Turtle Boy is actually in the courtroom today. Is it defendant? Yeah. I know. I know. It's weird, isn't it? Once you get used to following the trial... Feels like it's a holiday almost. It does. It does. And the thing... It's a mid-week holiday because it's going to be back in session tomorrow with one of the other much anticipated witnesses, ATF, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent Brian Higgins, who apparently had the hots for Karen Reed, and may have been involved with her earlier, he's going to be on the witness stand tomorrow. So we will be all over it again tomorrow. And as I was just telling Grace in the crossover, this is getting huge, huge attention. We now don't have to wait for ratings and that kind of thing. You can just get streaming audience right off the internet, whether you're a radio or newspapers. And this case is just huge. But we will be all over it again tomorrow when Brian Higgins takes the stand. I don't think we'll have Turtle Boy on tonight. I don't think there's any need to have a month tonight. But we'll let you know what happens in court. I don't think this is just one of those housekeeping events that he has. And once this case is thrown out, I think the jury says not guilty. I think these charges against him will go away as well. Anyway, 844, we've got plenty of stuff to talk about. As you know, President Trump is going to hold a rally tonight in the Bronx. Fox News, he's going to hold a rally soon. I don't think it's until tonight. I don't think they're going to start live coverage until five or six o'clock tonight of the event. You know how it goes. It'll probably be where we're in the longest part of the year for daylight now. So he doesn't have to get there before sunset. I mean, it's like the sun's not going down until what? 738 o'clock, 8 o'clock tonight. Anyway, but we do have Brandon. Brandon has been taking a holiday. He's been working out in the Iron Lung. There was a there was a wagon train marathon on me TV the other day with just the they just went back to the war. His favorite is the Ward Monde. He doesn't care so much for John McIntyre as the as the wagon mastery prefers Ward Monde. And he was he's been watching that. But he he had the president of Kenya came in last night to the White House. And they had a they he he met with him and talked to reporters briefly. And then today they they had a an official greeting ceremony. And then they had a press conference. So we've got stuff from all three of these. And and again, I know a lot of people get disappointed when they don't get their Brandon cuts and it's it's not up to it's not up to us. It's up to it's up to Brandon. But this is uh this is Biden greeting up president Ruto yesterday and he's asked by a reporter when he's going to Africa. This is this is just weird stuff. This is this was his only appearance of the day yesterday cut one. President, where are you going to Africa, sir? When do you want to go? When do you want to go? Ready to go. To. Ready. Go. Ready. Pop ready. Open. Well, thank you very much. I need shine. Very, very basic. I mean, we're going to go five. You're going to say two, six. Okay. We're heading today. Happen. You said what sir? Nope. When do you want to go? That wasn't as good as I thought it was for sound. When do you want to go? And then he staggers back into the to the White House. It is somebody who covers them on a daily basis. Can you imagine the Marines having to watch this stuff day after day? I mean, this is supposedly, you know, one of the most prestigious assignments there is if you're in the military or the secret service. And you're in a long-term care memory facility. That's what it is. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty, two, forty, two. Yeah. That's what I'm hearing the rally is six o'clock too. That's what I think that's when most of the news stations are going to it. But it should be pretty interesting. It should be pretty good stuff. If he comes out during the live during the six o'clock hour of the show, we'll take some of it live. Okay. So here he is greeting Kenyan President William Ruto today, cut to. Ladies and gentlemen, that new democracy, that new democracy is endearing and enduring. Endearing and enduring. Have you ever heard of democracy described as endearing? No, he meant to say endearing. And then he just, he just keeps right on going and corrects himself. Cut five. Around the world, Kenya and America are also standing united against the terror of ISIS and El Shabaab perpetrate in East Africa, that they continue to perpetrate in East Africa. Did they perpetrate East Africa? Perpetrate East Africa in East Africa. Cut six. As we began the next decade of our partnership, we've launched a new initiative to bring our countries, companies, and communities closer together. You can never get that one straight. No, is it that hard to to distinguish between companies, communities, and countries, and corporations too. He gets corporations mixed up in there too. He cannot handle C words anymore. But you know, more to do, but we finally began to build an economy that works for working people