Trump came to court for his Hushmani trial flanked by House Speaker Mike Johnson, along with several other high-profile Republicans insisting he did nothing wrong. It was no crime. Everybody said it's no crime. But I've been here for almost four weeks. And that the case is political. It's a scam. It's election interference. Trump's former lawyer and fixer giving testimony linking him to all aspects of a Hushmani scheme that prosecutors say was aimed at stifling stories threatening his 2016 campaign. Speaking before entering court, Donald Trump says the Biden administration isn't going far enough on import tariffs. UN spokesman Renaldo Gomez says the UN is calling for an investigation after an employee from India was killed in another staffer wounded when they're clearly marked UN vehicle was on its way to a hospital in Rafa. The Secretary General obviously is deeply, deeply saddened to learn of the death of this United Nations Department of Safety and Security colleague and the injury of another staffer when their vehicle was struck. Stocks are urging higher on Wall Street, putting the market a bit closer to the record high it's set in late March. The S&P 500 edged up two tenths per cent in the first hour of trading Tuesday. The benchmark index was adding to its gains for May following a dismal April. The Dow rose 75 points. It's about two tenths per cent. The Nasdaq composite was up four tenths of a per cent. Several meme stocks were racing higher again, including game stock and AMC Entertainment and a reprise of the social media driven frenzy of three years ago. Trigiels edged lower in the bond market that followed a mixed report on inflation in wholesale prices last month. The market will be keenly focused on a report due out early Wednesday on inflation and consumer prices. Seth Sootel, New York, U.S. wholesale prices rose last month.
