The Agriculture Department says the meat from a single-second dairy cow was not allowed to enter the nation's food supply, and beef remains safe to eat. The virus has been found in dairy cattle in nine states and in milk. It has also prompted the slaughter of millions of chickens in turkeys. But its presence in beef is a new development for the outbreak, which began in 2022. Health officials say two farm workers at dairies in Michigan and Texas were sick and bibird flew this spring, but the danger to the public remains low. I'm Norman Hall. Federal prosecutors have asked the judge overseeing the classified documents case against Donald Trump to bar the former president from public statements that pulls a significant imminent and foreseeable danger to law enforcement agents participating in the prosecution. The request follows a false claim by Trump that the FBI agents who searched his home were authorized to shoot him. An American missionary couple have been killed in Haiti gang violence and gunfire erupt routinely on the streets of Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince. Missouri state representative Ben Baker says his daughter Natalie 21 years old and her husband Davey Lloyd, full-time missionaries in Haiti were killed Thursday night. He says they went to heaven to gather. Lloyd's sister says she and her brother grew up in Haiti. Their parents are full-time missionaries there. She says the couple and the Haitian director of the missions in Haiti organization were ambushed by gang members as they left a church and later shot by another group that attacked the home they tried to hide in. In families in Uvaldi, Texas took more legal action on the second anniversary of the Rob Elementary School attack that killed 19 students and two teachers pursuing meta platforms which owns Instagram, the maker of the video game Call of Duty, and the maker of the assault rifle used in the shooting. This is AP News. A town in Thailand's had enough of the monkeys that have descended on it, Charles D'Ezma has the story. Run ragged by its ever-growing population of marauding wild monkeys, La Puri, has launched an offensive against the Simeon raiders using trickery and the ripe tropical fruit rambutan. The authorities had baited cages with the animal's favourite food. There was early success with some of the macaques falling for the rambutan roots ending up trapped. Wildlife official Pateropol Manillon says, "Given the monkeys' intelligence, if some of them go into the cage and are caught, the others outside won't enter to get the food because they've already learned what's happened to their friend, the roaming monkeys have long been a symbol of the town on our major tourist draw, but they become increasingly aggressive.
