This is AP News. I'm Rita Falle. The Surgeon General says there should be a warning label on social media platforms, saying that social media is a contributing factor in the mental health crisis among young people. Dr. Vivek Murthy's opinion piece is in the New York Times. Hot, cold, depending upon where you are, you may well be seeing too much of either the heat or the cold. A miserable heat wave is moving east from the southwest. The National Weather Service is Andrew Orison. Some heat records are going to be broken this week. Thursday, Manchester and Hampshire currently has a forecast high of 103. That would break their high temperature record by five degrees on that day. We're looking at places that could certainly start to crack the century mark. Andrew Orison, meteorologist with the National Weather Service. In California, they're battling a wildfire. Strong winds pushed flames through dry brush and mountains along Interstate 5 north of Los Angeles. And officials had warned residents in the wildfires' path to be prepared to leave if it explodes in size again. To Israel now, the AP's Charles de Litesma has the latest. Israeli officials say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the influential war cabinet that was tasked with steering the war in Gaza. The move follows the departure from the government of Benny Gantz, an opposition lawmaker who joined the coalition in the early days of the war. He had demanded that a small cabinet be formed as a way of sidelining far right lawmakers in Netanyahu's government. The officials ad going forward Netanyahu would hold smaller forums with some of his government members for sensitive issues. I'm Charles de Litesma. Two trains slammed into each other in India this morning, killing at least nine people. This is AP news. And the winners are the AP's Marty Sarletta fills us in now on who won the Tony Awards last night, given out in New York. The Outsiders and Stereophonic won the two biggest awards at the Tony Awards in New York on Sunday. The Outsiders and Adaptation of the Essie Hinton novel won the Tony Award for Best Musical. Hinton was in the audience as the cast and crew accepted. Stereophonic about a 1970s band making an album won Best Play. Acting awards went to Malia Joy Moon for Hell's Kitchen, Sarah Paulson for appropriate, Jeremy Strong for an Enemy of the People, Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe for Merrily We Roll Along.
