AP News, I'm payup and warning Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen is on the witness stand today with the former president's ongoing hush money trial. Cohen is telling jurors that his celebrity client approved hefty payouts to stifled stories about sex that he feared could be harmful to his 2016 White House campaign. AP correspondent Michael Sisak reports from the courthouse. Cohen talked about how for a decade he lied and bullied and protected Donald Trump. He testified about how when he became aware that Stormy Daniels was shopping a story about an extramarital sexual encounter with Trump, the story being shopped just before the 2016 election, Cohen says he went to Trump and Trump said, "This is a disaster. You need to take care of this." Pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses coincided with graduation ceremonies over the weekend. AP correspondent Donna Warder reports. At the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, pro-Palestinian protesters tried to block the stadium entering Sunday evening as Pomona College held its commencement demonstrators scuffled with police. But demonstrations at schools throughout the country were muted in comparison to the recent encampments and rallies that resulted in some 2,900 arrests at Duke University Sunday of dozens of graduates left their seats to protest pro-Israel speaker and comedian Jerry Seinfeld during commencement. On Saturday, dozens of graduating students at Virginia Commonwealth University walked out during an address by Governor Glenn Yunken. I'm Donna Warder.
