Or that the person we are pitching to has already made up his mind, he is not interested. Or that an audience is distracted. Don't really care. We know we have no chance of winning. Doesn't matter. All the more reason to go play our heart out so we can walk away with a head held high. Ultimately, what they think of us doesn't count. What we feel is what matters. And it's most important to know in our hearts that we tried our best. We gave a match feeling of it. No one could have done it. It's enough to make our confidence so, make us feel great about ourselves. As for the result, that won't matter in a day or two. But we will always remember how awesome we were. There are many things in life that we control. And people to reactions are definitely not worth it. But how we play, whether we give a wild performance or not, that is always up to us.
