President Biden in Paris noted the daring rescue. Meanwhile, Gaza Health officials say Israeli strikes have killed nearly 100 Palestinians. Reporters saw dozens of bodies being brought to area hospitals. In France, the D-Day anniversary observances are wrapping up, with President Biden being hosted with a state dinner in Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron threw a translator. There was an extra D-Day 80th anniversary event, a 100-year-old U.S. veteran married his 96-year-old sweetheart in the Normandy region of France.
