This is AP News. I'm Rita Folley. The jury is expected to get the Donald Trump Hush Money trial today. First, the judge will instruct them on the law. The AP's Julie Walker is covering the trial in New York. The jury will weigh 34 felony charges against Trump, stemming from what the prosecution says were falsified business records to cover Hush Money payments to possibly sway the election. Jurors don't have to find Trump guilty on all counts, but they will have to agree either way on each charge. At Manhattan Criminal Court, I'm Julie Walker. There'll be more thunderstorms across the Northeast today and from Montana and North Dakota to Central Texas. Strong storms pummeled Texas yesterday, leaving one person dead and knocking out power to about a million homes and businesses. Overseas, it's the heat. People in Northern India have been struggling with an unrelenting week-long heatwave. There's forced schools to close in some places and raised the risk of heat stroke for laborers working outdoors. Some parts of India's capital New Delhi have reported up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The extreme heat has coincided with a six-week long general election, increasing health risks as people wait in long lines to cast their vote. I'm Charles Villatasma. Back here in the U.S., a natural gas explosion blew off the front of a building in downtown Youngstown, Ohio, say, authorities. Two people were missing and seven were injured. Firefighters had to help some people get out of the building, which has a bank on the ground floor and apartments on upper floors. President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are stepping up their reelection pitch to black voters. They'll launch a new black voter outreach effort during a visit to the battleground state of Pennsylvania today. The two will stop at Gerard College in Philadelphia with a predominantly black student body. This is AP News. No view of Manhattan hinge this time, the AP's Norman Hall, with what this is all about, and why some in New York are disappointed. Twice per year, New Yorkers and visitors are treated to a phenomenon known as Manhattan hinge, when the setting sun aligns with the Manhattan street grid. The sun sinks below the horizon, framed in a canyon of skyscrapers of the city's broad east-west streets. But Tuesday's view was ruined by clouds, disappointing these photographers on 42nd Street. It's okay, guys. It's going to pass. We've got time. It's going to let you know. It's never happened. I've seen it blow in the last second. I've never seen it blow away. It's depleted. It's going to stay in a fine album. It will occur again on July 12th and 13th, the alignment was coined Manhattan hinge by astrophysicists Neil deGrasse Tyson, head of New York's Hayden Planetarium. I'm Norman Hall. And I'm Rita Foley, AP News. Rapid expansion. We're ready. Economic crisis. We're good. Worker shortage? Good. AI. Got it. What if a celebrity buys the company? Depends on who it is. But we're good. What if a global internet outage sends us back to the Stone Age? We're good. Anything can change the world of work. Maybe the world turns into one of those zombie shows. Which one? Any of them. Relax. We've got ADP. From HR to payroll, ADP designs forward-thinking solutions to take on the next anything. ADP. Always designing for people. Here in America, work is in trouble. We've offshored our manufacturing, sent away good jobs, and lost so much ability to make things. American Giant is a company that's pushing back against this tide.
