Článek Simony Procházkové. Lipomy neboli nezhoubné tukové nádory jsou poměrně běžným a rozšířeným problémem. Vznikají kdekoli na těle a zpravidla nezpůsobují žádné obtíže. Typicky se objevují nejčastěji u osob mezi 40. a 60. rokem života a mnohdy se i po odstranění vracejí.
Lipom je nezhoubný a zpravidla neškodný tukový nádor neboli tuková bulka. Jedná se o měkký, při dotyku se pohybující a většinou nebolestivý výrůstek, který obvykle vzniká v podkoží, a to bez zjevné příčiny.
