As far as the fire is concerned, two firefighters were taken to a hospital due to heat exhaustion and both are in stable condition. Federal officials say they intend to keep borrowing costs high for as long as needed to curb inflation. Inflation can be seen in various places in the economy, including housing costs, as well as higher rates for car insurance and medical bills. Federal officials say they expect inflation to cool eventually, but they also say they're prepared to keep interest rates high for as long as it takes to bring inflation down.
