Hello. Hello. Hello. How you going? How you doing? You know that song that is the intro, the theme, sound, the college, football function, you know the voice right? It is CM, because of my AKA Mr. Studio Grandma, AKA Mr. Perfect, AKA CM Funk, the host that just knows the most about that college football action, that NCAA. We are here. It is May the 13th recording one day after Mother's Day, hopefully if your mother is around, the least you did was at least call her, text her, you know, center flowers, you know, present in the mail, you know, something along those lines, you never have to go crazy for your mom, you know, buy an extravagant gift or anything like that. Hell, I got my mom a card and I made her her favorite dessert for the little Mother's Day Get Together we had at her house on Sunday, so yesterday. So I hope you did that and if your mother is not around, I am sorry, I know that holidays can be very hard for people to deal with, especially if it is a certain day for a certain, you know, family member, you know, Mother's Day, Father's Day, so on and so forth. Just know that it gets better and CM is thinking about you, so you know, if your mom is not in your picture, hopefully you at least thought about her, you know, and you know, you're good memories, you know, unlocked in your head of your mom being there for you and doing nice stuff for you and another, if you know you and your mom are kind of a strange, she wasn't a good mom, you know, so on and so forth, yet again another instance that, you know, Mother's Day is kind of a hard day to deal with, but like I said, happy-bladed mothers to any mothers that are out there listening to this Joe Blow from Texas, talking to that college football, like I said, Mother's Day is over, we are in, I consider this time of the year off-season, we are in the off-season part of our, you know, podcast. The drafters came and went, I have done all my, I did all my prospect, you know, breakdowns and I just did the CM's draft dissection was the last episode I put out about a week ago and I took a week off just because I felt I absolutely needed to take a week off after grinding and grinding and recording so many shows and doing so much homework and so much stuff with, you know, the draft I needed to recharge, you know, I needed to unplug, I needed to just completely take a little bit of a break and get ready for this upcoming season, you know, the 2023/2024 season is done, the 2024/2025 season has yet to begin. I know people out there are starting to itch, I know I am, and for me being a big college football fan, January to August is a long, long time, but we're to May, you know, you think you got May, June, July at the end of August will be, you know, week one or week zero sometimes what college football likes to do and I like what they're doing this year too with, we're going back to two vise in your season so they're going to start just a little bit earlier and it'll end about the normal time but we're going to have two vise. If you remember playing the NCAA football game or if you can remember, you know, the early 2000s, maybe even early 2010s, you know, there was two bi-weeks and, you know, it does suck, you know, your team gets a bi-week, you know, a certain week but it's absolutely necessary, you need to recharge your, you know, recharge your batteries and it's also a bonus if you have somebody really, really good that next week, it gives you two weeks to prepare for a Oregon or a Michigan, you know, so on and so forth and that's going to start this year so, you know, we want your bi-week, if your bi-weeks between one and four, you don't have to go week six through 13 or 14 and get beat up and, you know, so on and so forth, you're going to get another bi at some point in time so don't get excited once that bi-week comes for your team and because, you know, there's not going to be any more for the rest of the year, I get to watch my team every single week up until, you know, week 13, 14, whatever, no, you still got one more but like I said, the season's going to start just a little bit earlier, big, big season for college football, every year I'm always excited for college football but this year is just a little bit different, I do believe the stakes have gotten higher, going into this year, we are, this will be the first year of the 12 team playoff, going to be very interesting to see how that's going to work, will there be four or five SEC schools in there, you know, maybe three or four, big ten schools in there and, you know, the ACC, big 12, AAC, Sun Belts, maybe even a conference, USA team, American Athletic Conference team, you never know, I'm not real sure how they're going to do that, 11, you know, seeds and then give the 12th seed to the biggest non-power five, kind of like what they did for the New Year six games for the bowl season, so definitely going to be very interesting, you have some super conferences now, this is not a power five college football country anymore, you know, from ACC, big 12, big 10, SEC, PAC 12, that's a conference is no longer around, I mean I guess it kind of is, there is still two schools that are still calling that home, you know, and I think it's just Oregon State and Washington State, that could be wrong, but everybody else has gone their separate ways, so from the big 12 to the ACC into the big 10, so definitely going to be a very interesting year watching Oregon play, you know, Penn State potentially in October, or let's see here, Texas or Oklahoma, playing Georgia, you know, at the end of September, you know, when you had those super match-ups, it was always the first couple of weeks of the season, it was your