for the middle class, for the entire company, the entire country. The entire country is here for you. That's not hyperbole. We mean that. The entire country is here for you. You know, if you cut all words to begin with C out of a speech, though, you've really significantly reduced the number of, well, words, nouns, verbs. Now we're turning things around in a big way. All over the country, semiconductor countries are investing hundreds of billions of dollars. You know, is there a list, a proscribed list of words and phrases for the White House speech, right? I mean, you can't use numbers. You can't use numbers anymore. You can't use billions, trillions, millions, or there will always be a disaster. Now it's now you can't use companies, countries, communities, corporations. So, Mr. President, let's talk about the economy. How do you to see the economy going, growing, cut seven? We're deep in our economic cooperation. Both President Ruto and I have focused on growing economies, are growing economies, and growing them from the bottom up, the middle out, the bottom up, and when that happens, everybody does, well, not the top down. From the bottom up, middle out, bottom up. Bottoms up! As Hunter likes to say, now we have another problem. Another of those dreaded C words is about to make its appearance at the joint press conference just a few minutes ago, cut eight. Right now, many companies, many countries, debt stands in the way and growing. Another recurring problem. What exactly is Kamala Harris' title? Cut nine. Two years ago, our nation's first Black Vice President and President of Kamala Harris. Our nation's first Vice President President. President, let me hear that one again. Two years ago, our nation's first Black Vice President and President of Kamala Harris. Mr. President, Mr. President, excuse me, I'm trying to get this straight for the associated press. Is she the President or the Vice President? You said she's both. Cut 12. Do I ask the next question as well? Wait, I thought it was a press conference where you were asked questions. Am I confused? Have we changed the format of the press conferences? Let me hear - did I get that straight, Mr. President? Okay, next - do I ask the next question as well? Let's try again, cut 14. Could you tell me what the African Union is doing as well as Kenya's doing when it comes to the humanitarian crisis in the Kamala? Thank you. What was my question? No, you asked the questions. Remember, you said, do I ask the next question? Cut 15. To help developing countries, access more financing, to alleviate debt distress, and to tackle climate change. What is your commitment of this? Thank you. Was you - I'm sorry, I didn't catch all your questions. Well, you know what, to be perfect. I guess he really does have to wake up to go to the Bronx. To be honest, I didn't really understand that question either. That was kind of an open-ended inquiry, shall we say. 917 Biden isn't even trying anymore. 844-542. Today's poll question which you can vote in at howiecarshow.com is Illinois wants to change what felons are called. Which of these descriptions do you prefer? A fender? That's the one in the books right now in Illinois. Justice impacted individuals. That's the one that the the wokesters want to put in. Returning citizen. That's Massachusetts. Excon. Yeah. Jailbird or Iana Presley's husband. I prefer Jailbird, a traditional description. 23% say Jailbird. 30% say Excon. 28% say Iana Presley's husband. 13% for a fender. 6% for justice impacted individual. And 1% for returning citizen. 1% for the Massachusetts official PC version. I don't know if it's in the law books yet or not but all the press releases talk about the returning individuals. And yes, Iana Presley's husband is a he did 10 years on a drug trafficking rap. In case you weren't familiar with that. You didn't read that in the globe. Just like you didn't read about hoes long to die in cold cold in the globe this morning either. Anthony, you're next with highway car. Go ahead, Anthony. Hey, how are you? So I watch like five minutes of the Biden thing here with the president of Kenya. So somebody had asked him a question. I forget what the question was. But he had to have 100% knew what the question was because his answer came off the binder he was looking at the two minutes reciting it. Yeah, well, you know what I'm saying? I mean, that's just like and not just one of us. What's this one of the thing that I noticed was he's literally like the lights are on nobody's home. The dead stare that he has that you see like elderly people and elderly home by themselves. I know just like, yeah, like, you know, and the shuffling walk, Anthony, that's the same thing you see in a memory care nursing home. You know, he can barely he can barely get from one location to the next. Play cut 11, Taylor. First question. Michael Wilner, McClatchy. Thank you, Mr. President. Two questions if I may on no one. I'm going to do my level best. McClatchy, they're they're bankrupt. Left wing, rag, chain of newspapers in California, basically. And the other ones who get the first question. Cut 13. You asked about you applied. We weren't doing anything anywhere else. Well, we were kind of occupied around the world, but we're also engaged in Congo in the neighborhood in the Congo neighborhood. What ward is that? Is that Ward five or Ward six or both wards? Mr. Congo's neighborhood. 