AP News. I'm Ben Thomas. The federal judges blocked the Biden administration from enforcing a new rule in Texas that would require firearms dealers to run background checks on buyers at gun shows and other places outside brick and mortar stores. Norman Hall has more. The decision was issued by Judge Matthew Casmeric, an appointee of former President Donald Trump. The opinion was issued before the rule had been set to take effect Monday. It prevents the federal government from enforcing the rule against several gun rights groups in Texas. Twenty-six Republican attorneys general from other states filed lawsuits earlier this month in federal court, aiming to block enforcement of the rule. I'm Norman Hall. The chief prosecutor of the World's Top War Crimes Court is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said this. The ICC has no jurisdiction over Israel, and Mr. Con's actions will not stop us from waging our just war against Hamas. The prosecution arrested its case at Donald Trump's Hush Money trial, and the defense has begun calling witnesses. Michael Sissett reports one of them, former federal prosecutor Robert Costello, drew the judge's ire. Judge Juan Mershan excused the jury and said he wanted to instruct the witness in decorum. He called him out for his under-the-breath remarks and running through stop signs, running through those objections. During that admonition, the judge got even more incensed. He accused the witness of staring him down and said that at certain points during his testimony, he had been rolling his eyes and giving him side-eye. Upset, the judge ordered the courtroom cleared. Officers ushered reporters out into the hallway. About five minutes later, testimony resumed, and Costello was somewhat better behaved. Trump Media and Technology Group lost more than $300 million last quarter. That, from its first earnings report, is a publicly traded company. A mix finished to a quiet trading day on Wall Street, the S&P edged up 0.1 percent, the Nasdaq 0.7 to a new record, while the Dow slipped 0.5 percent. This is AP News. They called them shock flavors, and they're showing up on store shelves. Second McGonney explains. Think Sour Patch Kid Oreos, pink lemonade kit cats, peeps-flavored Pepsi, at Van Lewin Ice Cream. It's about surprising and sometimes delighting customers. By offering them something that's unexpected, CEO Ben Van Lewin points to a flavor from three years ago. I knew that the Kraft Mac and Cheese flavor was going to do really well. It became a hit, but why all the weird flavors? We are variety-seeking animals. And food marketing expert Mark Lang says companies are trying to keep up with novel flavors, but it doesn't always work. Just because a product is out there doesn't mean it was a good idea. And Van Lewin couldn't eat more than a few bites of the company's Hidden Valley Ranch Ice Cream. I'm Sager McGonney. And I'm Ben Thomas, AP News. Thanks for listening. You see a family SUV.
