Yeah, we won't lead off with that, though, because you know, people kind of complain. They don't like that we talk about non wrestling stuff at the beginning of the show. So we'll jump into the wrestling, but yeah, well, sometimes it's polarizing, I think. But I mean, but yeah, later in the show, I'm going to definitely give you my thoughts on Joey Chestnut being banned from the Nathan plot on getting contest and then them also announcing the Netflix Kobayashi showdown. So please give me my thoughts on that. I got a lot of thoughts there. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. I'm excited to talk about it. I saw my Joey Chestnut autograph that you got me. It's right here. Let's we'll get into things since people don't like our non wrestling team. 20 minutes talking about the NBA finals, which is basically over at this point. Here we go. WWE. I need to finish the story in the WWE, the story never finishes. Big show clash at the castle this weekend. Two big title matches. Shire sound spares says Cody's mom flying out to Scotland for an I quit match. It's over. I'm in agreeance. I think AJ Styles should win. I don't know if they'll utilize Cody's mom in the finish. My theory or my prediction was aren't Anderson comes out and throws in the towel for Cody. That's what I think should happen. But if he comes in and throws the towel for Cody, are you thinking that leads to him managing Cody in the WWE again, because that's kind of very good intro back is like he kind of screwed. I know he's saving Cody in that scenario, but like he's also kind of screwing him right because like there's no way Cody's going to say I quit. So like. Well, that's I don't think Cody's going to say I quit either, but I think they should win this match, but I don't know how you get to you have to do some type of screwy ish finish. Now Shire sounds first mentioned Cody's mom is flying out there. That could be the finishes. She gets threatened. They do that a lot with the he'll baby face dynamic with I quit is threaten the family. And that's how the baby face says I quit. That's why I think that I think that aren't coming out and kind of throw it in the towel. And maybe the mom plays in, you know, Mama Rose plays in the factor of that of like Cody even Cody won't say I quit, even though his mom's being threatened, Cody being a terrible son still will not quit. So aren't has to come in and be like you idiot, you better save your mother and he says I quit for him. Maybe that's how you do it. Yeah, I mean, so obviously I want Cody to retain. I think everyone probably would predict that that's what I want. I want a long pedal run from Cody here, but I've said it before and I said it last week when SB 3 was filming for Jeremy that I have so much respect for AJ Styles and I legitimately view him as a legitimate goat in wrestling like all time best. I don't know if he's number one all time, but like I feel like his name needs to be at least like brought up in the conversation somewhat of Brian Danielson like, you know, if you're from our generation of wrestling fans, I feel like it's wild because like AJ had, I know it wasn't in the WWE, but he had like somewhat of like a Hall of Fame worthy career, like pre WWE, like what do you think about like him carrying TNA? You think about when he did a new Japan, when it's like the world of wrestling outside the WWE, he was for the longest time, at least in my opinion, like he was the biggest star outside the WWE who had never worked for the WWE for like a really long time. He was he was that guy, he could always count on him to have banger matches. And when he left TNA, it felt like that was the end of TNA and like rebranded to impact and everything. So, AJ means a lot and I say all that because if you took all of that away and that never happened, he'd still have had a Hall of Fame career just on his WWE career at this point. You know what I mean? Like that's how good this guy is. So if anyone's going to beat Cody Roach for this title, honestly like AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre replied like the only two people on that roster right now that I'd actually be like, okay, I don't like the idea of Cody losing, but he's gotta lose at some point, right? I don't foresee it being this quick. Now could AJ beat him in a scenario like that? I think it's possible. I think the R&A Anderson idea is a good concept. I think it's possible that that could happen. I know R&A Anderson, you know, he's officially gone from WWE at this point, isn't he? >> A.W. I'm sorry, A.W. Because there was a lot of speculation he was going to be leaving, but it's actually official at this point, right? >> Yeah, May 31st was when his contract ended. >> So I mean, you'd imagine he'd be going back to the WWE for sure, and Cody has literally talked multiple times and interviews recently about the idea of having a coach again. So here's where my arm kind of theory and prediction loses a little steam, even by my own admission. Arn has talked about it, Arn when it was brought up, did mention what he wants to do right now is help his son Brock and take him to Independence, keep having him learn the ropes and everything. He did say he didn't really want to get on a plane. I'm basically saying go on a plane for 14 hours and go to Scotland. And I don't know if Arn really wants to do that. And so I think my arm prediction kind of dies with, I don't think Arn is going to actually travel to Scotland to do this. So I don't think my prediction will come true. I'm just, you know, fantasy booking here of what I think would be a good ending. But if you ask me, do I think this is going to happen? No, and I don't think it's going to happen because I don't think Arn is going to travel. Now as somebody who admittedly, I've talked about this before on the show too, and you know this very well, I do not fly. Last time I went on an airplane was for your wedding, I will never do it again. So like I totally understand that. I actually have had so many people tell me, even just like this past weekend, I went on actually a date over the weekend and like they got brought up about like traveling and like doing stuff. And I immediately like brought up, I was like, I don't, I don't do airplanes like straight up like I could drive places or like road trips and stuff like I don't. And for along with so many other people in my life, they're always like, well, you know, statistically speaking, like you're way more likely to get in a car crash on the way to the airport than you already get, you know, an actual airplane crash. And I'm always like, it's such a stupid statistic if you will always bring up because like we're not all flying around in airplanes, like we were all flying around an airplane to be way more dangerous than all of us drive around in cars for sure. So okay. Let's talk more about this date. Well, any, oh no, it was, we had a good time. It was, it was nice to go nice to go. I actually, I wore my, I wore my young buck super kicks with her time for the day. Oh gosh. Yeah, this was like, we don't have to launch, it wasn't like we're not like to like a ball or clubbing. You got it. I was going to say, do you go to Dave and Buster's dammit? No, no, we didn't go to Dave and Buster's but I thought first date material does. Yeah. It was funny because taking to the palace of David and Buster's right, right. Right. I mean, that's sacred grounds. Yeah. Yeah. And they know me there. So, you know, like it'll be a thing that'd be a good first date, then you'd be super impressive. You know, that you walk in just kind of over in the place. Everyone's like, Oh, Jensen's here. Jensen's here. Yeah. Dap it up the employees. Yeah. Putting up 44 runs on baseball pro. Right. The girls like, wow, you're, you're a big shot here. It's a big shot. I'm in the present. Um, but, uh, it was funny because I was wearing the super kicks and I'm super low key and how I dress. Like, even though this was like a date, it was like, it was like a afternoon thing. So I'm just wearing like, you know, I'm wearing like a nice t-shirt and like, nice shorts, but nothing, nothing expensive. Just, you know, just kind of comfortable looks okay. But I'm wearing the super kicks and that's like the one she's like, I've never seen shoes that extravagant before is what she was like, and I was like, okay, cool. I don't know if that's good or not, but like, I mean, I'm going to rock these. I'm going to rock the hell out of the super kicks. Like, I just, I just got these things. It was the first time I wore them. Anyways, I don't know why I brought all that up. Why were you talking about that? Oh, you mentioned date in planes. And so I. Oh, planes flying on Anderson, aren't Anderson. Um, so I understand the concept of not wanting to get on an airplane at all. It's, and there's, you couldn't pay, there's no amount of good pain to get on an airplane for 14 hours or whatever it is. Um, you know, my, it sucks because like my main thing, I want to visit Japan. Like I want to do that more than like any visit anywhere else. I really want to go to Japan. There's just no way I'm going to ever set on an airplane for that long. It's just, it sucks. I can't do it. Anyways, people are saying extravagant for the shoes. I think that's the word she used these, they were pretty extra. I think it's kind of the way she was trying to say, um, but they look cool. I like them. Um, anyways, I think it's a good idea to pair on and, and Cody on screen again, you know, if both the guys wanted to do that going forward also, like I don't really have a problem with it, but it's not like Cody needs on Anderson for like WWE presentation. At this point, you know, and I mean, he's obviously massively over as he goes to NXT. Um, that was a, that was an interesting stop there. Um, we can talk about that a little bit too, if we want to, it was kind of cool seeing like all the AW people together, what kind of weird, um, ratings tanked. No one cared. Did they really? Yeah. Hey, I, this might break your heart, Jensen. It's my break your heart, but like, you know, AW was up against game three of the finals last night of the NBA finals and AW NXT has a been kind of close with them and viewership the past couple of weeks. NXT got a big pop in viewership last week, you know, Ethan Page appearance, Jordan Grace, sexy red coming there, they had a big pop in viewership the past couple of weeks. So last night, AW was up against game three of the NBA finals this week, NXT was not up against anything. So in NXT, they figured, oh, we're coming off a pay-per-view, got a lot of buzz coming off the pay-per-view, PLE, sorry, sorry, busted open. We're coming off the PLE, we're going to say Cody there. Cody's going to pop this number, ratings went down. Interesting. I didn't know anything about the ratings, I did the, the NXT PLE was head-to-head with the NBA finals that night also, right? Uh, yeah, Sunday night, I think was game three of the, no, no, no, no, yes, yeah, yeah, Sunday. Yeah. The game schedule's been stupid and I'm getting the NHL and NBA schedule is kind of a little mixed up, but yeah, the PLE was against the NBA, but like, that doesn't really matter as much. What is interesting, how like both of those NXT shows kind of back-to-back just also happened to be at the same exact time of like the major main thing, like sporting event that like everyone's paying attention to. It is weird with that schedule, by the way, how they're waiting, they're gapping like the game so far apart from one another, like they should be playing more often, yeah. Or far quicker, turn around, but, um, but here, I mean, as far as like an actual prediction for Clash of the Castle, I'm going to definitely take Cody to retain, but I'm not going to be losing my mind, like people think, I'm not going to freak out how everyone thinks I'm going to freak out if, uh, if Cody winds up losing, because if he loses, he's for sure going to win that back soon. He's going to be the champion for the majority of the time, I mean, he's going to definitely be the champion whenever the rock comes back, like they've already got that set up, whatever that happens. What if the rock just comes back, what if the rock just never comes back? Then I, I mean, then they're going to have to pivot and do something else, but I mean, clearly the plan is for the rock to come back and wrestle Cody. Um, so yeah, I'm going to take Cody, but I like, I, if Cody would have put it this way, if Cody had to lose the match, if they needed to take the title off of it, AJ Styles is one of the few people that I'm having enough respect for that I'd be okay with that. And if they did it in a way like you're talking about, or like our naders, and we're going to throw in the towel or something that actually makes more sense than anything else, because there's no way at this point with where Cody's at in the company and in his character and being, you know, for the kids and all this stuff, like he's definitely not going to quit and not quit, he's not going to be tapping out at all, he's not going to be quitting. Like, if, if any, you know, we're just, you're not going to see him do that. You wouldn't see John Cena quit, you know what I mean? And that's kind of where I was Cody, you know what I mean? If he passes out, I think that's a lame finish, uh, I hope that's not the finish and there's the, they haven't, a lot of people always theorize of, oh, what about the Foley finish? And they haven't actually done the Foley finish. And just like airing like the, like the audio over the speakers, like him saying I quit, but I'm not saying it. Yeah, because Cody said it when he announced the match on SmackDown, he's like, I'm going to make you say I quit, he screamed it. So you could air that audio because they haven't actually done that finish in forever. Cody wants to take chair shots back for the boys as well. So him taking a bunch of chair shots would also, you know, I'm sure he'd love to do that. Oh man, I handcuff him and give him the, that's one of the most brutal for, for newer fans who may not know what we're talking about. Check out the rock and Mick Foley, what, what was the actual year that happened? Do you remember? 99. 