844 542 42 Charlie, you're next with how we car go ahead, Charlie. Hi, how are you doing? Hi, I was watching some of the congressional hearing today, but the ATF director, Jim Jordan, was growing them. And that guy did a little more. He was Babylon, worse than Biden. I mean, it's just incredible. And it just occurred to me that his entire cabinet is the biggest bunch of sideshow freaks ever assembled. I saw another video. I'm amazed this didn't make it big of Anthony Blinken over in Ukraine with the stage at a rock concert guitar. Yeah. Yeah, that was that was quite embarrassing. I'll tell you, though, I think the worst thing the last couple of days has been this was a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing confirmation hearing for this nutty woman who led a who led a six to male serial rapist go into a female prison. We got the sound cuts from that. Crews in Kennedy particularly crews just went crazy on this woman. I'm how we car. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. 844 542 4844 542 42. That is the number if you'd like to call and be on the show today or leave a message on the chump line as as we head toward. We have a day off from the Karen Reed trial today due to the fact that turtle boy is in the same courtroom on related charges. But it'll be back tomorrow and we'll be checking in and see if Brian Higgins takes the stand or not. So right now, though, we have grace with the news. Hello, Howard. Yes. Today, the Senate voted down the bipartisan border bill marking the second time. Gimmick. Gimmick. That's a good word the Republicans came up with for it. But you know, they use it in the in the globe comment sections that Republicans are to blame for this disaster because they voted down the bipartisan bill in the Senate from the Senate. Yeah, anyone who's buying that is too far gone anyway. Yeah. And Schumer Schumer said yesterday, this bill provides for orderly immigration of economic migrants. You know what economic migrants means? That means they're broke. They have no skills. We're not going to vet them. They come from third world countries and they have no intention of ever getting a job in this country. And how can you how can you have an orderly invasion of people who don't want to work, don't speak English? Many of them have diseases, no skills whatsoever, etc, etc. Schumer also has repeatedly said in recent weeks that he wanted to put the bill on the floor again to drive home the point that former President Trump and his supporters killed the bill for political purposes and that Democrats want action at the border. That's from the Hill. I mean, even MSNBC listeners, right, have got to be able to see through that, don't they? That that's my whole thing is that I think the people who buy that are already, you know, like Joy Behar types. So I'm not too worried about it. Now let's talk a little bit about the polls. Did you see right? By the way that the the average MSNBC listener, did you see that? That was in the Wall Street Journal today is is over 70 years old. Wow. They're having they're having they're having a lot of problems selling TV spots. Nowadays, because the demo is 25 to 54. Yeah, the demo is 25 to 54. The like the average age of a CBS listener or watcher viewer is 66. ABC is 64. Fox is 69. So, you know, they're just saying, you know, well, we may not be for everybody, but if you're looking for poly dead to sell poly dead or depends, you know, or I've fallen and I can't get up. You know what happens after the viewer stops wanting to watch MSNBC, they decide to run for president. I thought you were to say death. No, they'll say, you know what? I think it's time for me to become a senator, a US senator. I think I've finally reached the age where it's appropriate. I know a guy was running for the county office in in this county or yeah, this county 78 years old. He's running for the office for the first time. I mean, he said all sorts of other offices, but he's trying to move up to a different office the age of 78. I mean, in the Senate, if he were running for that in the Senate, 78 is not too bad. They call you a whipper snapper. Yeah, they would. Biden has edged ahead of Trump as nearly 20% of voters say their choice might change. So president Biden, former president Donald Trump or locked in a statistical tie as they gear up for the first of two scheduled debates next month, but nearly one fifth of voters say they could still change their mind about for whom they ultimately pulled the lever according to the New York Post. I don't know if I believe that. Yeah, who's who's Paul is that? Oh, this is a Quinnipiac. Yeah, it's I think that's a dem demelining poll. That's a poll for a dollar. Despite the incumbents lead, history suggests the margin would be tight enough for Trump to secure victory in the electoral college. Now last month, keep in mind the survey