The nation of Georgia is but the latest country to pass a law that would effectively ban the likes of George Soros from their borders. The ruling conservative Georgia Dream Party recently passed an anti-foreign agent bill through their parliament. The new law requires organizations receiving more than 20% of their funding from abroad to register his quote, agents of foreign influence or face crippling fines. The law is very similar to the one passed by the Russian government some years back that's been used to quash far left NGOs like Soros's open societies foundation with financial ties overseas. Now this is absolutely key to understanding what's going on here in both Russia and wider Eurasia nations like Georgia. What's key here is that they see liberalization as essentially a foreign threat, right? By contrast, for us in the West, liberalism versus conservatism, right? The culture wars as we know them are civil wars. That's what's going on throughout the West and the states and Canada in Europe. The culture wars are civil wars between traditionalists and radical leftists. But in Eurasia, in places like Russia and Georgia and Belarus, the culture wars are seen as foreign invasions. And so the leaders of these populations have been very successful in galvanizing their people to resist wokeness in the NGOs that function as Trojan horses to smuggle those destructive ideologies in, at least for the most part. Ironically in Georgia, there's been a pretty significant blowback against the anti foreign agent law. Protesters have been flooding the streets in the capital city of Tbilisi. This is because there's been significant efforts over the years by NGOs like Soros's Open Societies Foundation to foment color revolution sentiments among the population inside Georgia. And they're coming out in droves to protest this new law. But it appears they don't come anywhere near representing the vast majority of Georgians. Georgia is a very conservative Orthodox nation every year when organizers try to put on an LGBT rally or March, tens of thousands of conservative Orthodox take to the streets to overwhelm and frustrate such woke efforts. Again, wokeness has not yet made its way inside Georgia. And that's precisely what this foreign agency law is trying to prevent. And obviously, Georgia and Russia are not alone in this. Back in December of 2018, Soros's Open Societies Foundation announced that it become impossible to work in what they called the repressive atmosphere of the nation of Hungary and that they were indeed picking up and moving their operations in this case to Berlin. Now, this was in response to the massive landslide when a victor or a bond in their parliamentary elections. It was his third win in a row as prime minister and he campaigned on what's commonly referred to as the stop Soros law, which penalizes all NGOs that seek to undermine Hungary's border security by assisting migrants and refugees in crossing the border and getting in the Hungary. And the penalty, which involved massive fines in taxes, just made it impossible for Soros's Open Societies Foundation to continue their operation in Hungary. So Victor Warbon also oversaw the expulsion of Soros's central European university from Budapest. The Hungary government refused to grant accreditation to the university. And they just forced them to close their doors and leave Hungary altogether. And hearing the states, interestingly enough, you got the likes of Elon Musk comparing Soros to the X-Men villain Magneto, who's on a war path against humanity. And when Twitter, a Twitter user defended Soros as having good intentions, which are criticized by those who disagree with his politics, Musk responded, "You assume they're good intentions. They're not." He wants to erode the very fabric of civilization. Soros hates humanity. And so with all of this opposition, it's no wonder that this Open Societies Foundation is actually experiencing mass layoffs following the recent leadership transition to his son, Alexander Soros. The Open Societies Foundation recently announced plans to cut almost half of their global workforce. In an emailed statement, the organization did indeed confirm that they made the difficult decision to reduce their workforce by at least 40%. And shortly thereafter, it was announced that his Open Societies Foundation, they were leaving Europe altogether. They publicly announced that they were significantly reducing all operations from within the European Union. So what do you know? The nations that are banning Soros are growing.