99. Um, and that was, I mean, that's some of the most brutal, it's hard to watch, especially now because like Foley's kids, like they're still kids at the time, little kids and they're in the front row like watching it and crying and they got like the footage for, was it beyond the mat? Was that the one that they had the footage for? Yeah. And they, and I mean, it just, it's absolutely brutal the way that the rock just lays these chair shots into Mick Foley's head completely unprotected, but, um, now I'm doubting it was 99 rumble or 2000 rumble might've, it was 2000 rumble, 99, was a triple H and cactus jack and the, uh, hard for match, 2000, 2000 rumble was a rock in, in a Foley or no, that makes sense. All right. Let me actually get this correct, I'm sure the chats like freaking out of like you idiot. 99. I was correct the first time 99 was rock and mankind 2000 was triple H and boy was triple H and Foley. Yeah. Sorry, everybody. No, you're good. Um, I, uh, so yeah, check, I mean, check that out if you want to. That's what Jeremy's referencing. Um, it's really, really difficult to watch, but I mean, still memorable to this day, we're still talking about it. Um, I just feel like that kind of finish would be a lot harder to do nowadays because like, I mean, it's still the same, like business, you know, you could still do it and like, just play it the same type of way, but I feel like in today's day and age, like the entire fan base would just get on Twitter and be like, you didn't quit, like we all know he didn't quit. Like, but like back then, everyone couldn't like congregate on social media to like complain and discuss stuff about wrestling. So we all just kind of had to like deal with it, you know what I mean? I don't think it's a good finish that by the way, the, uh, scream the, because you have to do some way of Cody does get knocked out. And I don't know how you do that nowadays when everyone just kicks out at two. Uh, I don't know how you fully knock them out, unless you do something to the head, sometimes or some type of fall, something brutal, because that's the only way you can do the screaming. I quit. He's got to be fully knocked out. It's the only way you can play the, play the audio of that. So I don't think that's going to be the finish. I don't think it's a good finish. I think at the time, you know, this was 20 years ago over 20 years ago, I think it was a cool finish. It made some sense. But now I don't think it does too much. Yeah. So are you officially taking agent or you're going to actually take Cody? Like, no, I think Cody wins. I, I think hard time seeing Cody losing an I quit match, unless, unless his mom, his mom is there, we know that unless she does get involved and it is, she gets threatened and Cody decides to quit, but I don't fully like that finish. I get it because you can't have never say, I baby face Cody Rhodes, say I quit and really in any other manner. It doesn't feel like anything that happens in the confines of a wrestling match is going to make him say I quit. So it's got to be something of like his family gets threatened. Yeah. Never give up. Cody's an idiot for bringing his mom, honestly, like what's he doing? No, she was there for WrestleMania. Things worked out. WrestleMania night one in the build up to WrestleMania was tough on Mama Rhodes, but. Yeah. But I quit match. What are you doing? Bringing her to that? You know, like, you know that she's going to be threatened in that. Yeah. Unless Brandy's there, if Brandy's there, then okay, then you, he's got some, some backup. Protection. Yeah. I think Cody's going to win. I don't think he should because, I mean, I thought he shot a loss in backlash because I, I don't think he needs the title right now. Clearly the ratings are going in the tank. Lowest viewership on Raw. All right. Now I guess he's on straight trolling territory. This is a sweet poster, by the way. I got to get all the, I'm going to get all the pay-per-view PLE posters for Cody, but the champion chip. So I start seeing more of those behind me. Other stuff going on, excuse me going on at Clash of the Castle. Big one, of course, being Damian Priest, defending the World Highway Championship against Drew McIntyre. I mean, outside of CM Punk screwing Drew, which I feel like would be a really bad idea, especially in Scotland, if Punk's supposed to be the babyface in this scenario, like, it feels like a terrible idea. I, I, I real, I mean, people who follow my stuff know that I'm super high on Drew McIntyre. Like, if Cody wasn't in the WWE Drew McIntyre would be my favorite WWE superstar. Like, I, I love this dude, but I, and I feel like he should just, I mean, he should just win and be the champion. He should be the World Highway champion on Raw. Like, it was really nothing against Damian Priest, but even though it would be a really quick run, I would totally have Drew win and have this moment in front of his home proud and just be the champion. And then whenever CM Punk's ready to come back, you do Drew McIntyre versus CM Punk for the World title. Like, I just feel like it all, it all books itself, but you know what I mean, is that you kind of feel the same way or do you feel like you feel like Damian Priest actually leaves Clash of the Castle as a champion still. We got a super chat from Janna right fast. Janna says, "Bending, Judgment Day from the World Highway title match was silly, made it more predictable with Punk, only way I see Priest losing the title is if Liv shows up the head clash." Interesting. I'm very, very adamant that Drew McIntyre should not lose on Saturday. I think it would be a horrifically stupid decision if he loses because they're already going to have Fire and Dawn lose, I don't think Jade and Bianca are going to lose the tag titles, I know theoretically, Alba Fire, Ilodon could pin Zoe or Shayna so that way Jade and Bianca don't have to lose in the triple threat match, I get it. I still don't think Bianca and Jade are losing. Piper's probably not defeating Bayley, that's probably not a route, they're going. So you're already having two of the hometown people lose. You build up this whole show around Drew, around Drew getting his moment after being screwed over two years ago and then he got screwed over at WrestleMania, this dude just can't keep losing these title matches, he can't lose in this hometown against Damien Priest. I think it would be a terribly bad dumb, idiotic, stupid, imbeciles, don't fret hard on WCW, just a god awful decision if they have Drew lose, so Drew will probably lose, right? I mean, we can't put it past them after when they were in, was it wailed the last time that they did the show? Like that's understandable, like that was a little understandable, like I do I think they maybe should have pivoted it and had Drew win, yes, but that was, that was Roman and Roman was, Roman was Roman, he was hot, like the singing at the end was stupid. That was what I was about to bring up, it wasn't so much about the loss, it was that he lost and then immediately like no sold the importance of losing and I was just like singing with Tyson Fury after, that was very stupid and I think, I hadn't, I just saw like a headline so I might be off, I don't like people who just see headlines and then like think they know their story, like I've, but I'm kind of doing that right now. I probably wrote the story, he says I know where you're going. Did Drew say that like he didn't like having to do that too recently? Yeah, he said that was like the worst moment of his life. I mean, I, which I do feel awkward. I do think part of that might be a little bit of character of yeah, this was really dumb but there's a little bit of truth in every little bit of kayfait. I don't think that Drew liked that moment and I'm sure he doesn't want to replicate that moment. I think it would be stupid if Drew loses. Now, how does he win, Judgment Day's banned from ringside, Jonna Minson, see him punk getting involved and Jonna seems to think that punk is going to screw over Drew. I think punk should fall on his face a little bit and hit priest and he actually get, again, he actually screws up and he's going after Drew but he ends up hitting priest and Drew wins. He just doesn't get involved at all, Drew can just beat this man clean. It's fine but it does seem like punk's going to get involved. He's going to be there in some capacity and he's probably going to try to screw Drew. Maybe he doesn't, maybe he, I don't want to say helps Drew but if I'm punk looking at it from storyline perspective, I know he's a chaos demon. He just wants to screw over Drew and make his life miserable. At the same time, I'm looking at Drew and I'm like, if he's the champion, that's my first match. Why wouldn't I want him to be the champion? Why would I keep screwing him out of the title when he could just be the champion and then I could just win the title from him and I can beat him for the title instead of Damien Priest is still the champion. Oh, I think punk could go two ways on that but I personally would have punk come out kind of distract Drew kind of get involved but he actually ends up costing Priest a little bit more live, could play a factor in this as well potentially but I'm having true win. Yeah, I think that that's actually, that's actually probably the best case scenario like if punk's going to get involved which I'd prefer if he didn't and they just went one on one and Drew just won and had that moment because he's going to be so massively over at the show as a babyface. I mean, it's weird because it's technically two heels wrestling one another in this match but obviously because of where they are, Drew's going to get, he's going to get the hometown reaction big time and Priest is funny because when I watch the show, Priest is still presented like a heel but he's a babyface in contrast to the judgment day. It's weird because he doesn't want the judgment day getting involved in his stuff but he's still doing a heel-ish, you know what I mean, it's like kind of weird, he's kind of in between also but I would not have punk involved at all but if he's going to get involved, I would do it exactly what you were just saying. He tries to cost Drew but accidentally costs Damian either way rating it Drew versus punk when he comes back and you have to believe that Drew's going to be the champion by the time punk comes back so you might as well do it now and then you also accomplish what you're going to with Damian, I feel like also he got the title, he used money in the bank, he got like a taste of what he looked like as a champion, he did a good job for the length of time that it is but like Drew's just the right guy. Gunther having the shot at SummerSlam is kind of a wrench and things because he would think it's Drew and punk for the title at SummerSlam. Maybe punk's not cleared, maybe he won't be cleared by SummerSlam, I don't know, that's still two months away, I would think he'd be back but I have no idea that that would be eight months out by that one but maybe he won't be back in time but yeah Gunther having that shot because he's another heel so you're looking at Priest currently a heel, Drew a heel obviously faced this weekend but overall a heel and then Gunther a heel, it's a lot of heels going into the Summer challenging for the title. I was really surprised when they announced that whoever won King and Queen of the Ring that they had to go after the title of their brand because I really felt like you could have set up Gunther vs Cody for SummerSlam and it would have made perfect sense and said that you're right, it is a weird kind of wrench that it almost like Pigeon hold themselves with that. Obviously they have a plan, so I'm going to be even cooking so I'm not going to sit here and be like they don't know what they're doing, what are they doing, these people are crazy for doing this for that, clearly they have a plan and the other upside to this is that I'm a fan of everyone we're talking about. I like gaming and Priest, I love Drew McIntyre, I love Gunther, I want to see those three guys wrestle one another as world title matches so I'm not complaining from that standpoint but it's kind of similar to AEW where we have so many people and we'll talk about it here and then when we go to the AEW topics but the majority of their top of their card is all basically tweeners, people who could be healed or baby gazes and it totally just depends on who they're wrestling that week but yeah as far as the prediction goes I feel like it's a no brainer, I mean why would you even go to Scotland and do this and not have Drew win honestly, also like why would you have, go over beat the fiend in like 20 seconds, you know what I mean, do you know what actually ruled us when he beat Brock in like a minute at that so it was survivor series when they were promoting the video game, that was actually great, that was sick, anyways anything else in this show you want to go over, I know you I mean I'm with you as far as Bianca and Jay retaining their women's tag titles, I don't expect them to lose and I expect Bayley to retain it for Piper Niven so the only other thing really there is Sami Zayn and Chad Gable, do you think that this is where Gable actually wins the IC title or the same you retain again here or is like Chad leaving the WWE? I think assuming Chad is staying, he should win here because he's already lost to Sami, you know he lost way back when he's a gunter as well, he's failed enough at capture and not capturing him because the Intercontinental Championship so it makes the most sense for him to win here and then Otis will eventually do the turn, Otis is going to get a big pop when he wins or no maybe he doesn't win the title, he didn't get a big pop when he actually does the turn but I would have Gable win here and then continue things for it, obviously if he's not staying he's not going to win but the fact that his contract was reportedly expired and he's still kind of working shows they've got enough faith in each other that they're going to still work together and that they're going to trust Gable in this spot, the contract does make it a little bit more difficult because you don't want to put the title on him if you're not 100% sure that he's going to stay, you can't risk him showing up on Dynamite or something, you know, Wednesday with the Intercontinental Championship or anything but if he wins that would probably be a good sign that they've worked out some type of agreement. Well and I know WWE's done that in the past even with guys who would wind up leaving like Adam Cole is one that comes