found Trump and Biden in a flat footed tie with each receiving 46%. That's enough with that's enough with the poll stuff. I don't go with whether I don't care if they're up or down, you know, they don't mean much. Nikki Haley says she's voting for Trump. Yes, I saw that. Yeah, she yeah, after after a six second delay when she was asked the question, that's that's enough. You're fired, Nikki, as if she wasn't fired already a former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley plans to vote for Donald Trump. She said Wednesday and her first public remarks since exiting the Republican presidential primary move more than two months ago. Now, do you think she's angling for? Yeah, of course, what other reason could there be? But do you think that's a possibility? No, no, do you? I wouldn't rule it out. He's very forgiving when he wants to be. I know people don't associate Trump with forgiveness. He's very he's very forgiving, you know, in certain circumstances. But when you stab him in the back and then say you're not gonna he then she went down to Mar-a-Lago and said she wouldn't run against him and then she decided to run against him after stabbing him in the back on January 6th. I mean, she's she's I'm ruling. I'm ruling it out. I don't think she'll be VP, but I'm just saying down the line. Who knows? So one story that we haven't really talked about too much, how he was the Harrison Butker controversy over his speech. Yes. And now it's been 11 days since the speech and people are still freaking out about it. People are still melting down over the fact that he, you know, made some nice comments about the worst thing I think was the fact that the city of Kansas City, their official website, their official Twitter account, I should say, doxtem. Yeah. Now, I mean, talk about outrageous. What did he, what exactly did he say that was so wrong? And they doxtem and then they took it, they took it down. They, you know, they put down where he lived and they listed his address so that people could go there and harass him and his family. I think he's got three kids, right? And they, they took it down. But the attorney general of Missouri says he's going to investigate and I hope he does. Yeah, it was, it was very pointed to it was supposed to be a very funny, like kind of vengeful tweet. And then they tried to back track and say, Oh, you know, there was a mistake. We never meant to put that out there. It was very purposeful. Yeah, tell me like Dr. Morin's yesterday. It was a joke. We were just trying to get it. Has everybody lost their sense of humor? I'm talking about erasing all these, you know, deleting all these, you know, official documents. Come on. I do want to get to Dr. Morin's in a second. But first I wanted to mention this, which I was very surprised by. So Patrick Mahomes was asked about this. Yes. And you know, I don't have anything against Patrick Mahomes. But I didn't expect him to, I expected him to go the easy way and say, yeah, I disagree with that. I condemn it. And instead he really stood up for Harrison Butker. He said, I've known him for seven years. I judge him by the character he shows every day. And that's a good person. That's someone who cares about the family around him cares about his family and wants to make a good impact in society. When you're in a locker room, you're around a lot of people from a lot of different areas of life. He goes on to talk about different viewpoints. And he says, I understand the person that he is, he's trying to do whatever he can to lead people in the right direction. And also the co he's not a thug. In other words, the coach Andy Reed also who has had some sons who've had some severe, severe problems. I mean, he knows what it's like to have people not just on the team, but in his own family that have that have done bad things, like hitting somebody while driving drunk. Yep. And he also defended Harrison. He said, I talked to Harrison all the time. I didn't talk to him about this. I didn't think we needed to. We're a microcosm of life. Talked about all the different people in the locker room. That's the great thing about America man. And we're just like I said, a microcosm of that. My wish is that everybody could kind of follow that. So they did not take the bait to slam him for this. And I'm sure that well, you know, I talk about Tyree kill, you know, the guy who he was a wide receiver for the Chiefs. And then he was going to go to the Jets. And then he realized he was going to have to pay 10% in income tax and all that stuff. So he went to the dolphins. But he's been hasn't he had all kinds of domestic disputes and all. I mean, not that he's the only one, but I mean, he's one that I remember in that locker room with the Chiefs. I mean, and then the Chiefs have a linebacker. I mean, before before my homes and Kelsey and all those people. But they had a linebacker who had like six, eight kids out of wedlock and, you know, was killed in a mysterious car accident. I mean, they've every team has people like that and they never get ripped. And you know what else? I think Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reed