So the people are voting with their dollars, and they support these patriotic Americans and I salute them. It does appear that we're seeing an extraordinary revitalization of patriotism on college campuses across America. And ironically, we've got radical progressives to thank for it. Now, if you don't know what happened last week, pro-Palestinian protesters at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, took down an American flag on their campus and they hosted up a Palestinian flag in its place. And to add insult to injury, the flag had been flying at half mass in honor of four Charlotte police officers who were killed in the line of duty last week. So these activists who again are concerned more about what's happening 10,000 miles away than they are by what's happening in their own backyard, like a corrupt justice system that lets career criminals out on the streets so they can go and kill four North Carolina police officers. These protesters care literally nothing about that. They care nothing about their families. Nope, Palestinians. That's what's going to absorb us 24/7, the Palestinian cause. And so they took the American flag down, the flag that was flying at half mass, and they put up a Palestinian flag. Now, the UNC Chancellor, Lee Roberts, to his credit, responded with law enforcement officers to return the American flag to its place. The pro-Palestinian activists weren't going to have any of that, so they moved to take the American flag down again, and that's when this happened. ♪ As you can see a group of young men at UNC surrounded the flag, they stood up, defended the flag from being taken down and desecrated again. And as you can see, they did so well. Protesters started hurling bottles and rocks and sticks at them, but no matter what, they stood their ground. They would not let the American flag be torn down. And what happened at UNC inspired comparable acts of patriotism on other college campuses as well? Take a look at what happened at Ole Miss. ♪ ♪ And take a look at what happened on the campus of Rutgers University. ♪ And so as you heard at the beginning of this video, the outpouring of appreciation for what these students did has been absolutely astonishing to say the least. Over $500,000 has been raised on a GoFundMe page for them. The page was set up to benefit the fraternities that rallied to defend the flag and country music legend John Rich is in the process of having the students at UNC come on out for a free concert with backstage passes, all the works. The satirical Babylon B, chined in with the headline, "Immigration crisis ended as frat boys deployed to guard southern border." But with all that humor aside, there does appear to be something of a patriotic revival going on among young people. Miranda Divine published a great piece today in the New York Post entitled, "Frat Boys Summer is this year's backlash against an epidemic of arrogant, entitled women." As that for a title, "Frat Boys Summer is this year's backlash against an epidemic of arrogant, entitled women." And Miranda Divine goes on to write, quote, "Behold, the frat boys unapologetically saving old glory, singing the national anthem, chanting USA, USA, USA, and rudely ridiculing the campus freaks who parade around in Hamas colors and barricade themselves in university buildings." God forbid they look like Trump voters. This display of irrepressible masculinity erupting in Gen Z is an affront to the grand societal feminization project that left, which is only itself to blame. "Frat Boys Summer is this year's backlash against an epidemic of arrogant, entitled women who have been cuddled all their lives and think they're smarter and more important than they really are." It's a manifestation of the growing political divide between men and women that has been evident in opinion polls for some time. There's a 10-point gap on most issues between men and women, young unmarried women in particular skew very left while young men are becoming markedly more conservative. And then she cites some stats here. It's very fascinating. The latest ABC News poll shows that the under-30 vote is going for Trump by five points. It's near 30-point swing from 2020. And the reason why Trump is getting numbers like that is largely because of the sizable lead he holds among young men under-30, who are siding with Trump by double digits by 11 points. As for young women, they're siding with Biden by a meager four. So that anemic support together with the double-digit lead that Trump has with young men is translating into a massive political paradigm shift. Again, Biden won the youth vote, the under-30 vote, by nearly 30 points in 2020. Now they're siding with Trump by five. I mean, this is huge. And according to Miranda Devine, this is largely due to a blowback against what she's calling arrogant, entitled women. She singled out the Columbia student, Johanna King-Slutsky, who demanded last week that school officials supply the Columbia protesters who just took over a building, food and water, so as to avoid a humanitarian disaster. They took over the building, and this entitled woman demanded that school officials provide them with food and water. I mean, it was beyond cringe. And what Devine argues here is that these are people that literally no one admires. Unlike these young men defending the flag, these entitled feminists don't evoke the respect or admiration of anyone. And over the last decade, they've been demonizing young men like those frat boys as oppressive patriarchs and blaming them from every ill under the sun. But it looks like those frat boys are now having the last lap here. And that's because of the course of the same decade, young men between the ages of 18 and 29, who identify as Republican, has increased 11 points from 38% in 2013 to 49% in 2023. And the most massive jump was in the last four years. I wonder why? Whatever the cause, 18 to 29-year-old men are now 30% more conservative than their ultra-liberal female counterparts. So as it turns out, these frat boys are not unique in the patriotism that they so readily inspired. They're indicative of a much larger social trend where young men are rising up and defending, rather than degrading, a very grateful nation.
