AP News. I'm Ed Donohue. Three months after it was announced, King Charles was being treated for cancer. Buckingham Palace says the King will resume his public duties next week. The plan is for a public visit to a cancer treatment center Tuesday. Charles took a break from public appearances to focus on his treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer. President Volodymyr Zelensky is getting his wish. The U.S. will provide Ukraine additional patriot missiles for its air defense systems as part of a massive $6 billion additional aid package. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says there are more ways to help. I would point out that it's not just patriot that, you know, they need, they need other types of systems and interceptors as well. And so I would caution us all in terms of making patriot the silver bullet. A court in Romania's capital has ruled that a trial can start in the case of influencer Andrew Tate, who is charged with human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. The Bucharest Tribunal ruled that the prosecutor's case file against Tate met the legal criteria, but did not set a date for the trial to begin. Tate's spokesperson said the ruling will be appealed. Tate was arrested in December 2022 near Bucharest, along with his brother Tristan Tate and two Romanian women. Romanian prosecutors formally indicted all four in June last year. They've all denied the allegations. I'm Charles Teletesma. Police say the owner of a suburban Detroit business that caught fire and exploded killing a man was arrested at a New York airport as he was preparing to depart for Hong Kong on a one way ticket.