non-conference schedule and sometimes some teams had cupcakes, you know, their first two or three, you know, non-conference games and sometimes you had a monster match-up, you know, that year, I specifically remember this past year, the Oregon Ducks came to love at Texas, I don't think ever the Oregon Ducks have ever come and played in the Jones AT&T Stadium, so that was a huge weekend for us, it was a huge weekend for, you know, our town, you know, getting a whole bunch of new blood into our town, showing this team what we have, our core stadium is, and so on and so forth, and now it's going to seem like there's going to be big weeks almost every week, and it's going to be awesome, like I said, power for conferences, new teams go into new conferences, but what I wanted to do is start with today, let's go alphabetical order, and let's do the power for conferences, and start breaking down some schedules, let's see some of these teams to see if how many of their representatives of their conference can potentially make the college football playoff, the inaugural, of course, 12 team playoff, so let's start with the ACC, you know, the Atlantic Coastal Conference, for those who do not know, it's everybody around over there, it's, you know, your Florida is up to your North Carolinas, even up a little higher, you know, around Syracuse is kind of up there, who else, Boston College around there, but it's, you're pretty close to some water, you know, you're around the Atlantic Ocean, so to speak, but there used to be 15 members at the end of last year, but this, you know, 24 to 2025 year, they got three new members, one from the American Athletic, the SMU Mustangs, and two from the old Pac-12, you have the California Bears and the Stanford Cardinal, two California schools, you know, being represented in the Atlantic Coastal Conference, and it's kind of weird, it's going to be very interesting what they're doing, because I did look into this, I did a little bit of research on this, if you have to go to California, you won't have to play them the next year, or they'll come to you, like they're, or you'll play one California school that year, you're not going to make two cross-country trips, and one, you know, season, so I think that was pretty cool because I, that is, that would just kind of suck, you know, let's see, you are a Syracuse-Orangeman kind of around the New York area, and you have to go all the way to Stanford, or Berkeley, you know, and play the California Bears, and that's a long trip, and you get a little jet lag, you might even have to leave a day early, you know, and you know, sometimes they are Friday night games, so it really screws up your schedule, especially your class schedule, so, but it's a good thing for football, it's a enlightening thing that I love that, how this college football scenario is going on right now, super conferences, and did the ACC really strengthen their conference, I don't think so, I mean SMU is a decent team, you know, this isn't the SMU from the 80s, you know, this is the SMU after a black flag, you know, after a, you know, killing their program, what they did, and I've had a really hard time bouncing back from that, I've had some decent years, you know, seven, eight, maybe nine wins, seasons, the past couple years, absolutely, but stepping up and weight class SMU for sure. You heard that right, the Weber Seerwood pellet grill can smoke low and slow at 180 degrees, all the way to a high heat sear at 600. With the Weber Seerwood, you can cook on the direct flame over the full great sear zone. You'll hear the gasp of amazement from friends and family when you serve the food. Cooking with the Weber Seerwood pellet grill just sounds salicious and tastes even better. And then Kyle and Stanford, I hate to say it, but one of the bottom dwelling teams in the Pac-12, the past couple of years. Yeah, you can probably remember, you know, 10 years ago, the Stanford Cardinal being good with maybe Christian McCaffrey. I can't remember their old coach, but you know, constantly went in seven or eight games every year. But those days have passed. And so the ACC I've always felt was very top heavy. A lot of people would say the ACC is the big 12 of the East. I mean, especially the old big 12 was what I'm, what is what I'm saying, instead with Texas and Oklahoma. It was always them too. And it seems like with the ACC, it's been, you know, Clemson. It was Clemson for the longest time, them going to ACC championship games year after year. Devil Sweeney just being the class of that conference, them just waxing everybody. But you still have some decent schools, you know, I'm not gonna lie. It started with of course Florida State. They won the ACC conference last year for the first time. And it did long while, you know, they took that, you know, crown from the Clemson Tigers. You had the Louisville Cardinal in that conference as well. You have the NC State Wolf Pack, Virginia Tech Hokies, Georgia Tech, I do believe Yellow Jackets, of course Clemson Tigers, the Duke of Blue Devils, North Carolina, the Tardills, Boston College, the Eagles, Miami, Florida, the U, of course, the Hurricanes, Syracuse, Orangeman, Virginia, Cavaliers, the Pittsburgh Panthers, Andy Wakeforce, Demon, Deacons. And of course, you just added SMU, Cal, and Stanford. You would, you would look at that and say, is this more of a basketball conference? I absolutely, you got Duke and North Carolina in there. I mean, absolutely. In Virginia, just, you know, won a national championship hell over my Texas Tech Red Raiders, you know, about four or five years ago. So definitely basketball conference. There's not a whole lot of football