We'll begin with that breaking news from the Hague, the Netherlands, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, says he is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Hamas leaders, too. He says he believes they are responsible for war crimes. The world is also reacting to news this morning that Iran's president has been killed in a helicopter crash. In foggy, north-west Iran, the AP's Charles de Ledesma. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, the country's foreign minister and others, have been found dead at the site of a helicopter crash after an hours-long search. State media has reported. State TVs give no immediate calls for the crash to Iran's eastern Azerbaijan province. Turkish authorities have released what they described as drone footage, showing what appeared to be a fire in the wilderness, that they suspected to be wreckage of the helicopter. I'm Charles de Ledesma. The AP's John Gambrell reporting from the region has some background on President Raisi. He has backed Iran's moves to enrich uranium, up to nearly weapons-grade levels. He also has been linked to the security force crackdowns that we've seen after the 2020 due death of Masa Amini that saw hundreds of thousands of protests in the street, and then hundreds killed, and then tens of thousands arrested in the time afterwards. Now, Raisi is also known for the execution of thousands of prisoners back in 1988 at the end of the Iran-Iraq War. Iran's first vice president, Mohammed Makhbar, has been appointed president now following the death of President Raisi. The container ship that caused that deadly collapse of a bridge in Baltimore has been refloted and has been moving back to port. Red Lobsters filed for bankruptcy protection. This is AP News. He says he's sorry. Sean Diddy Combs says what he did was inexcusable, the AP's Haya Pendjwani. Diddy admits to beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie, says he's sorry, and calls his actions inexcusable. "I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. Disgusted." That's Sean Diddy Combs, making a video statement on his Instagram, admitting that he beat his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016. A video of the hotel incident released by CNN on Friday shows Combs wearing only a white towel, punching and kicking Cassie, an R&B singer who was his protege, and longtime girlfriend at the time. The footage also shows Combs shoving and dragging Cassie and throwing a vase in her direction. Cassie sued Combs in November over what she said was years of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.
