You've heard of the Amber Alert? The alarm named after a real nine-year-old? It goes off for anyone under the age of 18, regardless of race. Now the brainless Beacon Hill dwellers want to implement a new version in Massachusetts. Missing white women? Who cares? This alert is made specifically for missing women of color. I kid you not. It's called the Ebony Alert. House Bill 3913 would establish an executive office for missing and murdered black females that would, for one thing, keep track of the numbers. It would also create what sponsors are calling the Ebony Alert, modeled after the Amber Alert. A white woman is missing and she's got the blind to ableize that kind of thing. The media attention is out of this world. But if a black woman goes missing, it's deaf ears. Never mind the overt discrimination necessary to deploy one of these Ebony Alerts.
