Anytime the Biden administration says Israel's use of US-provided weapons in Gaza has likely violated international humanitarian law, but it says evidence is in complete, citing wartime conditions. Ukraine has rushed reinforcements to the northeastern Harkiv region to hold up a Russian attempt to breach local defenses, the US sending a new $400 million package of military aid. In New York, Donald Trump's Hush Money trial wrapped up for the weekend with the judge-warning prosecutors to tell their star witness, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, to stop taunting Trump Cohen could testify Monday. The Biden administration is planning new tariffs on electric vehicles and other green energy imports from China. According to a US official and another person familiar with the plan, the tariffs on electric vehicles in particular could quadruple from the existing 25 percent to 100 percent. The Biden administration has also said it will investigate Chinese-made smart cars that can gather sensitive information about Americans driving them. The additional tariffs could carry some political weight going into the November presidential election.
