"AP News, I'm Ben Thomas." Russian missiles swam into Ukraine's second-largest city this morning, killing seven. Karan Chama says a report. Ukrainian firefighters battled ablaze on a building in Had Kyiv that caught fire from the Russian strikes. The attack comes as Kyiv's army labored to hold off an intense cross-border offensive by the Kremlin's larger and better-equipped forces. The sound of 15 explosions reverberated around the city of some 1 million people. The president, Vladimir Zelensky, called the attack extremely cruel and expressed renewed frustration at not getting enough air-defense systems from the West to prevent such barrages. I'm Karan Chamaas. Two U.S. officials tell AP more military aid for Ukraine will be announced tomorrow. The Israeli military says it's completed a two-day operation in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Health Ministry says 12 Palestinians killed. At the White House, President Biden thanked Kenyan President William Ruto for deploying a police force to Haiti to help quell gang violence. Haiti is in a area of the Caribbean that is very volatile. There's a lot going on in this hemisphere, and we're in a situation where we want to do all we can without us looking like America once again is stepping over and deciding this is what must be done. And Sagar-Magani reports the Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit against ticket master and live nation. The suit accuses them of running an illegal monopoly over live events in America, suffocating their competition and jacking up ticket prices. It is time to break it up. Attorney General Merrick Garland detailed a string of anti-competitive practices, including long-term deals to keep venues from choosing rival ticket companies and threatening venues who don't use ticket master.
