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. Join us for all of our adventures on Facebook and Instagram at Destination Celebration Show. Until next time, keep celebrating. Oh, I do love a good cookie and we need extra thick socks today, that's for sure. Okay, now let's see who's celebrating. On the birthday club. Christmas makes you feel emotional. It may bring parties or thoughts emotional. Whatever happens or what may be. Here is what Christmas time means to me. City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. In the air, there's a feeling, the Christmas. Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile, and on every street corner. Silver bells, silver bells. It's Christmas time in the city. Bring a name, hear them rain. Soon it will be Christmas day. Strings of street lights, even stoplights, blink of bright red and green. As the sharpens rush home with their treasures. Hear the snow crunch, see the kids punch. This is Santa's big scene, and above all this bustle you hear. Silver bells, silver bells, silver bells. It's Christmas time in the city. Bring a name, hear them rain. Soon it will be Christmas day. That's nice. We have an extra song in our music spotlight today from Steve Alamo who died a few days ago, a teen idol in the early 1960s, and a host of Dick Clark's "Where the Action Is." Yes, a lot of us remember watching that show. Steve Alamo. "Every day I have to cry a song, every day I have to cry a song, drive a water from my eyes, a song, every day I have to cry." There was a little girl I had planned to marry. This was my love, I didn't want to share it. I thought that love would make my life bright and sunny. She said she couldn't love me 'cause I didn't have no money, so "Where the day I have to cry a song, every day I have to cry a song, drive a water from my eyes, a song, every day I have to cry." Had me a girl, yes, I really loved every night when life was making love. But you can't fix love with money 'cause if you do, it's gonna hurt somebody. "Where the day I have to cry a song, every day I have to cry a song, drive a water from my eyes, a song, every day I have to cry." [Music] Oh I know that I'm just a poem and what is it wrong to love is I'm not a rich man for every time, it makes a love with money, every time you hurt somebody. "Where the day I have to cry a song, every day I have to cry a song, drive a water from my eyes, a song, every day I have to cry, every day I have to cry." Now today's motivational moment thanks to Livingstone Wealth Management, Raymond James in Madison. Don't let the ugly in others kill the beauty in you. Always good to have you listening. Thank you friends for that. Have a wonderful Wednesday bundle up and remember I always like to remind you be sure to count your blessings. [BLANK_AUDIO]
