Cohen will return to the witness stand Thursday for more cross-examination before prosecutors rest their case. Trump denies charges he falsified business records to cover Hush Money payments. An analyst surveyed by the data from facts that believe that inflation year over year dipped from 3.5 percent in March to 3.4 percent in April. Measured from March to April, they say consumer prices likely rose 0.4 percent the same as the previous month. The analysts say that core inflation, which excludes food and energy costs, likely slowed 3.6 percent, which would be the lowest level in three years. Fed policy makers have raised their key interest rate to a 23-year high of 5.3 percent in an effort to put a stop to rising prices. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said Tuesday that the Fed will keep its rate at that level for as long as needed to fully stamp out inflation. Donna Warder, Washington. And I'm Rita Folley, AP News.