teams that scare you besides Florida State and Clemson. You know, you get lucky and play a Georgia Tech in an on-conference schedule or a pit. You know, even the Hurricanes of late haven't been the Hurricanes of old. So it should be interesting. I'd probably say at the end of the year, the best two teams are probably going to be Florida State and Clemson. Like it was last year in Hawaii has been for the past 10, 15 years. Maybe North Carolina snakes in there, but you know, no Drake May, you know, no Tez Walker, maybe the Hurricanes, you never know. But there's always a team that kind of overperforms, kind of like what Duke did last year, just kind of starting that snowball effect to the Clemson Tigers, you know, then beating Clemson early in the year. And then they're getting more wins than they probably should have and Clemson not getting as many as, you know, you were probably expecting. So definitely interesting. And especially with what's going on right now, Florida State and Clemson are currently trying to sue, trying to fight the ACC conference committee and potentially make more money or a potentially leave that conference. You take Florida State and Clemson out of that conference, I think a lot of teams would absolutely have a shot to, you know, win that. I mean, there could be 10 teams that could win that conference. If you take out the two big boys, absolutely, they're fighting over distribution, you know, where are these games being, you know, telecasted at what time, how much money they're having a lot of problems with they think that Florida State should make more money than Virginia, you know, being on national, you know, TV more, you know, bigger games, yada, yada, yada. So eventually there might be a departure. The ACC conference could dissipate. I mean, it really could. It could get rated by the big 10 SEC, big 12, and then there'd be a power three conference. You never really know what the college football landscape is. What's going to happen the next year? You know, everybody's been excited, of course, about the 12 team playoff starting this year. But you can go back five, 10 years ago, and that's what they were talking about that. They really wanted to expand the the tournament and they wanted to make it bigger, wanted to make it better, and it finally happens. But also the pack 12 was still around back then too. So it's ever changing. Is it ever going to be perfect? Absolutely not. I mean, but let's start with, of course, with the ACC, I gave you all the teams that are in that conference. And I'm going to give you the Florida state schedule. And I'm going to do the Clemson schedule. And of course, Florida state and Clemson play each other. And it's going to be a lot like last year. I'm going to break down schedules. And I'm going to predict how many wins these teams are going to have. And they're all going to intertwine. You know, I, you know, if I do pick Florida state to beat Clemson later when I do Clemson, of course, they have to lose that game because those two teams collide. So I can't wait to do it. You know, I am going to definitely do the Michigan Wolverines later in the year. Washington, of course, the two teams that just played in the national championship not too long ago. Of course, the Alabama Crimson Tide, George Bulldogs, Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma Sooners, Ohio State, Penn State, definitely the Oregon Ducks, Arizona, Utah, Arizona State, these new teams that just joined the Big 12, along with Oklahoma State, K State and Texas Tech, definitely teams that could buy for the Big 12, you know, conference championship in another new conference this year. Definitely going to do USC in Wisconsin and Iowa as well. Another couple of teams in the Big 10, kind of in the middle now, you know, especially with the likes of Penn State, you know, I hate to say at our pool, you know, but in the past 10 years, you were the third best team in the Big 10, you know, sometimes the second best team in the Big 10, but with the addition of, you know, Washington, Oregon, it's going to be hard for Penn State to stand out. It's going to be hard for Penn State to make that, you know, conference championship game, and that's kind of what you want. You know, the SEC is going to be very top, not top heavy, just thorough. You know, there's probably, probably six, maybe even seven SEC schools at the end of the year could be buying for playoffs, like you never really know, but I will do for sure Missouri, the Tigers or the ACC, definitely have the Dart course, the team that had a very good year last year, and a team that could really ruin some seasons on the lines of, of course, the Bammas and Georges and all those other great schools in the SEC. Definitely will do Ole Miss, LSU and Tennessee as well. Another couple of schools that may kind of hurt, you know, Ole Miss of old LSU of old Tennessee of old have kind of always had, had times to throw their hat, you know, into the ring and say, "Hey, we're the best team in the SEC," and they've done it before. Ole Miss knocking off Bammas a few times, Tennessee knocking off Bammas a couple of years ago, LSU just went in the National Championship not too long ago. They just had the Heisman winner by adding Texas and Oklahoma. You know what really makes that pawn bigger, and there's another potential shark swimming around, so definitely going to make it more interesting for the SEC conference. Definitely going to do the two-lane green wave, definitely the better team, probably the best team in the American Athletic Conference this year, see if they can have another great year. You know, they've had two good years back to back, and this