If you're looking for a unique, different birthday present (speaking in foreign language) or boyfriend, girlfriend, I think Kim's surprised for Eddie as to find this amount of (speaking in foreign language) is one of the coolest gifts I've ever heard of. - Aw. - We're about to find out right now. (speaking in foreign language) that made Eddie cry. - What? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - He's waiting until he's married. (speaking in foreign language) I think Kim's gonna cry first though. He's gonna be like, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - All right, so Kim and Eddie are dating for those of you who don't know. Kim, what was your first surprise for Eddie that made him cry? And you said it's an experience (speaking in foreign language) - Yes. (speaking in foreign language) And that's what I love about these gifts. - Yes, so basically I made a movie experience at home. I made the entire house dark and I got some popcorn and I reached out to all of Eddie's best friends and family and I had them record a video for him. (speaking in foreign language) Wishing him a happy birthday and I put all the videos together. Starting with the video, I made it like, you know the AMC, like the intro. So he walks in blindfolded and he just hears that, like the intro. And then he's like, wait, we're watching a movie and I had him his popcorn. I put his like, (speaking in foreign language) in front of the TV. I sat him down and it starts and it goes (speaking in foreign language) You know, the big intro. - Right. - It says happy birthday to you and right away starts a slideshow of pictures of him when he was a baby with his family. (speaking in foreign language) Was this video that Shaboya actually shared with me and it was of the last birthday that he shared with his grandpa. - Oh. - So it was super cute. So he was like crying, laughing. It was like everything. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. - Eddie, what did you feel when you saw that video of you? - I felt so loved hanging out with (speaking in foreign language) - I felt so loved a lot of memories came back and the fact that Kim took her time to do that also made me cry, you know? - During finals week. - Yeah, it's cool for her. - Yeah, so such a blessing to have an amazing girlfriend and amazing family. I'm up with her thing. - That was, yeah, yeah, it was amazing. - Oh, yeah, (speaking in foreign language) that I love that it didn't cost anything. I think sometimes we could stress out about like, (speaking in foreign language) But sometimes things like this are so thoughtful and they take a lot of time to create like this movie experience of Eddie's life, photos, videos and all that. It's almost like you're getting your flowers now because a lot of times people don't feel loved or celebrated. - Yes. - Until it's their funeral. - Yeah. - And then it's too late. - They're not there to see it. - You know what I'm saying? I mean, they might be in the sky and (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - Yes, yeah. - All right, we'll dive into the other surprises on our "After Party" episode on today's "Shaboy Show" podcast. Check out our podcast. We talk about things on the "After Party" episodes that we can't talk about here in La Radeon, we'll dive more into that. So happy birthday to all the May, baby. So let me let this next segment that we're gonna talk about could be triggering for some of you that have suffered domestic violence. I just wanna let you know that before we talk about it. (speaking in foreign language) businessman, Derry, who this weekend. I'm sure you've seen the videos (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) It's hotel surveillance video showing Derry assaulting Golpiano, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) It's frightening, guys. The video shows her trying to run away and make it into the elevator, waiting for the elevator door to open. Imagine being her and Diddy is running after her just in a towel, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) kicks her in the head and then drags her back in towards his room. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) I can't even imagine what he has done to people, not just Cassie, behind closed doors. (speaking in foreign language) He did what he had to do to make that video disappear in 2016. (speaking in foreign language) Could it be anything to do with the home raids that recently went in, where they went into this home in LA in Miami, did they find this video? We don't know. Pero, after that video came out and after he's been denying that he's done anything wrong this whole time, (speaking in foreign language) and that the truth will come out, (speaking in foreign language) It's so difficult to reflect the darkest times in your life. Sometimes you gotta do that. I was (beep)ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility. (speaking in foreign language) Of course you take full responsibility, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) For my answers in that video, we discussed it. I was disgusted then when I did it, I'm disgusted now. When I saw that professional help, I had to go into therapy, I'm going to rehab, I'm truly sorry. (speaking in foreign language) What do you think about this apology that did he? Dude, I think it's so narcissist of him. That was a perfect opportunity for him to not only address Cassie, apologize, even though they've already gone through their courts, gone through all that. I think addressing the issue, apologizing to her again, apologizing to domestic violence victims, you know what I mean? I think also raising