Donald Trump's fixer turned foe Michael Cohen directly implicated the former president in a hush money scheme in Trump's criminal trial in New York today at the conclusion of the day's session the former president said this. "I have not come trust to prove you, fraud, or that any fraud has taken place. There's no fraud here. There's no crime here. This is four weeks of keeping me from not getting paid." Trump told jurors Trump approved hefty payouts to stifle stories about sex that the then-presidential candidate feared could be harmful to his 2016 campaign. The UN says nearly half a million Palestinians have been displaced by escalating Israeli military operations in both southern and northern Gaza. At the White House National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan says Israel needs to focus beyond its military operations to defeat Hamas and on what Gaza will look like after. And in western Canada, fire experts and officials are warning an intense wildfire could reach the town of Fort Nelson in British Columbia this week. You guys can be 500-edged down by less than one-tenth of a percent Monday. The benchmark index is just slightly below the record high it's set in March. The Dow slipped 81 points, it's about two-tenths of a percent. But as that composite rose, three-tenths of a percent. Stocks have been doing relatively well this month, that's partly because of revived hopes that inflation will ease enough to convince the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates this year. A key test for those hosts will arrive on Wednesday, that's when the government releases its latest report on inflation.