can also, they can see which way the wind is blowing and when someone, the media can say whatever they want, how about Harrison Bucker, and they can claim there's all this backlash. But when somebody's NFL Jersey suddenly goes to the number one bestseller and beats Patrick Mahomes, he's not an idiot. Like he knows what's going on. And he's probably thinking to himself, I don't think I want to bark up this tree. I think I'm just going to have his back. How about when the paths drafted that, that guy, I think it was from Nebraska, the defensive lineman who would, it would attack some, some woman. And then I, and I remember when it happened, I said, geez, don't they, didn't they do any research? Because I just knew it just from, you know, reading the agate type on the sports pages. And then they claim, we didn't know that. Yeah, you would think that Harrison Bucker was like Aaron Hernandez. What did he do? He said he loved his wife and that she does a good job as a homemaker. And he congratulated the women in the audience for, for how many people did Aaron Hernandez kill three? Or is it more? He killed two in that bar and they leave in the bar in the south end. Yeah, but he killed that was right outside the old Herald. He didn't espouse Catholic values. And that's why Harrison Bucker is worse. Hey, you mentioned Dr. Morenz. I do want to talk about this for people who have not been following this testimony yesterday. He was at a subcommittee hearing. He's talking about why he was sending all these emails to Peter Dossack. And there were two things that stood out to me. How he, one is like you said, he's big on the, it was a joke. I was being funny. And then the other thing he leans on is Peter Dossack was very depressed. He was in a, he was getting death threats. And this was his way of cheering him up was to make jokes about deleting things and hiding from foyas and using private emails. But the reason I bring it up now on Grace's news, you are a fashion Christian Peter's. That's the guy. That's the, that line. Then they, the glow broke the story. Christian Peter's has a jacquard passed. No kidding. No kidding. He wouldn't pay attention to college football knew that. Yeah. Now how you are a fashion plate, you are the fashionista of the how we car radio network. Did you get a glimpse of the tie in the ensemble from Dr. Oh, I said that yesterday. I said it was like Billy Bulger used to say at the St. Patrick's Day breakfast. How long do you have to wear that before you win the bet? He's getting a lot of pushback on that. Obviously, the bigger story is the foyas and the foyer lady who hated doing her job, which was responding to foyas. But the, that was a modified lumberjack shirt and a Kmart, blue modified lumberjack shirt and a green Kmart tie. The color scheme was just, and, and you know what's really crazy is that he went into that, and you really get a sense of the arrogance of, of hacks who have been in this for decades. He really did not understand the seriousness of that game. I, I, I thought all these guys, I know Fauci and Occan class and some of these people, they, they made a ton of money on, on, on getting the patents on some of the stuff that they, that they invented on government time with government resources. I mean, is this guy didn't get any of the, any of the, the cash that was being handed out at NIA? Why do you say that? Because of the suit? Yeah, because he was dressed, why was he dressed like that? Some people just like, I find old doctors dressed loud like that. My dad said his suit looked like it was that, that bad? Tellows. Yes. Do you remember tellows? Yeah, I sort of do. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't know what that was, but he said it was an old store that people used to go to. But yeah, there was a lot of takeaways from his strange performance, and I really do think that in his mind, he thought I could just say I was just kidding. It was all meant to be funny, and that people would just move along. But I think based off what I saw from that hearing and the fact that Democrats were giving him a hard time, this is only the beginning for doctor. They were left wing Democrats, too. And they did a really good job. They were disgusted by him and his incompetence. Yeah, I mean, this isn't like, as bad as it was to let the male serial rapist into the prison that would play in those cuts earlier, that's like one thing, one event. They ruined the entire society. Yeah, and then he says, I don't think I saw a federal paper in my 26 years at the NIH. It's like, or you know what, how he's a nice little cop out for people, what I from what I know of what a federal paper is. So right there, it's like, you can't catch him on anything because he just didn't know what a federal he didn't know what the markings were. It all goes back to Hillary Clinton, but he's even sloppier somehow. Hey, I wanted to remind people that next week we have the birthday remote. It's filling up really fast. So they they did a man in the street interview at Fox about about Trump's visit to the Bronx tonight at six o'clock. And let's play let's play cut 16.