is a show-me type year, I think, for Tulane. You know, they go out and win another 9-10 games this year. They've put together, you know, about 30 wins the past, you know, three years, and a lot of, not a lot of teams can say that, so definitely interesting before the two-lane green wave. I know they potentially would love to join a big conference. You know, I think everybody really would, because if you're not part of the big four anymore, you're probably not going to be on TV, and more than likely you're not going to make the playoffs. So Tulane could be one of those teams though, win 11, go undefeated, they could get that 12th seed, and you know, make some noise in the playoffs. Another team out of the conference USA, the Liberty Flames, a team that made some noise last year as well, got one of those near six bull games, and you know, got to play a pretty pissed off Oregon team, and yeah, got destroyed, but it's still nice to see smaller schools, you know, get the chance to play with the big boys, and like I said, Liberty could have another one of those years as well, when you know, 11, 12 games could get that 12th seed in the playoffs. And last but not least, the JMU dukes definitely followed them a lot last year. I like the little guys every once in a while, you know, it's not just about the blue bloods, in college football, of course, you know, your Ohio states, and your Michigan's, and Bama's and Georgia's, the little guy, you know, there's always a shot, you know what I'm saying? David did kill Goliath, you know, Boise State did knock off Oklahoma. Hey, you know, sorry Mike, you know, I know that's a sore subject, definitely one of those games that you'll never ever really forget. So, but like I said, you never know, that's what I love about college football is any given weekend, especially those first couple of weeks of the season where you don't really know what what kind of team you have. You could lose to an Appalachian state, right Michigan, you know, I hate to, you know, rub salt in the wound, you know, with some of these, from these guys, you know, double day, especially I know he's a Michigan guy, you know, you never forget those losses. Those are always losses that sting you a little bit. You see it on ESPN or on social media, you get PTSD because you remember that feeling you had in your stomach, you know, watching that game knowing you should beat that team and you don't, you know, and you actually sometimes lose in a horrible way and it makes it even worse. So, it's going to be interesting. Like I said, I just do in a show every week, you know, talking about the conferences, breaking those teams down a little bit. And if they're a team that I think potentially can make some noise, I'm going to predict their schedule and hopefully like right before, you know, week one, maybe at the end of July, early August, I'm going to start going week by week and start really looking into the schedule of week by week and then even giving you guys a week, an extra week to get ready for week zero, week one, what to look for, what channel to watch it on, so on and so forth, just kind of like I did during the year. So like I said, very excited, all college football from now until August 31st, the start of the season, actually it starts, I think it's the 28th, the Thursday, kind of like what NFL does, you know, the champions play at their house on Thursday. It's not like that in college football, but they will have, this is really the official start of college football season a couple of days ahead of time, or maybe even a week, or week zero, you never know. I haven't really looked into that just yet, but oh, sorry about that. Let's start with the fourth, stay seminal. So let's look at their schedule and let's see if this team could potentially go back to the ACC, you know, conference championship game and win it yet again, and kind of say, hey, Clemson, you know, we are the class of this conference now, but they start their season the 24th. Like I said, I do believe that is week zero. They're playing Georgia Tech, you know, starting off right away with a conference game, since Georgia Tech is in their conference. Definitely team is not going to be able to hang with Florida State, so we have to give them that win right there, Florida State Beach, Georgia Tech, August 24th, and then they're going to turn around and play Monday, September the second, and they're going to play Boston College. Boston College is coming in to Tallahassee, yet another team just as a bottom dweller of the ACC conference for a long time. Ever since Matt Ryan played for them, they hadn't been that good, so Florida State gets another easy win right there. The ninth of September is their first buy. Definitely interesting. It's going to be different for every team, you know, like I said, it's going to be different, but week three is technically their buy. First buy, September 14th, they welcome in the Memphis Tigers. I do believe they are in the AAC, I do believe, so that is their first real non-conference, you know, game, you know, so that is definitely going to be a win. September 21st, they welcome in a new addition to their conference. They welcome in the Cal Bears to Tallahassee. Think about that, California, Berkeley, they have to fly all the way to Tallahassee to play these Florida State Seminoles, and that should be another win for Florida State. Puts them at 4 and 0, and they've played the last five weeks. They've played four of those games at home, you know, every game that they've played has been at home. Here we go, September 28th, their first road game. You know, you don't see that very often in scheduling for sure. They