to mind where like you know when he was going to be leaving WWE he signed like those short extensions to get through like their PLEs so there's a way to do this that's amicable for everybody which is pretty cool like where you know both sides can kind of agree to disagree where it's like I'm it's better for me to leave you know for whatever reason like I don't fit into the exact plan that you guys want but you know like yeah we can still play ball until I leave and not no one has to burn a bridge on the way out you know I'm sure if Adam Cole wanted to come back to them and be they welcome him back with open arms because the way he left was respect on both sides I think that Chad Gable showing up on Dynamite with the IC title would be pretty pretty amazing what you just said it'd be also pretty amazing if because I've been calling for this since all these titles got it got to be too much but you know I've said a thousand times of they should consolidate the continental and international championships in AEW and create the AEW Intercontinental Championship and maybe that's where Chad Gable comes over and becomes the IC champion he's gonna finish his story but this isn't gonna happen to another company but I mean I think it'd be if Chad Gable is staying in the WWE he I feel like he has to win the IC title and if he's not at this show it's gonna be soon because they've been building this since like you know a handful of months before Gunther's reign was even over they've been building Chad Gable the one I see title and now he has the actual heel term in the history with Sami Zayn and everything and Sami Zayn doesn't need the title like it was a good win for him and but Sami Zayn's a made man he's always gonna be over in the WWE system he's always gonna be reliable to be whether it's the opening match or the main event he's always gonna fit in and have good matches and be over so like so yeah I guess at the end of the day if Chad Gable's staying in the WWE I have him win but if he isn't gonna be staying or they aren't sure if he's gonna stay I mean I think it's pretty I'm pretty obvious like WWE's not gonna have him win the title if they don't think he's gonna be around so it's possible that this is where they do the Otis turn and then they do a final let's say that Gable is leaving Otis does the turn here help Sami win you do Otis and Gable on Raw that's how you get Gable off television she loses to Otis but I don't I don't think Gable's leaving I truly don't know I don't know what I guess I should check and see what Sean's kind of latest update on on things are but I I think that what would you say here other than nothing really no it's just WWE obviously interested in retaining Chad Gable oh here was the update this was from June 10th most are just expecting him to stay in WWE well many have assumed that means he's resigned because he announced for Clash the Castle that hasn't been confirmed so yeah it seems like many are expecting him to stay just because he's at Clash of the Castle and maybe it was a short term deal being worked out don't know sources within both them to be in a w assume he's resigned or at the very least remaining with the company so it seems like everyone's expecting him to study if that's the case it should he should win and with Ricochet I think it was way more like it was just nobody's known he was gonna be leading so and that's also interesting with Ricochet is like we're we'll switch over to AEW in a second but you have to imagine Ricochet was watching the main event of Dynamite last night and just like frothing at the mouth he's like oh yeah that's that's about to be to need one more member and then who will AEW's best be what do you think for team AEW just it's tough man because if for one because this is going to be happening on an episode of dynamite right with it being a bridge stone yeah so you know it'd be kind of cool to go to that there's an outside chance I might make the trip to that I doubt I will but I love I live in Nashville as people know and I got a lot of friends there and I love bridge stone arena sort of the predators play so I'll start with team elite real quick because I think that the fifth member for them is going to be hangman page do you think that that's probably where that's going do you have anyone else in mind for team elite before I get to AEW yeah hangman makes the most sense for the elite I don't try to think who is like friends with the bucks that they could bring in for this and I'm struggling up top my head to think of who who could work way bringing from outside AEW or like potentially outside AEW or even somebody in AEW that they have like a long history with that I worked with before who any elder baby I mean I guess if they just want someone we know who's going to take the pinfall I'm just kidding about that I yeah because like most of the options outside the WWE would be people that like or sorry outside of AEW would be people that like are in WWE you know it'd be like Kevin Owens like would be it but like make sense or like those kind of guys Cody I mean obviously that would be crazy but I think that so I'm just gonna guess that on the elite side hangman page is going to be the fifth man and swerve will be one of the members of team AEW which they already pretty much they all but confirm that last night by coming out and trying to recruit swerve and swerve not accepting that and he's currently the AEW world champion so you already have that built in right there hangman on one side swerve on the other side I'm totally good with that and so you got to start thinking team AEW I could see Osprey being a part of that like because I think that him and swerve will have like neutral respect coming out of their match I don't think that Osprey is going to beat swerve for the title but it's just an interesting spot for all that too because like because you got to think of Wembley coming up and I feel like maybe if you have hangman on one side of what into God swerve on the other side swerve continues to be the champion heading into all in in Wembley maybe you have hangman win the Owen and you do a hangman and swerve again at Wembley would be a pretty big match in that in that stadium unless you go with Osprey again versus Swerve which is possible I just don't know why you do that I don't know why you'd have them go back to back like that and have have Osprey lose now and then have him win at Wembley anyway there's there's a lot of ways they can go with all this stuff but as far as like team AEW I'm definitely thinking swerve some kind of dark horses the kind of the back of my mind or guys like Samoa Joe and Hook who are like you know our team now which has actually been pretty entertaining and I think Shabbat is with them too sometimes right because like you hear like the translator hearing the camera which I mean but I also feel like that would be a badass match to eventually have like Shabbat a Hook Samoa Joe and they fight for recruit like one more guy then versus the black hole combat club would be pretty badass if they did that at some point so they're setting up some pretty cool factions and some people that could be involved um FTR is gonna be out I know that Dax had said recently that he's injured and him and cash are gonna be gone for a little while so I'm trying to think of like other people that are a long time AEW that would make sense in blood and guts again. I mean he makes sense for me for me but he's a heel but he doesn't know that he's a heel on screen the Lorentree sub screen um because even a team like that's feuding with Jericho now like private party like in theory they would make sense for blood and guts they had history with the Bucks they are day one AEW people they were hired by the Young Bucks like um but I don't think that they're at that level in the company right now that like they should be in that match you know what I mean so it's a hard MJF I could see Shabbat Allen's first put that out there I could see MJF that's a good call I could see Swerve MJF Osprey then you have to have two more maybe a tag team who do you think who am I missing you got any any other names I mean the acclaims are feuding with them right now maybe they're day one AEW also they started off as singles performers with like no with nothing going for really either of them and then like found one another through AEW pretty much become that tag team so like they're they're they're true AEW I can I can see that yeah um Lucha bros Chitown Spurs mentions it's a good one yeah so it's that's a that's a possibility well I think Billy Gunn should be in there and Billy Gunn should win the whole thing including the AEW title um I think that should 100% happen but you know I don't know if that will happen um I can see the entire death triangle being in there like pack and Vlucha bros potentially because they're all day one AEW um they're trying to rebuild pack you can tell too based on last night I mean but they they've been trying he gets stopped and started constantly since the company started you know so it's probably no but um there's good there's good options though um I mean I can't think of anyone else on team will lead I can't I feel like it has to be hangman unless hangman came back as a babyface and sided with swerve I mean I guess that's possible but I feel like they're kind of better off as like kind of like a fight forever type scenario you know like they're always going to be feuding with one another and you can always come back to that but there is money at some point in them teaming like joining forces but um not yet I don't think I think hangman would just fit really well with the current elite with those guys like he has like a good role there on uh Darby is saying uh you know people are people are saying Darby Darby isn't anything I don't know how banged up Darby is still just from anarchy and urine I guess blood and guts are still a month away so he could potentially be in the match and just not wrestle until the match so that's possible that's a grind you know Brian being in that spot is isn't kind of an easy call uh I'm hoping Brian wins the Owen and so you set up potentially swerve and Brian on the same side in blood and guts heading into all in if that is the direction they're going that's the direction they should go Tony Khan listen to me yeah sorry I'll leave you for a second I think no that was the end of my statement oh that was that was it that was it yeah I uh I mean yeah so we got we got good options I think that uh I think that Darby if Darby's healthy enough I would definitely have him in that match he has history with the elite especially coming out of anarchy in the arena and he's also a legitimate day one aw guy um I guess if it came down to it I would go I don't personally like the acclaimed to the same level as some of these guys I'm about to mention but I think storyline wise or we're at I could see the acclaimed being on team aw I think swerve's gonna definitely be on team aw and then I'll assume they don't go with osprey at that point then and have him kind of doing his own thing and I would go mjf and Darby so it would be the acclaimed they claim swerve mjf and Darby for team aw smaggy saying the bucks suspended hangman for hitting a ref and kayfib why would he team with them because he's a heel and he's gonna come back and they're gonna swerve they've swerved everybody that's the easiest explanation it's like it's spending me still it wasn't back he's been suspended for a long time and they can do some fake nonsense of like you know not even one of those people I think you have to be at a fine baby face or heel you can have that gray area but like I feel like there's a lot of gray area going on um and that that's kind of goes to my point shy townsfurs is like I agree with you in theory but at the same time I mean swerve bloodied up Nick Wayne and you know in his in his gym his home gym and now Nick is the heel like when it comes to that feud like you know like Nick and Christian are the heels when it comes to him versus Swerve and stuff like that it just swerve literally threatened a baby and getting cured you know what I mean like he didn't do anything to repent he didn't do anything to like he just started now granted back in the day Steve Austin similar kind of thing in theory right like Steve Austin was a heel he never really changed anything about himself he just started wrestling heels and like he was getting the baby face pops but he never really had like a turn really um so I get it in Swerve's over I get it he's having good matches I get it like it's not like I'm a Swerve hater I'm actually a fan of his I just think it's kind of strange how he never really had a baby case turn and he acts heelish still and I opinion in a lot of ways so he's the top baby case supposedly oh I think Osprey's the top baby face even though he's aligned with heels allegedly with Don Callis yeah well I think Osprey is for sure like who they want to be their long-term like baby face like like face of their company I'm definitely with you there and I think that Osprey's gonna be the world champion and I think he should win an ad Wembley but maybe it isn't happening this year maybe it's there we're gonna wait till next year to do it I don't know pause our finishers Craig Jericho's the top baby face dude you're not you're not wrong I mean yeah y'all know I'm a Jericho-holic um so I'm I think it's amazing watching I've talked about I think I've talked about with either your sp3 I can't remember but it's just so interesting to watch how he just got he got to the point where people legitimately were telling him to retire like the fans are changing for him to retire they don't want to see him on the show anymore and he just listened to that and was like just leaned into it and it worked like he's very smart for pivoting when he did because now he legitimately is one of the most entertaining things on the show and it's also it gives Brian Keith something to do like I'm a huge Brian Keith fan so like it puts him in a spot or like he's actually got attention big bill coming out of this hopefully will be a main event level guy because I I've said it a thousand times when you're that guy's size and can move like that guy and talk like that guy like I feel like that guy's special so like it's sp3 here sp3 he says um hi guys thanks guys bye guys yeah I love how he's just like