awareness, like if you've gone through so much therapy, you could have been like, "Dude, here's the number, here's that." Like that was my past, this is not me now. I didn't like it. Ring of a great point, definitely narcissist. Here is an apology video where he never apologized to Cassie in the video, who's the actual victim. In no matter those, if you hear it, it's more about him. - Yeah, it's all about him. - I was in a dark town, like trying to get sympathy from us. - Right. (speaking in foreign language) - Like he's the victim. - Nah, that's not it. And we do want to use this opportunity because I know that there are some of you living through these situations right now, and the National Domestic Violence Hotline Number is as following, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) You don't have to live through this. The number is 1-800-799-7233. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) on our Instagram stories at Shaboi Show. Anima Familia, you are not alone. Please pray for my dad, Francisco, thank you. Once we got this message, in case you missed it, we stopped the music, we came on on the radio, and we asked you to join us in prayer for Joanna's dad, and anybody else going through a difficult time, and we just prayed for healing over him, for a miracle to happen. (speaking in foreign language) And we walked into the show today with a voice message from Joanna with an update about her dad, who is in a life or death situation in El Ospital on Friday, and this is the message that Joanna sent us. - Hi everyone, my name's Joanna. I'd call asking for prayers for my father, Francisco Reyes. His life depended on an operation that was nearly impossible to do on him, and so two days ago they called that he was gonna be extending his stay. Today they called that he is fine, he's healed well. I really wanna thank all of you again, because all these prayers made it possible for my father to come home. We all missed him, and thank you everybody. - I also wanted to say never lose faith, because miracles do happen. You just gotta hold on to that faith as tight as you can. Thank you very much, you guys have a blessed day. God bless you all. - We love you, Jo! (cheering) (speaking in foreign language) Going home and being together, man. That is so beautiful, and thank you, Joanna, for reaching out. (speaking in foreign language) that joined us in prayer. Prayer is powerful. (speaking in foreign language) As long as you have faith, and you could still breathe, there is hope for any miracle to happen. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - One of 40 million dollar lawsuit against Benito. That's his ex, but the lie detector test determined that that was alive. Little fake news here, she went on her IG story and she posted that she don't really like to put her personal life out there. Yeah, right, but she thinks that the information that the press is putting out is irresponsible, negligent, and not professional. (speaking in foreign language) She also claims that the cheese man is false and the settlement has not been reached 'cause the case still continues, so we'll see what the settlement is. Gosh, she called us out for reporting it, but we weren't the only ones. We got it from legitimate sources, like people in Español, people.com, all these legitimate-- - The New York diary, I think, reported on it too, hella credible sources. - And I think this is what happened, okay? There was a victory in her case against Bad Bunny, since she reported this herself on her social media, is that Bad Bunny's lawyers wanted to take the case to federal court outside of Puerto Rico. - Yes, okay. (speaking in foreign language) Bad Bunny's ex said, "No, we don't wanna go outside of Puerto Rico, we want this handled here because this is where it all went down." - Right. - And that's the victory that she had on that decision. (speaking in foreign language) So I think that's probably where the news got started, of like, she won the case. - Right, right, right. - But it's really just a decision and the case continues. - Yeah, I think it's gonna be a while before we see what the result is. - Yeah, for sure, but it's not gonna be 40 million, guys. - Come on, you know, no sattos, we should try out to be that voice then, if they're paying 40 million for this. - Bad Bunny, baby. - Sign me up. Primavana saw him and texted him on the spot. Basically said, "I know you saw me." (laughing) Her ex responded back to her text saying, "Who's this?" Because I know a lot of other people might be going through this where they still have hopes with their ex, even though their ex is making it very clear that they don't want anything to do with them. So thank you for opening up about this. Hopefully you got some closure as to why he stopped talking to you. - Yes. - And the reason is because (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Are you now ready to move forward and delete Barbas from your phone and stop texting him? - I am, and I think I needed to go through all of this of reaching out to him, talking to him, having this conversation, kind of like a reminder that we both were on different pages. And I think even though it was upsetting and it kind of did hurt me to go back to that time or where I was, because yeah, I am a single woman out here looking for love. And it was really hard for me because I kind of wasn't really out in that dating world for a long time, just because I was just so focused on my career and focused on other things, that I kind of put my guard down and I was opening myself up to being here. - That's why he wanted. He definitely wanted you to put your chonies