Understand the 3 Human Dilemma’s: God, Money and Sex: GOD
Last episode we began a discussion of the 3 human dilemma’s: God, Money and Sex. As we discussed I cover these in depth and detail in my latest book by the same title: God,
Money and Sex. We really encourage you to grab a copy as it covers many issues that must be understood in today’s turbulent times.
In fact, not only do we suggest that these are the dilemmas that have caused us to be where we currently are. We also cover in specific detail how we can escape from the chaos into a new realm of order.
Obviously, we won’t be able to cover this topic in depth here like we do in the book but let’s discuss one important principle in relation to God...
(upbeat music) - Welcome to our next episode in this series, we're talking about how to understand and master the three human dilemmas. - Yes, God, money, and sex. - God, money, and sex. And in this particular episode, we wanna talk about God. In our last episode, we began a discussion of what we call the three human dilemmas, God, money, and sex. And we discussed that I cover these in great depth and detail in my latest book by the same title. God, money, and sex. How to understand and master the three human dilemmas. We really wanna encourage you to grab a copy as it covers many issues that must be understood in today's turbulent times. Now, not only do we suggest that these are the three dilemmas that have caused us to be where we currently are in our world, we also cover in specific detail in the book how we can escape from the chaos and get into and come into a new realm of order. Who brings order out of chaos, bearish away? - Light. - Light, God, good, all of those things are synonyms. Obviously, we won't be able to cover this topic in depth like we do in the book, but let's discuss one important principle today in relation to God. The fact is that all orders of nature, all of them, no exception, have a need for a what, bearish away? - For a hierarchy. - A hierarchy, why is that? - I think that's how we're programmed. - It is how we're programmed. We all have a need for a hierarchy. All of us, there's no exception, even animal packs have a leader and the one that's at the top of what we'll call this vertical relationship. Now, historically, we've had a hierarchy in humanity and what's been at the top of our hierarchy, historically, bearish away? - Historically, it was God. - It's God, the creator for all of us. And yet, with the rise of secularism, we've become disconnected from God of what at the top of what we call this vertical relationship, which again is a metaphor because God is not in the heavens. Christ said, "The kingdom of heaven is with end." But nonetheless, if you can follow the illustration, we've become disconnected from this vertical relationship this hierarchy with God at the top. And so what that leaves us with is what we'll call a horizontal relationship of the physical and the secular world. And that becomes problematic. The fact remains though, humans have a need for a hierarchy. Check your own experience and you'll realize when you're honest that you need a guiding principle. Right? - Sure. - Irrespective, irrespective of how that comes to you, you need a guiding principle so that you know how to operate. So with God being removed from the humanistic and the secular movements as the guiding creative principle at the top of the hierarchy, where do we search for this psychological need, Berzoba? - We search for whatever's around us it could be. Neighbors, friends, parents, movies, celebrities, so forth. - Athletes, you know, that's what guides us to what's right, moral, virtuous and true. And that hopefully you can see it can become problematic. All we have left without this vertical principle is the horizontal principle, which is a secular material world. And we put then into that secular horizontal principle a position of leadership and guidance. - Sure. - Some of the most common, as Berzoba's already mentioned, are for young kids today, our celebrities, athletes, how about clergy, religious leaders, school officials, what else? - Media. - Media. - Government. - Government, society at large. While some of these may be virtuous in principle, unfortunately many of them are not. - Sure. - And so when we lack this vertical principle, this vertical hierarchy, the only place we had to go is the world around us. And hopefully you can see how this can be extremely problematic. Maybe you can also see how this has contributed not only to many of the major dilemmas, but also the chaos and lack of principles and values we're experiencing in our world. - Sure. - There's so many examples of that. We've talked about this before, but truth is not highly valued in today's world. How do we know that, Berzoba? - Well, because the people that are telling the truth right now are either being prosecuted or persecuted. - That's right, prosecuted. - Or they're being shut down on social media or they're being, what is it called? Throwing out of your family, not being talked to. And so forth. - Yes. - You know why? - 'Cause you're telling the truth. - 'Cause you're telling the truth. But you know, this isn't a new idea. Plato said, no one is more hated than he who tells the truth. - Oh, it's so true, it's so true. - So we suggest to you that it's time to get back to our controlling and creating principle. It's time to get back to our true hierarchy. - It's time to get back to God. - It's time to get back to God. And so that's what we've got to focus on and that's what will begin to turn these dilemmas and this chaos into order. Next episode, we're gonna discuss money. So hopefully you'll tune in. Hopefully you'll stay with us. Thanks for a couple of moments of your day. God bless you and we'll talk with you soon. - Bye. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