giving people advice on all this stuff he's so annoying like it's I even you I think recently we're like talking about how you like this current version of Jericho and like there's no way you would have said that like a few months ago you know what I mean oh I think the Jericho is so fantastic because it pisses people off and um I've always said that if if I like it it's probably not great because I like the dumbest shit in the world so I actually like objectively I don't think it's that good if I'm being honest about that I don't think I don't think it does much for really anybody like big bills big bill and brankey they're like fine in their role but I've also seen this with Jericho who actually gets over when they're aligned with Jericho Sammy can't stay on television which it's that's not really Jericho's fault right that's on Jericho's fault Garcia other people yeah Garcia like they keep trying to heat him up and then they'll just never do it but that's certainly he's so past the Jericho stuff that it wouldn't be Jericho's reasoning if they go further with Garcia I don't think Jericho did anything for Garcia did the teams he was with you know like proud and powerful should have been more when they were with Jericho and they weren't and said they put the titles on or Sammy and Jericho were like the team even though they had proud proud that proud and powerful right there it's I don't think Jericho actually does anything for anybody despite how good I do think big bill and brankey's are in their role I just I don't think they're gonna really benefit out of this and it's so much when you become so meta like they're already doing the meta stuff with the young bucks dirty like dirty weaning into that with them now we're doing it with Jericho as well sometimes I can be a little too much wink and nod going on and I just don't know maybe they'll prove me wrong maybe somebody will come out of this looking stronger and will benefit from this Jericho's history over the past few years isn't great when it comes to actually getting people elevated when you were with him whether you're against him or with him yeah I mean I I don't I mean I don't disagree with what you're saying because there has been Sami's of one case and we talked about that before like Jericho is not responsible for Sammy not being able to stay on TV but like outside of that there is a lot of people that aren't really in great spots coming out of it you know Garcia Shaitown Spurs mentions this and we've talked about this before as well but you know it's known that you know Garcia should have been a part of the black hole combat club when he came into AW and Jericho wanted him for the JAS and you can make the argument whether or not that has turned out good for Garcia like you said they are still trying to heat him back up constantly now when it comes to Garcia I would pair him with that group I was talking about earlier I'd have him as a part of the Hook Samoa Joe Shabbat a group and I'd have them go against the black hole combat club I think that'd be a bad a badass foreign foreign match um but that would be great but then you're getting back into kind of heel babyface stuff and like I think the black hole combat club I love I love every member of that group they got to figure out what that group actually is and they they haven't done a great job always with them despite all the talent yeah no I'm I'm with you it's because it's hard to know like if they're good guys are bad guys like throughout most of their stuff it really kind of just then once again depends on who they're wrestling and then individually it can change too depending on if they're having singles matches and who they're having singles matches again um but you know I uh I hope that it works out obviously for uh you know Brian Keith and for Big Bill coming out of the Jericho feud I think it's a good it's good that you know it's good that they're getting spotlighted on the show both guys so at least they're getting the tv time you know that they weren't getting previously but you know really really to know how it's gonna turn out and tell sure but I think that's the that's almost the issue with it in my mind and I think other people's ones too is getting the wink of the nod oh look I'm getting Brian Keith and Big Bill tv time look at me I'm doing so great by giving these guys tv time private party what were they doing without me they're getting tv time wink wink aha get it but like what does that mean a lot of guys get tv time on a ew that's kind of an issue people have is like too many people get tv time and it it's not necessarily about the tv time you actually get it's about how it's utilized and what you do coming out of all of that stuff so like that's where like I think Brian again Brian Keith Big Bill are doing good in this but is it effective of them just but Brian Keith just being like respect respect respect and Big Bill again he's good in it he's making his jokes he he gets his one monitors in there and like it's fine but what comes out of all of this uh I don't know yet but I'd imagine that it's Big Bill beating Jericho is what eventually you would think but you would have thought that with Sammy defeating Jericho or Garcia defeating Jericho in those groups split and then I'll say yeah came out of that and even if Big Bill defeats Jericho positive finisher is saying like what they did after is up to Tony Con that's true like I'm not placing all this blame on Jericho and saying that oh Jericho didn't help with this I think Jericho's part of it I don't think it's a coincidence that every time you're paired with Jericho again in a feud or as a team what you do after is a downfall and like doesn't actually help you what happened with Jericho doesn't actually elevate you it's happened too often to be like oh it's always Tony Con's fault well seems like Jericho might have a little something to do with it maybe because it's the feuds last too long or because the ending is not the ending that it should be whatever it might be it can't always it can't always be Tony Con but it can't always be Chris Jericho it's clearly a little bit of both of after Jericho there just doesn't seem to be a great plan once the once the Jericho stuff is over but also the Jericho stuff doesn't feel like it hits the way it should and so maybe that's why it's on a great plan so I think it's a little bit of both right now I'm with you I put I put some blame been a really interesting if Jordan would have actually beat Roxanne for the NXT women's title because then I would feel like Roxy would be coming over here to try to get the win back um but since that didn't happen I don't think it'll be Roxy um didn't they didn't they kind of set someone up for yeah Tatum Paxtley Tatum in a backstage segment yeah that's what it was I was blanking on here I feel like I had seen that they were setting up someone so I mean I'd imagine it'll probably just be Tatum unless they're just unless they're doing that to like you know as like a diversion um they have a lot of options I I don't I don't know because like even someone like like Sol Ruka like is someone that like I think has like a super bright future in the debit to be like I don't know if like it's the best option for like her to be the one wrestling Jordan Grace but like they have people that I know are going to be breakout stars that are currently on that NXT women's roster like Sol you know what I mean like so they they have there's plenty of people I'd be excited to to see even someone like Anderson not really an NXT anymore she's really more on like the main roster but someone like Ivy Nile would be a good option you know someone like that I think would be good so um but I'm just gonna go as far as tradition I'll go with Tatum because that seems like what they were kind of hinting at I think Tatum makes the most sense because that was hinted I thought it might be Meachin, Mia Yum previously I still am not fully rolling that out but she's challenging for the NXT women's North American title on Tuesday's episode of NXT don't think they really want to have her I know not everybody watches TNA and so if she loses it's probably not gonna do that big of a deal and people aren't gonna freak out too much I am never a fan of those kind of optics of hey let's have this person lose and then she's going to be challenging for a title on our next show especially when you don't have to do it and this is something they don't have to do they don't have to put Mia in that spot I still again not rolling it out Tatum makes the most sense she's someone who can go there lose the Jordan it'll be fine that be that Maggie saying Natalia Natalia would make some sense as well if she would match yeah and it would be a good match so it could be one of them look it's also possible it's not someone from NXT I know that's what it seems like it'll be but I'm not as I guess I'm not as optimistic about this relationship as I as I was a few weeks ago I'm not saying like it's dead or anything but it seems like they use Jordan they got a good they got some goodwill off of that and if it doesn't continue I wouldn't be super shocked at that I know that Cody said on NXT like oh it could be people from other locker rooms showing up in this 25-man battle royal and then people speculated of oh they're people from TNA gonna be in this battle royal I don't know I don't I don't think it's gonna be this full-on working relationship to the level that AEW has with New Japan or CMLL where guys are just cycling in and out of every single show I yeah I don't think it's gonna be to that degree yeah well so but I feel like there's definitely some sort of relationship going forward still because like like for one to answer a couple of questions if it was someone within TNA I would want it to be Masha Sandovich like just because I'm a huge Masha fan and I think Masha versus Jordan like that's always going to be a great match so I'll just throw that out there for like someone within TNA but as far as the the working relationship I think it was pretty clearly set up where in the North American three-way match it was Obafemi Wesley and Mark Coffey no Joe Coffey I'm Joe Coffey yeah and and and during that match Dallas had the numbers game and Joe Coffey didn't wind up winning but like it was pretty clear that Wesley was out numbered and then Wesley got beat up by Galis after the match like backstage also and I think that's pretty clear that the Rascals are going to be coming in well everyone everyone thought that the new catch Republic just showed up on Tuesday and Pete Dunne and Tyler Beit teamed with Lesley oh I didn't know that in that's interesting I didn't I didn't catch that um yeah but it just it just felt like it was so clear and I know that like Nash Carter was a part of NXT and life but I don't know I don't want to get into all that but I I feel like the the door was open for the Rascals to come back is what it felt like that's what they were setting up everyone thought that's what they were setting up and I think that's why they quickly made the announcement because they did this on Raw really after Raw but they had Dunne and Beit say hey we're coming to NXT and then Tuesday they did the six-man tag Galis won the six-man tag maybe it's still Rascals come in but I think I don't think they wanted to sit on any type of tease and speculation any further and so they were like hey here's new catch Republic so people can stop speculating that it's the Rascals this is why um a little less optimistic because that seemed like it was a door open Joe Hendry you know they're kind of referencing him they they're drew McIntyre came out on Raw and McAfee said say his name and he appears they did the same thing on NXT Vic Joseph someone came out I forgot I forgot who came out it might have been Klani Jordan or or Tatum somebody came out on on NXT and Vic Joseph was like oh say her name and she appears like they're they're dropping that little hint out there Joe Hendry was just trading training with Natalia in Florida at the dungeon 2.0 so like they're dropping that little hint of maybe but until it like happens like we've seen Jordan and that's that's been good but until we see someone go the other way which could happen as early as tomorrow when and the NXT talent answers the open challenge or nothing they happen and I just don't want to I'm not going to get my hopes up over someone appearing because we've seen how things sort of go in these WWE partnerships and they're not it's not bad or anything but they're not like super long lasting it's like all right we'll give you somebody maybe someone comes over here and that's the end of it there's no real long-term thing with with this you know Charlie Dempsey went over to pro wrestling Noah did a couple matches that was it Macamore went over there did one match that was the EO skies going to Mario Gold that might be it Jordan just that the rumble came in that was good now she's done a little bit more and so people a little bit more optimistic but I'm not going to get my hopes that high yeah now I'm with you we'll see what happens yeah I do think just on the topic of Joe Hendry I think he would be you know a great fit in the WWE system like if they could get him even even if it was just short term just to like see how he did there but like I feel like he's one of those guys if his deal if and when that runs up in TNA like I think he would do really well in the WWE system with his size athleticism is his charisma and is I think that that system he'd really thrive in um so um but yeah as far as like against a lot do you have any other anything else you want to say as far as like predictions or anything real quick um moose and that hardy is not a great main event yeah I'd imagine moose is going to retain there the rest of this show does it feel super like I'm excited for yeah I feel like there was a lot of buzz because like people speculate myself included about the involvement of NXT in this as a matter of fact I was so caught up in the hype that on the weekend or on the Sunday I base I create a guy confused and thought that it was like an actual pay-per-view like that this wasn't one of their impact pushes I thought it was actually a pay-per-view coming up because of like all the hype in the cross the cross promotion and whatnot but um as far as other stuff like I mean I think the rascals versus Santana and