get to go to come to Texas and play the SMU Mustangs. I could potentially think this is a trap game. This is a question mark. I put a question mark next to this game. How good is SMU? SMU is going to be very excited to welcome in the Florida State Seminoles. You know, down there around Dallas could be interesting, but SMU keeps it interesting before the state still wins. First, real true tests. I truly believe in this Florida State schedule comes in October, the first weekend of October, the fifth. They welcome in Clemson, the Tigers, the one team that's been a thorn on their side. Definitely been the class of that conference for the past 10, 15 years. Gonna be tough, but I gotta give it to Clemson. I really do. If, you know, I've picked Clemson to go to the playoff, you know, this coming up year, and I think I have them win in the National Championship this year. So they got to, they got to win at least 11 games, maybe even go undefeated for that to happen. And I do believe Clemson's, you know, their struggle stops this year. I do believe they have a really good game, a really good year this year. So Florida State loses their first game of the season, turn around and play Friday night, October 18th, and they go to Duke to play the Blue Devils. Definitely, I put a T next to this game because this is a trap game. Especially if I'm wrong in Florida State, knock off Clemson a week before you get high. The good thing that's one of the bad things about college football, it's, you know, you beat a potential top 15 team, you get really high, and then you go out and play Appalachian State the next week or, you know, Pittsburgh or Virginia the next week, and they make it close or they upset you. You know, you don't play very well just because you busted your ass and practice the week before getting ready for one of the best teams in the country. You don't really quite prepare, you know, for Duke, you know, the next week. So, and that's a hard place to play, you know, acid clims and tigers last year. They went down to Duke and lost, but this Florida State team losing the week before, you know, they get their so-called shit together and go up to Duke and beat the Blue Devils. September 26th, they go to Miami, Florida to play the U, the hurricanes, a huge rivalry game, one of my favorite rivalries of all time. It's Florida State and Florida versus Miami. Those three teams just completely absolutely hate each other. Some of the best football games I've ever seen in the past. For sure. I put another question mark here, another T mix of this one, and I put an R. You know, T's for trap, R's for rivalry, and a question mark. Just because I do not know how good this Miami, Florida hurricane team is going to be this year. They have potential. They get recruits. I mean, it's always been said about Miami. It's pretty easy to get recruited by Miami. I'm not easy to get. Easy to recruit for Miami. You know, you've got beautiful beaches, you know, beautiful women, beautiful men, yada, yada, yada. Just like Hawaii. It's easy for Hawaii to recruit. You know, a lot of people, yeah, I wouldn't mind playing there. You know, it's just one of those things, but I still think Florida State wins. They beat the U of the hurricanes. October 26th, going into November, sorry. Yeah, I guess it is technically November, but November, the second they welcome in at the North Carolina Tar Heels got in yet again. Another question mark there. This is a team that is going to look a whole lot different than what you've probably seen the past couple of years, you know, Drake may be in there for a couple of years. Guys act as a walker. So on and so forth. There's been there's a lot of change. Is Mac Brown still have it in them for North Carolina to be yet again, I mean that content kind of like an NC State. They always kind of hang around. You know, they will win some games you're not supposed to, but they'll lose some games they're not supposed to either. But since Florida State's playing at home, you got to give Florida State the edge right there. November 9th, they go to Notre Dame to play the fighting Irish. Another one. I put a T next to it. I put a question mark next to it. I don't know about the Notre Dame fighting Irish, you know, losing Sam Hartman and Audrey Gostimme and Joe Alt. Some of those guys is going to be pretty hard to replace. I know Notre Dame is just one of those schools, kind of do it. But I don't know anything about him. I might do Notre Dame. I might look into their schedule, you know, in the next coming months. But like I said, my real sure, that's a very hard place to play too as well. Should be an interesting game, but I do believe Florida State is just a little bit better than the Notre Dame fighting Irish. They get a win right there. Last buy of the season is November 16th. Nice, good place for a buy. They've had, you know, those last four or five games, really tough games that buy a week is very going to be very much appreciated for these Florida State Seminoles. Last non-conference game. She kind of does what the SEC does the second to last, you know, week of the season. You get a non-conference game, a kind of a warm-up game, a get-right game, so to speak. November 23rd, they welcome in Charleston, Southern. Couldn't tell you anything about them. You know, it could be perfectly honest with the, you know, a Division II type school. Yada, yada, yada, a team that's going to get a big bankroll just to walk into Tallahassee for the Tallahassee Seminoles, Florida State Seminoles to beat this Team 66 tutorial. Moving on. Last week of the season, rivalry game. November 30th, they welcome in the Florida Gators out of the SEC rivalry