V listopadu uběhne 35 let od sametové revoluce. Mimo jiné přinesla možnost svobodného cestování. Dnešním třicátníkům připadá normální vyjet prakticky kamkoliv. Ale vraťme se do dob před rokem 1989 a připomeňme si, kam jsme se tehdy mohli podívat.
Adventní trhy ve Vídni, léto u moře v Řecku či prodloužený víkend v Paříži. Dnes běžná záležitost. Stačí si vybrat destinaci, našetřit peníze, vzít si cestovní doklad (běžně postačí občanský průkaz, v některých případech je nutný cestovní pas) a vyrazit. Jenže v minulosti tomu tak rozhodně nebylo a výběr dovolené byl značně omezený. Tedy, pokud jste ji netrávili u rybníků či na horách v naší vlasti nebo v zemích východního bloku. Cesta „na Západ“ byla jen pro vyvolené.