Mack one's gonna be a banger of a match I am like rascal uh yeah I think that's a really good one I mean Eric Young and Josh Hausander versus Austin and Bay will be good like there's good matches on the show trend seven versus mr. Fauley um so I mean there's good matches on the show I I will watch the show on uh with tomorrow night so I'll I'll watch the show um but kind of an underwhelming card but it'll I don't have good matches for the most part it's interesting because I'm probably the least excited about moose versus hardy then everything anything else in the show and that's the real title match it's kind of a before I did Oreo eating contest with the great Matt Granigan last year yep what were your thoughts when you heard this news so I've gone through a rollercoaster of emotions over this for people who don't know I have met Joey Chestnut multiple times um I don't want to go bring everything but most of the stuff I've displayed at one point or another but I have I have pictures with Joey that I've actually gotten like like gotten printed out and then had him sign at future meetups I have a hot dog Funko pop that I had him sign um I I've had him sign uh mustard models and all these he's a great dude he's a super nice guy and he's legitimately you people can make fun of the idea of this but he's the best in the world at something like legitimately the best of all time in the world at something which I think no matter what that is it's impressive to be the best of all time in the world at anything and uh his thing is that he can put down 70 plus hot dogs you know on the 4th of July now for people who don't know the lore here Kobayashi is the guy who kind of like popularized the contest for the 4th of July Nathan's hot dog eating contest um back when he was the the man I'd have to look because it's been a long time since I've looked at anything else to Kobayashi to be honest but his numbers were probably in like the 30s maybe the 40s when he was on top Joey Chestnut's record I believe is 76 right now um but he's he's teetered around like 74 75 76 on multiple years what essentially wound up happening is Joey Chestnut came in years ago probably at this point already oh definitely over 10 years maybe about maybe closer to 15 years ago he came in he beats Kobayashi and Kobayashi kind of like loses his mind and he starts this feud with major league eating and becomes kind of like the uh I've tried to think of like a sport so like a wrestling wrestling rep for uh uh people definitely have have they'll be able to put comparisons together but like basically he he was like banned from MLE or whatever and had like this feud with them and then started showing up like in the crowd and to like to heckle them pretty much like while like he was like this and he tried to start his own his own hot dog eating thing like to compete against them and it didn't work out so Kobay basically once Kobayah once a chestnut came in he basically just ruined Kobayashi's career because Kobayashi could not be Chestnut and he couldn't get back into the contest and he was basically persona non-growth for for the hot dog eating contest going forward Kobayashi so now we're at where we're at 15 years later whatever and the only time Chestnut has ever lost this contest was there was one year where Matt Stoney beat him who's also an American who also is a really really highly ranked eater it has been for a long time um so for all intents and purposes outside of one off year Joey Chestnut has been the hot dog eating king of the world for the last like 15 years or whatever um the way that I had imagined this went down is and I don't know I haven't honestly haven't looked too into it since the news came out about these changes but what what I'm guessing happened is like Joey Chestnut took a massive offer from Impossible Foods like like something he couldn't refuse no I mean because when you think about it Chestnut does one big thing a year which is the hot dog eating contest the rest of the year he's like got sponsorship deals and stuff but he's just going like locally like flying around and doing like I'm seeing him eat like a whole bunch of mac and cheese and a whole bunch of tacos and stuff and who knows how much he actually gets paid to do that kind of stuff so Impossible Foods probably gave him a you know multi-year multi- multi-million dollar deal and he would have been an idiot not to take the amount of money it life-changing money to endorse this brand so he probably decided okay I'm going to take this then I think the point of contention was Nathan's was okay with Joey being endorsed by Impossible Foods but they did not want him endorsing the Impossible hot dogs specifically and Joey's probably like they're not going to give me the money unless I'm promoting the hot dogs like that's kind of the whole thing I'm the hot dog guy like I'm going to endorse the hot dogs and they're giving me X a million amount of dollars and you guys don't pay me I think you get paid like 200 grand or whatever you do the hot dog eating contest for Nathan's I guarantee this deal with with the Impossible Foods completely dwarfs whatever he was making for Nathan's so he would have been an idiot to not do that so then they're like we'll screw you then like if you're going to endorse their Impossible Hot Dogs and you're not allowed in our contest and he was like okay I'll pick the bag and then we'll just sign it my his agent probably called Netflix who's obviously they have the deal with raw now they have deals with Jake Paul they're trying to do live sports and stuff like that live live content and they were like okay cool then we'll promote our own hot dog eating contest Joey Chestnuts bigger than the contest itself like there there's going to be massive backlash on the 4th of July like they're they're going to see him punk chant that thing to death I mean it's going to be they're going to hijack that show it's going to be people just cheering for Joey Chestnut last year because of the weather it got rained out and Joey Chestnut was like no we're still doing this whether whether it's official or not and they wound up still doing the contest Joey Chestnut is this is the contest Nathan's should have figured out a way to figure that out with him because I don't put this on Joey I put this on Nathan's because I get I get Nathan's position if this things went down how I explained but at the same time like you have no and I'm a fan of I'm a fan of these competitors so like it sucks also because like someone's going to win the contest this year and they'll be the first champion in a long time that is in Joey Chestnut but them and everyone involved is going to know you're not really like you didn't beat Joey for it though so like you you know it's not it's not the same you didn't be the man to beat the man you know what I mean um so last thing I'll say about it real quick is you know Joey Chestnut has defended our country for over over a decade um and for them to shun him from Independence Day hot dieting contest with his status is absolute travesty and the new um the new Independence Day in my mind is now September 2nd which is the day that Joey Chestnut will be defending our country once again against Kobayashi and he is going to destroy Kobayashi's not going to be able to hang even close I think Kobayashi puts down maybe around 40 chest that goes 70 plus on him just stunts on him in front of the world oh dude he's gonna it's gonna be a complete blowout but um but uh yeah if if you're American you should be a Joey Chestnut fan I'll put it that way do you think that Nathan's comes in last minute and gets an agreement with Chestnut to come I think they are scrambling massively to try to figure something out with them right now because if he's not a part of that contest on July 4th they're screwed their whole brand is gonna and I mean it's not like Nathan's gonna go out of business they're like the most established hot dog brand ever right but like I but the contest is toast like yeah no one's gonna care and once again anyone who shows up to Coney Island to watch is just gonna be chanting Joey Chestnut like the don't be audience channel for CM Punk you know what I mean it's the same it's gonna be the same type of thing it's some it's the it's the kind of look Nathan doesn't want and he isn't gonna get a ton of backlash over this whole thing once again I get their position to a degree they don't want a competitor being represented being represented especially when your like Joey Chestnut is the beef hot dog eating world champion of all time in history and now he's endorsing you know plant based food or whatever which is the complete like that's the complete enemy of Nathan's beef hot dogs is like they're trying to get people to stay on their hot dogs and not move over to the impossible food so like I get it but at the same time I don't blame Chestnut for taking that money it's like the the streamers I'm always talking about or like I might like watching somebody on Twitch because I've watched them on Twitch for years but they're not gonna be mad if they take a multi-million dollar deal from YouTube to just go over there and do the same thing and now they're they're got generational wealth you know what I mean like I'm not gonna blame someone for taking money like that so um Joey Chestnut is a is an American hero I feel like he was wronged by by Nathan's but you know he'll still stun on the world and he'll he if it timbers Kobyashi one-on-one on Netflix September second he's going to destroy Kobyashi it's not gonna be close all right let's get to the Indies real quick i'm gonna give a big mother fucking shot out kevin ku and mayo Yamashita from P.O.P. family reunion hard hitting affair kevin ku picked up the victory and then called out Raj Desi gender Mahal that's going down uh we've been a month it's at uh ELP uh I forget the name screaming something yeah Trevor Lee's also as well uh okay thanks Trevor Lee the former Cameron Grimes for those of you who mean i mean i know um who of course was Trevor Lee before he was Cameron Grimes but old habits old habits die screaming july 27 there you go ELP always has the creative creative names for their shows um yeah so the main thing i want to talk about this is kevin ku calling out Raj i'll probably refer to him as gender Mahal or some people who i'm talking about but um so i thought it was interesting because you know kevin calls him out which i think is badass i'm obviously a huge kevin ku fan he is the current rainy defending ELP heavyweight champion um also one half of the best tag team in the role of answers forever along with Don McGreeny shout out to B.I.F. but what i thought was pretty funny is gender Mahal got on twitter after the call out and said who the fuck is kevin ku and so i made sure to respond because everything is coming together now and i was like he is gender ku is actually the most recent winner of a fujabi prison match so you should know who this guy is um for people who don't know kevin ku and don McGreeny won a fujabi prison the bcpb is prison no the real deal right so this is a bit of a uh warehouse um but uh he won a fujabi prison match along with kevin ku sorry kevin ku and don McGreeny won won uh and gse we used joe joe joe joe's spring break this year over usill mania weekend for the collective so um kevin ku you know he he got to achieve a lifelong dream of competing in a prison match which he publicly said he always wanted to do fujabi prison um he won that match and now he gets to wrestle you know a guy who is not the innovator of the match because that was great colleague technically but a guy who was competed in fujabi prison when he was dubby to be champion that being gender Mahal so you have two veterans of the fujabi prison match going one-on-one um for the BOP championship and here's the thing i don't know what gender's uh indie status is going to be like if he's trying to work because like when he left adeba to be the first time before he came back for this run that he was on he didn't really he wasn't on my radar at all like he left adeba to be after like a three-man band stuff and like i don't remember him having an indie career of any kind he might have maybe done some stuff in canada i didn't know about but like he came back just like ultra jacked you know just like and then got to be him to champion um but i'm interested to see what his indie run looks like or if he's gonna wind up in other companies and stuff but if mikey blanton and those people over at blp have an indication that gender's gonna be there for their foreseeable future like they're gonna lock him down for a few shows i can see gender potentially even beating kevin too for the title like i know that mikey's a big fan of his um and i know Brett Lauderdale is too i know he's trying to get him for gcw so i think gender's going to have a presence outside the divot w but obviously as a kevin too fan i think it'd be a big feather in his calf and a great name on the resume if he could offend the blp championship and win over general hall so i hope ku gets to win but uh i think it's badass he's getting that match at all and that's uh that's been made official by blp and then mike santana an amazing red from mike santana's Puerto Rican weekend which shows house of glory that's on triller tv big celebration uh in mike santana put that on the show or put that show together we had him on in the weeds couple weeks ago but that main event between him and amazing red which think of it it was a banger that crowd was super hot from the start of the show to the end of the show and especially for the main event which you know that's the goal on all these shows you want the main event to be a you know the main attraction obviously um but sometimes it's tough right when you go through like a long show and you're super hot throughout the whole thing and then like you get to the end of the show maybe you're burned out and you've seen everything and these indie shows they do all the moves and all the spots and all the stuff that wasn't the case for this like the show was a banger and then they got to the main event and they were louder from the main event than anything else you know it's from the from bell to bell they were super into it um the match was awesome there was multiple times towards end of that match i thought it was over like amazing red hit like a code red