This is AP News. I'm Rita Folle. Donald Trump's hush money case is back on today. They have no case. There's no crime. But there's a lot of talk about what happened yesterday as Attorney Robert Costello testified. The AP's Michael Sisak is in New York. Judge Juan Mershan excused the jury and said he wanted to instruct the witness in decorum. He called him out for his under the breath remarks and for running through stop signs. Running through those objections. During that admonition, the judge got even more incensed. He accused the witness of staring him down and said that at certain points during his testimony he had been rolling his eyes and giving him side eye. Upset, the judge ordered the courtroom cleared. Officers ushered reporters out into the hallway. Israeli officials seized broadcasting equipment belonging to the Associated Press. This organization in southern Israel this morning, accusing it of violating a new media law by providing images to Al Jazeera, a satellite channel based in Qatar. Al Jazeera is among thousands of clients that get live video feeds from the AP and other news organizations. The AP is denouncing Israel's action. The National Weather Service is warning of severe thunderstorms across the Midwest today. Parts of Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois, damaging winds, large hail-strong tornadoes possible. The National Weather Service is Bob Orvek. It looks like it's going to be pretty active anywhere from Wisconsin southward through southern Minnesota, Iowa, northwestern Illinois, into Missouri. A lot of thunderstorm activity possible across those areas. The best chance for severe weather is going to be in the form of high winds and hail. But there's also a chance of tornadoes across the same area. A British man died and dozens of other passengers were hurt when a Singapore Airlines flight from London hit severe turbulence over the Indian Ocean, the flight landed in Bangkok. This is AP News. Iran is in mourning after its president and several others died in a helicopter crash. Mourners have begun days of funerals for Iran's president and others killed in a helicopter crash. A sea of black could be seen across the Iranian city of Tabriz. Mourners came out in droves to pay their last respects to deceased Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi and Iran's foreign minister among other officials. A vehicle carried the bodies of Raisi as well as the foreign minister Hossein Amilad Dolahian, the governor of Iran's East Azerbaijan province, a senior cleric from Tabriz, and a revolutionary guard official and three crew members. A government-led series of ceremonies is aimed at both honoring the dead and projecting strength in an unsettled Middle East. I'm Karen Shamas.