game. I put a T next to it and I put another question mark next to it. I don't know anything about these Florida Gators. I definitely want to do the Florida Gators if I have time in the summer and look at their schedule because they statistically have the hardest schedule in college football. This coming up here, you know, you know, being in the SEC for one is always going to be tough. You're going to play potentially five, maybe even six decent teams or great teams. You could get that bad end of the stick one year, play Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Texas now, all in one year. You know, it's going to, there's going to be teams that are going to have a short end of the stick in the SEC now. It's just going to be how the cookie crumbles, you know, it is what it is. And, you know, Florida has to play Florida State this year too. So it's going to be interesting for the Florida Gators. So if you're a Florida Gators fan, this could be a great season or this could be a season that you just would want to forget. So I got to get Florida State the nod there. Just too good of a team. I know Florida State's also a team that could potentially fall out. You know, they lost Jordan Travis. They lost Trey Benson. They lose Keyon Coleman. This team, I think potentially could lose, hell, maybe three or four games. You know, you got your, I think the SMU, that could be the, that could be a trap game. All those, I hate to say it, but powder puff games earlier in the season. First true test is on the road. The first road, you know, game is going to SMU, not a hard place to play, but you never know. You know, going to do, playing Clemson, playing to you, going to Notre Dame. And of course, you know, the last game of the season playing the Florida Gators, Florida Gators could be, you know, have 10 wins by then. You never know. But tough schedule, it's very back-ended. And that is sometimes a scary thing, especially when you have a bunch of good games in a row and you start reeling off losses. You know, they will be definitely thinking, the sky is falling down in town of Assy for sure. Especially a team that, you know, missed out on the playoff last year, was really pissed off and then turned around and didn't even play their bowl game. I know they, they dressed up for it, but they didn't play. So, you know, it is what it is. But I got them going 11 and 1 and probably getting a spot in the college football playoff. So let me get that wrote down. One, put the CFP and put a star next to that. You know, just in case, I mean, you go, you went 11 games, you know, in your season, more than likely you're going to make the playoff. So let's go to the darlings of the SEC, the familiar face of the ACC. If you know the ACC conference, you know, Clemson has owned that conference for a long time. You know, Dabo Sweeney, you know, that name, whether one national championships, countless ACC championships, it is what it is. Let's start with their first game of the season. This is August 31st. And it's a doozy, a neutral site game against the Georgia Bulldogs. Definitely, it's a rematch. I do believe a couple of years ago, the College Football playoff national championship game. Very tough. I just can go so many different ways. This Clemson Tigers team can walk into wherever they're playing and beat up on Georgia. But I've seen Georgia beat up on good teams, that opening game of the season, as well. Opening game, neutral site type games, two big boys playing against each other, is sometimes very scary. But, you know what, I just, Georgia's just one of those teams, man. Don't fall off. They don't rebuild. They just reload. Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, Clemson loses. Game one of their season out of the gate, neutral site game against Georgia, opening, I guess, week one. Let's see here, September 7th, they get a game they get Appalachian State at home, you know, to open up their season. Oh, that is a win. They blow out App State, especially losing the week before to Georgia. The 14th of September is their first five this season. 9/21, September 21st, they welcome in the NC State Wolfpack. Definitely a team is formidable. Not a bad team, very interesting team, but Clemson beats the NC State Wolfpack. September 28th, they welcome in the Stanford Cardinal, a new addition to this conference. And of course, Clemson just dominates. The Stanford Cardinal team shows them they are one of the best teams in that conference. Let's see here, October 5th, okay, Florida State. I have Clemson beating Florida State right here, so they get another win right there. October 12th, they go to Wake Forest to play the Demon Deacons. Not a tough place to play. I mean, I guess it could be one of those games. I do have a T right there for a trap, especially after Florida State the week before. Like I said, if Clemson goes out and loses this game, they're going to go out and blow out Wake Forest the next week. But beating Florida State the week before could spell trouble for a Clemson Tigers team going to Wake Forest and losing that game. But it doesn't happen. They win that game at Wake Forest, October 12th. October 19th, they welcome in the Virginia Cavaliers, easy peasy, another yet again, another team that is just cannot hang with the likes of the Clemson Tigers, they win right there. October 26th is their second and final buy, moving on to November the second. Welcome in the Louisville Cardinal into their house, yet again, another team could be decent. You never know, they remind me a lot of the NC States and the North Carolina's. They could have a good year and upset some people here and there, but it doesn't happen this