that got kicked out of and hit like a double stomp and a frog slash got kicked out of Santana with some reversals um had to hit a couple of their discus lariat put right away and the fans were hanging on to every move and popping for everything as it was happening um amazing red i've said a thousand times you know he's one of the main reasons i got into indie wrestling in the early 2000s like i had given him so much credit he's such an innovator and a lot of the current wrestlers you see on today's tv if you were to ask them some of their favorite wrestlers to emulate or who they were fans of people that were innovative outside the box a lot of them would bring up amazing red um and Santana is kind of proving his worth still right like i mean he left a aw because it felt like he wanted more for himself especially as a singles competitor and he's killing it in hog he's killing everywhere he's been at you know post-aEW so i thought the match was awesome um it's cool to see Santana retain again and amazing red like hog literally wouldn't even exist more than for amazing red so like it's just cool seeing those two guys in that main event a crowd responding how they responded it was a banger match in Santana's silly hog yeah amazing red we've talked about him on the show before but when you talk about guys who innovated and guys who a lot of people are still influenced by amazing reds at the top of that list and good on i love seeing Santana succeed he's uh he's fantastic so a super nice guy every time i've had him on the show yeah just look at look at someone like roxy or rock rock sand you know like she does the pop rocks move i mean i said that's a co-red i mean john cena stole the co-red straight up from i mean like that like amazing red didn't you know obviously didn't innovate the sunset flip but he innovated the co-red the like the the pop version that he does of it um in a lot of people emulate that move to this day i mean in a lot of his stuff so he's yeah amazing reds the man and Santana's doing great stuff too so i got a clock with a huge job before i'm late i'm very talented late but you know not too late yet um he has to follow me on uh x at fight past someone actually knew before they even got into the wrestling business to you a little bit which is really cool i've seen the whole journey at this point we are joined today by the six foot bombshell jemma jules jemma how are you how are you then if you join me hi yeah it's so weird like you knew me before and also i knew um you before you worked for fightful or anything when i was just doing interviews on your own podcast that you reminded me of which i forgot that i'm not technically like this isn't yours technically so i i you know i'm confused yeah it isn't well we're on the fightful platform so that's right that's definitely which is so awesome so we both kind of grown i love that um but yeah thank you so much as i mentioned uh for having me back um i this would probably be like our fourth interview maybe give or take yeah something like that i think the last time that we spoke was an interview that it was an audio interview at a deep style show at dawson barbeque in atlanta on that's up on fightfulselect.com for anyone who wants to check that interview out um that was already i mean i mean that was over a year ago i remember doing art a year off of that yeah it was it was a little while ago i feel i can no i can double check here we go we're about to hit a year at dawson actually our dawson bursary show for deep south is saturday if that gives you any inclination so yes i was there okay it was it was september it was september of last year yeah feels almost that way right yeah so i mean that was a really cool event um i like the the venue a lot about scarbeque outside yeah um but gets really good turnout um there's like fireworks and stuff like it was a whole it's a whole production that was surprised to me too i didn't know about the fireworks you didn't know a lot of people so it was awesome and the event i was at um you know like i got an interview with nick patrick while i was there that was really cool yeah he was there uh eric bischoff was there there was like a lot of people that were there like that one yeah bischoff was there it was like our media day show kind of thing that we did yes we wanted there was a lot of fun it was a lot of fun and and everyone was super uh like welcoming of the media there there's a lot of people there like myself trying to get interviews and everyone was super cool so yeah we wanted everybody there that day for sure how's your overall experience been with these styles um it's been amazing i even forget how many years it's it's honestly been since i've been there but i think uh maybe like almost three i didn't i had to guess it feels like forever but it's been a great experience and nick is just a wealth of knowledge and it's it's really interesting being out there like with um you know his trailer where literally jody hamilton's cigar is is sitting there in the ashtray still and just to see all the different like memorabilia and stuff and like it's just nuts um and you forget how much that nick knows half the time you know what i mean because he'll just him like teddy long i've always said you know kind of just puts things out there um that you're like damn i never would even thought of that he was there too yeah yeah so it's great very supportive of all of us and very helpful he was super super nice also like i remember like i was just trying to do maybe like three five-minute interview to something i'm talking for like a while and like he was super super nice so i want to throw that out there um nick patrick that was cool because i was a fan of his as you know the wcw you know the crooked referee and the nwa as a kid so like that was awesome i started biting parker was there too he looks like uh kenny powers in those days like literally that i saw a picture i really did and i told him i was like look i don't know you're not gonna get this but i i didn't even recognize him in the photos when it said people i may know it has his old nwa photo so i'm like that looks like tommy dreamer and then that looks like kenny it was so weird but he's got the curling mullet i mean it is you know oh that would that would be a great gimmick though you're fucking out just throw them out of the range so you're fucking out of here right right absolutely i would love it it'd be great i want to ask a very very generic basic question but how did you get started in in pro wrestling and training in pro wrestling um yeah there's not really any special story about how i got into it i think i i just was um uh you know channel surfing is kind of how i did and just always uh you know knew that it would be inner i would be entertained if i watched it whatever it was uh because i i recognized even stone cold at that age i think because like i had friends with brothers into it but anyway u_s how i got into it um or how i you know that started i uh it was always kind of in the back of my mind and then when um total divis prepared for mirror excuse me on e it kind of reignited that love for it and i saw that like the women were doing more and they weren't all looking the same and doing you know laundry pillow fights and things and it was different um and i still longed to do it and i still thought damn i always wanted to do that and um search for schools but i can never find anything um in my general area in in atlanta at least uh nothing would come up so i would google schools randomly at times and nothing still come up and then one day a school came up actually and uh it was owned by a w superstar um that it cosigned on it so i thought this might be my shot and uh i went there um and just started right away i was 27 years old yeah and it's six and a half years uh next month nice well now i gotta ask about total divis because that's a show they i think a good number of people give it credit but i also don't think it gets enough credit for like how many new fans it actually introduced to the sport so like when you watch total divis what what did you make of it knowing what you kind of knew already about wrestling um well personally i loved the divas i didn't mind the laundry pillow fights and the gravy matches on Thanksgiving or what have you because i i loved that kind of stuff and because they did that it paved the way you know Tori Wilson was my favorite growing up like i can't say anybody different that's who stood out to me and i love her to death and i got to meet her and it was insane i that's one i definitely got excited for so um but i mostly made of it i really took to the bell twins and um also just kind of saw a lot of behind the scenes of what WWE was essentially a lot about their company a lot about how they put the shows together and how things go back there and it just it really just ignited that interest further and further because i was always into it i just kind of fell off stop watching for a little bit when i was a teenager and then went back and it was always a back and forth thing but what actually got me told you's got me watching wrestling on tv again but then it was just just for the women and then next thing you know i'm recording it and i don't want to fast forward anything so then i'm like all right i'm into this again whenever i remember talking to you around the time that you had started training and you have learned like a lot really quickly like because you you weren't i don't want to like put words in your mouth but you weren't like one of those like internet wrestling bands as far as like all the backstage like terminology and stuff like that going into it so like so like i remember you telling me like you're like i didn't realize the bell is like weren't that good of wrestling i just liked them but i didn't realize like they weren't that good you know what i mean like like i didn't realize like it wasn't them specifically i remember what you said but um no i mean everybody has their own style but i wasn't a super fan to the point that i understood all about it so i was like when somebody would say yeah they're not actually a good wrestler or this person is not a good right and i'm like really because i'm thinking if you're saying you know you're obviously good unfortunately that's not always the case anymore but sometimes it's not about that it's just about characters so uh but yeah that that was so funny to me too because i thought remember i told you i thought that like indie wrestling was for losers in their back yard it was all backyard wrestling like i literally that's what i thought i had no idea what the independence were at all yeah i i remember because i remember too like what was it like kind of hearing like these terms like kayfabe and all those kind of stuff for like you know people are talking like you know carnie speak and you're like what are they what what are these i remember you starting to say this kind of stuff when we were talking and i could tell you it just like learn these words so it was so it was so interesting to me no yeah no that's i it was um weird obviously it's like you know the first day um a lot of my childhood was ruined just like oh man that's how they do it yeah like i you know so i was kind of bummed out at first and obviously it's a i'm i'm not believe it or not i'm not really an afro natural athlete i have um size and strength um it but i you know i'm actually not the most athletic person so this really took a toll on everything about me literally everything but i i wouldn't change it at all very happy i do moving forward with your your training uh can can we say who the former wcw person was or is that what do you mean wcw oh you you mentioned you you found a school that was run by a former wcw super sorry uh it wasn't wcw no and uh it closed down it was not like a school oh okay rather not say the name but fair it no it wasn't it wasn't the person affiliated with w it was not their fault um okay it was run into the ground by somebody they brought on to run in it just it just turned into a mess um but i it didn't really matter i was only there for a year and it was super up and down anyway and unfortunately my father passed at the end of that year um yeah thank you um and i ended up going to nightmare factory but it was power factory then so it was just glacier and qt i code he never trained me but he came in to work out a lot so it was before he purchased half of it basically um so it was just them it was just qt and like 12 of us and sometimes we'd be there till like two in the morning if he'd stick around with us why not he loved it you know before a w for all that so that's where i finalized most of my training okay got you brought me that appreciate you uh clearing all that up and get it by trouble and trouble here um yeah i remember by the way i remember by the way i think what what that was i'm sure we do yeah yeah i want i want i want i want to make it but i remember because i remember when it's hard so like yeah um we're starting with the bus right uh but you know i did learn at least a couple things and kind of learned uh like the basic basic basic just about running a show and just being a part of it getting to ring announce there you know so it's not like i didn't learn anything um and i'm still friends with several of the people that helped me from day one there so i i don't regret that that was a learning experience for sure and i did learn a couple things it just wasn't consistent enough for me what's it what's it like training with uh qt and starting working with him way back then because we've had a few people on the shuttle who you may have trained with it as well who trained with qt and i like to give qt a hard time because online he is a heel and he plays it up very much but you know the the actual qt martial seems like the nicest person and like the most helpful person in the world yeah what's it like working with qt he was great um and you know there were a lot of times i was done with this and and it took me a long time because after being at a school for a different year and not fully retaining and kind of still my the learning spotty even though i was learning certain things so for him to kind of take me over and have to unlearn bad habits and now restart i know that wasn't an easy task um i have ADHD not as an excuse but it takes me um sometimes a lot longer to pick