AP News, I'm Ben Thomas. Testimony from Stormy Daniels has ended in the New York Hush Money trial of former President Donald Trump. It donny hues sums it up. The defense tried to poke holes in Daniels' credibility, saying she had changed her story over the years about her 2006 sexual encounter with Donald Trump. It got heated. Daniel stood her ground. After leaving court, Trump said everyone saw what happened. "I don't think we have to do any explaining, I'm not allowed to anyway because this judge is corrupt." Judge Juan Mershan denied requests to modify the gag order, so Trump could respond to Daniel's testimony and again denied a request from the defense to declare a mistrial over Daniel's testimony. "And I gotta get back into campaign trail, I'm not supposed to be here, we are so innocent." The gag order bars the former president from speaking publicly about jurors, witnesses, and others connected to the case. I'm Ed Donahue. Kaitlyn Clark makes her home debut tonight with the WNBA's Indiana Fever. Jennifer King has a preview. "It's a pre-season game, but there's still plenty of excitement for tonight's Indianapolis debut of WNBA rookie Kaitlyn Clark, the Iowa star who dazzled fans with effortless three-pointers on the way to the women's college basketball championship. That game had viewership numbers that rival the NFL and has people talking about women's basketball in a new light. In the pre-season opener Friday night at Dallas, Clark scored a team-high 21 points in a 79-76 loss. She will be welcomed by a near-sellout crowd that believes the number one draft pick can change the Indiana Fever's fortunes. Clark says she's expecting it to be loud. "It's my first time out here. Played in this arena before, but it'll obviously be a little bit different. You know, we're in a fever uniform." They'll play the Atlanta dream. The Fever will have 36 of their 40 games televised nationally. Clark's regular season debut May 14 against the Connecticut Suns will be streamed live on Disney+. I'm Jennifer King.
