Trump declaring, "I think a very good day in court." Meantime, Julie Walker reports Trump arrived with the Congressional Entourage. "Echoing Donald Trump's words by calling the hush-money case against him a sham. House Speaker Mike Johnson stood outside court after leaving the former president side to criticize the trial." "This is the fifth week that President Trump has been in court for this sham of a trial. They are doing this intentionally to keep him here and keep him off of the campaign trail." With no gag order, Johnson let loose on star witness Michael Cohen. "He is someone who has a history of perjury and is well known for it. No one should believe a word," he says. An eight people were killed in central Florida when a bus carrying farm workers overturned. This is AP News. Wholesale prices rose sharply in April. The Labor Department's producer price index climbing 0.5 percent from March. Year over year, producer prices were up 2.2 percent. How's stocks fair today? "I'm Seth Zootel and this is DP Market Support. Stocks ended higher on Wall Street, sending the Nasdaq composite to another record. The S&P 500 rose half a percent Tuesday. The benchmark index is sitting just shy of its own all-time high. The Dow rose 126 points. That's about three-tenths percent. The Nasdaq composite climbed eight-tenths of a percent. Several meme stocks raced higher, including GameStop and AMC Entertainment, in an echo of the social media-driven frenzy of three years ago. Treasure eels edged lower in the bond market, following a mixed report on wholesale inflation. The more closely watched report on inflation will arrive early Wednesday.