year. They lose to the Clemson Tigers in November 2nd. November 9th, they take a trip to Hokieville to play the Virginia Tech Hokies. I do have a T right here as well. That is a difficult place to play in Blacksburg. Enter Sandbin, it is a hard place to play. I know Virginia Tech hasn't been the Virginia Tech of old, but it is still tread lightly. You know, you still, you know, carry a big stick when you walk into Blacksburg to play the Virginia Tech Hokies. That home field advantage is no freaking joke, but Clemson still gets it done November 9th, going to Blacksburg and playing the Virginia Tech Hokies. The 16th of November, they go to Pitt to play the Panthers, yet again, I put a T right there as well. This is a team every once in a while will do something crazy and knock somebody off. It happens all the time, but it doesn't happen this year. They beat the Panthers. November 16th, November 23rd, Clemson welcomes in the Citadel, kind of like what I just talked about with the Florida State Seminoles the week before. That second to last season, you get to get right game. You get a paycheck game, so to speak. You welcome in the Citadel, Clemson wins 55 to 3. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Last game of the season, November 30th, they welcome in South Carolina. It's the Palmetto Bowl. Two teams absolutely hate each other. Big rivalry game. You have to put an R next to this as well, and yet again, I put a T next to this one as well, too, and a question mark. I do not know about the South Carolina Gamecocks. Can they win eight or nine games this year? Possibly. Can they only win a couple? Same thing. South Carolina is kind of in that Florida Gators boat. They get some short ends of the sticks. I'm here. They have to play some really hard teams, sometimes weeks in a row. You have to go to Death Valley. You have to go to Sanford Stadium. You get to have Texas in your backyard. Like I said, sometimes that SEC schedule is going to be a monster. Like I said, this year is going to be great. I feel bad for the Virginia Techs, and, you know, some of those schools in, I should have said Vanderbilt. I think that's what I should have said. I can't remember what I just said, but yeah, I fell sorry for the Vanderbilt's, and teams at the bottom kind of like South Carolina as the Florida's in the SEC this year, just because it's going to be a gauntlet of all gauntlets, but Clemson wins yet again. The Palmetto Bowl, the rivalry game against South Carolina that week, puts them at 11, and won as well. Going to put CFP right here, question mark, and put a star just in case. You know, like I said, there's enough 11 wins teams. You're going to probably make a, you know, 12, you're going to get one of the 12 seats. Absolutely. I think their schedule is a lot easier than Florida State. I know they do that for a reason. You know, the past conference champion gets a little tougher schedule the next week or the next year, sorry. Clemson, of course, they're, I do believe their hardest game in the season starts week one. You know, if they go out and beat Georgia, that could fast pace them to a number one seat in the college football playoff. I know they play Florida State in Tallahassee, a hard place to play, definitely going to be up and crazy down there in Tallahassee for that game. But other than that, I don't see very many possible teams that match up with the Clemson Tigers. The Clemson Tigers get some of the best recruits in the land. They can pick and choose who gets scholarships rather than just taking who they can get. Clemson could be picky. You know, it is what it is. They're definitely one of the classes of the big 12 turned themselves into a blue blood, especially the past in 15 years. So could be very interesting here for Clemson. But then again, I had really high aspirations for them last year. I do believe they lost four or five games last year, maybe even three or four. I can't remember. But that's too many. Clemson team loses three or four games in the regular season. That's three or four games too many. They have standards, just like the Penn States and Ohio States of the scene. You don't lose, period. You know, your goal is to go undefeated and win a national championship every single year. And it's not out of the question for some of those teams. You get the depth. You get the players. You get to go to the Texases and the Floridaes and the Californiaers and pick and choose who you want on your team. You know, it is what it is. I hate to say it. Constable is very, very top heavy. But with these conferences getting more and more competitive and becoming bigger, definitely a cream roll rush to the top. I do believe Bama has a decent year, but not a long Bama standards. You know, losing Nick Saban in their offseason and I looking at their schedule. They could lose four or five games this year. And that would be the sky is falling in Tuscaloosa. But like I said, I can't wait to do them. I'm going to do a whole lot more teams. So please welcome, welcome to the offseason of College Football. Best time of the year. I do believe, you know, it's starting to get warm. You know, I fired up the grill not too long ago. Actually, I've cooked on it twice now, since it's technically been spring. It's that time of year. You go outside, you have some fun, you know, get some sun. Yeah, it sucks having a mo more often and, you know, the heat, especially being in Texas, we're already getting, you know, 80s and 90 degrees, you know, here and it's only spring. Even I'm saying and summer is just right around the corner. It's a funny thing about Texas is we get summer for about five, maybe six months of the year and we