This is AP News, I'm Rita Falle. Words just in that Ukraine's President Zelensky is postponing all his foreign visits for the next few days as his forces face a new Russian offensive. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, where he told the Ukrainians, "Listen, I know this is a really, really difficult time. You're soldiers, you're citizens, particularly in the Northeast and Kyiv, are suffering tremendously. But they need to know, you need to know. The United States is with you, so much of the world is with you." Now to President Biden's new plan to send a billion dollars plus in weapons to Israel. Congressional aides tell AP the Biden administration sending a new package of arms and ammunition to Israel, more than a billion dollars worth, including tank ammunition, tactical vehicles, and mortar rounds. It would be the first announced arms shipment to Israel since the administration put another on hold earlier this month, consisting of 3,500 bombs. That was paused to keep Israel from using them in its growing offensive in the crowded southern Gaza city of Rafa. Ben Thomas, Washington. Three states hosted primary elections Tuesday, Maryland, Nebraska and West Virginia.