something up and retain it as it would anybody else so uh he was very patient and very helpful and explained things so i could understand it and and how you know what would kind of tailor certain exercises and training modules to you and your ability and uh even after covid like um i was one of the first six that returned there were six of us because covid prolonged you know adw's whatever uh they're opening officially so um qt had you know more time on his hands at that point and um he had covid and then we closed the school closed for like a month we went back and then it was just us and he would have all this time obviously we wouldn't train for the full like three hours or whatever but you know if all this time just sit and chat with us and tell us funny stories and that's the the great side of him as well as personality and the stories um and you know just really caring and really helping and uh not allowing me to give up which i appreciate so it was great and glacier i can't say enough wonderful things about uh he is a treasure and he is such a nice person i've seen him get emotional about the business it's so nice and he's very old school but he's very smart very smart he's an encyclopedic of wrestling like nik patrick he knows um and just loves wrestling just loves the business so i really it was a treat working with both of them absolutely i've uh i've still got those autographs you got me from place by the way in my yeah i remember that yeah yeah i had to i had to go low key on uh i'm getting some autographs and he signed a mask for me too which was so sick so yeah i came in your uh in your your box your prize box thing or something that's awesome so awesome yeah yeah it was the best now we got to mention it because you know nightmare factory and all i remember before aw started being you texted like a little bit about just like you're kind of like what's this me like for wrestling in this other company it was like this whole idea of like aw being new and like it means that can be the only thing is this good for wrestling is it not obviously kody was very very involved in that then i also remember talking to you around the time he left aw and i was like did you guys know anything like did anyone have any idea he was going to be leaving and going back to ww what was it like i guess in that time of like just being somewhere who's a part of the nightmare factory and then people who were so close to kody seeing him leave a w go to ww again and then also to see where he is now at the face of the entire you know industry i had no idea and i mean none of us did i even tried to pull it out of qt i texted him and i was like come on i'm like do you really think of like this is the dirt you're over this isn't going to happen there's no way you would like he goes no one knows but him that's what he told me and i was trying to get it out of him but he qt doesn't you know he's not going to do that um so i had no idea i actually remember i was working at trade show that week i was face timing with actually it's a funny story with a guy that i had met that week at the trade show that i kind of had a spark with and he was getting all weird in the conversation and i literally kody debuted right then and there like i'm i'm we're face timing or whatever and i all the sudden was just like over this so i was like i really need to watch this so i'm gonna go and just click whatever never talk to him again but i was freaking out that was just so exciting um and i i couldn't believe it because half the time you want to think that the dirt sheets are wrong and uh whatever but nobody really knew anything and i he didn't come around a lot during that time i mean obviously just for the camp still but um he didn't really he wasn't around as often so none none of us really had any idea because the way that he left a w i think was super abrupt i don't even think that it was like maybe a rumor his contract was gonna expire but it wasn't like a um oh he's definitely gonna go it was just kind of a out of nowhere hey they're not resigning to both or they'd left or whatever it was yeah him and brandy so then um i still didn't think though i still was like he's not gonna do that but i'm i'm so happy to see where it brought him uh i do oh kody a lot you know still learned a lot from him even just kind of being around sometimes for the camps and stuff so i uh have learned as much as i have you know um from him in parts too he's a great guy he deserves it and it's it's great to see him on top and i i know you love that form too you love your kody mark steven's a kody mark if we can't tell by the background there now oh yeah yeah so yeah oh yeah i've got some signed kody stuff behind me over here and that's you know i was watching your twitter when they took the when he shook the rocks hand it was like you take it you know i i know you were just right like steven was coming out of your ears i was the same way too i i will give just i will give ginson credit he he had the saying on the show diamond hands he always believed kody would be in the main event of wrestle mania this year and win the title despite i i am a complete troll to my pal steven ginson i will troll him 100 when he comes to kody so i was always like not the rock the rocks just could have come in and be like whatever i'm taking all of this from you and ginson was like nope they diamond hands kody's gonna be there and the main event not flinching is what kody's words right we had to first you and you had to like obviously you were pissed and you you know like reacted but then when did you wise up about that now i'm interviewing you no no i mean i see what i what i really want to know is what the conversation between kody and triple agent who in the rock and whoever else actually was like when they were explaining to him like we're actually going to go with the rock like i want to know what the plans were going to be for kody then because because they were going to do cm punk and sepprolins at that point so like what was yeah what was kody gonna do um so um no but yeah i of course like at first it it hit me pretty hard in the chat but then i was like they can and then and then once the rock started eating food at that at that live media thing that they actually turned heel i was like you've got to have kody win it all now like he's like tweeting his daughter messaging her death threats the rocks daughter like she had something to do with it that was nuts but that movement that's insane that WrestleMania 40 kody defeating Roman Reigns best match i've ever seen in my life and at the end of that match it all it was like the everything had kind of come down to like all sides all sides were stunner and jensen has turned against steve austin because he wasn't there while the undertaker was there for his guy you turned on austin yeah he turned on austin he was like steve austin did they ask him and he couldn't make it or some shit there's no that's why he was like why didn't he like what was what was bigger than that i mean there's no there's been no austin is not commented on this at all it's all second hand of who's gonna say what austin maybe didn't ask him about this that's what i'm thinking like what did they just didn't ask him yeah i just feel like that's impossible we're so obvious though and it's in front of your face sometimes you completely miss it like it it's true no no that's true that's a true thing but i don't there's no way with the way that they booked that match or they weren't like first off of the stone pole from supporting the rock what state was in philadelphia isn't philadelphia really yeah undertaker was already there because he was doing his one dead man show yeah we don't know what austin was doing he truly made out of an ass we don't know that the very first one dead band show thank you very much and natural i hear it very good i hear like he actually does really good he does he i the night that he retired i could have listened to him preach for another hour and or two like all night i could listen him talk his podcast i listen to way too many podcasts it's part of my job but he is podcasts are interesting some of them will be good i don't fully like all he's interviewing a lot of people that i just don't care to listen to his main one was good they just came out yeah the main one is on the vw when i went for the rumble like his podcast is actually when you're in the business that long talk about the undertaker like you gotta have stories you know and that's what i want to hear i don't really care about the hot take stuff of like oh give me your thoughts on what's going on today's recipe why i don't care about that stuff i such a big character that i he was all you could him and Shawn Michaels it was a great time wrestling and i loved it and i just loved him and i fell in love with everything he does um and just how he works and just how you know he doesn't even have to have a title he's just so special so uh i think that you know he's my favorite um then now forever always will be yeah i respect i'm i'm not the biggest undertaker fan in the world but i sorry well it's because so yeah so me and you me and you are on the same boat here Jeremy but i'm gonna quiz this a little bit here so me and Jeremy are lifelong little stingers so okay the debate of like sting versus undertaker i was always so quite just like sting it's not even close sting i would group it wse you can sting it's sting all day but ever since the undertaker saved Cody like i'm really that's a starting point to you look yes like i really am i mean i'm wearing the beanie right now like i didn't mind i want one of those but i get it no i absolutely get it i think uh if cody means that much to you you know of course i was turning it Steve Austin because it wasn't there did you jump in on the undertaker probably had more history with the rock in that sense yeah it was a way better story so i think in that aspect i do think Steve Austin could have done it could have had a bigger impact for sure but i think honestly and i i don't mean this in any ill will or anything but he might have out drawn the whole match itself in the moment you think about it too oh i like the awesome pop would have been so insane that it would have like all diminished yeah it's actually i mean i love this angle i'm gonna troll gents in so much with this i'm just saying i that's the first thing that i could think about because he's that it's like cena like well cena did help who did appear also way up on my list of like the best cena's cooled up a little because he's been around a lot but undertakers also been around a lot i think that with stone cold it probably honestly it would have been a bigger pop if if the undertaker russels again if you want to see him russel he has one more match like an actual wrestling match not like a like a cinematic match i would love to see it who do you want to see him russel oh who uh i mean take your first thing god damn you know yeah still still make it happen right the check well i don't know under take a while or not but uh you know what i mean it's like someone make that happen but uh no if if he i mean dream opponent would be staying but if he came back right now um i'd have to think i don't even know really that's a good question you know who would be good sammy zane sammy zane can work with ron breaker a brawn if brawn would hurt him i know he would but i think back in the day and his prime i think it would have been good because uh i think brawn is a machine and he's really impressive i think that that would be a sight for sure like a car accident can't look away you know maybe not uh but yeah i've already seen him with randy they had a great feud i don't know right now i'd have to think okay nobody wants to see him bigger instead i thought i was gonna say cody i really was but then i was like no there are cases you can't there wouldn't be a story i need a fight no i i think i do think that undertaker i do still think he's gonna have one more match i feel like if you do if you do it right because like he had that cinematic match everything you did to retire was at the end like in front of no fans i feel like he's gotta have that last you know he wants it just feel like if he would have been back like it would have been he has his jam he has his own ring you can get in there and polish off whenever he wants who says how old i how old was michaels when he came back michaels he was still in like his mid 30s when he came back i think because you got no no i mean the last last match he oh that's funny ravy match yeah that alleged match oh god oh that shit michaels michaels has been count that late 50s michaels is one year younger than undertaker and he came back five years ago i think it was 2019 yeah we came back five years ago for that undertaker wasn't looking great in that match let's be honest like they were all looking over cain's mascot yankoff yeah all of them looked like they should be in a senior home that was terrible they know that it was probably too damn hot too that that was the match where cain's mascot yankoff triple h his arm got injured yeah that was the best we could be the end for him yeah yeah i okay i will say austin came back and faced oen's last year and he was 58 at the time undertakers that went pretty decent that was pretty good and see yeah where they did it that's somebody like undertaker has to wrestle somebody like that he can't wrestle any like kevin no one's works a very smart safe style and you know kind of brawl kick punch type thing when when he's in there with austin when he you know he's out in there sorry when he's got to take care of somebody absolutely yeah yeah yeah maybe not like i don't feel like you can put you mention brom breaker brom breaker's still young kind of full of yeah yeah right yeah like that's why i said to somebody like sammy zane sammy will bump his ass off and he'll he's not afraid to show a little ass as well the johnnie knoxfield matches the greatest match of all time in my opinion oh god i was gonna say honestly um baron corbin uh okay baron corbin's one of my favorites um i he definitely doesn't get enough credit i just enjoy watching him work uh he's like moustifah i'll lead to me somebody that i may not you know clearly they may not know what to do with but i will never get tired of watching them wrestle i could just watch them both wrestle for