A.P. News. For this Saturday, April 27th, I'm Jackie Quinn. Hundreds of homes are destroyed outside Omaha, Nebraska, after nearly 80 tornadoes plowed through the nation's midsection. Under destruction, just chaos. Our Julie Walker reports on the damage in Nebraska. Matthew Taylor and Paul Wright capturing it on video while Pat and Kim Woods watch. Touchdown about 200 yards over there, and then we went to the fixed shelter. We came, but we could hear it going through when we came back up. Our fence was gone and we looked over the Northwest and the whole neighborhood's gone. Some injuries, but no immediate reports. Anyone died. More tornadoes are in the forecast. According to the National Weather Service, I'm Julie Walker. Overseas, Houthi rebels in Yemen are claiming they've shot down another US military drone, airing video footage of parts of an unmanned aircraft. Hamas says it's considering a ceasefire plan for Gaza. Here's our Rika and Garcia. Hamas's statement came hours after a high-level Egyptian official visited Israel. Their discussion focused on a limited exchange of hostages and the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes. Protests continue on college campuses across the US. Over the Israel Hamas War, police and riot gear cleared an encampment at Northeastern University in Boston. This father was outraged. Snipers on the roofs of colleges again, like a Kent State, back in '68. It's happening again. In St. Petersburg, Florida, an 11-year-old boy was fatally shot at his home. Police say his 14-year-old brother had been handling a gun. Harvey Weinstein's lawyer says the former movie moguls hospitalized for a battery of testing in Manhattan. He was returned to New York City from an upstate New York jail. After a court vacated Weinstein's sexual assault conviction. This is AP News. Another look at the pro-Palestinian demonstrations, sweeping college campuses. I'm Walter Ratliff with The Religion Minute. And the Father Rebel! Demonstrators at the University of Pennsylvania chant during a protest against Israel and the war in Gaza. Protests among colleges like New York University, Columbia University and others have drawn criticism that anti-Israel sentiment is spelling over into anti-Semitism. President Joe Biden denounced anti-Semitic protests while calling up the effects of the Israel-Gazza war. I condemn the anti-Semitic protest. That's why I've set up a program to do with that. I also condemn those and don't understand what's going on with the Palestinians. Beo Yoon is among the students protesting at NYU. Anti-Semitism is never okay. She says they condemn Israel's role in civilian deaths and the brutality of the war in Gaza. But they are not against all Jews. There are so many Jewish comrades that are here with us. I'm Walter Ratliff. And I'm Jackie Quinn, AP News. When everyone is on the same page, getting things done is easy. Make a bigger impact at work with Grammarly.
