Šance, že se vám tohle „povede“, je zhruba 1 : 200 milionům. A i když se říká, že děti jsou radost, spatřit na ultrazvuku místo jednoho vznikajícího človíčka hned tři je šok. Obzvlášť když už třeba jedno dítko doma máte. Přesně to se stalo Růže a Markovi, kterým se narodila jednovaječná trojčata. A i když náročnou situaci zvládají velmi dobře, přece jen potřebují vaši pomoc…
I dvojčata, natož pak vícerčata se rodí především v případech, kdy maminka podstoupila umělé oplodnění. Kvůli zvýšení šancí na úspěch bývalo totiž běžnou praxí, že lékaři zaváděli do dělohy ženy více embryí současně. I od toho se ale dnes ustupuje a většinou se zavádí už jen jedno embryo, protože vícečetné těhotenství je spojeno s řadou rizik pro matku i děti.