like five hours straight on end because it's neat and i'm it's it's fluid and it flows and i told i'll leave that when i met him a couple months ago actually he was at action wrestling uh in georgia but um it's the same with baron corbin especially i mean he's like six seven so a lot of tall stuff i emulate from him and he would take care of taker and he they would have a great match uh also two tall boys you know people like to see that you know no corbin i do think is actually underrated he's he's one of those guys that kind of like the miss as well as they've been there for so long yeah so much it's like oh these guys aren't good but like their style clearly works and they've got a job for a very long time miss has a character yeah exactly he has a job and baron corbin has the same thing and now he's back to the og corbin which is great so i hope that that you know things get better for him now um because i i really like him bring it back around uh to to you here you have it in the the headline there six foot bombshell and you just mentioned being uh of bigger stature when it comes to wrestling like how have you found that being a little bit taller than than the other women and fine and maybe being a little bit of a powerhouse in that sense yeah i i try to be um it's i mean obviously the majority of the women i wrestle and you know sometimes men are shorter than me um so it's it's very it's always like a what is the word i'm looking for um it's always like a sight to see when i have somebody that's i level with me or tall i i enjoy doing that or even when i have somebody that's like five feet and i'm i'm five eleven six foot so it it different differentiates but uh i think i can have good indecent matches with both styles so um it's a breath of fresh hair when it's just somebody that's like medium height you know not extra short not extra tall just medium height we can just kind of work around that but yeah the the height difference is definitely there i'm used to it been used to in my entire life being taller than everybody uh you know do you play basketball you play volleyball no no it wasn't i was a cheerleader but wasn't again wasn't very athletic which my father was a professional athlete but i feel like my brother got all those jeans uh more so um so i have the size and strength and that's kind of what i work with it took me a while because i wasn't taught originally to work for my size um and i feel like a lot of people aren't so you kind of have to get somebody this just as tall as you to really kind of work on that with you you you mentioned your dad and i know jensen told me that he yeah hockey player uh kurt kurt walker yes sir what's up there so i'm a big hockey fan yeah he told me yes yeah i'm uh i'm an abs fan um all right that's not bad after fun well who's your team please is it the least okay i was wondering if you pick that from i was afraid you're gonna say florida or boston or yeah no no no or another canadian team that's the only thing i didn't want here or pennies okay so how 20 you right now with the the oilers and the the panthers because you got a canadian team and you kind of i'm not of years ago but yeah oh that's a lot better than what we've done since you know i don't want to go there i i i don't want to bring bring the heartache to you i have i have friends who are maple leaf fans as well and so uh i i was conversed with them yeah i see i understand the the pain of like i know a lot of people like to root against the maple leafs and like like to laugh at their pain i like austin matthews i i think he's fantastic i actually want him to do well yeah and i don't really like rooting against fan bases and in fandom because i never want people to be like oh your team sucks haha your team lost i think that's kind of shitty when people do that to me so i don't like doing that i know i kind of just said that about florida but i i just it's ridiculous it's it's hockey in south florida if anybody the lightning deserves it and i hate that team i'm not it they they won two straight went to three straight the fact that florida said five straight teams in the finals that's what i mean what's the hell it's just but if they win it maybe go calm down next year i don't see them getting rid of bob robsky but maybe who knows what'll happen just give them the damn cup and be your dad at all yeah i know you really look up to him guys i know you posted on him a lot memories and stuff like that yeah i mean anything specific i could go on to for years oh just just what it was like you know being the daughter of an enforcer in the nhl it seems it seems like it'd be pretty wild watching your dad out there beating people up for a living on the ice yeah so he played before i was born i didn't really understand what an enforcer did or was and i didn't really know unfortunately until after his death what his job meant um you know because i i've had so many people reach out uh to this day um they'll find me or my brother on social media and be like hey i just wanted to let you know i'm a huge fan of your dad's or you know he he defended the team the Leafs needed that he was what they needed at that time this that whatever and i was just like it you know he had a job and and he you know that's that's what it was and being enforcers a job so of course he's always telling me you have my permission you know if anybody starts anything with you you finish it but you don't start fights and teach me you know you always stand up for the the little guy and um had a you know he was a big teddy bear i had a lot of respect for him um and him and i are the same person pretty much so uh i i love that um and just kind of channeling that so um it makes it that much easier in the ring uh as far as that goes you know yeah for sure i i don't know if you're if you remember but back in like this is back in like 2020 i just remember because it was right around the time the pandemic like really became a thing yeah because i had to fly around that time and oh right if you're i don't know if you remember i i messaged you because i wound up sitting on the airplane next to this random dude he was around our age and he was watching hockey fights like on his tab what next to me in like the seat and i've just kind of like looked over and we started yeah and it was exactly maybe well he's wearing a hockey jersey and sunglasses on the plane and definitely doing drugs so i don't really want to say the guy's name but but like and i didn't know i swear i met the guy in the line just you know on the way into the plane and i'm sitting there and he's watching this stuff and we just find a randomly talking and we went into the same college and knew some of the same people and stuff and the next thing we know we i realized we both know you and he would what we were like pilots of your dad is like what he was watching he was like watching your dad like fight people and like knew your brother and like knew you and i was like this is such a small world small world and you're not the first one i've i've had people be like hey look at this jersey and it's got walker on the back and whatever you know he he was a legend within in itself you know he knew everybody and was in sales so you know how to big clientele and all that um but yeah it's great it's a small world for sure but uh um you know he makes me proud every day to this day still i i have a lot of pride and try to to i guess do i don't know do my best to kind of try and emulate some type of enforcer or something in the ring you know that means so i have white maple leaves on my boots Jeremy it kind of reminds me of the you know like Chris Jericho's dad was in the NHL and you got your wrestler your dad was in the NHL you're wrestling kind of like some similarities there someone to kind of like map a little bit after a little bit it's pretty cool like when you threw the open the bag of hockey pucks i was like what are you doing what that would kill damn yeah um as uh as we kind of wrap up here and we got a little bit over the time that we had asked you for us we appreciate that um what are uh kind of some of your goals right now in wrestling i know you've got to like going for yourself you know doing regular work with deep self which is awesome yeah you're getting more out there like most of the time when i see you wrestling like you're traveling other states and stuff as well like what what's kind of like your you're kind of a maybe short-term goal right now and then maybe like a long-term like end goal with wrestling yeah um short-term is win another belt right now and uh um i also am kind of leaning into a character transition coming up um i've been thinking about it for a lot and i think it makes a lot of sense um so i'm really just working on honing my craft and making that transition and then also um letting that show in the ring as well i want to get a couple new things to really make me stand out more um i think i'm tired of kind of doing just one and done's places i would really like to be consistent on a couple of different shows uh so that's my goal you know to kind of get out more and just become memorable for something and then uh long term is go back to uh ring of honor or something like that um you know to the big leagues if i can or as much as or wrestle on tna something like that that's what i'm really wanting to do and uh i think um where i'm headed to next might take me there so uh eventually so we can always check back which i'm sure we will but uh yeah i i'm excited as uh the work kind of continues to get more and more consistent which is always good i mean as many things as i can do as many reps as i can get always trying so never stops the the last thing we ask everybody this the the coolest thing in your room in my room yeah any piece of memorabilia you might have any something that you're something to you anything i was gonna say my father's ashes that's understandable i i mean and it's cool but you guys are actually sitting on them right now it's perfect size uh and it's where i ever i gotta talk to people i just put it right up there and i think that's sad every time i have my dad's ashes right here it sits on my my desk right in front of me so he is nail polish for a second i'm sorry i was like what i was like what is he showing me i that's fine you can do that but no i yeah that's great so you do i used to have a mini-earn now he's he's in a big big thing with a sunset on it in the ocean oh nice so that would be it and i guess second would be my bomb there you go you can exit that one out i i said oh you can do you have a do you have a name for the bomb no unfortunately i need a new one need to get a new one for sure um but yeah that's probably it right now can't think yeah because all my autograph pictures from different wrestlers i have a sting autograph uh leader Tory and i have charlie hanam randomly just my favorite show one of my favorite actors all four are like above my stove on top of the cabinets so those are in my room yeah very cool i like you got a collection going i've got a i've got a little cody wall behind me here but you know i i got my ever-growing collection of cards and action figuring stuff it's uh it's a problem and then he's got the wall to cody that's wow well this is my living group kind of well you've been here before this we did an interview here this is like yeah same spot nice okay yeah it's a nice little area yeah so yeah it's just funny i got a little cody wall and then i've got yeah i mean i'm i'm i'm in the deep end i'm in i'm in auctions literally as we speak for raffles for some of the cards right now i mean like i've got i got a problem anyway wow we can we can move on you got to hire a little kid so somebody can get the the belt the weight belt hire a kid oh it's okay oh yeah that's a good idea i like this idea it's a good idea i don't know how to do this though so oh my gosh oh this is a good good idea for next next time wb is coming to town or something just like scott i i would you do this hold a casting call for children you want to sit front row at a wb you can take cody you're not to shave your beard and uh you know just keep the keep the hair in the hoodie but or the yeah oh my gosh i think that would work a lot oh no this rose yeah that would be so funny i think you can do it i think you can pull it off yeah i love this idea me too like me disguising myself as a kid or somehow like holding a cap or hiring a kid or hiring a kid yeah oh my gosh you start yeah i don't even want to spend i don't know what to do on the rabbit hole especially how you go through that process so you're talking about it just think of your thing and your friends that have kids and trust them like a cody mark and then sit front row it's not a bad idea i have plenty of cody stuff i just give them cody merchandise to wear and to hold on to there you go the red white bloop are yelling yeah yeah if any of them like wrestling and then like their camera will totally catch like me behind the kid like grabbing the belt from it like celebrating like like one of those kids like one of those loser parents right what it'd be like one of those loser parents who like you know right you see like the highlight of like someone catching like the home run double give me that yeah like take me from the kid yeah that's my ticket run you're good you might pay the kid 50 bucks honestly yeah you gotta pay him something if he's list if he hears you given 50 bucks his eyes will light up depending on what age oh i would totally take 50 bucks for one of those the actual ring-worn waitbell there you go there you go this this is this interview is done way beyond beyond us at this point it's not a bad idea all right i know you can ask it's not a bad idea at all i just now that when i do this people are going to call me out for it oh it'll be fun just say he gave it to you when he saw how much it meant to you something like that i don't know i got a slide on one of the you just saw the signing photo i'll hear i don't i've heard a lot about it i've heard possession all the time people never get my references because anyway we will move past that i don't want to be i don't want to be an obsessive fan on kody too bad saturday uh june 15th for a doss aversary show it's our one year so we're super excited about that um i won't rest i won't be wrestling on it but you know always uh making a splash regardless i'll be