down and open up. - Yeah, he was more than that. And I feel like I would have had more respect for him if he would have told me that from the jump. Like, hey, I just want to hook up whatever, nothing serious. - I'm done. - Right, then I would have known how to move. - Don't play this whole game that you are also looking for love and the one, and then later on, we find out you really just wanted to smash. - Exactly, because in those messages, like, oh, I wanted this, I wanted that. Like, boy, that's not what you were reflecting when we were at first going out. - I'm so proud of you, Primo, I'm glad you got closure. Now you can move forward. And I think it's important for a lot of you listening right now that are still dwelling on an X that mistreated you, that didn't respect you, that doesn't deserve you. That's like a dog when it vomits, and then you see a dog go back and eat it. That's what that's giving. Also, let me just share this. If you keep looking at that X or your past, you're gonna keep going that direction and you're gonna miss out on what's right in front of you. - So, well, on a hemlou, when you are driving and you look off to the right, guess what's gonna happen? Your car's gonna go off to the right. - Yeah. - So, put your eyes and your sight on what you really want in life. And that's what's gonna come towards your way, right? Any more familiar? (upbeat music) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) No, your rights. (speaking in foreign language) Even if I'm like, we're about to dive into this topic that was very heavy. (speaking in foreign language) A key in those two show about you parents taking matters into your own hands and dealing with other parents. (speaking in foreign language) Before we dive into that, I wanna let you know, (speaking in foreign language) Reach out to my friends at La Liga, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) That's 1-800-333-3676. (speaking in foreign language) At the Finsora. (speaking in foreign language) Thank you for being with us. - Hey, what's up, your boy? Thank you for having me. Happy to dive into this very interesting topic here. - Yeah, man. We had this topic last week and a lot of listeners tapped in, phone calls, comments. And it all started off in this viral video where this dad confessed that his daughter was getting bullied by another girl in elementary school. He talked to the teacher, the school, even the bully's parents, and nothing changed. So he took it to street justice. He got his brothers, went over to the school and beat up his daughter's bully's dad. (speaking in foreign language) What kind of consequences can a parent listening to us right now have if they take matters into their own hands? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) I would do the same thing if my child was getting bullied or I've actually done that already. (speaking in foreign language) For anybody taking matters into their own hands, would it be considered in a way like they are defending their child? - I mean, there could be some really serious consequences for that kind of conduct in this case. It really depends on how badly injured the other parent is and whether any type of weapon or something that could be characterized as a weapon, what was even used. If we're talking about self-defense, usually that particular legal defense only applies when it's happening in the moment, right? Say for example, a parent is actively watching their child being bullied or even beat up upon by somebody else. That parent can 100% step in and intervene in that moment and defend their child. Self-defense is not just defending yourself, but defending your loved ones as well. That also applies to them. But if this is something planned where you're coming in multiple people, it's not actively happening in the moment, then you can get in some trouble here, especially if from what it sounds like, this seems to be something pre-meditated. It's not just one person against one person, it's a group of people stomping on another group of people. Now you're talking about a concerted effort, maybe a conspiracy. So yeah, this person can be looking at some serious felony charges. So how much time could a parent potentially do in jail? Or what kind of fees are we talking about if convicted of a felony or any type of assault for trying to get revenge or revenge for Castanas in the Leboulinga Suzyjos? Most felony assault charges carry approximately the high term would be around three years in state prison. So if it's not a joke, it could be something very serious. And again, it depends on how seriously injured the other person was. If the other person got seriously injured, then your exposure, your sentencing can increase because they add additional punishment depending on how badly hurt the other person much. - And that's the interesting part there, right? That I get it as a parent of a Valeruis Bustamante. I felt that frustration when my daughter was getting bullied last year and this year. (speaking in foreign language) How should I say, at times in Baudente, like you can't do anything about it, right? 'Cause you're not at the school when it's happening. But the flip side of taking matters into your own hands and they got rando Revancha is that now you're gonna impact your child to a whole nother level if you do get put into jail and you're away from your child. No? If teachers aren't doing something about it or the school isn't doing anything about it, you can go to a superintendent. You can go to a local politician, the news, us here on the Shaboi Show to get the word out and take some action. So thank you for breaking it down.