get spring for a couple of weeks. Where the weather's nice, it's cool, it's crisp, you know, a little rain here and there, but you blink and it is summer and summer lasts a long time and I love it. I'm a summer baby. My birthday's in summer. I love summertime, you know, patios and barbecues and drinking cold beer, baby and getting ready for college football. You know, that is exactly what I am here for because I know it's May. I know it is, you know, just the day after Mother's Day. It feels like it's so long away, but when you think about it week, every week I'm going to come and I'm going to talk more about these conferences, do more schedule breakdowns, start looking into some of these matchups the first couple of weeks of the season and it'll be here. You know what I'm saying? It doesn't feel like Michigan just won the national championship. It has been almost five months since Michigan has held up that agree trophy and because they won the college football playoff that year. It does not feel like it's been that long, but it has. So before you know it, it's going to be June before you know it is July and next thing you know, it is August and that's when it starts getting, you start feeling it. You know what I'm saying? It's still hot, but you know football is that month. You know what I'm saying? We start football this month, so can't wait. Got so many so much stuff coming to you guys, but like I said, I'm going to have stuff jam packed to get you guys ready for college football baby because it is right around the corner. So thank you guys, yet again, happy belated, happy Mother's Day to you guys out there. All your moms, any women out there, if you are a mother, thank you. Big shout outs to all the people out there, you know, especially Mr. Ritter, and Terry Minnifield, Goose. I can't wait for the season to start big ups to growing for, you know, keeping the offseason thing going. You know, I know Mike loves that as well. You know, we have all these shows and said ways, you know, you got him doing his thing, me doing mine. You know, Goose is going to come back, you know, this year probably doing more prime time stuff. You're going to have grim doing the international games. It's going to be so much fun, you know, just coming up season. So please listen to those guys as well. And of course me with the college football, be breaking down, previewing and then breaking down, you know, pretty much two shows every week, I guess, if you want to see it like that. But I will get you guys ready for the college football season because I cannot wait for it to start. So if you are in California, the main Florida Oregon, or if in the year in the great state of Texas, baby with the stars at night, are big and bright. Thank you so much for listening. So KG Kevin Watson, big John DJ fucking Cuzmo, my boy Howard Poole, my dude, love that guy to death Detroit Kyle. Definitely he needs to get on the show very, very soon. Quite fondly remember his show and he stood out. He had one of those kind of voices, kind of personalities, kind of like, you know, DJ Cuzmo is and you kind of want to hear that person again. So definitely I would love to hear about Detroit Kyle. Hopefully he is doing well as well. Of course, Grim Reaper, that guy doing his thing. You know, it's cool to have, you know, international listeners. He just blows my mind how I put this show out and Mike and, you know, Terry put out shows and it can get listened to in the United Kingdom or, you know, Vietnam, Slovakia, so on and so forth. It just blows my mind how far we can reach and how far we have come. But we haven't come far enough. So big ups to you guys. Thank you so much. I will stop talking very, very soon. Get the page fee on it. I cannot express that enough. Sometimes my shows run long. I shouldn't even say sometimes most times my shows run long. I talk a lot. But I also feel like I have to get stuff out. Like I said, I have a script, I play, you know, read through my script. Sometimes I take tangents, you know, I go off script sometimes. Hopefully you enjoy it. I said, I hope I put out quality stuff for you guys because I do it for y'all. You know, as much as I love doing this homework and looking into schedules and these conferences and so on and so forth, I do it for the listeners. I want to, you know, have put out quality stuff for entertainment for you guys to listen to whether you're working out or at work, you know, so on and so forth. I just want to entertain you and I hope I do whether you think I'm a stooge or you enjoy my stuff or I make you laugh or, you know, like I said, there's just you can take it any way you want. I just want to entertain you. You know, there's all different kinds of form of entertainment, right? So thank you guys so much. It gets pretty cheer on that. Pay that dollar a month. Get these episodes unadded, you know, no ads, you know, get cousin Mike unfiltered, you know, unedited, you know, unapologetic. I mean, that's all you would want to see him for. Right, man. I'm just one of those people. I'm no filter. I just kind of say what's on my mind. Like I said before, it's gotten me in trouble in the past. It's helped me, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I am who I am and I've learned to become who I am because of that. So big ups. Thank you guys. Know where you are, you know, know where you're going and what to do when you get there. So be good people. Help each other out. Have good, safe spring and a good, safe summer. I know it is. And that's all I can ever ask for. You know, loved by a neighbor. Take care of yourselves. See your family as much as you can. Text your friends. You know, time is short.
